I'm kind of guessing on the exact contents because I couldn't find an actual description on either the menu or the restaurant's website. The soft shell crab was easily the best part of the combo, although that's admittedly a pretty low bar. The hand roll and baked crab pieces were passable. The California roll was more akin to something you'd find in a Ralph's grocery store sushi section than at an actual sushi restaurant. I also had the unfortunate experience of trying the salmon skin roll. The salmon skin may as well have been jerky. It didn't have that light crispness, but was extremely tough and not enjoyable at all. Definitely would pass on that. For basically $30 for this combo, I honestly think you're better off going to an actual sushi restaurant like Aikan. SushiStop is probably fine if you just want quick, cheap sushi, but if you're looking for a meal you'll genuinely enjoy, I'd probably recommend going elsewhere.

The genki was by far our favorite roll, has both salmon and unagi. The chuck-h roll was second, we didn't realize it had cream cheese. It looks like they have karaoke nights and there are a few screens playing K dramas in the background. Cons: the food. Not the sauce, but the chicken itself has been marinated in some type of cinnamon sugar recipe. That is not familiar to me when I think about Korean fried chicken. We even discussed giving them the benefit of the doubt that this could be a difference regionally that we had not experienced before. All of my concerns were confirmed the next day when I reheated the food in an attempt to give it a second chance with a fresh pallet. None of the leftovers were even edible. Finally, nothing is more annoying than a server who claims that the bill cannot be split any other way, but 50/50. It's 2026 and all back end systems allow split bills. Once again, this is understandable during peak hours, but it would have benefited the server to take two more minutes to try to figure out his system. This should be part of your server training. It seems he had plenty of time to learn since the place was so empty and in fact, my friend and I joked that we would be happy to teach him as we are familiar with industry standards. Thai Tea Caramel Creme - This is honestly the reason I order from here. I am a damn fiend for Thai Tea-flavored desserts, and I crave this one all the time. It has a rich, velvety texture and a strong Thai tea flavor. I have thought of stopping by just to order this, and I probably will. Our orders have always been ready on time, although I can't speak for any dining-in experience, and I think it's a little pricier than other Thai restaurants. The website is just a little wonky... I like that everything is customizable in just about every way, and there are pictures of most items, but the pho order wasn't clear about what it would come with, and some of the upcharges are higher than they should be.
