Margherita pizza, seafood fettuccine, chicken parmigiana
    Michael L.

Between the service and food, this was the best meal I had in Fisherman's Wharf. I was weary at first of the idea of eating at a restaurant connected to a hotel. But boy was I wrong! Starting with the service, the waiter was very personable, helpful, and efficient. The dining area was great but due to the fact that I wanted to film my experience, I was able to eat in the comfy lounge area in Hotel Zoe. When the food came out, the presentation was immaculate. After eating the seafood fettuccine, chicken Parmesan, and pizza, all were equally great and was the best meal I had on this trip. (I went to quite a few restaurants too!) I highly recommend going to Pescatore. Great food and dining experience.

While I wouldn't necessarily seek out this restaurant, the food didn't disappoint! I ate here 3 times during a weekend staycation in San Francisco during the holidays since it was connected to the hotel where my boyfriend and I were staying at. DINNER - We had dinner here the first night, ordering the caesar salad to share and seafood pastas from the specials menu. Nothing spectacular, but satisfying. We dined here at 7:30pm on a Friday, and not many people were around then. BREAKFAST - We had the green chilaquiles, chorizo omelet, full American breakfast and French toast across our two mornings here, and they were all filling entrees. Chilaquiles had a good spice to them, but I've had better at other spots. Besides fried eggs, it could've used another protein. The chorizo omelet was solid, as well as the American breakfast. The French toast was a real treat, I'm still thinking of it! As you can imagine, more folks are around for breakfast, mainly folks staying at the hotel and redeeming meal credit. Since we were here for the holidays, the place was nicely decorated. "Snowy" windows and all to evoke a winter scene. They also have a huge wood-fired oven, which made me curious about their pizzas. Aside from a charging mistake during our dinner, I was pleased with the service.

Quaint restaurant located in Hotel Zoe. Had their spaghetti which came with scallops,; hubby had the salmon which came with roasted potatoes. My bff had a beautiful chopping. Reasonably priced for SF.

We stayed at the Hotel Zoe and had breakfast at Pescatore! The food was wonderful! The potatoes were very tasty! My kids enjoyed the French toast! Our server was very sweet and kind! She was attentive and have my kids coloring paper while they waited for their meal! Everyone was very welcoming in this restaurant! There's plenty of seating, it's clean and the food is delicious!

Nice place inside of Hotel Zoe. We were staying at the hotel and found out we got $20 off every night we stayed. Our waiter was great, food was delicious. It was a pretty decent price for a hotel restaurant in San Francisco!

Came here for fall restaurant week, made a reservation for Friday night a few days in advance. We had a prefixed menu for restaurant week, here's what we got: Margarita - house marg was a let down for the price. It was clearly store bought margarita mix and didn't have a freshness to it at all. Eggplant Bruschetta - this was fantastic! Very unique and the balsamic glaze was the perfect compliment. 10/10! Lemon Ricotta Asparagus - this was bit disappointing, it's basically cold asparagus topped with ricotta, lemon juice/zest, and radish. I wouldn't get this again. Mushroom Risotto - though it looked super creamy and flavorful, this was incredibly bland. I had to ask for a salt and pepper shaker to even make it partially edible. Super disappointed in this as well Panna Cotta - this was a 10/10. Super rich and creamy and the fresh berries balanced it out perfectly. Overall, we probably wouldn't come here again. For the price, the food wasn't worth it for us unfortunately. Maybe their meat dishes are better but as a vegetarian, there are better options elsewhere.

Generally, the experience here was great, but there is room for improvement. Ambiance: (4/5) I liked the booth style seating and options for tables as well. Price: (3/5) I thought the prices were decent before I saw the portions. I don't eat a lot but I felt like I could eat 2.5 portions myself. Food: (4/5) Limited vegetarian options, but I tried the pasta and Bianca pizza. Pasta was well seasoned but definitely not enough to feed an adult. Same thing with the pizza. Service: (5/5) Food came out quickly and the staff was very kind. In conclusion, I wanted to try some of their meat options but the portions left me disappointed so I wouldn't come back again.

Stayed at Hotel Zoe for a midweek stay which included breakfast with a choice of an entrée, coffee or tea and a selection of juices. The daily service fee of $30 per night also included a $10 discount in the restaurant per stay. For breakfast, we had a delicious full spread. Loved the vegetarian frittatas that were full of mushrooms, onions, spinach, bell peppers and fontina cheese. Served with a side of potatoes and tomatoes, cantaloupe, strawberry jam and fresh sourdough bread, it was the perfect way to start the day. Special thanks to our waiter, Rene, who really spoiled us with amazing service. Used the hotel credit to also have a very fresh grilled salmon. Served with a citrus basil glaze, frisée, shaved fennel, farro and orange slices, it was such delicious and light dinner. Nice relaxing way to wind down after a busy day exploring San Fransisco. Nice way to start and end the day if you are staying at Hotel Zoe.

We are staying at the Hotel Zoe and had free breakfast vouchers here for the few days we were staying at the hotel. We got the cinnamon raisin French toast with mixed fruit and a sourdough egg toast. Both dishes were very good and filling. The server was extremely nice and came around multiple times to refill our water and coffees. The inside of the restaurant is very welcoming with modern decor.

