This is our go-to restaurant and It appears to be family owned and operated. They are always friendly and the food is always great. The seafood is fresh, the lobster rolls are huge, and the lobster ravioli is my favorite. They are the exact opposite of, say, Parker's maple barn which is all farce. We went for a ride and had never been to Brookline NH. One a chance walked in and was immediately welcomed by Vena who could not have been more welcoming. The place is very home/welcoming. We had the zucchini chips which went will with the cold beer. The Chowder was a little heavy but tasty. The salads were crisp and very large. If your in the area, you would do well for good food at great prices with fun staff. Will be going back to give dinner a try. read more

A renovation of not just the building but the food, menu, bar and general atmosphere. We've been coming here only a few times a year for a few years, but after this visit, I can see this being a weekly haunt. The 6 shades of hot and dirty martini was one of the best I've ever had. The veal marsala with gluten free pasta (Thank you for giving me a meal without an upset stomach) was the best I ever had. The portions are huge. The value on my plate was outstanding. I have lunch for tomorrow. The restaurant is a bit loud but the owner, upon stopping by to check on our satisfaction, said that he is working on that, as well as adding a deck back onto the rear of the building. The Baklava Sunday that was8 presented by the singing wait staff for my companions birthday was the perfect ending of a perfect dinner. Best lunch in a long time. I actually finished my plate. I am usually bored with the food by half way through at other restaurants. I had the Turkey Club with Fries. The turkey was thick cut and so was the Bacon. I finished it off with chocolate cake which was great. My husband and I go out every wednesday or friday for lunch and we agreed that this is our new favorite. The place was packed, I wouldn't expect anything else for 12 noon, but the waitress still came over and was helpful and kind. She was attentative and the owner even came over to check on us. This is a small Greek, Italian, and American food restaurant. Their thin crust pizza is incredible and the entrees that we tried the other night were all very good. We had a party of 4 and we each ordered something different and we happy with the food. I had spinach lasagna with garlic and it was delicious. My wife has a lobster, shrimp special and loved it. The other couple had creamy chicken Alfredo and spinach pie. We each had a side salad and just water for drinks. The tab I thought was a little high, ($86 plus tip) but for a special occasion it was worth it. Our server was very nice and despite being the only one on, was as attentive as she could be. Very friendly atmosphere. Feels like a Greek, Italian atmosphere. Very homey type feel. Food was delicious. Lamb Shank was well worth it and their raviolies. This was always the local go to place because of the food and atmoshphere. It was great in the summer eating outside in the deck. They also used to have one of the best breakfasts around until they did away with it. They recently renovated and we're we're excited that a bigger deck may be added as well as breakfast but unfortunately the new dining room no longer has a cozy feel to it and it is very loud inside. They also added a bar that looks like it should be at a restaurant in the city (out of place) which completely took away the "country" feel. Though the food and service is still great my family and I will no longer be dining there and we live close and went frequently. Sorry to see the direction it took. read more

Let's start off with wow..THE FOOD IS SO GOOD!!!!!!! This restaurant is pretty much in the middle of no where and has the best Italian in the area!! They have an amazing variety of food, from pizza, to pasta to fresh seafood!!! Sooo good!!! I've only been here once, The owner was out and about, talking to customers which was a terrific way to start the night off, the waitresses were all so humble!! They truly seemed like they enjoyed being there!! My family and I all orders cups of their award wining seafood chowder and it was really good!! My parents both ordered two seafood pasta dishes which they both enjoyed and I got the fried clams, they were soooo good!! Cooked to perfection!! Everything had an amazing flavor to it, the side salad I got was super crunchy, absolutely spot on!! And I got a chocolate cake for desert, which was from the Cheesecake Factory and it was to die for!!!! The only thing I would suggest is more parking!! This place gets soooo busy!! Happy for the owner, he has made a gold mine!! This place isn't exactly cheap though, but definitely worth the money!!!! We all got seafood dishes too so that would explain the price!! A gem! Local restaurant catering to local folks & travelers off the beaten path. Portions we plentiful, food was great and prices were on target. Pretty solid, simple menu. The fried seafood was good most of the times we went, but once for pickup the fry didn't seem very fresh. I was told it was breaded and fried in house instead of coming frozen and preheated and it tasted like it. Gyros were great, some of the best I've had. Worth the short drive from Milford. read more

Ordered steak and lobster zola, (lobster ravioli with a cream sauce and three steak tips) for $21.99. The lobster was very good but steak tips were tough and over cooked. I couldn't hardly cut it or chew it. After the first bite of steak I decided not to eat it or return it as the lobster was good. I told the waitress and she apologize. I told her not to bother with the re- fire of the steak tips and I would just eat the lobsters. I thought mabye there would be a small adjustment on the bill but no. I asked her if they had lobster ravioli on the menu and she said yes. I said I would only jet that next time as the steak was inedible. Still she didn't get the hint. I was charged full price but only ate the ravioli. The lobster ravioli on the menu is 17.99 I think. Not a big difference from 21.99 but it would have been nice to have some credit. That said, the food and service are good, much better than Georgios. And they have free wifi. read more

