This is a very clean, large, and well staffed Chuck E. Cheese's. They had 2 games that didn't work and "ate our tokens". The staff replaced the tokens and gave us a few tickets. They also tended to those machines quickly which was nice, so no other guests would lose tokens. We usually just play the games at Chuck E. Cheese, because we are not fans of the food, but this time we ordered cheese bread which came out super fresh, hot, and cheesy. read more

Finally I know why all of the horror stories I have been told about this place. I have been coming here for years with my 3 grandsons who are now 6, 8 and 10 years old. We usually have to wait quite a while for our food and in general it was good food. Everybody tells us they feel for us when we mention that we were taking the boys to Chuck E. Cheese as they have had bad experiences every time they go. Well last night a Wednesday (7/11/18) when they were not very busy at all we waited 1 hour and 9 minutes to get one large pizza. We got concerned at 35 minutes and checked on it to just be told it is in the oven. Then after another 25 minutes my wife said can we just get our money back as we had to get going. They then told her it is ready and that they could prepare it to go and we said OK. Then 9 minutes later when we got the pizza it was already cold, totally dried out and black on the bottom like it had been cooked way to long. I think I will now join the large group that tells everybody to stay away from this Chuck E. Cheese. Maybe worth checking out another location as the kids really like the atmosphere. read more

Just hosted a birthday party for my son with over 100 guests at CEC for the first time. D'maurice, the manager sat down with me for an hour going over the details of my event a week prior. We discussed all the options and he gave us some ideas on packaging the food, beverages and unlimited play cards. This location is cleaner than most of the other CECs I've been to. D'maurice was on point making sure our party was taken care of and other guests who walked through the door during our meeting. I always admire those who acknowledge you even if they can't get to you right away. Jesus was assigned as our coordinator for the party and he did not disappoint. Our food came out fast, presentable and hot! We ordered a couple different sandwiches and they were nicely toasted. Jesus did a great job of hyping up our kids during cake time and my son was beyond happy. It was so nice after the event because Jesus and the staff at CEC cleaned up and helped us put our gifts aside. It was really nice for me to have time to greet every person who came to our event and personally thank them. Would definitely host future events here. Great job D'maurice and Jesus! read more

