Listen yall, The drinks are great, no cap or cap, whatever your vice! The views are great and the waiter (Jason) know his anime! We choose the platinum service and it was dope. Steak was tasty, buffet sides wasn't bad and they have ice cream machines as well. The cherry on top is the rooftop views and late night club vibes. Definitely a keeper!

Food was definitely the highlight of our visit! The meats were fresh, flavorful, and there was a good variety to choose from. We left satisfied with the quality of the food. The only downside was the service. Since the AYCE has a 90-minute limit, I expected food to come out a little faster. There were long waits between rounds, which made it hard to make the most of the time. The cocktails also weren't my favorite. They were very sweet, and I couldn't really taste the alcohol. The ambiance was modern, clean, and inviting. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere that made it a great spot for dinner with friends or family. Overall, I'd come back for the food, but I hope they can improve the speed of service and balance the drinks a bit better.

Sheesh, 3,200 reviews not recommended? Hopefully mine doesn't get removed, because you always know I come in with the facts. First, the hostesses at the front aren't the friendliest. How do you have 3 people standing there and no one even acknowledges you when you walk in? I digress. The venue, beautiful! Especially the roof top which offers an amazing view in the Atlanta skyline. The food? Definitely not worth the $100 (yes, the gratuity was automatically added, that is probably the one good thing I appreciate the server for letting us know). Party of six, but only one grill. Never even got any of the soup because it was on the other side of the table. Every time we ordered the guy just brought it out and put it down and left before we could even ask what was what. There were a few things that hit, but overall, especially the large cuts of meat, were tough and fatty. The vibe. Mid. We got there at 8:45, and there already seemed to be a sense of feeling rushed. Our server was not that guy. I get you were pulling double shift, but dude, I don't need to know that you have a hangover. Nor did we need you to spend 15 minutes explaining how to order when even though we said we haven't been here before we have all had Korean bbq. Dude made the experience, which was a birthday party, feel very rushed. How rushed? We were taking our time celebrating and he just took it upon himself to start cooking our food. No sir. Didn't even ask. Very rude. Also the people who were bringing food to the table literally reached directly across my face as I was eating to put a plate on the table. Like, are you serious right now? I can't even make this stuff up. What really pissed me off was the rest of the staff, who kept looking at everyone with a glare of annoyance of our presence, mind you we were only 6 people and not loud. I would think that until that clock says 10:30, everything from the drinks, desert bar, hot bar, would stay stocked. Nope! They started taking things back at 10, which was really annoying considering all together they got $600+ from us. It's unfortunate that this place charges such a premium price just for the quality of meat that they serve, but can't even provide the experience to match. Don't even get me started on the bathrooms. Run. In my Randy Jackson voice, it's a no for me dawg.

My husband and I were so excited to visit the Waygu house and it was amazing. We got the diamond tier option that came with the best Waygu beef I've ever tried. I loved the yellow tail sushi and lobster roll. The curry and rice was flavorful! Our server, Rebecca was so knowledgeable and accommodating. And lastly the stunning Atlanta sky line views are unmatched!!! I could go on and on! My husband wants to make this his permanent Father's Day gift every year!

What a vibey dinner spot! The low dim lights, architecture and sexy red aesthetics set the tone for a nice couples dinner. Also parking was easy peasy! We did the gold tier menu where you get access to premium cut steaks. The ribeye was really good which is no surprise. My second fave was the A5 Waygu. As far as sides and sushi the waygu, yellow tail and shrimp tempura were solid sushi options. The dumplings were fireeeeee and when I say fire I mean delicious and spicy!! The tom yum soup was not bad but I don't have to get it again. I feel like we tried every meat option as a group but honestly they all start running together. As far as the buffet, it was nice. You have a salad bar with an incredible cucumber salad. White Rice, fried rice, curry, waygu meatballs, ice cream, slushies you name it. Side note: The lychee drinks were so good we ordered two. Overall I give this experience a 9/10 and only because we had to wait 15 mins to be seated and we had a reservation. I will say our server made up for the loss and he was great and enthusiastic at his job. See ya later Waygu House (I'll be back for a summer rooftop vibe)!

