Christine Lee's is an Asian Fusion restaurant located at the Gulfstream Park, and horse racing is a major attraction there. There is also a casino there. We wanted to see the Christmas lights that were advertised for the entire park. To make a night out of it, we chose Christine's for dinner and the casino for an hour. We ordered a Lycheetini and a Merlot to start with. The Lycheetini was really good , but the Merlot was average quality that upset my digestive system later in the evening. For appetizers, we got the Crab Rangoon, and they were delicious. However, the Pan Fried Pork Dumplings weren't cooked long enough and did not taste right. We tried to send them back, but the server said that's how they are supposed to be. This was not our first time at a Chinese restaurant, and we knew better. After a small discussion, I was able to send my order back, and they took it off the bill. The Barbequed Spare Ribs are advertised as their long-time specialty of the house, so we felt confident ordering a plate of them. Unfortunately, they came out looking burnt, dark black. You can see them in my photos. We asked the server to please bring out a new plate with non-burnt ribs. I'm sure he was rolling his eyes by now, but there is no excuse to serve food that way. By the way, we are very polite and apologetic when we send anything back. Our server said that was how they were made. The same small conversation took place again, and he brought out a new batch that looked and tasted delicious! So much for the appetizers. The main courses were Mongolian Beef and Honey Garlic Chicken. We loved the Chicken, which was cooked perfectly. The Mongolian beef was more average and not as good as other places make it. The Special Fried Rice was made with chicken, pork, and shrimp. It was good. Our bill came to $157.51 for 2 people. They already included 18% for tip and took an "impact fee", whatever that is. Service is very good here. Our server was Yong, who was excellent at his job. No complaints of him at all. He was attentive and pleasant. I would rate him 5 stars. I think that their food items are overpriced for average tasting food. They need to step it up or lower their prices. The competition is out there. Restaurants are popping up everywhere! People want to get out again after Covid. This place was mostly empty. Our reservations were for 6:30pm. It should have been crowded during Christmas week. Parking was nearby in a lot, and there is also valet parking right outside this place.

Hostess sat us without menus so we were overlooked by wait staff for 30 min. The rice was terrible. The Mongolian beef didn't have much flavor. The chicken skewers had absolutely zero flavor but very salty. Even though shrimp dumplings tasted very bland. I'm pretty sure Kristina Lee would be pissed off and know that her restaurant went to shit. I'm the type of person that hates to complain. But they really need to do better. Personally, I would not come back here. Listen up Christina Lee. You guys need to flavor your food. It's a shame that the rice could be horrible. I did like the atmosphere I'd like the tables I like the chairs. It seems like a place out of the movies but I can't believe how terrible the food was.

We went because we had a gift card. It's in a nice area with other shops and things. Server was nice, food ok, I don't see a reason for us to come back. It's definitely overpriced as other reviews say. The cost minus the gift card is probably what you'd get at a regular Chinese restaurant would cost. By the way, the red snapper was pretty fishy tasting.

Christine Lee's is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the relaxing and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for a perfect dining experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, enjoying a family night out, or marking an anniversary, this place has it all. The Beef Mongolian was a standout--perfectly cooked and bursting with rich, savory flavors. --and the ribs were absolutely amazing, tender, and packed with smoky, mouthwatering goodness. Every appetizer we tried was impeccable, crafted with care and packed with deliciousness. To top it all off, the molten Java cake was an unforgettable treat: warm, sweet, and indulgently satisfying. I would have ate one more if I had room in my stomach. What makes Christine Lee's even more one of a kind is its location by the horse racing track, adding a fun and lively element if the races are on. Whether you're there for the food, the ambiance, or the entertainment, Christine Lee's is the spot. Highly recommended!!!

I have been wanting to try this place out. I was in the neighborhood and so I finally did. The indoor sitting area looked nice and it was nice and cool. It had beautiful chandeliers. We sat outside. It had a nice view for us. We started with the Volcano Roll. Funny the rolls were plated to resemble a volcano lol. This was delicious. The rice tasted fresh and it had plenty of crab meat. We liked it. The Crispy Duck was good. It tasted great. The skin was nice and crispy. They rolled it up for us in some kind of white homemade pancake. It was good. The Szechwan Fish was also very good. The fish was perfectly cooked. It was a good portion size. It had good flavors. I got fried rice on the side. That was very good also. I personally, I though the price was a little high for the dishes. The gratuity was automatically applied to the bill. The food was good. The service was a little slow but friendly.

The service was absolutely amazing!!! We had 4 different people come to our table to make sure we ordered, we had drinks, that our food was in order. Impeccable service. Thé food was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend their homemade egg rolls! Amazing. We loved their pan fried dumplings. Delicious. And their chicken lo mein was fabulous! We cannot wait to go back!

