I remember going to places like this when I was little I love taking family and seeing them play and have fun!!

This place is great for my six year old son. You can relax while they run around and play. And for $24 they get unlimited play pass for an hour. It's not busy right when they open up and the pizza is ok for the price. It's clean and the workers seem to enjoy working here. read more

Bravo chuckee cheese Twas finally Saturday night, and we decided to take young Grace to the local cheesy Chuck Upon arrival the anxiety slowly crept up, kids jumping everywhere, running, yelling, pushing....as mentioned earlier, twas a Saturday night. Totally expected. We placed our order and began the gaming. Princess was running around just like the rest of the little monsters Up down over under , chaos!!!! Staff did remarkable tho!!!! Amongst all the chaos, amongst the madness every employee was calm at all times and answering questions, and making sure to be as helpful as possible. Fabian at check in was pleasant, Christina also so professional and making sure to go above and beyond. A few more people that were part of our transaction just didn't catch their names. Wow, I know that this isn't a place that prides themselves on providing a top of the line experience, but come on! The prices at all Chuck-E-Cheese locations are going to be universal. It's nothing different or special. And, as far as I'm concerned, that isn't a problem as long as my little ones are having a good time. What I can't wrap my mind around are the employees. I'll give my latest experience (Feb 1, 2016) as an example: - from the time that I walked in with my wife and two daughters, we wanted to turn around and leave. The girl at the front who is "Kid Watch", I guess, gave a look to us that screamed "disgust" and she did not try to hide it. My daughter did not feel comfortable with her and was slow to give her wrist to the girl to get stamped, so she grabbed my daughter's wrist and turned it to move it the way she wanted. I'm what world is it ok to touch someone else's kid?!? - this same girl saw more people coming in, grunted and stated that there were too many of them (they were a family of five) and she stated that she did not want them to come in. Mind you, this was not at a super-busy Rush-hour. This was in the afternoon, and there were maybe ten customers in the entire establishment. - - Here is what REALLY bothered me: after that, I walked by the front area about six times. Of those six times, the front was being watched one time. I took pictures due to my frustration. I have ALL of the front staff at the ticket counter on their cell phones, one who appeared to be a supervisor. Another time I walked up, again, no one was watching the front. They were eating Cheetos with the cashier on their phones. If you're going to have a "kid safe" establishment, with someone to watch and make sure that kids leave with the same person that they came with, shouldn't this person actually be available to do their job? I saw two or three kids almost walk out before their parents stopped them. When we left, the girl did not even check out stamps! The same stamps she touched my daughter to apply turned out to be useless! Seriously, just take your kids to a playground. read more

One of the previous reviews was absolutely correct! I asked the staff several times when Chuck E. Cheese would make his debut. We arrived around 2:15pm, so he should have appeared at 2:30pm or so according to the sign. By the time 3:30pm rolled around and no sign of the mouse, I asked the staff again. He finally appeared at 3:45pm as we were leaving. No songs or excitement as the past review had said. However, on the positives, it is a great value for the food and games and kept us all well entertained for a couple of hours all for $40. The place was very clean and the games were good. They did sell beer but were out of wine for the adults. The salad bar reminded me of Pizza Hut and the pizza was decent. We would go back again but would not have the expectation to actually see a Chuck E. Cheese showing or show. read more

I have to say, Chuck E. Cheese has definitely improved since my last review!! They've upgraded a few of their little kids games, amped up staff to ensure everything runs smoothly, including cleaning up Chuck E. Cheese's dance...in other words no more throwing tickets at kids and calling it good... The management is new I believe and the difference is noticeable. The salad bar is always full and looks clean...their pizza is crispy, garlicky and always good. One criticism is that their family size sampler platter doesn't have enough in my opinion... On this last trip to play the day away with Taven, the manager offered us more tokens with a coupon he had, and even offered extra tickets if we filled out an online survey... Once completing the survey, the manager kept his word and gave us a receipt for tickets! I like the amount of effort he is putting into turning this place around! read more

