At 260 calories, I was like that can't be accurate, but it's listed on their menu and in their nutritional info. The options to change up the salads, add to, etc are great. I love the concept of put all the items together, laying them out, chopping them up and reassembling their tossed salad. It was great! I like my salad all mixed up. 5 Stars and Respect for the person handling the whole store....but 3 stars for management letting it happen.... We were there on a Saturday around noon. There was only one person for the whole place. She was shuttling between making the salads and handling the cash register. The Iced Tea containers were all empty and lonely looking. Everybody had to wait at least 10 to 15 minutes even though the line was only 3 or 4 at any time. This, during lunch time when salad restaurants like this get their full business. The Salads were OK but the person handling the whole restaurant was flustered, understandably! Not a great experience. Great first experience! Took a lot of reviewers advice and ordered the chicken tinga salad. Just amazing! A base of probably two cups of very flavorful quinoa topped with warm tender chicken tinga, black beans, avocado, cheese, marinated kale, and pieces of tortilla chips. The best part was the Mexican goddess dressing, which is a creamy avocado colored dressing with a tangy cilantro garlic taste. All the ingredients come together so perfectly. So delicious. Regardless of the location, the experience of receiving good customer never seems to fail. Even with the extreme lunch rush at 12:30, me & some other customers were ushered to the middle of the line where employees were ready to take our order...a very proactive way to move the line. I got my usual Vegan Bowl of green goddess & yummy ingredients. The #1 positive aspect for me is there's no attitude from the employees when you disclose Vegan/Vegetarian preferences. Without hesitation, the cutting board is wiped down immensely, swapped out for another one & new gloves are put on. All with a positive attitude & smiley face. I met the Manager VU )V-oo) who took the time out to check the ingredients on the cookies I was eyeing, even with the lunch crowd. I wasn't able to devour, yet I appreciate his effort. He also schooled me on the option of placing an order ahead of time by calling the location directly & my salad would be ready for pick up. I like chopt a lot. I used to come here a lot when I lived in the city. They have decent options and good topping selections. I always like trying their seasonal salads. Came here while I was in town and got their chicken tinga bowl with the seasonal Nashville hot chicken and Mexican Caesar dressing. I love that the tinga bowl has the kale and cabbage mix as the base and comes with avo, scallion, cotija cheese and the quinoa blend. It's a great combination of flavors. I always used to get the palm beach with shrimp or the Mexican Caesar. The Mexicali vegan is also tasty. They recently rebranded and I think the menu isn't as user friendly if you wanted to build your on salad. Overall I like chopt a lot. Being healthy never tasted so good! (I'm currently chowing down on the Chicken Tinga.. more on that later). Anyway, I'd consider myself to be a regular at this Chopt location in particular. I used to do "Food truck Friday's" but I've since stopped that mess and eat greens more often. Chopts variety of salads makes it easy to make better decisions (i'll never go vegan though ‍). I've been a "regular" for over a year now, it's to the point where I've gotten a few complimentary salads. I highly recommend that you download and pay with the app-- keep a running tab and get those perks! And during this time frame, Chopt has rarely disappointed me. But on my last visit I did have a bit of a situation. I ordered my usual, the Warm Chicken Tinga since it was Friday and I was feeling good. The app told me when to pick up my magical salad so I went down and grabbed her right off of the "pre order" shelf. (Be like me and enjoy watching everyone else stand 20 min in line as you grab and go). I get back to my desk, full of excitement, and begin to enjoy the flavors of the warm chicken, avocado, quinoa, tortilla chips.... But then I realize...they forgot to add the magical Mexican Goddess dressing to my salad. What happened next you say? I went back down and told them about the crime. One of the staff members quickly tended to me and told me that a fresh salad would be prepared for me. Not only did they do that, but I ended up with another free salad credit because of the inconvenience. I chose a seasonal salad, in part due to its level of spiciness and the level of interest its ingredients sparked in me. The level of efficiency in preparation accuracy and speed were astounding. I love chopt. Best fast casual salad shop in my opinion. I'm so lucky to have one right outside my office and I have learned a thing or two while frequenting this busy spot. 1. The line is insane! Always preorder your salad with your dressing on the side and it will be ready on time for pickup. Literally skip all lines including the cashier. Plus it's easier to make substitution requests. Beware-- the major downside is they seem to rush through orders and barely chop the to go orders. You may need a knife. 