Came here for a birthday party and was very impressed by the overall experience compared to others I have visited... Started off super impressed by kid check in procedure. While all of them have it they are not always run that efficiently and with this specific location I felt as if they really took it serious and will make you feel safe with your kids. They have gates blocking entering and exiting and could have sworn the last one we went to had a rope which no one was even monitoring at times. This location they always had someone at the door. The layout of the place was quite spacious and felt a little more spread out than others. I also liked some of the games they had at this location that I don't think I had seen at others, but still hands few that needed a new screen and or were not working correctly and more games to win tickets than other single or multiplayer games. The food quality had never every impressed me at any Chuck E. Cheese and this one really appears identical to the others, so nothing to report on more than salad bar is a good alternative to anything else they have, but even then it is just okay. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful looks like they actually enjoy working here which is a pleasure. It's also extremely clean like they really take care in making sure that all of the game and/or walking areas are clean. read more

First Chuck E Cheese ever visited and have to say, overall, very impressed. Yes, we came here on a Saturday morning, early morning at around 9:30 a.m., and found it to be full of people and children. The thing that struck me was how clean it was. In my mind, Chuck E Cheese's is known for dirty carpets and food stained machines/toys, with children in pajamas running around, bugger faced, without supervison - but to my amazement, this Chuck E Cheese's was actually, clean, and adults are very responsible - at least they follow their kids around. My lo enjoyed all the rides and was exhausted after an hour and a half's work out. Yay for me and hubby! The cost was reasonable, as we bought a packaged deal that gave us some Chuck E Cheese coins and a large pizza with 4 drinks, was about 40 smth, but still, better than my lo yelling and screaming and crying at other restaurans. The other thing that I liked: they stamp your hand/baby's arms with the same code, so any non-family member or stranger that tries to abduct your child will be met with full force when leaving! Yes! So, be sure that when you are traveling in groups, no one ever tags along and call themselves to be part of your group - just to keep an extra eye out. That alone, methinks, calls for some kudos. Okay to my surprised, my husband actually enjoyed this place =P And I had fun too with my son. He is almost 4. My daughter had fun too. She loves the one token rides. We went for a friend's daughter's 5th birthday. It was noisy and yes a wild zoo in there. We had to yell to have a conversation with each other. But after all it was about entertaining kids. Some parents were really rude in there I agreed with some of the comments here. There was a dad and his kids crashing my friend's party and they where trying to get through to take picture with Chuck and was pushing the birthday girl and her friends out of the way. And the party crasher's son was also gathering all the tickets the hostess threw for her guests. I was like excused me are you with the party? And he looked at me like he doesn't understand English. This was by far the nicest cleanest Chuck E Cheese my family has ever been to. DeMario ( who over saw our party) and his team gave phenomenal service to both our adult and kid guests He went out of his way to make sure we always had what we needed and beyond. It was so appreciated and noticed, by all our guests! My daughter Aaliyah had the best time and was obsessed with the character mouse who played Chuck E. He held her hand went to play a game with her and wa super friendly, when asked for pictures. Carlos, fixed the ticket wind machine so my daughter could got in her brother. Again, DeMario and his team went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. The pizza was fresh and delicious and we were all surprised at how fresh the celery and wings were. This review was long overdue. This happened last year. I was having a bad morning at work and when I planned my son's birthday all of his cousins and friends couldn't make it. I don't have a really big family and we don't have much friends with kids so we don't know much kids in general. My son and I were in line and ordered from Rhiannon (pictured) and she randomly told my son "you're so adorable!" It was just my son and husband and my brother and one of my cousins that came to celebrate my son's birthday. (Everyone was busy or out of town on his birthday weekend) This lady made my son feel so special that day by coming to see how we're doing. She took really good care of us and she didn't event know our situation. She knew we were celebrating his bday but she didn't know about how I couldn't get all his friends and cousins to come. She made my son's day feel so special that I ended up coming up to her with him and he hugged her and thanked her for a great birthday. I started crying cause I already had a rough work morning and for this person to make my son happy was everything! It's been a year and I'm so sorry I can't remember her name but I have a photograph of them together and I'll never forget the experience she gave me son. Thank you again for making us feel special! I love rolling the balls into the holes, you know what I mean. For that reason I think I keep coming back. Maybe having two toddlers is another reason. It certainly isn't the pizza, but for some reason I keep buying them each time. I have to admit