Yes, I'm reviewing a Chuck E Cheese's (CEC's) No, don't judge me Came here with GF's Sister's Son for his birthday party. (side note: no I didn't drive 5 hours to go to CEC's, it was a birthday weekend since he wanted to play in the snow). So i've been to a few CEC's and this one ranks in about average with the rest of them. The only odd thing about this one was that they had CEC's employees walk around with "prize items" to try to sell you. Times must be tough for Mr Cheese that they have to try to make profit in this unusual way. That's all I wanted to point out in this review. Other than that it's your standard restaurant with a bizillion kids running around and there's always that one kid that isn't really playing the game but won't get up to let me play. meh. read more

We were very frustrated during our visit. We booked a party to start at 10am. I made sure to read all the fine print to be prepared for the event and to ensure there were no surprises. I was a little suspicious when I booked my reservation that there was no follow up confirmation call or email that provided a direct contact for questions specific to our reservation. All emails and links were generic links to the franchise website. When calling you are connected to a franchise phone tree that will give you a different number to then call the local facility directly. Still, I was unable to even get a hold of someone to ask questions. The facility is scheduled to open at 10am but our party booking and confirmation instructions said that we should plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to our reservation (see attached clip from my email confirmation.) So that's what I planned. I planned to use the time to blow up balloons and set up my decorations (like most children my child wanted a theme party.) Well, we arrive the morning of the party and we are told through a cracked door that the facility doesn't open until 10am. I explain that we have a party and planned to set up and check in as instructed in our party confirmation. The staff member then left to go check with the manager only to return and say that the manager says we cannot every the building until 10am... The manager never even came to talk to us. Instead, they left their teenage staff member to handle the situation. So as a result, we were left blowing up balloons and setting up our decorations as our guests arrived. It was an awful start to our party. I felt unprepared and disorganized. If you are looking for a cookie cutter generic party then sure go there but if you are looking for a pleasant less stressful party I would recommend you go somewhere else. Hopefully somewhere you can at least trust the information you are given upon booking your party. Long story, long, the party from there on went okay. Food took forever. The kids were desperate to play but were asked to wait at the table for the birthday song. Cake was served 15 minutes prior to the end of the party time. No time to even think about opening presents. We also had to hunt down the other half of our cake from the character stage where it was left after the party staff served the kids. The party was chaotic but that's pretty much to be expected from a place like Chuck E. Cheese. I did talk with a manager, who we watch arrive as we were waiting to enter the facility, I provided her with my feedback but I doubt anything will change. Just be aware. read more

Wow where can I start‍. Do not do your child's b-day here! We had a scheduled party from 530p-730p. Chuckee never came out once until we complained at 720p. The manager was super overwhelmed but was not good at dealing with customer situations. She got really snippy when we mentioned our issues. Also we ordered food and churros we never got them. They ruined the b-day party. And all the manager could say was I'm short staffed what would you like me to do... The manager had stated when she walked in for her shift to the other manager walked out and that she was already putting her 2 weeks notice in so she really didn't care. The bathrooms were terrible and gross. Some of us wanted the salad bar just like some of the other customers, it was empty and to the bottom and was never refilled. The poor girl at the register was doing the best she could ringing everybody up and everyone kept going up to her and complaining.- She handled herself well and was the best employee they had. It gets better- Honestly, the worst part about it was when I went to leave, I had came after my husband to the party. And he arrived at the party 1st with our 4 kids. I was taking my 2 youngest daughters home early and I never received a stamp to match them. The kid that checks the stamps and the numbers at the door to see if they match shined the light over my hand, and I told him I didn't have a stamp, he said that's OK I just pretend anyways. I get payed to stand here. I said that's good to know and horrifying that anybody can take my kids at any time. He laughed. so they're basically not safe in this establishment. With Reno being on the top for child sex trafficking I would highly recommend to never visit this location or watch your children very carefully. We will never visit this business ever again! And I would highly recommend for you to not. This experience wasn't just happening to us there was 2 other birthday parties that were just as disappointed and other people that were just there to have fun and spend some money that couldn't even get their food which they were in line waiting to complain behind us. They are extremely short staffed and have bad attitudes on top of it. go to round one instead much better to invest your money too. read more

