I love chuys! The decor is so colorful and cool. We were sat near the bar area and I really enjoyed all the dog portraits! FYI if you bring in a framed picture of your pup you'll receive a free app! We ordered gauc, steak tacos, and the enchilada combo. The food was very tasty and well seasoned. Our waitress was also super friendly and very attentive. The prices are great too!

Discovered Chuy's recently and must say I was shocked about the interior. The place is so gorgeous. Whenever I want to travel I visit Chuy's because of its tropical vibes. The other nice thing is that the restaurant is super spacious each section has its own decor. Whenever I go, I order the Chuychanga (fried burrito) it costs around -$13 . It's tastes good . I always get their Tres Leches cake as well. It's really sweet and heavy so definitely save some space for it! -Costs around -$8. The service is REALLY QUICK! Definitely visit this place when you are want to travel but can't !

I love Chuys but they have to stop packing all this food into one bag. I went to pick up several dinners and a huge thing of spicy white sauce, bc I love it and use it on everything, and they crammed it all into one bag. When I got home, as I was walking to my front door the bottom of the bag broke and well, it ruined 100 bucks worth of food. This is the one place I look forward to getting food from when I can and it was ruined.

We were in the Short Pump area, and I had heard that Chuy's is an extension of the Austin-based Mexican restaurants that I had heard good things about. We decided to stop in for a quick lunch. They were busier than we anticipated for Friday at 2 in the afternoon. Then again, it's located in a busy shopping area and we came in on the last weekend before Christmas - so it was pretty crowded. We ordered and I'm pretty sure we got our food in less than 5 minutes! We chose the fajita combo. The flavors were for sure authentic. They marinate their fajita meat in Shiner Bock (a beer made in Texas), serranos, and spices - you can taste all of those in the steak and chicken for sure. Minus a star because our tortillas were cold and even a little hard on the edges, as if they'd been sitting in the container for some time. Other than that, we would definitely come back to try their tacos and beyond. Oh, and to buy more fun T-shirts :)

Really good Mexican food at affordable prices. Their kid's meal come with a drink and dessert, a huge hit with my kids. Their decoration is really unique, which makes for a fun ambiance, but service was so-so when we went. Overall a great place to get your Mexican craving filled.

Wife, kids, and I usually stop here on our way out of Richmond heading back towards the western part of the state. The service is generally quick and polite, the restaurant itself is neat with fun pictures, and the outdoor seating is very pleasant. I always get the enchiladas with some form of their sauces and it's always good.

Could use some work on their flavors. Nothing really mild there. Can't compare to Mexico Restaurant.

The "Traditional Enchiladas" are actually covered in a verde sauce. No Bueno. The burrito was much better. 4.5 /5 according to mi hijo.

    Ask the Community - Chuy's

Anyone know when they'll be going back to their original menu? My husband loves the chili rellenós and they haven't added it back.

Does anyone know if they have changed their fajita recipe? I find them spicy now which is not good for me due to acid reflux. I may have to find another place. Anyone know?

I don't think so but you can ask for them unmarinated/unseasoned if they are too spicy for your liking

The inside was decorated very on brand, but I thought it was quite loud inside. Granted, it is a Friday night. We sat outside and were greeted within a few minutes by our waitress. She was super friendly and helpful going over the menu for us since it was our first visit. I had a Thai Iced Tea which was delicious, but the straw I was given was too short for the glass they served it in. We ordered the crab Rangoon and bulgogi beef appetizers and thought they were delicious! For main courses, I ordered the Katsu Chicken Rice Bowl, my husband ordered the Pad Prik Pao and my husband's friend ordered the Crispy Chicken Fried Rice. We also ordered the Honey BBQ wings for the table. I thought the chicken in my bowl was really good, but the proportions of the bowl were interesting. It was essentially 5/6 rice and then 1/6 the chicken, seaweed salad, and other toppings (cabbage and tomatoes). It was such a deep bowl that I was left with copious amounts of rice at the end. The wings looked awesome but they were slathered in sauce and that was a little disappointing. Plus we could have used some wet wipes for them! The service was pretty slow which, again, Friday night.... But our server visited our table one time. Overall the food (for the most part) and atmosphere were great, but the service was just okay.

I had the braised beef short ribs, which were melt-in-your -mouth. Paired with garlic mashed potatoes, roasted root veg, and some of the best collard greens I've ever had. He had the fried chicken with hot honey, garlic mashed potatoes, and more collard greens. That fried chicken was so crispy and delicious. Had the peach cobbler bread pudding for dessert, and it was an EXPERIENCE. The only thing that would have made the meal better was some of the slab bacon, but we'll know to come for breakfast or lunch for that next time!

Farm and Oak has been on my list and I finally made it!…read more My husband and I wanted to have lunch out and picked Farm and Oak because we haven't visited this restaurant. They have a very limited menu at lunch so you have a few appetizers to choose from, a few salads and sandwiches and burgers, so straight up American food. It does skew southern with crab cake sandwich, pimento cheese and fried chicken. For an appetizer we decided to try the wings. They were good and came with ranch drizzled over the wings. For entrees my husband got their farm & oak burger with Cole slaw and I got their wedge salad with fried chicken. Both were good. The salad was nice and cold and crisp, which was appreciated on such a hot day. It did have too much dressing so next time I might ask for less dressing or have it on the side. I enjoyed the food, service was good and it is a pretty restaurant. I'll probably come back for supper some time to try some of their more in-depth meals.
