Roaches, roaches, roaches!!!! Ordered for pick up, should have canceled when the woman who hardly spoke a word of English was nasty.. but I ordered anyway. Went to grab my food. As I stoop by the counter, I saw not 1.. but 2 roaches ON THE FOOD PREP area where food was being prepared! I normally get chinese in the Bronx so its a hard comparison but quality was fresh and food was hot even with delivery. I got the wonton soup and honestly the wrap was on the thicker side but it was alot of meat inside. I got a small soup and they only put 2 wontons so that made me feel a way. The house fried rice and beef lo mein were fresh but greasy. Definitely hangover food if you need it. It wont disappointment. read more

Horrible experience both times ordering there. I obviously didn't learn my lesson but not ordering there ever again. The woman there is extremely unprofessional and the guy that took my food out of the freezer was picking his teeth! They are so cheap they only put a few pieces of the entree on top of a s***load of rice from the lunch menu. They substitute the price by giving you basically rice. Another place that gets worse with each order. Last night I ordered a very simple General Tso chicken combo and fried wonton. I upgraded the fried rice to house fried rice for 2.00 extra. I was very disappointed when my food arrived. For starters I was charge a dollar more for white meat.. I didn't order white meat. The fried wontons were literally empty and lacking any filling. Basically fried noodles The house fried rice upgrade was merely 1 small shrimp and a single piece of broccoli. I called and won't say I complained, but did bring my dissatisfaction to the persons attention. She laughed at me over the phone explaining how putting meat in wonton makes the soup too heavy.. huh? She apologized for the rice, but told me not to worry.. next time I'll get more broccoli and shrimp. Sorry... won't be a next time. read more

Chopsticks House is so awesome. I always get the pint size tofu vegetable soup and its so delicious. Avocado salad, the steamed prawns and vegetables and roast pork lomein are out of this world. The chicken broccoli with garlic sause is PHENOMINAL as well as their cold sesame noodle, beef dumplings, jumbo shrimp, eggplant, brown rice, lomein, soups - you get the picture. I ordered from this place twice before tonight. I had a so-so experience previously and decided to give them another try. What a mistake. Tonight's food was awful. My moo shoo pork and vegatble lo mein both tasted like they were cooked in the same dirty grease and were very oily. The Lo mein was soggy and over cooked. There was no peppercorns, no seasoning, no authentic Chinese vegetables, absolutely no flavor, just a few soggy mushrooms. The moo shoo pork had fatty pork scraps in it as the meat. It was a soggy mess with no flavor. My family was disgusted and wouldn't eat the food so I wasted $40. Plus the delivery driver was demanding his tip, even though it was already added into my payment. All over bad experience. Will never order from here again. read more

The prices are not what is listed on the site and this place certainly isn't cheap for chinese...2 combinations, sesame chicken and chicken in garlic sauce should be $14 according to the prices here online. it was $19. Not sure where everyone gets chinese but $9 for a combo is not cheap. Next the sesame chicken was not all white meat. At that price it should be. The wife was not happy with that surprise, however we both thought the taste was there. The chicken and garlic sauce I thought was really good. This was my first time eating there since we are new to the neighborhood, and overall it was good. Maybe we will just avoid the fried chicken so we do not get dark meat. I will however look around for a place a little more pocket friendly. read more

Another good place for this area. I say this because other places around here tend to be bland and boring. The only thing I can say about this place is that I wish they would be more consistent. A dish that is good one day can be so so on another. I can only contribute that to whomever they have cooking that day. Their dim sum is delicious, absolutely delicious. I have ordered from this place quite a few times and always the same thing. Today our food arrives and when my son took a bite of his boneless spare ribs he said they tasted gross and rubbery and proceeded to spit it out. I called them back to let them know and ask if they can remake the order since it was the first time this ever happened. I was told that they would make it the same so I chose a cheaper beef with broccoli to replace it. The delivery guy showed back up and before handing my son the food asked for the order of spare ribs back. Ok no problem, got it and gave it. He opens the lid and says it's eaten. Yes my son had one and said it was not good. He continues to try to argue that my son somehow ate more. No sir. I am a paying customer who never complained and if I tell you he ate only one he ate only one. He continued to argue with me in front of my son and neighbors it was disgusting. She dumps my soup in to another container and stop at the black thing and puts it down. I asked her what it was and she said it was nothing, maybe a scallion. I had been a regular customer and ordered my usual order late at night. They delivered it and I had work so didn't get around to opening it until 11:00 and found that the had delivered the wrong order. I tried calling but they were closed. The next day, I called to tell them and they ARGUED with me even though the receipt had the name of the order I made, and not the order they had actually delivered. They then finally delivered the order to my house, where their delivery man argued with me at the front door, even though it was completely their fault. I showed him the order they sent me as proof, of which I had obviously opened and inspected, and he took the contaminated food back with him to the restaurant to give another customer. Absolutely disgusting and so rude. No restaurant has ever reacted like this to their OWN mistake. Disgusting. Needless to say my family will never order from them again. read more