Please support local businesses during this time! These guys are great! My son wanted to have his birthday party at Chuck E Cheese with his classmates but that is on hold until "shelter in place" ends. I saw signs at Whole Foods that they are open for take-out pizza. I checked out the website and they have party packs!!! So I got the fun pack with 2 pizzas, goodie bag, and 800 tickets to redeem there later. Got an extra Caulipower gluten free Supreme pizza for the husband, and even got sodas to bring home. Pizzas were made quickly! Since we couldn't go to Chuck E Cheese, I was able to bring some Chuck E Cheese to my son for his 8th birthday. There is nobody there except take out orders, so you can definitely get 6 feet of separation. They are helpful and get you out quickly. The whole menu is available except for salad bar and fresh veg/fruit. They have appetizers available and even a buffalo wings special. Available with delivery service like Doordash and Grubhub. My cell phone was stolen at this restaurant. It was within feet of me when it happened. I take responsibility for turning my back on it momentarily, while attending to my son ... (still playing games solely because the food hadn't come in the hour after it was ordered). BUT ... That's not the reason I'm posting a complaint. I'm posting to share the staff's response when I sought help. (1) The worker said, and I quote, "Oh, that happens a lot here." (2) I asked if I might borrow a phone, to call my own. "Sorry. I don't have a phone for you." And then she walked away. (3) I followed her to the toy stand, and asked if they could make an announcement, including the promise of a no-questions-asked reward. The initial response, "We don't make announcements." (4) I searched the floor for 15 minutes -- and then returned to the front, to ask again. At last, a worker was told to make an announcement -- with zero effort made to get people to listen. In a video arcade full of screaming children, with nothing first quieted (and no mention of the reward, not that it matters), even I, the person who was listening for it, couldn't hear what was said. (5) I wandered the floor for another 30 minutes, to see if I could spy the phone peeking out of a pocket or purse, on a table, or even in someone's hand. I finally asked for help again. This time, the manager, seeing how upset I was, told me I should just have called the phone upon discovering it was missing. "I can't call my phone without a phone." He offered me his own phone, at which point I called (no success, of course) and text messaged myself a reward offer (no success, alas). (6) I finally gave up and left, with my very patient child in tow. We got food at a Carl's Jr. drive-thru. (7) I called them that night and again the following morning. No luck. No real sense that anyone was looking (except for perhaps the manager, who was very nice when he realized how upset I was ... I have to give them that). So ... Here are my takeaways. 1) The place is a hotbed for cell phone theft. 2) If you report a missing phone, they won't lift a finger to help you unless you grovel (and really will behave in a manner that communicates just how few sh_ts they have to give). They finally conceded a little, I think, because ... They don't really want a struggling, crying, single mom, standing with her six-year-old, at the front of a crowded restaurant -- upset not because she really cares about the phone, but because she was too busy to back up the thousands of photos she took of her child in the prior three months (including a first ever and very special trip to New York City) Okay, they didn't know the struggling, single mom part. But it shouldn't have mattered. I am a person -- a customer in their restaurant -- where crimes apparently happen on a regular basis. 3) Most of the people working there were unconcerned at the level of being actually mean. I'm a really nice person, and I was very nice when this happened. Upset, yes. But not harsh or yelling or unreasonable or anything bad. (I realize readers have no reason to believe this, but it's true. Candidly, I'm not sure I would have been as nice if my first grader wasn't with me. But he was, and I was really trying to keep it together given what I felt was a meaningful loss -- including financial costs now coming my way for the new phone.) How I was treated, after a theft took place in the store (even if my own inattention contributed to the possibility of that theft happening) was really, really, really offensive and upsetting. If I could give a negative star review I would, today my daughters school had a field trip here and they were not ready for us when we showed up then waisted more time arguing with the director of the school. The bathrooms had no soap, toilet paper or paper towels. The napkin dispensers on the tables were empty, the teachers had to walk around grabbing the ones that did have napkins so the 85 kids would have napkins when we ate. Then finally after 30 minutes of trying to keep the kids occupied they gave them tokens. Then brought out the pizza right away so by the time the kids were ready to eat the pizza was cold. Man oh man I'm pretty sure the school will have a different field trip next summer or just token play and eat elsewhere. And to top it off the staff was not friendly at all and Chuck E's head was 1/2 falling off and my daughter couldn't eat cause she was freaked out from that. Thanks but no thanks read more

The food is great I love it but my rating is based on customer service. This is the second time I've gone where I don't check my receipt and see I was charged for things I wasn't made aware of or asked for. The first time I didn't think anything of it, maybe a mistake, when I got a stuffed crust pizza I didn't ask for and then noticed I was charged $2 more. But this last time it happened again, and forgetting the first incident I didn't check my receipt. But why would I, I trust my servers and hope they follow my requests. This time again I get my pizza and it's stuffed crust which I got charged for without my permission. Then I get charged for the play card coil which I assumed just came with the card. Then when I got my order of food, aside from the pizza being wrong, I was given the wrong wings which was clear on my receipt. Then when I asked for it to be corrected, I got a cold order of wings. I tend to give the benefit of the doubt and second chances but this was disappointing. Now next time I come I'll check my receipt because I can't trust my servers apparently. Took my granddaughters here today for their birthdays. (3 & 5). So disappointed in what Chucke E Cheese is today. They games are not really games. You just throw a token in the slot and watch and see. Or one token gives you one chance. Which is ridiculous, because it make take you that one time to figure out the "game". Chucke was totally disappointing. No enthusiasm for the 5 minutes she spent with the kids. It was a joke as we sat and watched her mope away after her show. She showed more life after the show gossiping with her co- workers. 25 years ago my son used to kick and scream when we left. He LOVED Chucke. It was nothing for him to run up an hug Chucke. I booked a birthday party for my daughter this past weekend. Party was scheduled from 3-5pm. I had initially gotten there 30 minutes earlier to have everything ready for when 3 o clock came. Well the workers there thought otherwise. It was already 3:00pm and workers had not set anything up for her party. They had sat us at the tables in the front by the TV and later moved us to the back saying they got mixed up so had to move us(have in mind it was already 3 and nothing was set up.) Well we moved and finally they began setting up the table covers, plates, utensils around 3:30. My guests were waiting all this time. They finally brought us our food. After we finished eating I realized they hadn't brought my daughter her cape and tiara that I had originally chosen for her to wear for that day. There were other parties there and the other little girls had all their stuff already while my daughter was waiting and waiting until they finally brought her the items after letting the hostess know. It was almost 5:00 and the party host came around for the payment of the party. I had realized they again forgot and didn't bring the ice cream cups that I had ordered prior for all the kids. It was already too late to get them as my guests were leaving already. My daughter was then in line for her turn to get into the ticket blaster. As soon as it was her turn , the employees told me they had ran out of tickets so they send someone to the back to get more. Well that person never came. I complained to the manager and he spoke to the girl who was in charge of that and she simply said ,"oh I forgot." So he apologized and took us himself so my daughter could get in. Another little girl got in line behind us as we were waiting for her to get in. She was about 2 years older than my 2 year old daughter. After they both got out, the manager gave the other little girl the 1000 ticket coupon and didn't give my little one anything. It was only them two in line. My daughter was just there watching him. So I got angry, grabbed her, and left. I was truly disappointed in this Chuck e Cheeses as it had better reviews than all others near me. I will definitely not be going back or recommending as they were simply unorganized and unfair even after speaking to the manager himself. read more

