So it's not necessarily just Indo Chinese, but it also encompasses flavors from all the other countries too. We ended up ordering 3 items in the following order: 1a: Gobi Manchurian 1b: Smoked Vegetable Sizzler 2: Mushroom Sautéed in Ginger Garlic We ordered the first two together and those arrived relatively quickly. The Gobi Manchurian was the better of the two, but I wonder if it was a bit too overpowered with spice and less of the sweet and sour taste (or even the soy sauce). The spice was a bit too overbearing. The sizzler was fine, but it was mostly onions and peppers. The tofu - while cooked fine - surprised me because it was like the silky ma po tofu (which coincidentally is what they serve here). In other words, the same tofu is repeated across multiple meals. I think the tofu needed to be pan fried at least for a sizzler. Because of the above, we didn't feel full and thought that the mushroom would provide a different taste pallet. Unfortunately, that was a miss as the mushroom had the same taste as the gobi manchurian, when it should've been infused with the ginger garlic. Additionally, the mushroom was way too overcooked so you couldn't even taste them either. It was like a crunchy mushroom. No good. To make things worse, the waiter, who also manned the front desk, seemed a bit too aloof at times. Often that meant not refilling water unless prompted and not providing the check on time or not even setting up the tables properly with silverware. It was a bit disappointing. This place has the potential, especially with the cute decor. But failed execution with the food and some lackluster service do not make this a place I'd recommend in the future.

Here is my assessment, many of the dishes taste the same to me. It's like they didn't wash or rinse the wok well before cooking the next item, if that makes any sense. I would be curious to know what my son says about the food here compare to the location he goes to in Tucson. The two stars is for the two friendly, helpful and hardworking guys at the counter. They also need someone to empty the trash cans and wipe down the tables and chairs.

i am happy with the food and the staff are great. i am suprised why people are writing horrible. before they go to the restaurant they should have open mind of what they are going to try. i went to italian, french, indian, ethiopian, kenyan, japannese restaurant and i always try something different and appreciate the hard work they put into making the food. i love chopstick 3 food that;s why i go there every once a week with my family sometimes i come alone. i am also happy with the staff. there has never been single day that i have complained about food. i remember that my food was not spicy enough and the guy just came in and went into kitchen and made whole new dish, at first i thought that he used same food and but when he took me into the kitchen i was impress the way they make food completly fresh. i am impressed. We went to Chopsticks for dinner the other night and we were so surprised about the quality of the food. The restaurant was completely empty so it was a bit awkward at the beginning. Our server however was so sweet (a bit shy but lovely)! We had spring rolls and Tom Yum soup as starters and they were just delicious! I am not sure about some of the reviews on yelp as they say the food is supposedly blend. I live with a traditional Indian family and have very spicy food on a daily basis. I can definitely not say that the food served was blend. It was rich in flavor and certainly had a kick to it. As a main dish we had the Penang curry and the fried noodles. We had so much food that we took the rest home and enjoyed it for lunch the next day. Really great food and such sweet service. We will definitely be back! read more

This is primarily an Indo-Chinese fusion cuisine restaurant. The food here can be very spicy so make sure to specify your desired spice level. Whenever I crave for some Indo-Chinese food, this is the place to go in NJ. We either dine-in or get a take-out for the Chilli chicken with gravy, chicken hakka noodles and sometimes chicken lollipops. I am holding back then one star as the service is not up to the mark. Not sure whether they use MSG in their preparation. However, I find their food better in taste than the near-by "Chinese Mirch" that serves xanthum gummy food which is lesser in quantity as well. read more

Had called up and placed an order for pick up as I live 5 mins away. Was disappointed to see how the restaurant has lost its charm. Ordered after a couple of months and was not happy to see the difference. They were out of almost any soup so had to settle with hot & sour and felt like I was served whatever was left. Had too much salt to add and had to throw it away. The rice served with the chilli chicken was cold and uncooked as it was hard. For an Indo-Chinese fusion, I would not suggest this place. read more

i love your food, i never expected good service. when i come in there is no way i feel lonely staff always make me feel like home. even when my child littred the whole floor with rice, and water still they were ready to clean and were even serving food. i do go there more offen. i am happy with chopstick. recently i went there they provided me with prayer room for namazz for my child and wife even i rush our they accomodated me everything. read more