though, when there are no birthday parties and the crowd is less than 20, including adults, it is sort of fun to have the run of the place. Came here on a Tuesday for a kiddos birthday party and when we first came there weren't a lot of kids. When it reached around 7pm, the birthday parties, families, and kids starting swarming in. I haven't been to Chuck E Cheese since I was a kid so I don't remember how it was when I was little, but coming here recently as an adult, it wasn't so bad. This place is huge, one side is for the toddlers and the other side is for the bigger kids. There are plenty of games and mini rides for the kids to play with and Chuckie comes out when its your birthday to take pictures and sing happy birthday to you. Workers here are nice and friendly. When it's your birthday, you can go into the ticket machine where you try to catch as many tickets with your body/hands/clothes as you can. Their pizza is yummy when it comes out fresh, but of course when pizza gets cold it doesn't taste so good. their slices are thin and small, but the size of the whole pizza itself is huge. I enjoyed eating the crust; I'm a big crust girl, and it honestly didn't taste that bad. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. That's always a plus! read more

Yesterday was my sons 3rd birthday and my goddaughters 2nd birthday and we decided to celebrate both here at chuck e cheese. From the moment my party walked in to the moment we left we had nothing but amazing service. I had not been to chuck e cheese in about 2 years and this experience left me in awe. They helped me understand the right food choices for my party size and the cheapest option for play cards. We were a party of 20 and most likely asked for a lot from them. Had an unforgettable, bad experience at this location. I held my sons birthday here since last year we had an awesome experience doing the whole Chuck E. Cheese birthday star thing. Our previous experience was at the Burbank Location and had nothing but great things to say about it. Everything was planned out so smoothly since the moment we walked into their place. This Pasadena location however, was something else. I will elaborate on our main issue. "The birthday star" was not acknowledged correctly during the Chuck E. Cheese show. First, the show was held toward the front of the room; my party was seated at the back. They ask that everyone stand up for the show; as my party is in the back of the room, obviously no one in my party could see the tiny 4 year old all the way up front. Next, the host presented my son as "birthday boy". This might be okay any other time but we are paying for a personal service so you'd think "the birthday star's" name would be know. Since my son was presented as "birthday boy" no one in my party knew my son was being "acknowledged" because again, NO ONE in my party IN THE BACK of the room could see my son. Consequently, no one cheered for my son. All that was there was a couple lousy, petty claps from random people of the party -in the front- of the room. On the other hand, that particular birthday star, which was seated up front, had a great experience. She got achknowledged by name, the host had her crowd chant her name, and there was singing for -her-. When it came time to cut the cake with Chuck E, again, there was only attention on the other girl up front. Our host had us sing to my son without chuck E and she even prepared to cut the cake right after. It wasn't until WE told her no. To wait and have Chuck E come over to our table as well and sing with him. This is also how it is advertised on the site and how we had it done last year: The cake cutting with Chuck E at our table. We awkwardly waited till the other girl got enough attention for my son to have his two minutes of sorry ass attention. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's total discrimination. My son should never have to go through this at such a young age! When no one cheered for him when "birthday Boy" was announced, he just looked over at me with a stare seeing and experiencing that the other girl had a much louder clap. He is four years old and confused. This is completely unacceptable. I've held parties before at Chuck E. Cheese, my mistake was choosing to host it this year at Pasadena. Never again will I ever even host it at any location. When we asked for management to make a complaint, it was a hassle. Obviously management will try and defend her team, but what happened to customer is always right? And it's clearly an issue that wasn't about who's right and who's wrong. Best she could do was give us a voucher for a free pizza and drinks. She also added that the host we were assigned is "soft spoken" so next time WE have to make sure we ask for a host that is more cheerful and loud if that's what we want...? Ok what???????? read more

Hadn't been there in years and took my son in yesterday just for fun. The place is now huge, and my son is old enough to enjoy many of the games. Overall a good experience, but can't say anything about their food, since we weren't hungry. Although, from the looks of it, I defiantly would not feed any of it to my child. I worked there many years ago, and regarded their food as the best for a kids place, but obviously not anymore. The pizzas looked bland, the salad bar looked messy and the employees were all much older than we were when I worked there and rather unhappy about being there. Very disappointed with the attitude of the employees, and while we bought drinks, and floor at the soda fountains was disgustingly sticky and dirty and hasn't been mopped since the night before. My daughter always wants to come here, this is definitely her favorite place.. this place changed so much since I used to come here as a kid.. it's only gotten better. The food is always great, for a little over 60$ It fed my family of 10.. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because quite a few machines we're either out of service or out of tickets, being how busy it was in the evening I would have hoped it would have been restocked before the end of the night. What a disappointment. I feel bad and stupid for spending $45, we went there at 2:45pm and were recommended to get the buffet for kids for $5.99, but weren't told that it will be over at 3:00. When we paid and went to get a slice of pizza, off pizzas were cold and there were no veggie or cheese pizza. When I spoke to the manager, he said sorry "I can't do anything about it", my kids went home hungry. Not yo mention that with this new card system machines malfunctions and charge 4-6 coins per game. I recently had my daughter's b'day in this chuck e cheese and I can't expect more, the b'day host is awesome, her name is jennifer, she immediately told us upon arriving not to hesitate to ask her if we need anything, the whole 2 hours was great, pizza was ok, salads were fresh and salads bar were well stocked almost at all times, it was on sunday evening on martin luther king's jr day, so it was very very crowded, but what can you expect, it's chuck e cheese on the weekend, oh well. took my nephew here on a saturday evening for nephew and auntie's night of fun! parking is easy. its located in a plaza with whole foods and a ralphs so parkings no problemo. my sister told me this is the cleaner of the chuck e cheeses in the area. once you get in, they stamp your hand, "everyone who comes together, leaves together". get in line asap since THEY TAKE FOOREEVERR. somehow it takes them 15 minutes per transaction, i have no idea why. inefficiencies galore. i finally get to the front of the line, place my order, and specifically ask, if i buy the souvenir cup, does that come with apple juice? i am answered with a very positive and assured, "yes! you can get anything at the fountain on the side". there is no apple juice on the side. i asked another worker and they said apple juice has to be purchased separately -.- so back into the 15 min line i go. the perk of making two transactions - you get to complete two surveys, and they'll give you whatever tickets are on the voucher. they literally never check up on you to see if you need any boxes or anything. prizes are a complete rip, like COMPLETE RIP, but i do understand that its all about the fun kids have so thats fine. just had to say it. pricey night, inefficient workers but 3 stars cause the kids love it. read more

I took my son here on a Wednesday afternoon and we had a blast. It wasn't crowded at all and we were able to play whatever games we wanted without having to wait. The pizza was crispy and really good. I chose the medium pizza and 2 drinks w/20 tokens for $20. Not a bad deal since it was just me and my son. This location is really clean, which I liked. The employees were friendly and helpful. I also like that the games are only 1 token to play. You won't burn through them so quickly which is nice. Where do I start...when we entered the guy stamping the security stamps was to busy on the walkie talkie finally after 5 minutes I asked if we could come in he told me to hold on. Once in, the only two token machines where broken. When I went to the register there was only one person helping people and she would just leave at times. Finally ten minutes later I was attended. I got tokens and ordered food. While we waited for food all the hand sanitizer dispensers were empty. BEWARE. The soap in their bathrooms is just water. It was really gross. I came today for my nieces birthday party . Never coming back again, more than half of the games and rides were out of service, the pizza was disgusting it looked and tasted like a cardboard box. And the worst part about it was that there was metal poles blocking two different entrances . So my sons stroller wouldn't fit through!! I had to literally carry his car seat over and then separately carry the stroller over as well just to get through!! I'm more than certain a bigger person wouldn't fit through. Sad. Chuck E. Cheese's has become my second home due to my little brothers ability to run around and have fun with me chasing behind him. Sadly I went on Sunday 12/2/18 and nearly all the smaller kids games were not working. His favorite ride, the horse one was down along with several others I just don't know the names of them and I don't want to spend paragraphs describing them. Many machines ate our credits without realizing it was down. We mentioned it to the poor ONE worker on the floor trying to fix all the machines that were down. He was so busy he forgot to give us the credits the machines took, no problem though I mean I have to refill the card anyway. It is just very sadly run. You spend a pretty little penny when you come here now not like the old days when everything was reasonably priced yet half the machines are down?! My brother loves this place though and until he outgrows it I'll have to continue to come back. Please work harder to ensure games, most of the games are actually in service so my hard earned money is actually spend on him being able to play. Also I would recommend eating before you get here. Food is mediocre at best and not worth the price. Salad bar is dirty, soda fountain is ever worse. I ordered a chicken nugget kid meal and the chicken was not up to par, it was literally half burnt. This was the worst horrible experience I have ever had at any Chuck E cheese. I had a scheduled birthday party 2 weeks in advance came here an hour before the party ordered additional food it is now two and a half hours and I still have yet to receive my food or anything.