This is a review of Chuck E Cheese from the birthday party aspect. I cannot attest to the food as I did not eat while I was there. My youngest turned 7 last week. My baby boy. It was a sad sad day for the mama. We talked about birthday parties and the more I thought about ten 7 year old boys running around my home, the more I craved an off site birthday party. I did some internet research and settled upon Chuck E Cheese's. I loved the fact that I was able to book my son's party on line. I was given 2 options. The regular party (11.99 per child) or the deluxe party (16.99 per child). I went with the regular. It included 2 pieces of pizza, 20 tokens, drinks, and use of the party area for 90 minutes (this was per child). In addition, the birthday boy received a balloon, a bank with 20 extra tokens, and a birthday crown with another 8 tokens. Since I booked on line I received an additional 20 tokens, and since I booked on a Sunday I received another 100 tokens! I was able to bring my own cupcakes as well so that was a plus! When we arrived 30 minutes early, we were escorted to our table by the manager and then promptly greeted by our party host Ashley. She was adorable and so attentive. She explained the time line of the party to us and sent us on our way. It seems to have been remodeled from the last time I was there (that was probably 6 years ago). It was clean, and not too crowded. We were there at noon on Superbowl Sunday. I was comfortable letting the kids wander since I could see them from pretty much anywhere and the staff was checking hand stamps on the people leaving. My son had a fantastic birthday and I was not stressed about kids running through my home! It was definitely worth the $140. I would have spent much more than that on food, decor, goodie bags, and time cleaning the house before and after (because lets face it we DO care what other parents think of our house) My other kids are a little too old for the big cheese, but my little guy may have a few more birthdays here in the future. read more

The salad bar is great, and they do have other menu offerings like sandwiches and appetizers. If you need a place to let the kids run off some energy, go. Don't listen to the haters. read more

We have been here twice. Both visits were fantastic. I had avoided Chuck E Cheese because I wasn't expecting such a positive experience. Seriously, try it and I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Lots of PROS: *Safety-The play area is totally enclosed and a security system is in place. I watch my kids closely but this really gives me peace of mind. *Clean. *Food: The food is not bad! Really, I was not expecting it to be edible for adults but it is totally not bad! The re-usable cup drink special is a fantastic deal. There is a good selection of fountain drinks. Free refills. *Rides/Games are all .25 . Plus, there is a play area that does not cost tokens. When it is time to redeem tickets, there is a nice selection of low ticket items. The kids are thrilled to trade their tickets for plastic bugs and the like. *Entertainment options for really little kids - there are a few rides for toddlers so they aren't left out of the fun. *Coupons: You can usually find a printable coupon on their website so check before going. CONS: Not much to mention. They could use more staff at the front counter. It gets a bit chaotic up there. They need at least two employees and there is usually only one. read more

Chuck E. Cheese where a kid can be a kid. When entering kid land there is a check in table with the rope you walk up to you. This I would say is one of my favorite things about this place. The host gives The child and the adult stamps that are invisible. This can only be seen under a black light. When leaving they use the blacklight to make sure the adult and the child have the same stamp. If they do not the child may not leave without adult. As for their food they serve pizza and a salad bar. Well that's the only things I have purchased from them. The pizza is priced fairly reasonable. Their salad bar is very reasonable. However the pizza is not the greatest. When purchasing food or even if you do not purchase food you can purchase a child cup. This is another great thing about Chuck E. Cheese, you can bring your Chuck E. Cheese cup back and get drinks for your little one without purchasing a whole new cup! Their games are excellent if you were on a budget. Every game in Chuck E cheese is usually one token. The kids can then get tickets or entertainment from each game. The only downfall is sometimes the machines go down and they either take your coins, don't give your tickets, or out of order. But I have rarely experienced this problem. The staff there are very nice. If something goes wrong like one of the games took your token and you did not get a chance to experience the game they will give you a token to replace that token. The only thing I have not experienced with Chuck E cheese is their birthday party packages. read more

