    The Chopt Greek Salad

The chopt on 56th between Park and Madison is the best!!! I've been going there for over a year and I'm never disappointed. Jackie and Naim, usually make my salad. I recommend the chopt Greek. Aretha the manager is efficient, keeps the line going and keeps it professional even in the midst of a crowd. The ambiance looks healthy so you feel no guilt of unhealthy food lol and it's clean. I suggest you try this chopt bc I'm going again!

I ordered from here recently. A custom wrap. And it had a long dark hair in it. I'm puking a little as I type this. Horrible.

I'm having the Chicken Tinga which is excellent! Joyce built her own which she says is excellent as well.

I ordered through Ritual for pickup and waited maybe 10 minutes after the pickup time to get my order, which wasn't a big deal. The salad was alright but I was ultimately disappointed because it looked nothing like what I was expecting based on the picture. The "marinated" kale just seemed like plain kale, and apart from the sweet potato, everything was just kinda one color blended together. This bowl is advertised as the highest calorie choice out of the warm bowls which was shocking because all the ingredients are pretty tame calorie-wise.

Solidly average salad bar chain around the office in Midtown that does the job. Chopt offers moderately priced salad/bowls with cold and warms with a seasonal/changing menu. I usually go with the Kale Caesar salad, but tried most recently the Mumbai Masala Bowl (warm bowl) from their seasonal/changing menu. It was pretty good (but was not the most wow-ed) and it did satisfy the healthier and fresher lunch option I wanted. The bowl surprisingly came with a bunch of spinach, which was perfect to get greens in but still be able to indulge in a warm grain bowl.

Getting Chopt happens to a lot of kids when they're young. I'm glad it never happened to me because I think it causes premature ejaculation. But anyway. I could not really like this chain any less. I had massive high hopes because some of my favorite salad places in the country told me they were based off of this model. However their salads are overpriced and under-sized and they only give you a limited amount of toppings, and their dressings don't taste good at all, and I can't possibly get full off the large which is overpriced as I said. A lot of the imitators are doing this idea much better than this franchise is. But, since they are serving healthy stuff and I support that, I'll give 2 instead of 1.

Great concept. Create your own salad with a base of greens of your choice. My salad was mixed well and was tasty and filling. I would have preferred an easier way of choosing the "core" mix-ins. There is a list on the glass, but it does not coordinate with the veggies in the display case-which is how I prefer to choose . Overall, friendly service and healthy, tasty food.

The salads are really good, and the ingredients are really fresh and locally-sourced. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the music was great! That being said, this location could use a good cleaning and a fresh coat of paint. We are Chop't fans, but this isn't my favorite location...

Silly work process, but the product is good, although way overpriced. Had a meslun mix salad with peppers (green and jalapeno), black beans, tomatoes and shrimp with the spa (low cal) tex-mex ranch. The food was very good. However, the process is inefficient. The lady got the salad in the plastic bowl, added the ingredients into that bowl and then passed it to another worker. She dumped all the ingredients onto a counter to chop and then put everything in another bowl to stir and add dressing, then put stuff back in the original bowl. Here's the thing, other than the lettuce, nothing else needed to be chopped. I'm okay with eating shrimp...not shrimp pieces. The grape tomatoes had already been cut. My suggestion would be to chop the lettuce more before hand, then add everything to the bowl it's going to be mixed in to reduce the number of times the product is handled. You'll probably cut overhead by 30% and then maybe I won't have to pay $12 for a salad.

Usually I'm a huge fan of Chop't. This location disappointed me, for a couple reasons... I arrived after 2pm to find a fairly empty restaurant. I ordered up my salad and waited for the next available chopper. Compared to the other locations I've been to, this one only has 2 chopping stations. I can't imagine what this place is like at prime lunch time. Lucky for me the crowd had come and gone. But it looked as though the staff was ready to close up shop. It only took a few minutes for the gal to chop up that lettuce, mix in the dressing and package everything up but she just seemed like she was in a really bad mood the whole time. I'm not looking to become your new bff, but it would be ok for us to exchange "hi, how are you's" Cashing out was easy and bread (aka tortilla) was already wrapped up in foil and available at the cash register, this is a nice idea. I didn't have to worry about that tortilla getting all soggy on my way back to work. Speaking of soggy though my salad had way too much dressing. The gal who put my salad together was not only grumpy but was verrrrrrrrry liberal with the dressing. I'm used to the choppers taking it easy when it comes to dressing this lady was not. Salad was good but it certainly didn't need all that dressing. Overall an a-ok visit. But in the future I'll definitely stick with the fellas down on 17th St.

