Probably the worst Chinese meal I have had with the exception of the Chinese food I had in India. I stopped in for lunch on a Friday. Living in Western Central Wyoming I had a yen for Chinese as we have no good ones. But because I had to visit Casper, I thought I might be able to find one. This one came highly recommended by Yelp. What a mistake! The meal started off well: I did like the Wonton Soup. But that is where I should have stopped. My meal was a Szechuan favorite, Kung Pao Ji Ding. I should have known when the menu did not spell it correctly using Pinyin that it might be a problem. First, the egg roll was probable a bulk made, commercial, frozen egg roll. It was not a hand rolled egg roll made on premises. As such it was flavorless. The Kung Pao Ji Ding was a disaster. The chicken was very salty and almost inedible. There were very few peanuts. The meal was improperly spiced: it was served in a common Asian brown gravy that was bland. They used absolutely no Szechuan peppercorns. It was neither "ma" nor "la". The vegetable mix resembled nothing like I got in Cheng Du. The fried? rice was a browned rice that was dry, lacked the usual garlic, fried egg, and shredded meat. As such it very much detracted from the meal. I understand that most Chinese food in the United States will not taste like the food I had on my numerous trips to China, but this reached a new low. I suspect that the proprietors are not Chinese but are trying offer Chinese food to fill a vacuum in this region. I would avoid this restaurant if you want a Chinese meal. read more

So many times when you go to a place, you only notice those things that could be done better. Often times, we fail to notice when everything is done right. My daughter and I went there last night simply to get take out at around 7:45 pm. I ordered Pad Thai, and Cashew Chicken. She ordered a Dragon Roll (Eel) and Orange Chicken. We requested the Pad Thai and the Orange Chicken be a 5 on a spiciness scale of 1-5. Our hostess was extremely friendly, pleasant, courteous and professional. While waiting on our food, I could not help but notice several other staff members actively checking every detail of the tables, carpet, etc. The place was extremely clean, yet they were still policing it. You don't see that very often these days. The hostess, having taken note of our affection for very hot food, brought us a small container of a special hot sauce to try. All of the food was of exceptional quality. Quantities were good also. I have been to Chopstix 4 times since they opened. All 4 times I have found absolutely nothing to complain about, which is very very rare. I give them 5 stars in all categories. read more

Horrible food and pricey. If i could give it a zero, i would. I would not take my family back there again. Nothing authentic about the food. I tried to order the pad Thai but was told that they didn't have peanut sauce. Ended up getting the kung pao chicken. It came to me at room temperature. Had to ask to have it heated up and they put it in the microwave. It came back nuked and did not taste good. The only, and I do mean only, thing good was the hot tea. But then again, how can you mess up hot tea. Don't waste your money on this place. It's not worth it. read more

The staff is very friendly. The fried rice was good for a Chinese place in Wyoming... As there were many Thai options on the menu, we figured we'd try Pad Thai. Huge mistake! It was spicy, which was the redeeming thing, but the Pad Thai came out neon red. It was suffocated in sweet and sour neon sauce! Pad Thai soaked in sweet and sour sauce? Gross!! My daughter loves their sushi, my favorite is their chicken pad Thai. It's a bit sweet but I like it. My son always gets chicken with mixed vegetables. Good portion sizes. I always take home leftovers. My son never does. Always clean and the owners/staff are super nice. Atmosphere is nice casual. read more

this place shocked me. I have had a lot of Asian food. This was EXCELLENT for Casper. I got the panang curry lunch with chicken spice level 5. A lot of food, spring roll and hot and sour for about 12 bucks. If you like things pretty darn hot, they make their own chile oil with a bit of habanero. Not traditional but it was the best chile oil I've EVER had. Add it to your hot and sour! read more

Service was excellent, very friendly staff. Clean and updated dining area. Large portions on the food and the the sauces were tasty. The problem was the chicken, we got 3 different chicken dishes and in all of the the chicken seemed really fatty and was like eating rubber. read more

This is definitely a better than average Asian restaurant that has Thai and Chinese food in addition to sushi. It was a great find in Casper as we were visiting from CO. Pad Thai looks like a red radioactive mess. Sweet and Sour Chicken is bland. But the worst is the Beef Lo Mein. The texture of the beef was really odd - best described as the texture of seafood. 4 stars? Are you kidding me? This place is gross! I have eaten Pad Thai a lot of places and never has it been atomic glow in the dark orange and sickening. It's pretty hard to mess up (that's why I ordered it). My kids' food looked like some sort of neon orange slop and tasted (apparently, I couldn't bring myself to taste it) exactly as it appeared. We made it approx. 20 miles down the road before destroying the side of the highway. I cannot imagine that people actually enjoy anything about this place. The Thai food in this restaurant is fabulous. If this restaurant were anywhere else there would be lines out the door. We were only padding through Casper, and stumbled onto this gem. One of my favorite places to eat in Casper. The staff is always very nice, very attentive and the place is clean. I like they have a variety of dishes so I can get Sushi( fire roll being my absolute favorite) and the other members of my family that don't like Sushi can get their favorites. Their egg drop soup is very delicious and my boys love it! I love that their menu has so many choices for our family of 6. We always leave happy and satisfied every time! After being unable to locate another area Asian food restaurant I had read about on here, I stumbled across this little treasure and figured I'd give it a try. As I entered the establishment, I was quickly greeted by the hostess and seated. The overall appearance of the dining room was very clean and the lighting was perfect. The menu had a decent selection for a variety of customers, and the prices seemed appropriate for the items and quantity purchased. I ordered the Kang Massaman with a level 4 spice. In hindsight I probably should've gone with a 5 as I like my food to bite back, but 4 wasn't bad. The flavor of the food was AMAZING! The sauce wasn't bland, but also wasn't overpowered by the curry flavor. The portions were definitely a plus, as I had a whole other meal by the time I was finished. The rice they brought was perfectly cooked, and plenty of it too. I travel a great deal, and occasionally take a gamble on where to eat and was not disappointed with this one. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for some great tasting authentic food! read more