2. Stick with a classic salad off the menu and trade out the toppings to save money. I find the classic Cobb offers you the largest choice of ingredients and categories for the best price. I always add a second type of lettuce and trade my cherry tomatoes for mamas peppers. Otherwise, crafting your own salad or adding toppings will quickly add up. 3. Chimicurri ranch is delicious! I'm normally a blue cheese or vinaigrette girl but I find most of the dressing choices to be bland and really runny (probably because it's easier to mix.) 4. Love, love, LOVE this place! This is my favorite weekday lunch spot and always puts a smile on my face! Don't be discouraged by the crazy-long line - I'm usually in and out in 10 minutes. I think they might have The Flash on payroll... I usually get a Mexican Caesar salad with avocado, and swap the Caesar dressing for their house-made Green Goddess dressing. I wish they could sell bottles of it! Every salad is finely chopped in front of you and a pleasure to eat. They also have incredible chocolate chip cookies to balance out your healthy lunch decision. I asked how long the wait for grill chicken she said 25-30 minutes, I'm not sure how long does it take to grill chicken here but I'm sure not 30 mins and if so then prep should've been in the making since knowing it takes longer to prepare. However, I'm getting the feeling that they (cashier's) wanted me to choose something else for their convenience but they not the ones buying or eating it. When I said I haven't tried anything else so Ima wait, neither of the line ladies didn't even offer for me to sample something since they are currently out of what I wanted, but nope instead I got eyes rolled at me. So as they saw me still waiting they made some comment is Spanish which I don't know what they said shortly after that the grill chicken comes in 7 minutes not 25-30! As it was my first time to chop't, I really enjoyed it! I came here to grab a quick healthy dinner to go. This place was basically a chipotle of salads, and quality wise- it reminded me of a Mendocino Farms salad. You can either pick a pre-designed salad or grain vowel option, or make up your own. The prices are decent for the amount of salad that you get. What makes this place so unique is that they actually chop up everything in your salad and mix it with the dressing so that it's super easy to eat! I ended up getting the classic Cobb for about $10.50 and it was delicious. I liked it so much that I ended up going back the next day! read more

The salads and bowls here are so ridiculously fresh. It's literally the crispest, freshest lettuce I've ever had. I also love that they offer fresh jalapeños and a wide assortment of other toppings to enjoy in their bowls. The hand mixing of salad dressing at the end takes it to another level. I came here today to pick my 11:45AM online order. Once walking in, I noticed how many people there were to pick up their online orders, so I just waited patiently for mine to come out. 10mins, 15mins, 25 mins later...my order still hadn't arrived. Around 12:40PM, after waiting ALMOST 1 HOUR I went up to the cash register to ask them about my order. The reason I didn't ask earlier was because I saw orders who had the same pick-up time as me come around 11:20PM. After asking, they realized that my order was never fulfilled but the girl had my order. They just never made it. Really disappointed that I had to wait almost 1 hour for my salad....There's a reason I did an "online order" & sadly it didn't even work out how it was supposed to. My recommendation? Be aware that any of the wraps can be made into a salad, as I elected to do with the Baja shrimp wrap. Added cheese and the needed avocado and I had a great meal. It was finely chopped as I requested. I choose to get dressing on the side - otherwise, they will mix it in. My brother in law got a salad as well. They mixed his dressing in when they chopped the salad and it was so sopping wet (his words) that he tried to use a paper towel to get rid of some of the dressing.
