I revisited this place on June 5th. The waiters are always flustered but it's understandable when it's busy. Last time I had the worst experience I'm glad to see they've grown. I ordered the tomatillo enchiladas and they were amazing. The atmosphere is always beautiful with cute posters and paintings on the wall. I forgot my waiters name unfortunately but he was a dark skin male. He was the best. The wait time wasn't that long and the food was awesome. My family of 6 was very satisfied! I love this restaurant so much. Normally we go to the location in Conroe or even 249 but with us in the area we came to this location. We have never had any issues with any of the other locations. I went in while my husband was parking to grab a table. As soon as I sat down the server got us drinks and came back every two minutes or so to see if we were ready to order. Leaving us feeling really rushed. Then our food comes out and THERE IS A HAIR IN MY QUESADILLA! I call the manager over and she takes my food back and has them remake it. It took the server forever to refill our drinks. Finally my food comes back out (at this point my husband is almost done with his food (chicken was extra dry) and the shrimp in my quesadillas were still grey and one looked like they dropped it and it fell apart and they just stuck it on my plate. I am giving it two stars because at least we weren't charged for our meals but still after working a 12 hour shift and really wanting good food it was disappointing to not even get to eat my meal. read more

Don't know why people like Chuy's and it often has a wait line. Food isn't too good, everything is too spicy and just doesn't taste great. We went there on Friday, waited in line for 25 mins, then waited for food for another 30 mins. And meanwhile a waitress carrying a tray full of food KNOCKED OVER the chair where my 2 years old daughter was sitting. All she said was I was carrying a tray I didn't see her! Thanks God she didn't drop all those plates with food on my baby. And administrator just said that our daughter fell on her own and that waitress had nothing to do with it. That was an extremely bad experience, the personnel in this restaurant is horrible, they don't care about their customers and our family along with all our friends will never visit this place again! read more

Don't waste your time or money. Third time they have messed up our to-go order and was on hold for 15 minutes for a manager to no avail. To-go section is setup like a broom closet and they have to go up front to run your card. Precious time they ran out of table salsa - not sure how that happens at a Tex-Mex restaurant and this time they left out all side for fajitas for two, gave us the wrong salsa, and couldn't get a manager on the phone. Terrible management, untrained staff, and nothing like the one in Austin. Shame! read more

Disappointed in this location. Seems the kitchen is not run well. The kids beef tacos were filled with a greasy meat mixture of low quality. The chicken enchiladas were cold and the chicken was chewy and dry. The waiter was nice but seemed overwhelmed. This is one of the best chuys I have ever been to. So my friend and i came in yesterday and my sever Shameka was the best he greeted with a big smile and was very friendly. She asked me about my new years and was just so nice.. she got us so very good margaritas that she offered I think it was a rocking margarita.. she has very good team work her and Emily was helping each other out. I like to see that in restaurants because u don't see that very often. I just wanted to let yal know my friend and I enjoyed our time there and definitely will be back. read more

We are Texas transplants & have heard rave reviews of Chuy's. This was our first time at the chain & we are so confused. The jalapeño cream sauce was good. The chips were soaked in oil & all stuck together. The beans tasted like canned refried beans with some weird seasoning stirred in. The chicken in the boom boom enchilada was literally bland boiled chicken breast. The margarita was good & tasted fresh but that was the highlight of the meal. With so many great places closer to us (Ambriza & Mandi Cocina to name a few), there is no way we'd return. Our server was mediocre at best & forgot silverware even after we'd received our food & asked twice. I don't get the Chuy's love at all!! read more

Super excited that there's a new Chuys! But I have to say a few things. I know you guys just opened and everything and I totally understand everything about it. But it didn't really seem like the other Chuy locations, like friendly environment kind of way. 1. Food is great as always! 2. Service wasn't too good, our waiter seemed to have deer in the headlights the whole time we eat there. 3. I didn't really like the Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom the chicken had no flavor in it what so ever. Tasted like a boiled chicken. Didn't get the green onions, cilantro and lime juice on my plate which it is supposed to. The whole plate didn't really have flavor, just ate it cause I was hungry and it was the first time trying it. But don't get me wrong your food is perfect but not what I ate. 4. We waited 45 minutes for a table. Service was not good. Food was just ok. I was a bit disappointed.

