$-$$ Chute's is located in Windham, Maine, where I lived for many years, and now visit. The food is delicious and the staff is fabulous! This restaurant is quaint and clean and totally worth a visit. We arrived at Chute's about 9:30 in the morning and were seated almost immediately. Our server, Karsha, was amazing! She was very attentive, extremely kind, and our food came out piping hot and perfectly ordered. My girlfriend, Kathy, and I sat there for almost 2 hours, and no one seemed to care about the timeframe that we were occupying the table. I would certainly recommend this great breakfast/lunch place to anyone traveling through or staying in Windham. Safe travels!!

This was such a cute little family place! Definitely gave old school diner/cafe vibes. The waitlist is a good old fashioned hand written list and you need to stay nearby to get a table. We went on a Saturday morning and only had to wait about 20 mins for a party of three. The servers were super friendly although our server did not come over often enough. I would have wanted my coffee and water filled more than once. The food itself was tasty and delicious. The pancakes here are huge and so fluffy. I got an Irish Benedict which came with a side of home fries. It definitely hit the spot. Creamy hollandaise, perfectly poached eggs, and crispy home fries. I will say you get your bang for your buck here. The prices are unbeatable. It's a perfect spot for a cozy family breakfast or intimate breakfast date. The place is handicap accessible. There is one small bathroom but still handicap accessible. There is a parking lot with plenty of parking. I would definitely come back!

When looking for a solid, homemade breakfast. This is the place! I hadn't been here for a few years, but had a real hankering for something for brunch. They make a wonderful "hobo hash,"and I knew that's just what would hit the spot. Potato, broccoli, cheddar cheese and bacon - a great combo! The place is clean and well organized and the staff is so friendly. The food came quickly and freshly made... As it should be. There was more than enough, and I had some to take home for tomorrow. Home cooking at its best for a great price. Breakfast and brunch. Wonderful home baked goods too. A historical restaurant in the Sebago Lake region.

Home made hash, 2 eggs over lite and Great home fries.

Great breakfast cafe with good food But expect to wait 1/2 hour or more to be seated. Little to no room inside to wait, so in your car is fine with a call when ready to seat. They close at 1pm And serve lunch except on Sundays. The wait is worth waiting for the food.

This was the best restaurant we went to while visiting Maine! The interior is very cute and feels like stepping back in time to the 90s. The breads and pastries are all made fresh and so delicious. I tried the omelette with steak, peppers, and cream cheese and loved it. My husband loved the chutes country breakfast and the fresh baked goods. Love this place!! Highly recommend.

I go here almost everyday, the food is amazing and always hot. And the service is amazing some waitresses have been working here since I was a child. The atmosphere is so cozy and homey, I hope they never change!

Mmmmm I love this hash platter!!!

A friend had parked and a salon worker came out to inform her it was reserved parking. We arrived mid morning on a Sunday before "tourist season" and we were seated pretty quickly. As Jeff D mentioned - It's cozy in here. It's smaller dining area with a combination of low tops and high top tables. It only felt crowded once a large party of above average sized guys came in...I think they were 8 - They were football player sized guys, With that said, we were able to squeeze by them when we left. I had to get a table pancake (shared) based on the yelp photos and descriptions people had shared. It was fluffy and delicious. Was well cooked, not overcooked or undercooked. The breakfast plates are great. Yummy potatoes, next time, I am going to try the regular homefries. The bread....YUM...it's housemade!!! Great portions, great price and great service! When I'm in the area, during non-tourist season, I look forward to visiting again!

Open kitchen, you can see everything being made. You can see the ovens, and the bakers diligently working. The husband-and-wife owners and bakers were in house and working! Everything was perfect, the lamination on the croissants was beautiful, the variety and uniqueness of the foods was awesome, and the service was just awesome. The owner talked to us for a bit too (Billy?), I had so many questions. I felt bad I was taking him away from his staff, but just what an inviting place. There were a few tables, very intimate setting, very clean bathroom, plenty of parking out front and in back. Just all in all - YOU MUST STOP HERE. The bread looks phenomenal! Huge loaves! But they will cut them in half too for you. I will definitely be back!

It shares a parking lot with Yolked and is only open Thursday - Sunday. I went in on a Friday around 11am and almost everything was already sold out. I returned Sunday for a full loaf of sourdough and some pastries. The sourdough is big and beautiful, not too crusty, nicely hydrated loaf. The croissants were very tasty. But if I'm nitpicking, I think the ham and cheese could be improved if the ham inside steams rather than crisping - it gets rubbery and not that enjoyable to chew through. Fabulous neighborhood bakery. Definitely visit and support!

It seems to be a very popular place. The menu is pretty easy to read on the wall to your right as you walk in. it's pretty easy - you can choose a option from the wall and you can customize your burrito, quesadilla, nachos etc further when you get to the counter. I have never been to a chipotle, so I can't compare it. I love the fact that it's locally owned.