This Chuck E. Cheese has got to be one of the biggest one around LA with the bumper cars and the whole thing. I was able to have a good time because, Jesse helped me with a good deal of 2 large pizzas, 4 drinks, and 120 play points for the deal of 56.99. To me this is a deal because I have 3 children's and they like to play games. But going back to Jesse he was like you have the option of either choosing form a marshmallow bar, stuffed crust or a Cotton candy. So since it's two pizza it's gives you to option. So I went with stuffed crust and cotton candy. It was the best. Keep up the good job. Will be back soon. read more

Whenever we come, the games are all in working order for the most part, except for on a slow day when maybe one or two are out of order. I've seen the ticket counting machine break down and/or eat up tickets more frequently than seeing games break. On busy days (weekends and school holidays), they could use more staff. Between bussing tables, working cashier and the prizes counter it seems like the staff they have isn't enough. You do see the managers walking around and helping out, but I think as far as cleanliness goes, there's more to be done. I have yet to see a clean salad bar. I don't recommend the food here and quite frankly you're better off eating next door at the Habit or heading to Whole Foods. With tax, a large cheese pizza comes out to $19.70 and it's honestly nothing to write home about. The wings aren't great either. I haven't had trouble finding parking, but you may have to walk around to find an available table inside. The last time I went, there were "reserved" signs on all of the tables and booths on the party side. read more

We took the kids here for the first time and all I have to say is that it is very ghetto. Chuckee E cheese isn't the same as when it used to be back in the days. There were alot of rude kids pushing the adults so they can play a game. The pizza was edible but cold and so were their buffalo wings. Food: surprisingly yummy! we ordered pizzas, party platter that included wings, bread sticks, fries & celery. pizzas were good ~ not too greasy. wings were a little on the small side. fries seemed a little under cooked, but my son still gobbled them up. first order of food took forever to come out though because they were also cooking for big group parties. games & facility: we spent most of the time in the small kids section, which was kept pretty clean. my son had a blast, even though some games were out of order. seating: make reservations or come early. we got to the place around noon on a Saturday and saved 3 booths for ourselves. worked out great for us since when we got there there was plenty of seating. It got pretty crowded after 1 pm. staff: pretty helpful in answering our questions. i wasnt aware the staff was supposed to clean off the tables. (??) there was a trash can in the corner so we cleared off our tables ourselves as we didnt want to leave a huge mess behind. overall value: worth it! had about 20 adults + 2 small kids and we spent about $250 total on food & tokens. (we used coupons) not too bad for 4 hours of fun for everyone. =) read more

