The only downside was the service. Since the AYCE has a 90-minute limit, I expected food to come out a little faster. There were long waits between rounds, which made it hard to make the most of the time. The cocktails also weren't my favorite. They were very sweet, and I couldn't really taste the alcohol. What a vibey dinner spot! The low dim lights, architecture and sexy red aesthetics set the tone for a nice couples dinner. Also parking was easy peasy! We did the gold tier menu where you get access to premium cut steaks. The ribeye was really good which is no surprise. My second fave was the A5 Waygu. As far as sides and sushi the waygu, yellow tail and shrimp tempura were solid sushi options. The dumplings were fireeeeee and when I say fire I mean delicious and spicy!! The tom yum soup was not bad but I don't have to get it again. I feel like we tried every meat option as a group but honestly they all start running together. As far as the buffet, it was nice. You have a salad bar with an incredible cucumber salad. White Rice, fried rice, curry, waygu meatballs, ice cream, slushies you name it. Side note: The lychee drinks were so good we ordered two. Definitely not worth the $100 (yes, the gratuity was automatically added, that is probably the one good thing I appreciate the server for letting us know). Party of six, but only one grill. Never even got any of the soup because it was on the other side of the table. Every time we ordered the guy just brought it out and put it down and left before we could even ask what was what. There were a few things that hit, but overall, especially the large cuts of meat, were tough and fatty. The vibe. Mid. We got there at 8:45, and there already seemed to be a sense of feeling rushed. Our server was not that guy. I get you were pulling double shift, but dude, I don't need to know that you have a hangover. Nor did we need you to spend 15 minutes explaining how to order when even though we said we haven't been here before we have all had Korean bbq. Dude made the experience, which was a birthday party, feel very rushed. How rushed? We were taking our time celebrating and he just took it upon himself to start cooking our food. No sir. I finally got to check out Wagyu House for a birthday dinner. I've been curious about it for a while, but since I don't eat red meat or pork, it wasn't high on my priority list. Now that they've added more seafood and chicken options, it felt like the right time. We chose the Silver Tier, and Kenny was our awesome server who walked us through how the dining experience works. Each table has an iPad where you can order up to 10 items at a time, and once you submit your order, it times out for about 7 minutes before you can order again. While waiting, you can visit the buffet, which was a nice touch. The buffet includes a variety of meat, veggie, and rice options, along with juice and tea dispensers, toppings, sauces, desserts, and soft-serve ice cream. Your table orders arrive via these cute little electronic carts, which adds to the novelty of the experience. We also ordered drinks--the lychee martini, lychee blossom, and yuzu pose--but all were on the sweeter side and not really to our taste. First things first, make your reservation early. Spots fill up fast, and I can see why, the ambiance is absolutely the main attraction here. Located on the 13th floor overlooking the Atlanta skyline, The Wagyu House delivers a very sexy, moody vibe. When you walk in, you're greeted with red lighting and a sleek atmosphere that instantly feels upscale. No matter where you're seated, there's a strong chance you'll get an amazing view, which makes this place perfect for photos and a night out with friends. They do give a 15-minute grace period if you're running late, which is a plus. Now, let's talk about the food, because this is where things fall flat. I know this might be unpopular, but the food was average at best. If we're talking Korean BBQ, Iron Age still holds the crown in both flavor and value. The Wagyu House definitely wins on ambiance, but the meat itself was not particularly delicious, and the sides were honestly not appetizing. It's also important to note that this restaurant has price tiering. On weekends, depending on the tier you select, prices start at $78 and up per person, while during the weekdays, prices start at $58 and up per person. With that pricing, expectations are naturally higher. The best side I had all night was the fried calamari. Everything else, from kimchi to seaweed salad, rice, and fried rice, came from a buffet-style setup and was cold by the time it reached the table. There was also confusion about service, at first, we had to get up and grab our own sides, then later the server brought food out. It wasn't very clear how the system worked. The meat selections did come out in a timely manner, but servers would stack cooked and uncooked meat plates without regularly clearing the table, which added to the lack of attentiveness. Overall, the staff was nice, but for $78 flat per person, I expected much better service. A lot of the experience felt self serve unless we specifically asked for something. Service was always friendly, the server took great care of us and was always attentive. My overall experience? Feel like splurging or treating yourself to something nice? This roof top restaurant is just the spot, just make sure the roof top patio is actually open... we had made a reservation for our party for the out door roof top patio but when we arrived they said the patio was closed, which was disappointing but they accommodated us inside. My last complaint is that the grills are not located in center of table, instead it's on one side, so if you are on the far end away from the grill you can't even reach the food. I think I messed up and I got the black diamond tier. I legitimately cannot get any other tier now besides the black diamond. It was the only tier that had unlimited premium seafood and premium meats. It's like the phrase when you get a taste of A5 Wagyu you can never go back. I've been to chubby group locations. This was my first time going to Wagyu house along with a very special person. So we wanted to splurge and really take in on all the flavors. Especially since Wagyu House is the only restaurant in the Chubby group that has the Wagyu Sando. You guys I legitimately cannot go back to any other tiers. The meat quite literally melted in my mouth. I loved that the servers can cook your food for you, but honestly, I'm the type of person that likes to cook their own meat. I like the pork a little bit on the crispy side, and I like my Wagyu slightly rare. This place I think is so much more worth it than chubby cattle . Don't get me wrong. Both restaurants are really good, but for the same price point you get a buffet bar and so much more food at Wagyu House. Minus the black diamond tier because this is the only location that has it. I felt like chubby cattle Duluth was very lackluster compared to Wagyu house. Honestly, that was my main focal point with chubby cattle the meat took forever to come out. There were times where I was getting another table's orders. A few of my other friends said the same thing about Wagyu house, but I came before primetime. So it wasn't super busy and I felt like the meat came out at a decent time. Towards when we were about to leave, the restaurant got super busy and I can understand why Wagyu House also has a problem with getting all the meat out pretty quickly when its busy. There is a 90 minute timer and you can't order more than 10 selections at