    Ribeye steak with Baked Potato

Went to Chuck's again this evening and the food and service was excellent. Our server Travis was awesome and attentive. I ordered the ribeye steak with crab cakes and we also had the lobster bites as an appetizer.

This is an old school steakhouse that has been around since the 1970s. It has that vibe and includes a salad bar and a cheese and cracker bar. Great drinks, steaks and fun atmosphere. It was slammed! Make a reservation and enjoy!

New York Strip with Baked Potato

My husband has been on a mission to find the place with the best steak. This was our first time at Chuck's. It had a very relaxed, hunting lodge kind of vibe. I loved the corner area lined with book shelves. Our waitress Bree was wonderful with great recommendations. They have areas set up with blocks of cheese, cheddar and pepper jack, and crackers for guests. I had the Salmon Filet with salad and baked potato. The filet was seasoned and cook perfectly. They have two salad bars setup for making your salad. Lots of options for salad items. The rolls were hot and delicious. My husband had the New York Strip. He asked for their blackening. He said it was good, but could not really taste the blackening. Debated 4 stars because of that. Everything else was really good. We got the Sea Salt Carmel Cheesecake to go. Thanks again to Bree for a great recommendation. It was so good!

Located off of main drag in the resort area. Not a ton of parking for the crowd this place brings in. Get there early. They do have several dining room areas and a bar, but it gets packed. They do have an outdoor bench area to wait and extremely limited space inside to wait. Nobody wants to wait outside in the heat so the inside area is very crammed and you are constantly moving to get out of the way of the salad bar and the servers. Service was good. Hostesses were friendly. Server very efficient and friendly. Didn't wait long for food at all. Got several drinks from the bar - beers, pomegranate martini (okay), and Luna coladas (delicious). Didn't order any apps and there's no bread service for the table, but it is included on the salad bar for those entrees that come with that option. Ordered steaks (filet & rib eye), prime rib, and several pork chops. Steaks were great and very tasty. Come with all the sides you can think of as add ons. They have several salad bars throughout the dining rooms. There's also fresh rolls and butter. Don't care what you do, order the pork chop. If you are scratching your head wondering why go to a steak place and order a chop... you can question that, but once you taste it you will understand. Had the brownie, strawberry cake (skip this - lacks strawberry flavor), and key lime pie. Key lime pie was great, and brownie was good. Great place that takes the time and effort to make their offerings delicious while providing terrific service. Was too engaged in the company and enjoying the food that totally bugged out in pics of the actual dishes. Will be back!

Update: We visited Chuck's twice this week. The first time I ordered their delicious ALL YOU CAN EAT salad bar. My husband ordered the Senior 8 ounce sirloin cooked rare with a baked potato. The steak was perfectly cooked. Service was good and ambiance was great as always. On our second visit, we we celebrating our anniversary. We helped ourselves to the salad bar, and as soon as we returned to the table, our dinner was out. They did apologize for bringing the food so early and offered us a dessert on the house. (Seems that they had a BUS LOAD of people and they put our order in front of theirs.) I ordered the Senior 8 ounce sirloin cooked rare. My husband ordered the Senior 1/3 of ribs. The BBQ sauce was very good but the ribs had a burnt taste.... I would not order ribs again. Our dessert was strawberry shortcake, and very good. Service was excellent during our meal. When presented with the check, it was over double what it should have been. Obviously, the wrong check but was corrected when it was brought to our waiter's attention. I always try to visit Chuck's when I'm nearby.

    Large multi level dining room

Came for dinner with friends, it was Kim and my first time here. It looked pretty standard and hoped it was not a fast food steak place like Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse. Once we got inside we were pleasantly surprised. It was a large bright open multilevel dining area. Rustic cabin like with huge wood beams. The section we sat in also had the walls decked out with books like a cozy home library. The service was relatively quick despite the place being packed and a line waiting to get in. I got a pulled pork sandwich and Kim got the salad bar and a bowl of lobster bisque (we were in a hurry to attend a local comedy club) Everything was very good and portions just right first us. We will definitely come back again to try the main entrees when we have more time to enjoy.

    Beautiful interior, great vibe!