Went when they first opened, it was amazing all around. Been a few times since then, I feel like it's changed. The buffet offerings weren't as good and that top tier service has gone all the way down. You get 90 max to eat until they ask you to go. So protein is unlimited depending on the tier you choose. I'Il still eep this on my "out of town visitors"list for the view, entry red canon design, and the Korean bbq aesthetic. But it's definitely different than it was. I'll still rate it 5 because that initial experience was amazing. But im good to not go back. Been enough.

Redemption tastes SO good! Had to spin the block at Wagyu House and babyyyyy... they redeemed themselves ALL the way! Everything was a 10/10. I stepped out and tried new dishes, and every single bite was hitting. The waiter? Absolutely perfect attentive, patient, and made the whole experience feel VIP. After we ate, it turned into a whole photoshoot! The staff didn't even blink they were happily taking pictures for everybody. That kind of energy makes a night unforgettable. And tell me why I looked up and saw an artist from 112 in the building?! Omg. The vibes were immaculate. Thanks Saung!!!! Great food. Great service. Great energy. This is how you make a comeback! #AtlantaEats #WagyuVibes #DateNightDoneRight

Great ambiance, tentative staff, accessible, safe parking, beautiful views and multiple options for seating and food. Now for the price the dining options were fair. The all you can eat options were filling. Korean BBQ style is my favorite kind of dining experience which did not disappoint. Good for groups, dates and solo. Nice photo opportunities. Very kind staff. Would recommend.

Wait what?!?!? IYKYK this chain of restaurants can be pricey but if you come hungry, and with a group as motivated as you to fashionably enjoy 90 minutes of delightful endless Korean bbq you will not be disappointed! The House is more upscale than its suburban counterparts, but honestly, the quality is the same. Check out the hot sides, and desserts FIRST!! You may not need the higher tier selections unless you are looking for a specific meat cut. The sunset views is the hook here, so if thet is where you came for- STAY FOCUSED and stick you your plan.. especially if you are on a budget.... now, if it's your birthday, you have a membership and you are ready to drop some coin.. ENJOY!! You will not regret it!! Service was consistent and friendly, the robot server was creepy, and the views were picturesque!!! I'm a fan of the OTP locations but for a special night out, it was

I finally got to check out Wagyu House for a birthday dinner. I've been curious about it for a while, but since I don't eat red meat or pork, it wasn't high on my priority list. Now that they've added more seafood and chicken options, it felt like the right time. We chose the Silver Tier, and Kenny was our awesome server who walked us through how the dining experience works. Each table has an iPad where you can order up to 10 items at a time, and once you submit your order, it times out for about 7 minutes before you can order again. While waiting, you can visit the buffet, which was a nice touch. The buffet includes a variety of meat, veggie, and rice options, along with juice and tea dispensers, toppings, sauces, desserts, and soft-serve ice cream. Your table orders arrive via these cute little electronic carts, which adds to the novelty of the experience. We also ordered drinks--the lychee martini, lychee blossom, and yuzu pose--but all were on the sweeter side and not really to our taste. The ambiance is cool and modern, and overall the experience feels more like a fun concept than an exceptional dining destination. The food was fine, but not particularly memorable. Parking is available in the Interlock deck, with some street parking nearby, but they do not validate parking. Overall, Wagyu House is worth checking out if you're interested in the experience and variety, especially with a group--but it's more about the concept than the cuisine.

We didn't have a reservation on a Friday night. We waited over an hour for a table outside. They initially tried to seat us inside after waiting and then had to wait longer for something to open outside. They may have been short staffed because open tables were visible they just weren't being sat. Idk. I was underwhelmed with the food. I don't go to Korean BBQ spots often but having to get up to get sides was off putting for me (especially in heels). Also the floors are a bit slick in heels especially with the accumulation of grease from all the grills going. It IS vibey with great views but I couldn't justify spending that much unless you're absolutely starving.