a time. You also have to wait six minutes in between ordering. So you can feel a little bit snubbed when the meat isn't coming out on time. After 90 minutes you're done. I highly recommend a reservation and preferably before the night rush. I loved that this place was decorated a little bit different than chubbygroup locations. Especially the ice cream truck that is different. I will say all of the chubby group location has terrible ice cream like it's very watery. However, the drink drinks and tea always hit! I love the fresh Banchan bar! Because eating just meat sometimes is very greasy especially the Wagyu cuts. They are so fatty marbly but delicious. So be careful when you put those on the grill because they do spark some fire. I inhaled so much, Wagyu. It's not even funny. I think the best cut was the Wagyu Otoro, and the Wagyu sando. You can tell in the pictures the best ones are the lighter pink meats. Decided to celebrate here for my birthday. Really love the quality of meats that's available. We always get the gold and it's very satisfying. Our server was very pleasant. Upon sitting down, she went through how it works and took my membership number. We then started to place our first order on the iPad. However, there seems to be a glitch and it wouldn't let us order anything. She had to get someone to reset it. Not sure if the glitch continued, but 1 of the premium item that I ordered never arrived and the server even placed an order herself. There was also another item (I think a soup) that was ordered multiple times and never delivered. Probably asked her about it 3 times. I know it takes time to cook, but tables around me have gotten the same thing I ordered within a reasonable time. It was until almost 2 hours later did I finally get my premium item, which she had to personally go in the kitchen and make sure they make one for me. She continued to apologize for the inconvenience and her manager gave us a little something for the inconvenience. I love the table they sat us at, it faces the window and the view of the sunset and the Atlanta skyline lit up is really pretty. I didn't feel rushed and was not constant reminded on the time left (bad experience from last visit). The meats were cooked perfectly, whichever heat setting she did on the grill was perfect!! Everything about this place was amazing! Soung was our server and he was phenomenal. He explained everything very well and cooked for us in the beginning. Before he walked away to attend to another table he gave us the best advice to make sure we cooked it to perfection. Soung also gave great recommendations on what to order. It got to the point where I was like don't even recommend it, just send it out haha He didn't steer us wrong. The meat and sushi were SO fresh. The environment and decor is beautiful, bathroom was clean and smelled fresh, the empty dishes were cleared regularly and they changed out the grills as needed. I wasn't sure whether to rate Wagyu House Atlanta three stars (OK) or four (good). I liked the experience and overall, I think this place is fine if you want to indulge in A5 wagyu yakiniku - Japanese barbecue with bite-sized grilled meats - sushi, and other Asian food. However, I had higher expectations, so I landed at three. This place is a bit overhyped. Here's where I think Wagyu House fell short or could've done better: 1. Parking. Parking costs $8.45 in two-hour increments. We stayed a little over two hours, so my total parking cost was $16.90. I don't mind paying for parking. What got me was we're regulars at Kura Revolving Sushi Bar downstairs and they validate for two hours. Why doesn't Wagyu House validate? Wagyu House is located on the 13th floor (top floor) of the Interlock Tower. You can park on any level up to Level 7. Use the ParkMobile app to pay for parking and add time if needed. Zone #8080. 2. Sanitation. Their self-serve ice was in an open bucket with a scoop. The scoop laid in the ice, so the dirty handle touched the ice. Sodas were self-serve in cans on ice. A restaurant in this price tier ($78 to $115 per person before alcohol, tip, and tax) should at least have an ice dispenser. We've been to sister restaurant Chubby Cattle Shabu in Duluth and they have a Coke fountain drink and ice machine there. Why not here? My wife said she felt icky at the self-serve buffets. There was no hand sanitizer. The men's restroom was dirty. Also, it seemed small and cramped for a restaurant of this size. There are only three stalls, IIRC. 3. Condition. Wagyu House Atlanta opened on October 1, 2024. Not even a year old, I could tell this place has already seen better days. It could be better cleaned and maintained. Examples included the men's room left sink (scalding-hot water came out of the faucet regardless of which handle used), the rooftop patio (trash and debris on the floor, used shot glasses left on random tables, several dingy and worn-out cushions), drink machines (out of order), and lighting (burnt out, not replaced). Regarding the patio - we visited this past Sunday and to me, it looked like they had a party on Saturday night and what we saw was the aftermath and clean-up. 4. Time Limit. Wagyu House markets itself as an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) experience, but it's AYCE within 90 minutes. Also, you only have 70 minutes to order food and can order only 10 items every seven minutes. I don't mind the quantity limit - we were able to order more than enough food. What I struggle with is time limits because I'm a slow eater. Also, when I go out, I like to enjoy both the food/drink and the company, and have a leisurely meal. At restaurants like Wagyu House and Chubby Cattle, I feel like I'm racing against the clock. Therefore, I can't fully relax and enjoy myself at Chubby Group restaurants. Time limit enforcement varies. 5. Food and Drink Other than Wagyu. Generally, the side dishes from both the self-serve buffets and ordered off the menu were standard quality at best. I thought the kimchi (soggy), spicy clams, okra squid salad, sour and spicy seaweed salad, and soybean sprouts were underwhelming. The peach juice from the Juice Cart tasted like canned peach juice (yuck). Ordered sides like the various sushi, nigiri, and hand rolls were OK. 6. Other Details. The paper drink cups were flimsy. We had a reservation and showed up on time. Unlike other restaurants, while we waited for our table, we were not invited to have a drink at the bar. Finally, Wagyu House does not award OpenTable points. All that said, I did enjoy all the various meats that we ordered and our server, Karissa, was great. She was stretched thin, however, and we had to do some of the cooking ourselves. Had a great time here. The wagyu was delicious and I found a new favorite cucumber soda. The bottom round and other thin sliced Wagyu were the best to eat. Avoid the fried lamb, chicken nuggets and Wagyu stew. This is the first KBBQ where I found fresh lychee to eat and pressed watermelon juice. The sides were ok I think my favorite was the takoyaki. For drinks there is free soda, lemon water and boba tea. Anything else is extra. Walk around the patio to see views of the city. There is also an outside bar. Parking for 2 hours was $8 or so and I don't believe they validate. Our server was attentive and even ordered one of our selections to get us started. The meal experience is 1 hr and 30 minutes. The last 20 minutes is to finish up, the food and orders to the kitchen stop. The restaurant is on the thirteenth floor. Follow the signs for parking and then head to the elevators. read more