I just had my daughters third birthday party here. I scheduled it for a Sat. at 10:00 am. They open at 10:00 but was courteous enough to let us in 15 min. Early to set up. This was my first time having a birthday party anywhere other than at home. I must say it won't be my last! It was easy to reserve a date and time and they called me twice in advance to confirm my party details. The host was very nice, and accommodated all my requests. The only downside was the cake and song is scheduled 45 min. into the party and if you have late comers like we did, they walked in during the cake cutting or shortly before. It wasn't the restaurants fault, they must keep the party going. I even told my guests to be prompt, but still had late comers. I like this location for the size and cleanliness. Staff was nice too. If you schedule your party at 10:00, you avoid the crowds and your guests can enjoy the games. read more

I would leave more stars because this location is better than our local one (eagle rock) & my one year old son loves the rides at this location. But today I expierenced worst customer service from the manager. I didn't get the name but he had long sort of curly hair. I work in the restaurant business myself. Ticket times for an appetizer is 10-12min & for your entree is 15-20min. I came here around 6 it wasn't busy & they only had 2 bigger parties. I ordered a med pizza & it took about an hour! I questioned him if the food normal takes that long he didn't give me an answer & no apology. He just said "I'm on number 68 right now". So as we waited some more I decided to take some of my moms salad on my plate just to munch on cause I was starving & my son was nibbling on some fruit. When he dropped off our pizza he said "you guys can't be doing that, you're going to have to throw those plates away". I know it's 7.99 per person for the salad bar but it was just a couple of bites. Maybe next time you guys shouldn't take an hr for a med pizza! read more

I have take my children to this establishment many of times. Although it gets crazy with all the kids there I have always thought it was a safe place. But this last time there was a suspicious individual there, a white male in his 50's badly groomed, with a long beard, smelled like a homeless, had on a backpack and was watching the kids with a really disturbing look . He made me nervous when I saw his nervous movements also. When I brought it up to management, they said he had entered the establishment by himself and they too were worried so they are keeping a close eye on him. I couldn't understand why they could not escort him out. He was not purchasing anything just watching the kids. Very creepy. I will never take my kids there again, I have not trust in the management's judgment. I would rather be safe than sorry. What a bad decision on the establishment's part. To make things worse, when I gathered my kids and left they did not follow through their protocol to check and see if the numbers on my kids arm and my arm matched as they stamp you when you first enter. Their system is not safe, and, it's only a matter of time before a child goes missing or gets hurt. read more

I ordered some food. One of the food items was an all you can eat salad bar. I added some left over mushrooms from the container the first time I served myself at the salad (I love mushrooms). The second time I went to the salad bar to serve myself again, there were no mushrooms at the salad bar anymore. I asked the manager that was in charge of the salad bar section, Are you bringing more mushrooms out soon? She replied no. That there would be no more mushroom for the day at the salad bar. I then spoke to the cashier Zach, asked him the same question re: mushrooms at the salad bar. He went and speak to the same lady that I had asked previously, she told him the same thing. I then asked the cashier, Zach, if I had ordered a pizza? Does that means you would not have any mushrooms available as a topping for the pizza? He replied, for the pizza yes, but for the salad bar no. My second serving portion of the salad was not good. I thought that was bad. As it was, the salad bar was already limited in items. Had I known they were not going to have more mushrooms or replace the other missing items I would not have ordered a salad bar. Manager said they could not do a refund, because I had served myself already once. read more

I've been coming to this location with the kids for about 15 years. I consider it the best CC of several in the San Gabriel Valley. But, there is plenty of room for improvement! On the plus side, the game selection is probably the best since it also has bumper cars for the kids. It is fairly roomy inside, with plenty of seating in two separate play areas. However there are many drawbacks as well, mostly in the customer service department. First, we had to wait several minutes for someone to come operate the bumper cars, despite the fact that the manager had called for an attendant three separate times. I ordered the lunch buffet which was supposed to begin at 11am. Yet at 11:30 my kids and I were still standing there waiting for food items to be put out! Probably the worst part of our most recent visit was a day later when I was notified by my credit card company that there was some suspicious activity on my card. Items had been purchased online from a couple of companies in Northern California, and Texas. Since I had only used that particular card once in the previous 3 weeks and at this location of Chucky Cheese, it was easy to determine where my credit card number was stolen! I called the location and notified the manager on duty. He said he would pass the information on to the manager who was on duty during the incident. That was it. No real effort to keep me as a customer. No apology for the breach of trust, or inconvenience. Not sure if we will return to this location again, even though my kids love it and always ask to go here. read more