    Kimberly R.

First things first, make your reservation early. Spots fill up fast, and I can see why, the ambiance is absolutely the main attraction here. Located on the 13th floor overlooking the Atlanta skyline, The Wagyu House delivers a very sexy, moody vibe. When you walk in, you're greeted with red lighting and a sleek atmosphere that instantly feels upscale. No matter where you're seated, there's a strong chance you'll get an amazing view, which makes this place perfect for photos and a night out with friends. They do give a 15-minute grace period if you're running late, which is a plus. Now, let's talk about the food, because this is where things fall flat. I know this might be unpopular, but the food was average at best. If we're talking Korean BBQ, Iron Age still holds the crown in both flavor and value. The Wagyu House definitely wins on ambiance, but the meat itself was not particularly delicious, and the sides were honestly not appetizing. It's also important to note that this restaurant has price tiering. On weekends, depending on the tier you select, prices start at $78 and up per person, while during the weekdays, prices start at $58 and up per person. With that pricing, expectations are naturally higher. The best side I had all night was the fried calamari. Everything else, from kimchi to seaweed salad, rice, and fried rice, came from a buffet-style setup and was cold by the time it reached the table. There was also confusion about service, at first, we had to get up and grab our own sides, then later the server brought food out. It wasn't very clear how the system worked. The meat selections did come out in a timely manner, but servers would stack cooked and uncooked meat plates without regularly clearing the table, which added to the lack of attentiveness. Overall, the staff was nice, but for $78 flat per person, I expected much better service. A lot of the experience felt self serve unless we specifically asked for something. Bottom line: If you're looking for great drinks, a fun vibe, skyline views, and Instagram worthy photos, this is your place. Dress cute, you'll want to. I wouldn't call this fine dining, but it's definitely somewhere you'd pull out a nice outfit for. Ladies, be careful with heels. The floors are slippery, and if you're carrying buffet plates, heading to the restroom, or stepping outside to the rooftop, it's easy to slip. But if you're going strictly for good Korean BBQ, I'd say skip this spot. It's overhyped, overpriced, and the food doesn't match the cost. Iron Age is still where it's at. Sorry, Wagyu House, I really tried. But average food and average service at a premium price just doesn't cut it.

Everything about this place was amazing! Soung was our server and he was phenomenal. He explained everything very well and cooked for us in the beginning. Before he walked away to attend to another table he gave us the best advice to make sure we cooked it to perfection. Soung also gave great recommendations on what to order. It got to the point where I was like don't even recommend it, just send it out haha He didn't steer us wrong. The meat and sushi were SO fresh. The environment and decor is beautiful, bathroom was clean and smelled fresh, the empty dishes were cleared regularly and they changed out the grills as needed. I highly recommend this place, and if you have the option to wait a little while Soung is worth the wait. We waited 30-60 minutes but we were specifically waiting for Soungs shift to begin.

Ask the Community - Wagyu House

I'm celebrating my birthday this Saturday and hoping to get a ready for 2 indoors to celebrate?

Yes my party was a party of two and i booked a couple days before but not much time was available online. I think only one time slot was open, Saturday seemed very busy.

Are there sides to go with the meat?

Yes. They have a "sides" area you can help yourself to.

Do they have seating for 1?

Yes. There is bar seating there for a seat for one!

Do they have their authentic Wagyu certifications displayed like the Chubby Cattle?

Yes, I think both restaurants are owned by the same group.

    Is it reservation only?

For now yes. It is only a soft opening. I believe the grand opening is in about 2 weeks.