The surrounding area outside Gulfstream is ghetto trashy so maybe this really is fine dining for the area.

This place is an expensive Applebee's with chandeliers. Very far from fine dining. This is bad, food-court-in-the-mall food. I did my research I read the Yelp reviews before I came but it was much worse than I expected. Do not order raw fish sushi I ordered a tuna roll and could not eat it on account of how gross it looked. I'm not taking any chances getting sick at this place. Gulfstream is such an unbelievable mess that if you asked them to call an ambulance the track would probably dial you a dominos pizza. The hostess with hideous dreads and a terrible attitude set us at a dirty table. We had great weather so sitting outside was nice. we were parched and after our drinks were ordered they were never filled again. The older staff is good but that is not who we had the pleasure of interacting with. If you table looks "clean" check the seats because they probably wiped all the dirt from the table onto the seats. If you're hands aren't on it, your ass is probably sitting in it. The veg roll was edible but the tuna went to the trash.

It seems our table was generously given to someone else instead of, you know, actually calling us. We arrived at 7:00 PM, got seated at 8:15, and our food showed up around 9:00 PM -- so if you enjoy long-term commitments, you'll love their service speed. Unfortunately, the service this time was so rude and unprofessional that it ruined the entire experience. From the moment our waitress approached the table, she appeared irritated and impatient. When ordering drinks, my husband asked for an unsweet tea (the raspberry-style tea they serve). I asked for the same tea with sugar packets. She insisted it was "Thai tea," and I corrected her--multiple times--clearly stating that I did not want Thai tea, just unsweet tea with sugar. Despite this, she brought me a Thai tea, a $6 drink and with ice $7, which I did not order. Before I could correct it, she rushed away. The tea happened to be good, so I let it go rather than make a scene--something I now regret. When she delivered our appetizer, she dropped it on the table without a word. No explanation, no courtesy, no acknowledgment. The same thing happened when she brought our entrées--food was placed down silently and abruptly, as if we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. When my husband ran out of tea, she finally returned and said, "Oh, would you like tea?" Then immediately asked if we wanted our food, clearly rushing us. Meanwhile, the cleanup crew repeatedly tried to take our plates while we were still eating, creating an uncomfortable and hurried atmosphere. The worst moment came at checkout. I handed her my debit card, completed the transaction, and still left a very good tip, even though the service was poor. She looked at the screen and said, "This is for the tip?" I confirmed it was. She then yanked the payment machine out of my hand, pulled the card out, and threw it on the table. That behavior is completely unacceptable under any circumstances. I stood up to address the situation, but my husband encouraged me to leave instead. I have never been treated with such open disrespect by a server. The food may be good, but no meal is worth being treated this way. Management seriously needs to address this level of hostility and lack of professionalism.

It's hidden inside Reunion Kitchen (another restaurant). First you check in with the hostess at Reunion. Then she takes you to the back, in an area you didn't know exists, where there's a dark narrow hallway and a locked door shrouded in the dark on the other end. Your hostess guides you through the dark hallway and then clandestinely punches in the code at the locked door and, voila, the door opens into a cozy serene restaurant (Blind Tiger) with a sushi counter and a few tables that can serve not more than maybe 20 people at a time. It feels small, private, tranquil, special. We were the first to arrive when it opened and we had the restaurant to ourselves for about the first half of our meal which felt amazing, like they'd opened up just for us. Our server Julian was very knowledgeable and helpful, taking good care of us throughout the entire evening. He also gave us the best recommendations on how to most enjoy the Blind Tiger experience, which we all did. The food is excellent. Everything we ate was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Some of us had the Omakase tastings and all of us tried several à la carte dishes. The Trio Crispy Rice is a must eat. The Black Cod Miso was absolutely lovely too--and it's fantastic that you can order either a half or full portion of it. The lychee martinis were crisp, clean and sweet. The ambiance is always beautiful, especially being located inside Aventura Mall, and the atmosphere is one of the reasons we wanted to return. We started with the Otoro Nigiri, Shrimp Dumplings, and Lamb Spare Ribs, and they were all delicious, fresh, tender and flavorful. No complaints there at all. The issue came with one of our entrées. The Toku Ramen, Kung Pao Chicken, and Braised Short Ribs all arrived together, aside from my Shrimp Fried Rice. After waiting a few minutes, one server told us it was on its way, while another said it was just being plated. It ended up taking another 20-25 minutes before it finally arrived, making it seem like the order may not have been put in initially. It was disappointing because everyone else at the table had finished their meals before mine even arrived, so I just ended up getting a to-go box. After that, service continued to be slow, and it took quite a while to receive our check. I was especially disappointed because I had recommended Toku to my family based on my previous visit. Although the food continues to be excellent and full of flavor, the service this time unfortunately took away from what could have been another great dining experience.
