The fact that this has more than one star is genuinely laughable. Arrived at prime dinner time with no wait, and a low amount of food in 90% of the pans. The other 10%? All looked over an hour or two old, not very appetizing, and just stale. There's two rows of hot food, separated by fried, seafood, etc. there's a Sushi row that looked a little appetizing but because the hot food wasn't hot, i didn't trust the cold food to be cold. The guy working the hibachi seemed highly annoyed that I was even asking for food, and just told me to set it down (he was mopping the line). Then proceeded to give me the worst hibachi I've ever had in my life. It tasted like all he added was chili flakes and vegetable oil, not the teriyaki I asked for. And when I came back less than five minutes later he was no where to be found, nor did I see him again so maybe he really was closing down.. at 6 pm ... Idk it was so bad it was just laughable. They refreshed two pans the whole hour we were there, one of which has been empty since we arrived and the other was supposed to be salt and pepper crab but lacked salt, pepper, and a good fry. I would never recommend or even consider this place again. The only one that semi enjoyed things was my two year old. I will say the decor is decent, and my server Cindy was absolutely trying to make things better. But Cindy and the building deserve better than the food and maybe the kitchen management they have. There's nooo love or seasoning put in that food.

Stopped in here for a quick lunch the other day with family. I think my family member normal does take away from here, perhaps that's better. This time we did the dine in buffet. At the front, we were asked for our party size, what drinks we wanted (soda, tea or water) and then we were shown to our table. To be transparent, I didn't try a lot of items on the buffet. I did not try any of the noodle dishes, rice dishes, sushi or desserts. The BBQ chicken, mussels and fried shrimp were decent. The rest of what I had was just meh. The table service was decent. She checked back several times to clear plates and provide drink refills. I've definitely had better, can't say that I'd be excited to come back so...I can't suggest that you give it a try.

I used to love going to Chinese buffets but the ones around me have really gotten super expensive and really horrible selection. One stopped The hibachi part and that was the best part for me. I found this one in Smyrna and decided to venture out that way today. It had a lot of selection and as far as I'm concerned most of it was really good. With a buffet it always depends on how fresh the stuff you get is. I don't review it like fine dining I review it for being a buffet. I had one of the biggest shrimp I have ever seen in my life. They also had a little clam dish that I love that other buffets only put out at dinner time. The price was cheaper than fast food. Just getting a hibachi would be worth that and it was piping hot and fresh. They do not have the noodle station anymore that was part of the reason we went there because my daughter wanted pho. But all in all definitely worth 12 bucks for lunch. Hopefully they can partner up with too good to go and sell some of the stuff instead of throwing it away.

The food was good. The service was amazing. The ambiance needs a little more work. Overall a good experience for a quick chow.

I have been to the one in Norcross and really loved it. This one has a higher yelp rating, but I've heard it's not as good. Anybody been to both?

The restaurant itself is pretty big, with a separate bar area and another section that works well for larger parties. It felt comfortable and lively, and there was plenty of space for everyone. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to start: green chilli chicken, chicken tikka, malai chicken tikka, paneer tikka, and mutton masala. You have to choose the spice level for the green chilli chicken and mutton. Our first round was ordered mild but it came out quite spicy. The second round was much better after we asked our server to tone it down. Even though the heat was high, the flavors were great. The green chilli chicken is battered and fried, tossed in a bright green chilli sauce and it had a really nice kick. The chicken tikka, malai chicken tikka, and paneer tikka were all soft, juicy, and packed with flavor. For the main dishes we tried the chicken 65 biryani, ghee roast mutton biryani, gongura mutton fry biryani, and dal makhani. I was honestly impressed by how many biryani options they have on the menu. The ghee roast mutton biryani was the clear favorite at our table. The mutton was tender and the rice had a rich buttery aroma from the ghee and spices. The chicken 65 biryani was also great, with crispy fried chicken pieces mixed into the rice. The gongura mutton fry biryani had a tangy flavor from the gongura leaves which made it really unique. The dal makhani was creamy and comforting, and it came with rice so there was already a lot of food on the table. We finished with gulab jamun and rasmalai for dessert, plus coffee and mango lassi. Everything was delicious and there was definitely more than enough food to go around. The food was a hit, but the service was a bit of a miss. Our server rarely checked in and we were told they were understaffed that day. For a large group it would have been nice to get a little more attention. They also use a robot to bring food to the table which was fun at first, but it stopped far away from us so someone still had to grab the dishes and load the empty plates back on it since the table was not being cleared. We also heard they have good cocktails at the bar, but when we asked for specialty drinks we were told the bartender was off that day so only beer and wine were available. Only after asking the owner/manager (who kindly checked in on us midway through the meal) did they make us a spiced lime juice (albeit virgin). Even with the service issues, I would still come back. The food was flavorful, the portions were generous, and the variety of biryani alone makes it worth another visit.