Again lacking in flavor, and burnt in spots. Side of Mac n Cheese: easily the start of the show. Very flavorful, baked and not swimming in cheese sauce, possible notes of ritz crackers detected. I'd have eaten a main course sized portion, and imagine it could mix well with pulled pork or chopped brisket, should Matt's ever consider expanding their repertoire of meats. Side of potato salad: also very solid. Simple but nicely flavored, just creamy enough. Side of collards: fine but unremarkable. Bbq sauce: decent-ish, more tangy than sweet. Very thick. Packaging : Matt's really could improve here. The ribs and chicken, piled together between two slices of white bread, was wrapped in white paper which was in turn stuffed into a paper bag with the containers of sides. This was messy- yes, bbq is by nature a messy undertaking, but a clamshell container would've made the whole fiasco a lot easier to deal with. A fork and spoon were included, no knife... and no napkins. Really? For a paper wrapped oversauced pile of meat... not even a single napkin? I honestly would've been fine paying an extra buck or so for some better packaging and, IDK, maybe a wetnap. Overall, this bbq lover was unimpressed. Perhaps the rave reviews made my expectations too high. I've honestly had better bbq at multiple places in my relative bbq desert hometown of Boston. I was hoping for a real treat during my business trip to Atlanta; instead, I'm yearning for the joint near my suburban New England home...

The mac and cheese, in particular, receives rave reviews for its creamy texture. Owens & Hull BBQ stands out for its commitment to quality barbecue in a welcoming environment. Whether you're a local or just passing through Smyrna, it's a spot worth visiting for barbecue lovers.

This spot used to be called something else and from my understanding they merged together. I wasn't a fan of the previous bbq spot but this is ok. As a family, we had ribs, sausage, collards, Mac and cheese, and baked beans. The smoke ring on the ribs was nice; however, there wasn't a great bark on them. I didn't care for any of the bbq sauces. The sausage was ok, it had cheese inside of it. All of the sides were average to good. I like that the platter was served with onions, good pickles, and white bread. That part reminded me of bbq at home. It's pretty easy to order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty empty. I'm guessing they have more lunchtime traffic. I do plan to come back a little earlier so that I can try their wings before they're sold out.

Ample indoor and outdoor seating options cater to different preferences, enhancing the dining experience. The star of the menu is undoubtedly the ribs, which is cooked low and slow, ensuring tenderness and flavor. The meat is incredibly juicy, with a perfect smoky finish. Also, the smoked chicken wings are a must try. It is also one of the last places you can get them in Atlanta that I have seen. The sauces are amazing but remember this is not Texas BBQ. This is South Carolina so the sauces are more vinegar based. Orders are taken promptly and soon as you walk in, and food is served in a timely manner, making it convenient even during busy hours. Rodney Scott's Whole Hog BBQ is a celebration of authentic Southern BBQ. With its expertly prepared meats, flavorful sides, and inviting atmosphere, it's a place that BBQ lovers will want to revisit. What initially brought me in was Atlanta Burger Week, and I ordered their featured burger to take advantage of the special. While the burger was good, the real star of the meal was the smoked barbecue fried rice with brisket. It was absolutely fantastic. The brisket was incredibly tender and practically melted in your mouth. The fried rice itself was packed with flavor and had such a unique, smoky taste that perfectly complemented the barbecue. It is not often that a side dish completely steals the show, but this one certainly did. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food arrived promptly, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. It is always exciting to discover a restaurant that delivers something a little different, and Sweet Auburn BBQ does exactly that by blending flavors and cuisines in a way that feels both creative and comforting. I left full, impressed, and honestly a little disappointed in myself for waiting so long to visit. This definitely will not be my last trip, and I already know the smoked barbecue fried rice with brisket will be ordered again.

A few of us shared the BBQ Omakase, and I was pleasantly surprised by both the quality and the amount of food. The appetizers were a great start, the brisket egg rolls were crispy, packed with meat, and easily an 8.5/10. I also really enjoyed the pimento wontons. The standouts for me were the mac and cheese, baby back ribs, and brisket. I also ordered the fried rice, and it honestly tasted just like hibachi-style fried rice, so good! The only item that fell a little flat for me was the wings. That said, both my sister and my spouse really enjoyed them, so it may have just come down to personal preference. The service was a little slow, and it took a while before we were able to place our orders, but our server was pleasant and friendly throughout the meal. Overall, I was very impressed. The food was flavorful, the portions were generous, and everyone in our group left full with enough leftovers for the next day. I'd definitely come back!