Mexicali Vegan with shrimp and steak and extra tortilla my fav go too with Mexican Goddess dressing

Though the grass here is a bit pricey they are the most tasty. This particular location is clean the line moves fast and the staff is usually pleasant. As salad places go this is my favorite in terms of selection general portions blah blah in attempting cleaner eating. My gripe only and always the pricing for 4 cups of grass is steep.......one salad is probably the ingredients for 2 months of salad if the ingredients lasted that long......lol

A Hidden Gem That Completely Changed My Perspective on Vegan Food…read more Yesterday was my first visit to Le Botaniste, and I honestly wasn't sure what to expect. The storefront and fresh drinks first caught my attention, so I thought it was mostly a juice or beverage spot. The moment I walked inside, I realized it was so much more. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere, and everything looked incredibly fresh. You can immediately tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The highlight of our visit was the exceptional customer service from Alan. He welcomed us with a smile, took the time to explain the menu, answered all of our questions, and gave us recommendations based on what we were looking for. His knowledge and enthusiasm made choosing our meals easy. Alan recommended their most popular bowl, the Pasta Bolognese, and mentioned it was also his personal favorite. After just one bite, I understood why. It was rich, hearty, full of flavor, and if no one had told me it was vegan, I never would have guessed. It has officially become one of my favorite plant-based meals. For my mother, Alan recommended the seasonal Mediterranean Bowl, and it was another excellent choice. I asked her if she enjoyed it, and her response was simple: "Yes... and I want more." That pretty much says it all. The drinks were also fresh, refreshing, and paired perfectly with our meals. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with anything on their drink menu. Even if you're not vegan, don't let that stop you from trying this place. Le Botaniste proves that plant-based food can be comforting, satisfying, and packed with incredible flavor. A huge thank you to Alan for making our first visit such a memorable one. Great food is important, but great hospitality makes people want to come back. Needless to say, I'll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu.

I honestly…read moredid not expect to be this impressed, but this ended up being one of the best burgers I have ever had -- and quite possibly the best burger of my life. I ordered the burger with cheese, and everything about it was perfect. The burger itself was THICK, incredibly juicy, and cooked beautifully. You could immediately tell that the meat was high quality, and knowing that they use Creekstone beef made it even better. The flavor was rich and beefy without being overwhelming, and every bite was incredibly satisfying. The patty had that perfect combination of a beautifully cooked exterior while still being extremely juicy and tender inside. And the bread deserves its own paragraph! The brioche-style bun was excellent. It was soft, slightly buttery, and substantial enough to hold the thick patty without falling apart or becoming soggy. It complemented the burger perfectly rather than taking away from the meat. The combination of the juicy Creekstone beef, melted cheese, and that excellent brioche-style bread was honestly phenomenal. What really stood out to me was how substantial the burger was. This wasn't one of those thin burgers where you finish it and immediately feel like you could eat another one. It was thick, hearty, juicy, and incredibly flavorful. Every bite felt like you were getting exactly what you want from a great burger. The fries were also excellent. I really appreciated that they weren't overly fried or greasy. They had a great texture and were crispy without feeling heavy or excessively oily. Sometimes fries can completely overwhelm a meal because they're so fried, but these were much more balanced and paired perfectly with the burger. Overall, Friedman absolutely exceeded my expectations. The burger, especially with the cheese, was outstanding, the Creekstone beef was incredibly flavorful, the brioche-style bun was excellent, and the fries were the perfect accompaniment. If you're in NYC and love burgers, this is a must-go-to. I would absolutely order this burger again and would highly recommend Friedman to anyone looking for a thick, juicy, high-quality burger. Easily one of the best burgers I've ever

I came on a weeknight with a reservation, was seated right away, and sat at the bar before a Broadway show. The bartender/server was very nice, attentive, and helpful when I asked for recommendations. I ordered the carrot bisque, scallop paella, and a lavender martini. The food was flavorful, and it was my first time trying hearts of palm. I'm not vegan and eat seafood, so I wasn't expecting the "scallops" to taste like actual seafood. They were made to look like scallops, which was a fun touch, but the texture was different. Overall, the paella was enjoyable and made for a unique dining experience. The lavender martini was interesting, but not for me. It had a floral, citrusy flavor that reminded me a little of perfume or floral soap. It wasn't unbearable. It was just not my personal preference. Service was efficient. Definitely on the pricey side and feels more like a treat, but life is too short to worry too much especially for a nice meal before a Broadway show. Burger ($20) with a gluten-free bun ($2). For the breakfast, the portobello mushrooms were the highlight of the dish. They were very juicy and had strong umami flavor! I love spinach even plain, but I think it could have used a touch more seasoning. The tofu scramble was seasoned, but it could either use more seasoning or more moisture. The corn muffins were dry and crumbly, definitely the worst part of the dish. My friend said that the sauce brought the burger together and hid the fact that it's a Beyond burger. She also mentioned that she didn't feel heavy after eating the burger, which was nice. Despite us telling the restaurant that we had to go to a musical, service was on the slower side. My friend also had to try several times to get to the bathroom, since someone was always inside. However, the staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. I would only recommend P.S. The skewers came in a set of two, with a white mayo-like sauce drizzle and pickled cucumber on the side. Super delectable, though very filling because of the protein! The skillet was made with classic Chunk Foods protein, the go-to plant-based option for all the meat dishes at City Roots restaurants as far as I know. This was incredibly filling, but the sauce and the texture were all around delicious as well. I could NOT bother to finish the brussels sprouts the skillet came with---way too much to stomach, and I was going to focus on the "meats" since I can always have brussels any other time! The bill by the end of it was PRICEY. That's why I only go to one of these restaurants as a special treat when I visit NYC. Watch out if you order hot tea...$13!! I guess that's the NYC way, but still!