Honestly this place is repulsive. Yes there is games and food for your kids and yourself but when everyone you go with gets food poisoning that's a different story. The group of both kids an adults I went with all left with there stomachs hurting and later lead to everyone puking other than myself. When we ordered our pizza and wings all the slices where different sizes as if it where a Frankenstein project because of that I just got a salad and guess what everyone who had the pizza or wings left sick. Fantastic toddler play! I have completely changed my mind about this place! My friend made me come here with our toddlers on a weekday and I went with great hesitation. My only other experience at this Chuck E Cheese's was maybe eight years ago for an 8 year old weekend birthday and it was crazy (kids screaming and running everywhere coupled with a giant mess). It was anything but when I took my toddler a couple weeks ago. Since older kids are in school, this is a great place for him to stretch his legs in a safe and secure environment. There were maybe five other small families in the whole place. It's very clean and quiet and the staff was very attentive. I spent $5 on tokens and my 2 year old played for hours. The food is maybe not so amazing but in line with any pizza chain and had a nice salad bar (our friends ordered food we tried). We brought our own packed lunch and no one seemed to care. The expansion makes it feel really roomy and there is a dedicated toddler area. This is a great option for parents looking to entertain little ones during the week. On an additional note: I was able to have my parents take my 2 year old here this morning (weekday). They are not in the best of health and can't run after him all the time. I've never been able to let my mom take him anywhere like the park or the Discovery Museum alone because she just can't keep up with him running around. When we were really hurting financially 2 years ago, we were still able to have a wonderful time at Chuck E Cheese because all games only cost one token and you can get really great pizza and token deals online. There is also a play place for the kids to horse around inside when they run out of tokens. So we have a lot of good memories at Chuck E Cheese and we plan to continue making more as long as my son likes having his birthdays there. read more

A day that he "a four year old" could do whatever he wanted to do. Out of all his things he likes to do he pick Chuck E. Cheese's. The place where a kid can be a kid and even an adult can too. We order pizza, the salad bar, and the family sampler. The food came out quick and the pizza was delicious. The sampler came with your choice of bone-in or boneless wings in three different flavors(we picked boneless bbq sauce), celery, cheesy bread, and French fries with three dipping sauces. This place is cool. Every game is $.25! You can keep your kids entertained on the cheap for quite a while. I would recommend staying away from the pizza, is really not that great at all. We usually just order a couple of salad bars and drinks. I really appreciate the precaution they take to make sure no one else leaves with your child. They stamp your hand and your child's and upon arrival. And they always check to make sure they match when you're leaving. Overall, it's a good place to let your child/children burn off some energy and have some fun without emptying your wallet. read more