We were seated in their in our private seating area given or large party size. It appeared that they were understaffed that evening. We were informed that they did not have a bartender that night so any mixed cocktails would not be an option. We were offered only wine and beer. We ordered several items from the menu. From the food standpoint this restaurant is fantastic! Almost everything we ordered was delicious. We had the paneer tikka, chicken, tikka, Malai chicken kebabs as well as the green chili chicken and mutton chukka as starters. I loved all the kebabs! For the main course, we tried three different biryanis - chicken 65, gungaro Lam and ghee roast mutton. The ghee roasted mutton was my favorite. We also tried the dal makhani which was delicious. We wrapped our meal with Rasmalai and Gulab jamun. All of my three stars are for the food! What did not work?-The service it may have been an off night for them given that they were understaffed, but it was really subpar. As mentioned we were told they did not have a bartender and initially were informed they could not make lime soda, nonalcoholic drink for us. However, almost towards the end of our meal when we convey this to the manager, the server informed us that now they had the necessary syrup and could provide provider us with the drink. They use the bot to bring out your food however, the bot never quite gets to your table. As a result, one of us had to always get up to get our own meal from the bot. None of the empty dishes were taken off of our table to make space for more despite is ordering large amounts of food. On several occasions. We just put the empty dishes on the bot to take back to the kitchen. We often did not see us over for long length of time. Overall: while the food was great.... The service was a disappointment. If they can improve on that department, this would be a great biryani spot!

Because of this, dining out, especially at a buffet, always felt nearly impossible to me. Nori Nori completely changed that perception. My first interaction with the restaurant was a phone call to ask whether they offered tamari. The hostess was incredibly courteous and immediately reassured me that they did. When I arrived, I was warmly escorted to my table, and the Chef/Owner--who I believe held both roles--personally came over to guide me through the menu items I should avoid. She also explained that many dishes could be prepared gluten-free and dairy-free so I could enjoy them safely. That level of care and attentiveness was both comforting and genuinely touching. Now, onto the food... They offered veggie and salmon rolls, refreshing cold salads, and hot dishes such as Oriental Fish, steamed snow crab legs, seasoned scallops, and some of the fluffiest white rice I've had in quite some time. At one point, I had a question about a particular dish, and before I could even worry, the Chef was right there to help. She kindly steered me toward another wonderfully fragrant option that was safer for me to enjoy. Her attentiveness felt incredibly sincere--like someone truly invested in making sure I had both a safe and memorable dining experience. That small gesture meant more to me than I can fully express. Living with dietary restrictions means that something as routine as choosing a meal can be emotionally exhausting and potentially dangerous without constant vigilance. To make the experience even more thoughtful, the restaurant also provided plastic gloves so I wouldn't need to touch shared tongs or surfaces. Since I can react to contact with gluten-contaminated surfaces, this extra precaution made me feel genuinely cared for. And finally, dessert: sliced honeydew, cantaloupe, and CHERRY JELLO! It was the perfect ending to such a thoughtful, safe, and genuinely delicious dining experience. I can't wait to return again!
