I really enjoy salads and when my coworker wanted to go to Chopt for lunch, I quickly responded with a 'SURE'. As much as I go to the Willis Row for CVS or Starbucks, I've never stopped into Chopt. I was helped by Guy, who was very understanding when I told him I'd never been and wasn't too adventurous with my salad toppings. With his help I decided on a Cobb salad, sans the blu cheese, and heavy on the dressing. The romaine lettuce was very fresh, not too wet .. I don't like my greens slopping wet with water. All the ingredients were all very fresh but my only complaint was the avocado, which wasn't completely ripe. Will I return, most definitely.

Went to try a Salad here and all I can say is it met xpectations and much more . Was greeted and staff were supper friendly . One of the staff members named shy went out of his way and explained to me the items on the menu as I had left my glasses and couldn't read/see well . Very friendly and clean atmosphere will definitely be coming back !!

    Welcome to Chopt.

Wow... Yet another 5 star review after one visit. I do this because after just one visit they blew away my expectations and gave me a five star experience. They just completed a major renovation to this strip mall and it is magnificent. It's an easy in and out from Willis Ave. and there is plenty of parking. This is a large shop and there is plenty of indoor dining as well as table and chairs outside. We were greeted with a warm hello from one of the team members as we entered the line and let a few people ahead of us as we made our decision. There is so much to choose from here I knew it was going to take a few minutes. One chopped with everything and one warm Asian Chicken salad. They were both terrific. It was fun watching the process of the assembling the salad. Everything was just so fresh and tasty. Food that was supposed to be crunchy was and other food was loaded it flavor. There is plenty here for everyone to find something they will enjoy and it is definitely a healthy alternative to so many of our fast food restaurants. Very reasonably priced, this shop is a great place for a lunch or dinner. I recommend this location for Chopt. I realize that they are a chain and have clearly put together a good formula for their clients.

Once upon a time, I ate salad for lunch from a place called Hale and Hearty. They allowed you to build your own salad by picking countless ingredients. Chopt has a similar concept, where you pick a salad and you get your choice of whatever you want to put inside. While the ingredients were very fresh, the number of options offered were less than what Hale and Hearty provided. Chopt does seem to go out of their way to remind you that they are "green" (pardon the pun) with signage showing you where the food is responsibly sourced. They also provide a water station with free cups. I imagine many customers only want water with their food.

I'm wondering where my salad is exactly lol Parking was easy. Dining area was nice and clean. The boys working were nice as well. The food station where the food was made was so beyond cross contaminated it was a little concerning. Disappointed though that my salad was like half eaten

I had to change plans quickly as I looked at the specials they had going on that day wow! We decided to go with the duck and the monkfish main course entrees instead. Life is about making the right choices and this was the best decision I made that day lol! The duck was cooked to perfection soft on the inside crispy on the outside wow! I really like how juicy and fatty the duck was very succulent and delicious yummy. I especially liked the wine sauce on top among taste sweet with a slight tart to it juts the right balance I was impressed. Definitely one of the best duck dishes I've ever had it's a special so I'm not sure if it will be available when you decide to go call ahead would be my suggestion and your best bet. Laslty the side with butter squash was also a delight to eat and treat! Second course was the monkfish which was great as well. It had a slightly Smokey flavor to my pallet and a slight crunch on the outside maybe it was torched or seared not sure. Whatever the case it was a great touch to the dish very tasty and juicy as well. I love the sauce and the sides were great mashed potatoes with broccoli yummy! I highly recommend this place for brunch, lunch, or dinner take your pick. They will not disappoint you at all that's for sure. I'm not sure how this place is in the evening as I've only gone during the day. I hope the chef gets to read this and know his work is appreciated and noticed! The staff and waiters are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the entrees and food in general. Great service and energy I will come again and repeat whenever possible. I liken the music they play in the background it's not too loud and always sets a great tone for the place. The windows bring in great light and the decor is tasteful and elegant gives a bistro vibe to me personally. You might think differently let us know anyway. Run don't walk to visit this fine establishment whenever you're in the mood for Italian or seafood or a plain old good burger enjoy.