I cannot believe we've been coming here for over 30 yrs and never came here until now. This place is amazing and I highly recommend it! 1. Ask for Devin as your server. #1 2. Get the salad bar. It's soooo good! 3. Pace yourself. It's a lot of food. 4. Before you start, get a starburst martini ladies! 5. Missing the gym? Guys, just order a big beer

Hi Everyone, If you…read morelive to eat as many my of my Italian friends do, Villa Romano's succulent fare, will put that curl in your hair. This restaurant was a surprise from our oh so friendly, engaging, interesting and very accomplished Accordion Virtuoso, Mike. To our very enthusiastic, lovely, patient, Server Berkley. To our food which was divine. To the "Old World" Italian environment, kinda like Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, without the human statues that move ever so slightly, but just enough to to make you feel, something is a miss, but what??? Man, that drove me crazy. Also, you want to go here to dine because their competing Restaurants in the area feel having you wait in very long, well over an hour and a half lines, just to get in satisfies their need not to take any reservations. Hun...? Yep, they're fine having Aunt Susie's makeup looking like Mark Shostrom, the Master Makeup Artist from the horror series "A Nightmare on Elm Street" movies, put it on for her. We all know also, because while we tried our best not looking at how Aunt Susie's makeup was contorting her face, it was like trying not to look at a car wreck. I even laid 7-5 odds that her false eyelashes would become a moustache, and won, while we all did exactly that to satisfy my beautatious date's Cousins' from Reno, fish wish, in Myrtle Beach. We stood in the lines outside, in the evening heat, at three different restaurants that we tried. Please remember to bring water, you'll feel better while you wait, wait, wait again, and then really wait, as if Mosses is going to appear from on high with the Ten Commandments. Instead it's, "Your table is ready" as you try to wake Grandma from her heat induced coma. While Villa Romano's bait, is to actually take your reservation and instead, have you relax on your tushy while having a cocktail in their comfortably A/C filled delightful ambience while you relive your day's perspective with friends and Family ("No, you missed it. First he...", ya know), while Mike fills the air with his sweet mellifluous musical notes floating by you for your audio pleasure, much like the feather in Forrest Gump. Their appetisers looked awesome however, this is an "Old World" Italian restaurant that offered their minestrone soup, and their Caesar salad which came with our meals, was very tasty, and paired very well with the bottle of wine from their varied, and well selected wine list, which we all shared. First, I read some of Villa Romania's great reviews on Yelp, before making a reservation, most especially, because I did not want anyone to have to repeat "THE LONG Lines" at our Fried Fish Palace, lol experience from two nights earlier. All of our entrees pictured below, were savoy, aroma enticing, tastebud thrilling, flavor forward, and exceeded all our sensory expectations which helped us all unwind while really enjoying our evening out together as it unexpectedly, evolved into an event for us all. While all their deserts sounded wonderful we were all completely full. But on our next visit, tiramisu, ice cream, and cannolis for all. So it's expensive, right? That is a great question Poindexter, but wrongo, my parsimonious friend. It was again, surprisingly affordable, and "I shall return" as General Douglas MacArthur once said. Why? Because sometimes you just can't find what will work for everyone, and that feels and tastes, just right. That's it! That is Villa Romana Restaurant, and we all were so gleeful and happy we discovered that fact in our visit to Myrtle Beach, SC. Manga... Enjoy!

I was a bit skeptical because we passed it a few times on our way to different places in town, and from the outside you couldn't tell that it served upscale cuisine. But it had great reviews so we took a chance. Ambience: The inside was dimly lit with an old school feel. Reminds you of an old school New York establishment from the 80's. I liked it. It had a welcoming feel and I noticed there were at least two regulars the staff greeted. Food: We ordered an appetizer of calamari and the short ribs. Additionally, I was going to get the salmon but they had a special of red snapper with lump crabmeat, green beans and rice. The food was delicious. The calamari was one of the best I have ever tasted. The addition of the fried peppers complimented the dish well. They were nicely fried and seasoned. Very light crust which I love. Sadly I didn't get a chance to taste the short ribs because I was just too enthralled in my dish. The snapper was perfection! Everything on the plate paired well together. Also, if you're not going for an alcoholic beverage, their freshly squeezed lemonade is so refreshing. Service: I'm truly bad about remembering names and as is my usual, I don't recall the name of the waitress, but she was truly attentive and nice. She was also knowledgeable about the food and patient. Truthfully, all the waitstaff seemed genuinely kind towards the patrons, which was nice. If I am ever in the Myrtle Beach area again I will definitely be going back. Loved it!

The food was incredible -- I had a filet mignon, green beans and mashed potatoes, and it was all perfectly cooked to order. My husband had short ribs and said they were wonderful. The meal was not cheap at all, but considering we spent $60 on a breakfast buffet somewhere else (and inflation in 2026,) we knew that was coming. Definitely the place to go to celebrate. It was an experience to remember!
