It has admittedly been awhile since I've been here, but I just remembered this place, and considering my memory is still fairly strong about my visit, thought I'd write a review. Was walking around the area sight-seeing after a wedding, and thought this looked like a good place to get lunch. Good choice, and very portable. While I don't remember the exact salad I got, I do recall how much I liked the variety of choices and ended up with something topped with ranch. I really liked that the salads are chopped up; I hate having to cut up salads myself and am a fan of having lots of flavors in one bite. While perhaps a bit pricey, it was a lot to eat for me, and after now working in the corporate world where the cafeteria salads are just as expensive and not nearly as good, I appreciate this option. read more

Salads were just okay, however the staff there makes you want to run away and never go back. Very unhappy to work there, not really wanting to answer any questions about the menu. The gentleman behind me paid for his salad and then the stuff realized they are out of the dressing it usually goes with...when he confirmed he'd like a refund instead of picking up a different dressing, the stuff was rolling their eyeballs and making the whole thing uncomfortable not only this customer but everyone else who's being in this place. read more

The concept of Chop't is great. Use a machete to cut up my veggies so I don't make a mess trying to eat them. I work in Rosslyn, so I love that there's a healthy alternative to all the food truckeries that plague the streets these days. Not that I'm opposed, but getting a healthy dose of veggies does a body good. I enjoy Chop'ts variety of salad ingredients and the freshness I get from them. I also like that their salads are also available in wraps. Their chiptole vinaigrette is my absolute favorite. Who doesn't love salad dressing with a kick? On my most recent visit I learned that they now sell these dressings. I really do like Chop't and frequent this establishment. I give the restaurant a '3' rating because while I love the concept and freshness, it is just a salad at the end of the day, right? read more

I ordered the kabob Cobb with chicken. I also added the red wine vinaigrette dressing. It was very tasty and was a little over $10. The salad was a descent size, comparable to that of sweetgreen. They played relaxing Caribbean music in the background which was nice. My recommendation would be that they add more salad options to their signature collection. The salads looked great, but after eating them i got a weird sensation in my head. i suspect that chopt uses preservatives on some of their veggies. when i eat a raw salad with no dressing i usually feel good after but at Chopt it felt strange after..If chop't is using preservatives on their salad ingredients they need stop doing that. I am here at least once a week. The "Santa FE" w/black beans is one of my favorite salads. If I am in the mood then I will add either chicken or shrimp. I love this place!! I was going here 1-2 times a week for lunch for about 6 months because it was across the street from my client. It was really nice how there were so many options. I really preferred their combinations that they already had made up (santa fe cobb, greek). I also really enjoyed the combos as sandwiches. They also have a frequent customer card. After 10 orders you get one free. This is a little on the pricey side, be prepared to spend $10-12 for a salad, but the ingredients are really good and fresh. I usually tried to eat half and save the other half for dinner to make it more economical. read more

Hands down my best experience with a restaurant handling a non-standard food allergy. As someone with a non-standard food allergy I'm often hard pressed to find restaurants that take it seriously, and also who document their ingredients well. Was very pleasantly surprised by my experience today. Walked in thinking, okay, probably going to have to order something very simple to avoid an exposure. When I asked if they had unseasoned chicken and mentioned my garlic allergy, the employee got out a fresh batch of unseasoned chicken from the back, and brought out a book of all the ingredients so I could find an appropriate dressing. Had the workers who chop the salad change out and clean the chopping board, wash their hands, and put on fresh gloves. Everything was done in the friendliest way possible with no indication that this was a trouble or inconvenience. In summary, amazing with food allergies and customer service. Eating my mexican salad with chicken and siracha dressing and it is so good! Thank you chop't for making my day! read more

Its not bad went there cause it was suggested and seemly more healthy then other fare. I thought the price was a little steep but then again my salad usually comes in a bag from a grocery store. As mentioned If you're a vegan or just wanna skip the meat you can score a good deal. So many choices though we literally stared at the huge menu for like 10 minutes. I pass Chop't on my way to work everyday, but never bothered checking it out because I am not a salad person. I prefer meat and carbs. Since part of my new years resolution was to eat more vegetables, I decided to try it out. Even after reading the glowing yelp reviews, I had my reservations, but it was delicious. I was too intimidated/indecisive to create my own, so I chose one of their 'classic' salads. The veggies were crisp and fresh and the recommended chile-lime dressing was flavorful and just a little spicy. I am a fan. The salads are a bit pricey, but they are a surprisingly filling meal. Like the idea of it. Loved they had organic kale. That's where my love ended though. They chop all the ingredients together which at first seemed like an ok idea and then I ate it. May as well have juiced it in a blender because chopping and mixing everything together produced almost the same taste effect. Great if you're into that but I like to savor my salad ingredients and pick them with my fork for just the right combo. I ate maybe a third of this salad before giving up on it and tossing it-in the garbage. If I go back I will request my order un-chopt. I got the Cobb Salad at Chop't for lunch today. Wow was it a letdown. I had heard really great things about this place and yes, it's a cool idea. But the entire point of a salad is to eat something fresh and healthy. All the ingredients in this salad did not taste fresh. The lettuce tasted stale (I haven't even had stale lettuce before), the avocado was not ripe and the bacon was so burnt and of poor quality that it was barely distinguishable as bacon.