I know this location is newly opened and that comes with all kinds of issues that have to be worked out, BUT if they want to keep business then they have a long way to go. Party of 5 - 4 adults and a child- told it would be about 45 minutes on a Sunday night at 6:30. 45 minutes come and go and my father in law checks on our table. Told there were 5 parties in front of us. 15 minutes later we check again- still have 5 parties in front of us. Hostess was unapologetic and blamed us for having such a big party. Not cool at all. 1 hour and 15 minutes of waiting just to be seated on the patio. The heaters, which made sitting outside in the cools temps bearable , shut off before our food arrived. It took asking 4 times to have them turned back on (at the end of our meal). Our server Dayna was great, but first impressions go along way. Food was ok. Would have been nice to eat it without shivering. There are too many choices in this area. Won't be back anytime soon. read more

Love Chuy's, we been driving to others for couple years to get my Chuy's fix.... So happy they have decided to open one in the Vintage. We visited this evening for dinner during rush hour. There were a few hiccups but nothing major, everyone running around like chickens trying to keep everyone happy, and good to see the manager get involved. We will definitely return very soon for the amazing food and wonderful atmosphere!!!!! read more

You know it is going to be bad when you are a table of 2 and you are seated in a section with three 6 tops and a 12 top. No waitress is going to spend time on the 2 top. And that was fully true. Took 15 minutes for anyone to come to take our drink order which thank GOD we ordered our food then because the waitress never came back. Our food came out quickly and it was delicious with a little spice but 45 minutes later no one had even asked if our bone dry glasses needed any liquid in them. Even though all waitresses had helped with all tables in our section except our table. Hope they don't spend that big tip all in one place. read more

We came with some friends to celebrate my 2 year anniversary with my husband. I went in knowing this was their first day open to the public and I expected it to be rough. I knew there would be a long wait for food and I knew mistakes would be made. I was completely wrong! We were quoted 15-20 minutes, for a party of 5, by a very sweet hostess with short hair. We were sat in that time frame. Our server was Mikael, I think, he was great. Food came out just as we ordered with ZERO mistakes which I thought was outstanding considering the new staff have to learn all the items and we made some substitutions. The gm even stopped by to see how everything was going. Of course we told him it was absolutely phenomenal. The girl who dropped our drinks off was super pleasant. The really tall male expo who delivered our food was nice. We enjoyed Great food, amazing service, wonderful people so all in all an amazing dinner to celebrate 2 fabulous years. I'll start off saying I've always loved chuys and that I was happy that they had one closer to my house. We had a crying 6 year old for a week because the wait times were crazy for a party of 6. Thinking it would be a little better on a Monday we decided to go. I'm so glad that they had the wait list feature online which helped cut out some of the wait time. Anyways, when we got seated all was fine. The waitress came by and took our drink orders. She didn't smile and wasn't too friendly but I just let it go. When she came later for our food orders still the same thing. Food came out with a runner and all was as expected. When the waitress finally came by 10 mins later I had to ask for ketchup for the kids fries and chicken and refills on their drinks. My husband commented to me that the waitress wasn't too great. I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt thinking she's probably tired and busy but it was only 7pm. When she came by again I asked her for 3 to go boxes and she asked if I wanted the check which I said yes. She brings me the boxes and the check and I had to ask her for the kids ice cream treats. Mind you I have never asked for them before at any of the other locations. I then had to ask her for a bag. Who brings you 3 to go boxes to a family of 6 without a bag to carry it in? After she gives me the bag she takes the credit card slip off the table and walks off to the next table trying to discreetly see how much I tipped her. I'm pretty disappointed not because of the food but more because of the service. read more

I've been going to Chuy's for years, so much in fact that I've never need a menu, and I'm almost always mistaken for staff as I'm in my Chuys T-shirt gear. Going to the Chuy's off of 290 was a pain - all the construction was ridiculous. To my excitement this one is 10 minutes away! The first time I went I expected it to be crowded since it's new, so I got my order to go. Got fajitas and enchiladas, took it home to find that my fajitas didn't come with any tortillas and my enchiladas weren't correct. I let it slide. Today I went with family to dine in, and before 11 there is a line out the door. We waited for 20 minutes, sat outside in gorgeous weather and enjoyed our time together. However, all of our food had something missing or something was wrong. Alexis, our server today, was very attentive and apologetic for the mistakes and fixed them immediately. My concern is the kitchen and ridiculous wait times - even for to go. Will give this Chuy's one more chance before returning to the one on 290 where my order is always correct and the staff is a bit friendlier. read more