I think you do get a good bang for your buck depending on how big your appetite is. you can start off with unlimited food at their buffet and progress to whatever tier food/specials you'd like off the menu. lots and lots of meat! after a while, yoi forget what you ordered! without reservations, my party of four waited well over an hour to be seated, so do make a reservation! if you want to hang out after you eat (there's a 90 minute time limit at the table once the first dish comes out) you can chill at the bar or on their outdoor rooftop / patio. read more

The resturant is beautiful with the views and a good concept. However when we walked in with reservations we were not greeted by the hostess and there was 4 standing there. They just simply looked at you until you said something. We were 10 mins late for the reservation and they had us wait an additional 20 mins until seated. The service from Sophie was great and provided great recommendations. However, the drinks were not strong and the food was just okay. The hot bar fried rice was the best thing and the burgers. Overall, its great for the views, parties, and ambiance but I wouldn't go back for the food or drinks unfortunately. read more

Stopped by for dinner on a weeknight and was seated without waiting. There is a parking garage attached that you have to pay for and is not validated. You can order 10 items from the iPad at a time with a 10 min buffer in between each round. There's a hot bar that you can grab food from while waiting. Each dish is pretty small portion wise but I liked it since we were able to try most of the menu this way. There's many wagyu meat options on the menu and the quality is great. Overall it's a bit pricey but worth it for the upscale atmosphere and nice views of the city skyline. read more

Went here with a friend. It was somewhat difficult to find because it is nestled in a building so gps tends to get confused. There's a paid parking desk connected and parking is plentiful, Wagyu House is located on the building rooftop and I must say the views are spectacular. Staff was very attentive and knowledgeable with teaching us how the experience should go. They had meal tiers and everyone at the table had to choose the same. This I didn't like. I understand the reasoning but for a picky eater who doesn't eat seafood when everyone else in the party does, it makes your bill higher than what you actually get to eat. It's a lofty price point when you think of it in that aspect. You cook your own food for the most part. There are some menu items that are cooked and brought it to you as well but the majority is on your own. Personally, it wasn't my thing. Not because it was bad but because the cooking for myself while going out (though I've done it before), I prefer not. But their service was phenomenal. There's also a time limit on the tables. It was either 1.5 or 2 hours. Can't recall. That's also understandable. read more

My experience at Wagyu House for a date was really great! I didn't realize it is buffet style, where you order your meat combo and then get side dishes from the buffet. The buffet has a lot of different options, like miso soup, kimchi, jjapche, different types of stir fry, veggie options, sauce bar, slushies, ice cream, etc. It definitely seems like a lot at once if it's your first visit, but our server was super helpful explaining how things work and what he recommends for us to have the best experience. The rooftop has a beautiful view, and the frozen soju cocktail was delicious and quite large! It is a bit pricey, but for the service, view, and various options, I think Wagyu House is worth a visit! They also have a parking deck with an elevator you take to the top floor to get there, that part was a bit confusing for me being it was my first time there. read more