Expensive. The food was fine. Poor rating because of service. Worst service ever and our particular server did not care! Our waitress/bartender (She was busy making drinks) came to take our order and then 35 minutes went by with the word ANYTHING ELSE? The waitress during our visit treated us like we was interrupting her or we owed her something. The table next to us had a great server!

Seated near the kitchen. I hope the blowers are working well...
    Arnel S.

The food was great and the ambiance of the place was also great. But the service was so much lacking. And I think the issue is mainly with staffing. The place was badly understaffed. My family and I came in and there was a queue of about 10 people before us. The lady who seated the people was spending too long per group that someone at the bar came out and did the seating for the other groups. It took 15 minutes for our server to introduce himself and take our initial orders. And another 15 for him to take our food orders. We were tempted to leave at such slow service... The food as I said was great. Only overshadowed with the quality and the speed of the service. They need more staff...

A bit more communication or accommodation would've been appreciated especially for a restaurant at this price point. that being said the standout crudo was the halibut aguachile. I think this was so fresh and the flavor combination is so unique with the sweetness of the stone fruit and the textures from the avocado and the hominy. the amberjack was also delicious too! it had a brightness from the citrus with the watermelon that stepped the dish up to the next level. the pastas were amazing! every pasta was cooked amazingly well and had an incredible bite you'd really only have with freshly made pasta. the orecchiette pesto was bright, not too oily and definitely surprised me as my favorite. the mafaldine cacio e pepe was a close second. the richness from the egg and spiciness of the fresh cracked black pepper was super, not to mention the pasta shape was so whimsical overall the food was spectacular. the dining experience leaves some to be desired. maybe not the best for large parties but for a date night or small party, this place could be a great choice

The experience began the moment we stepped into the restaurant in San Francisco, where she personally greeted and cared for her guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Unlike the typical flour-heavy gnocchi, these potato-based dumplings were incredibly light, tender, and practically melted in your mouth while pairing beautifully with the savory pesto. To finish, the Cannoli Alla Siciliana provided the perfect balance of crunch and sweetness, with a hint of chocolate chips. Amelia recommended one pasta dish per person in the party, to share family style (which ended up working well for us, since we also got three appetizers, and finished the meal with a small amount of yummy leftovers for tomorrow) so that's what we did, along with the starters... We got the "big juicy meatballs with tomato and pancetta," which were incredible; the bread was delicious and certainly is not just a side to the amazing (definitely juicy) herbed tender meatballs. I'd definitely get this again, along with the grilled zucchini with worm salt and mint, which was so flavorful and tasty. We also got the smokey romano beans with fire roasted tomato, which was also really good but just keep in mind the emphasis on the smokey flavor! It wasn't my cup of tea but that's for sure a personal thing. For pastas, I'd rank them in this order: 1. our favorite was today's lasagna du jour, which was mushroom! So delicious, with a crispy cheesy crust, soft tender interior, and an almost caramelized tomato sauce accompanying. 2. Reginette with pork sugo (meat sauce) and spicy turnip greens was next, which had wonderful flavor with the tomato-based sauce and pieces of pork but if you like it slightly softer texture it might not be for you (same with the fusilli; the go-to preparation is aldente!). 3. Fusilli alla vodka with tomato, calabrian chili, cream, basil, and added garlic butter shrimps; this one's sauce felt a little underwhelming and more watery than creamy, and I'm just now realizing that although the menu said four garlic butter shrimp (an extra $7), we only got three. I think I'd come back for the lasagna and/or to buy the pasta from their expansive stock, cook it a bit longer, and serve it covered in a decadent creamy sauce.

My boyfriend and I sat at the bar and our bartender was very attentive without being overbearing and very knowledgeable--he gave thorough, detailed descriptions and recommendations on the wine list and the food menu (beyond what I would've expected). He even replaced my water and apologized after realizing he poured it to the brim, which really wasn't an issue but I appreciated his correction anyway. We ordered the side of wood grilled corn to start, I ordered the malfadine al limone pasta and my boyfriend ordered the spaghetti pomodoro. The wood grilled corn had a nice char to it and we enjoyed the accompanying sauce and cheese on top; however, based on the menu description I was expecting a little more of a Calabrian chili flavor / kick. The pomodoro was good but nothing to write home about, and the malfadine was a bit of a surprise / the highlight! I enjoyed the curly pasta texture and loved the lightness of the sauce paired with the salt flavor and complexity of the salmon roe on top. We love a good dessert but nothing caught our eye on the menu this time, as we don't prefer the soft, creamy desserts like panna cotta (as opposed to something more tangible like a cannoli). Lastly, we also had the following glasses of wine: Verdecchio, Verdeca, Montepulciano, and the Carignan Blend. As someone that loves crisp white wines with high acidity and minerality, I loved the Verdecchio. The Verdeca was refreshing but too light and not fruit forward enough for my preference. We both liked the Carignan, as we like deeper berry flavors, and the Montepulciano was OK (didn't love but didn't dislike). Would definitely love to come back and try some of the other wine varieties and menu options!

I warned a group of four about all this while I waited out front, and after talking to the front door folks, they left and thanked me for the advice. Please be careful if you visit here. . . .