I was alone and despite being semi-crowded, there wasn't a wait. This place definitely gives a hole in the wall vibe and that's what I wanted. There are plenty of "brunch vibes" in Long Island and that's not what I was looking for today. Service was super prompt and the food came quick, less than 10 minutes. I ordered the Mexican omelette which was eggs, shredded chicken and oaxacan cheese. I expected the chicken and cheese to be cooked into the omelette - it was actually an egg omelette with the chicken and cheese folded inside. No complaints though; when I had enough eggs, I was able to eat just the chicken. It was well seasoned and not doused in cheese, which I appreciated. Note to self: no sour cream next time. It was unnecessary. The omelette came with a side of home fries. The home fries were the perfect mix of soft and crispy, with onions and peppers. They tasted great. It also came with toast and I added avocado, and made avocado toast... YUM. I had an iced coffee on the side. Nothing special about the coffee- not good or bad. They had almond milk and sugar-free vanilla... yay! Lastly, I took a sausage omelette with sweet potato chips to go for my son and he loved it. I would definitely come back. Thanks for a good experience!

Either way, I was nervous they wouldn't have a good meal. But I held my breath and hoped that the reviews I'd read beforehand were accurate. For the most part, they were. The garlic naan was incredible. My parents went silent when they first tried it, then quietly maneuvered the basket toward themselves while leaving rice for the rest of us. The chana masala and chicken tikka masala were also spot on - rich, saucy, and flavorful. Our salmon tandoori announced its own arrival to our table as big chunks of delicate meat on a sizzling platter. The larger pieces weren't completely cooked through, but we just let them sit on the hot flatware for a minute or two more. Spice babies, beware. We requested 'mild' as the spice level for all our orders because medications have changed my mom's sensitivity to spice. Even then, the heat crept invisibly onto her palate. "I don't know where it's coming from," she said, fanning her mouth. Even as a spice lover, I could detect there a thrum of baseline spice in most of our meals. You might want to temper the spice the way we did - by ordering a mango lassi. I've yet to meet a mango lassi I didn't like, Punjab's included. Here, they include a drizzle of something jammy along the sides of the glass. I didn't think it necessary (the lassi by itself is already fantastic!), but great for those who like their drinks sweet and photogenic. Inside, the restaurant space feels like what I'd call 'upscale casual'. It's nice - in fact, it's a lot nicer than a lot of Indian restaurants I've been in. But it's not the kind of 'nice' that makes you feel like you can't grab a meal here in your sweatpants. There's no dedicated parking lot, but there are a good number of spots along the nearby side streets (just pay attention to street signs that designate no parking days and times).

I see where others have written that even the mild can be too spicy, but we didn't at all find that to be the case. We got garlic naan for the table (great!) and also cheese naan (I didn't like that as much, but my sister loved it). I got the lamb tikka masala and have only good things to say about it. I don't remember ever having lamb so tender. Oh and we got the mango lassi with raspberry sauce, which was unusual and tasty. We'll definitely be back to try more dishes.

Why they named it after a German blimp is beyond me. Now after the 2015 renovation and renaming of the food court to the Dining District, many new food offerings were added to many of the original food purveyors. Some of the old ones we've always ordered from like Charley's Cheesesteaks, Wendy's and Sarku Japan have been carried over with completely new stalls. Meanwhile, many new food options like Wahlburgers, Taste of India and Chick-Fil-A, among others have been added. I do miss the old Ben's Deli with their split pea soup & pastrami sandwiches and Johnny Rockets with their diner burgers though. Holdovers like Asian Chow and Sarku still go around passing out samples of teriyaki chicken and bourbon chicken on toothpicks just like the old days. Our favorite from back then until now has always been Sarku with their teppanyaki grilled teriyaki chicken over rice. They know how to rope you in after you try a sample. Whether you're shopping in the mall or catching a movie and you get the hangry pangs, you hustle on over to the Dining District. They will have what you crave!

We had the huevos rancheros, the BEC, the cheddar scramble, and their cheesy grits, as well as the warm biscuits and jam. Everything was a hit! The only element where they faltered a little was that it got rather busy right after we arrived for brunch, and the waitstaff struggled to keep up, so we were often left waiting for service for quite some time. But the rest of the experience outshined that one element. I definitely plan to go back!