Went there on a Wed afternoon/evening and as I walked in with my 4 year old an employee named Damien greeted us and stamped our hands. As we went thru the swinging door I asked him if the place took credit cards for games or tokens and he said "No!" Mind you I hadn't been to Chuck E Cheese's in about 15 years. So then I asked if there was an ATM there and he said "No!" I asked where the nearest ATM was and he said he didn't know, but probably the bank nearby. I asked if it was walkable (keep in mind my 4 year old was with me) and he said yes, that it was just a little ways down at the end of the shopping center. So I left to go find the bank. My son and I walked around in the parking lot for about 15 minutes and couldn't find the bank. We then ran into some folks that were in the exact same predicament as us that needed an ATM for Chuck E Cheese's. They informed me that the bank was quite a ways away and that it was better to drive. So I loaded my kid in the car and followed them to the bank. After hitting the ATM we blew another 15 minutes or so and as we returned and I could see that it was started to get a little busy. Damien let us back in and then I went to get some tokens with my crisp new $20 bill....and guess what? THE TOKEN MACHINES HAD SIGNS ON THEM SAYING THEY TAKE CREDIT CARDS!! So my trip to the bank was all for nothing!!!! WTF?!! At that point I wanted to punch that dude in the head or just leave and not give them my business...but the reason I stayed was that it was my kid's 1st trip there. The place was surprisingly clean and the games were cool and only about 25 cents each, although about 70% of the games are the type of games where you just feed tokens in and get minimal amounts of tickets. One of the games-'Ice Age' is the same game that we played at Circus Circus except they have it rigged to give out less tickets. The poor lady at the prize booth was inundated with kids climbing over the counter for prizes. The food is prepared well and decent, but quite overpriced! I think the salad bar is the best value. In the evening tons of kids arrive and start running all over. Kids are just being kids, but it's the parents that don't pay any attention to what's going on. Some little twerp of a kid kept pushing in front of other kids, including my kid and I told him to knock it off and asked where his parents were. He didn't respond and his parents never presented themselves. My kid had fun and that's truly what matters but we won't be going back any time soon. read more

Discriminatory practices, Surprise bill, won't get what you pay for, poor service. I was there at a family member's b'day party. All the white guests of the party were able to get food from the salad bar with no problem because it was part of the party package deal confirmed by the host who paid for it but when I, a black guest went to the salad bar, I was stopped and told I had to pay extra. Host didn't get everything promised in the package. I took my kids here a few years ago and got a surprise bill $70 over initial package deal amount. Expect disappointment. I know this place is totally meant for children, but the pizza is absolutely disgusting. My kids didn't even like it! So imagine how I felt! And the prices are way too expensive for what you get. Service was atrocious, took a long time to get our gross food and the employees weren't even really friendly. The selection of video games is also very small, my kids each had $20 and they got bored before they even used it all. And I know not to expect much from the toys from the prize counter, but the things my kids got ended up breaking within a few hours. Not to mention, we waited close to 30 minutes to get up to the counter so they could get their prizes. Honestly, if your kids want to play arcade games, go anywhere else. Reno has lots of arcades. The GSR has a great arcade with dozens more games that my kids actually enjoy playing. GSR also has a pizza place inside. So if your children want pizza and games, go somewhere like that, you'll have a much better experience. read more

I've always loved this place and was very happy to see the recent expansion to the facility. Love that everything is in working condition or quickly remedied when tickets are out. - ( A SATURDAY NIGHT ) Waited in line for 20 minutes for only 2 customers out of the 5 families in front of me to make purchases. By 30 minutes i just stepped out of line and used the kiosks to purchase game cards for my children who were very tired of waiting and wanted to get out there and play like the other kids. While waiting in line i noticed that NO one wears hair nets (which most of the employees were women with long hair) & about 3 at the time i noticed were restocking the salad bar ! i figured customer service wouldn't be so great being that there was only one lady at the register trying her best. Unfortunately will not return to this place , it's definitely not worth paying for ! Of course the kiddos would have a great time(2 stars for that). But the service here really bites ! read more

My 8yo loves this place, so we go every few months. Today we got the lunch buffet. The pizza goes very fast when it comes out, so you have to be close or keep waiting. This place was insane. My second experience here and if I didn't learn my lesson before, I sure hope I learn this time...I went on a Thursday Night to help celebrate my little nieces birthday. Just a small group of us went. The food is horrendous and expensive, but you get tokens with a meal deal thingy. But the parents that take their kids here must think this is a daycare center and let them run wild! The place is small and they jam pack the the games and rides in there. But one thing I thought was cool is that games are only a token instead of like 4 or 5. I can not say I will never return, because I am sure one of my friends or family will want to have their child's party there. I just know I will eat before hand. read more