Absolutely the best meal out we have had in years. I had the gyro plate and my wife had the fish and chips. Both were EXCEPTIONAL. The staff of waitresses are just awesome. The owner/chef came out and greeted some of his guests and solicited input. He is an ace cook and host. I guess his sons cook in the back too. Chrysanthi's is now my go to restaurant for evenings out. I am very excited to try all the other exciting things on the menu. Quality ingredients, good cooks and waitresses in a country environment. Chrysanthi's is super! I have been there a handful of times, from picking up a pizza to take home to sitting down for a full dinner. The menu has plenty to pick from and every meal I've ever had was excellent. The salads are huge with generous portions of everything, the subs are excellent, the pizza is flavorful, and the staff is very good. I met some friends who live closer to this place than I do, for breakfast on a Saturday. Food was very good, portions were way too generous, good service, pleasant atmosphere. My sister and I split an omelette and muffin, which was more than enough for both. The other friends had their own breakfast, not about to share, and I can't believe they ate the whole thing. :-) It was a wonderful place. These same friends have all been there for lunch and dinner and expressed that they really enjoyed the food. I look forward to getting back out that way to try it again. read more

6 of us went for dinner last night; one couple has been here several times before, but it was the first time for the other 4 of us. The waitress came right over & got us started with drinks; she was very pleasant and attentive to our table making sure we had everything we needed. I had the ravaloni special, which was a huge ravioli stuffed with shrimp, scallop, lobster & I believe Swiss cheese, with asparagus cooked to absolute perfection on top, and a delicious sauce over everything. My fiance had the seafood Florentine (which I sampled) that was delicious and had the perfect ratio of seafood to pasta. All 6 of us were extremely pleased with our selection & we're all talking about the next time we'll be back to try another dish, or maybe have the same one again because it was that good!! read more

I saw good reviews for this restaurant and my wife and I were going to be in the area so we stopped by. FANTASTIC! My wife orders lasagna whenever it is available and said this was the best she has every had. She said the ricotta cheese was creamy and seasoned just right and there was lots of meat. The portion was huge as well. I had the Seafood Florentine. The scallops where seared perfectly. They were very tender. The pasta was done just right. I do like this place because it is real good homemade food but I was disappointed on my last takeout. I repeated the order 3 times to the girl who took it and she repeated it back to me as well and they still got it wrong. I ordered a xtra-thin crust cheese pizza and got a regular small cheese pizza which was like a greek style. I ordered a large chicken broccoli spinach calzone and I got thick piece of dough with everything melted on top of the dough, whoever made it apparently doesn't know how to make a calozone, the ingredients are suppose to be baked inside a dough pocket. It all tasted good however fresh ingredients just disappointed after spending 32.00 and not getting what I expected at least they got the Meatball sub right. It's the only time they got it wrong so we'll still be back for more because as I said it's good fresh homemade food. read more

I'm from Boston and I travel in my work. I stopped by recently at noon (5/19/15). I met by a very lovely young lady from Manchester who waited on me. I knew nothing about the restaurant so she pointed to the specials board. I go the lamb kabobs. WOW! Fantastic. The lamb was done perfectly and the accompanying salad, bread, rice, and sauce were exceptional. I was totally suprised at the quality of the meal. All I wanted was a quick sandwich and I got a gourmet meal. I should have asked the ladies name but I didn't . She was very friendly, efficient, informative, and just plain sweet. I felt like I knew her for a long time by the time I left. I would highly reconmmed this restaurant to anyone who loves middle eastern favors and form what I see, perfect pizzas also. We stopped in for lunch after hiking in the nearby Andres Park. Staff was friendly and gave suggestions as to some of the dishes they were known for. The seafood chowder was creamy and tasty. The zucchini chips were very good, crispy without being greasy and not heavily breaded. The moussaka was said to be usually available and was delicious! Authentic and perfectly spiced. Went their with my daughter and wife. Ordered the eggplant fries and a cup of corn chowder to start. Eggplant fries had a little bit too much batter for my liking but they wernt too bad. Corn chowder was super good! Our original waitress wasnt overly friendly and disappeared after 10 minutes to go hang out with her family on the deck. The 2nd girl who took over with glasses was super nice. Wish we had her from the start. We ended up getting the steak tip-mushroom alfredo and the Spinach and garlic ravioli. the steak tip mushroom alfredo was good. I think for $20 they could have thrown in another steaktip to make 4 but it is what it is. My wifes ravioli was average at best. The spinach inside seemed almost raw and overall was just not good. My biggest gripes were that no one asked us how the food was, even the owner. He was cleaning tables around us throughout our meal and did not acknowlege us once. There was probably 8 people in the whole place so its not like he couldnt take 20sec to ask how everything was. The other was our waitress didn't tell us that there was any specials on the menu. While I was waiting to pay our bill, I overheard the good waitress with glasses telling the couple next to us about the specials they had. The couple both ordered lobster rolls. I have been dying to have a lobster roll all summer. Would have been nice to know about them. I wouldnt go back again based on our experience and would not recommend this establishment to anyone else. read more