Just brought the family here the other day and was a great experience! Very big and a lot of games for the kids to run around and play. Prices are a bit expensive for food, but the games are all a token which is great for the kids. Great service from the game attendant Tony. He helped us when the tickets weren't coming out or the game wasn't working and was actually happy to help us out. There was smiles on the other workers faces and was a friendly environment, which allowed us to have a great time for a couple hours. Highly recommend this place and will be coming here again soon! read more

I never write reviews but I had to this time. If you ever book a party on the WEEKEND just go visit them the exact time your having your event on another day and you will see what I am talking about. I just had my sons 2 year birthday at this chucky e cheese and it was so awful. First of all they told me I had a 2 hour reservation, so I assumed they make you leave after your time ends. When I walked in there was a sea of people, so you couldn't even walk through the place and there was trash all over the floors. They DON'T make earlier parties leave, so they have no time to clean up for the next party. My party that was at 5:30 pm was the only party reserved but the 3pm crowd never left. I just don't think that's fare for you to walk in and see such a sea of people and trash everywhere. The crowd was so rowdy they were even taking over our tables it was rude and annoying. If you have any class at all this is NOT the place for you. The only time I would recommend going would be during the week to have fun when it's not so busy. Yiikes!!! My family arrived at 6:30 on Wed. 6/1/16...what I would assume the "dinner rush hour". To our surprise, the entire restaurant was relatively empty so what I am about to report was certainly not due to a huge crush of people trying to get fed or play games ... not at all! After spending over $75.00 on just pizza, salad bar and tokens, one would assume the salad bar would be sparkling clean & completely filled with fresh salad items ... you guessed it...nothing further from the truth! The salad bar appeared to have been blown up ... nothing cleaned up or wiped down...dressing slopped everywhere, salad totally empty along with most of the toppings also empty! After standing and waiting for an employee to refill, a line now forming and waiting. Still no one ... anywhere! I walked into the kitchen area where I saw only 1 man cooking pizza and a young lady ... texting on her phone! I very nicely asked if she would refill the sad salad bar ... I went back to continue to wait ... she NEVER came out! Several other customers went to the cashier asking for service! Finally...30 min. later, it was that cashier who refilled the salad bar! Our pizza order arrived and hour after we ordered and totally the wrong pizza! We didn't receive our "re-make" until 5 min. before we had to leave! My son could not find any napkins or filled parmesian cheese anywhere in the restaurant! Wow...I don't know who was managing the place last night but it was very clear there was a total lack of interest from management and their employees! Oh, by the way...I drove 12 miles out of my way to get treated this way ... do you think I should take my money elsewhere? read more

This place used to rock a couple of year's ago. I attempted to use (3) different gift cards which all read as $0 balance, When that didn't make sense since they were new unused cards which I stated to the employee. So I had to use cash in the mean time. Took time to call the number on card to check balance after putting all valid info in the system says, visit online to check balance. Checked & $$$ was on each card. Went back to register told them each card has $$$on them. Clerk Swipe's balance still read $0,Let me tell the manager, the manager will call for balance 15 mins. or more later gift cards are able to be used in full. I ask so are the kids able to get any tickets for all this hassle. Clerk: I'm sorry. That's it!,horrible customer service. Then the 1st game my nephew plays doesn't give the 40 tickets owed. I tell clerk who opens the machine fumbles with machine & less than 10 tickets come out. That's all? Clerk:yes the counter is set & whatever it says comes out. Played this game for years prior & the winnings are 10 20 &50 and it's so easy. Don't believe I will spend any $$$ @ this establishment in the future. The only decent thing that happened was a stranger that was leaving says you want these tickets for your kids & hands me a little bit of tickets. read more
