I went down to Bristol with some family looking for a bite to eat. We had heard about Cielito and been told we should try it out. And so we did. Walking inside the building the atmosphere was great. The decor was cultural and clean. As we took our orders our waiter was very friendly and answered all our questions. Right away came our chips and salsa which tasted great. I ordered the taco salad with steak. Our meal arrived in an orderly time and it was delicious. The steak was cooked perfect and the salad was great. The price for all the food was affordable. Overall I would definitely come back to Cielito Mexican restaurant. It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone in the area like for a nice bite to eat. This place is great! Don't judge a book by its cover. The outside is off putting, it looks like a painted gas station. (We almost left when we parked in the lot.)The inside is much prettier and their food is great. Lupita was our server and bartender, she is extremely friendly and makes the best drinks! My sister said it was the best bloody Maria she has ever had. This is an authentic Mexican restaurant, right down to the music coming from the kitchen. We will definitely be back! read more

I visited for the first time recently with a group of 6. We went later in the evening on a Saturday, so it was pretty busy, but we got excellent and fast service from our waitress. We ordered guacamole, I turned around to the table and no sooner had I when a lady came from behind to make it right at the table seconds later! It tasted so good too! The drinks were good with a nice selection. The food came out in good time and was delicious, though I'd love to try more dishes than what I got, so I need to go back again. The restaurant was also clean and new, very well designed. Unlike other places around, this was very new and very clean. I will definitely be back for more! read more

I still am amazed that such a fantastic non-American restaurant is so close to me and so far from a big city. The half dozen times I have eaten here, the food has arrived promptly and been soooo flavorful and beautifully presented. Guaranteed that I will eat ALL of the warm chips and fresh salsa they bring to the table (and ask for and receive more) and my mouth waters on the way there from just thinking about the chicken taquitos and table-side guacamole prepared fresh as you watch. You can even say "more jalapeños please" or "not too much lime juice" because they are making it just for you! Once I had the burger with the egg on it for lunch and though I had never heard of such a thing, it was juicy, cooked perfectly to the temp I asked for, and tasted just as I imagined from reading the menu description. Never thought I would be so happy about an over-medium egg on a burger... the creamy yolk added a whole new dimension and the spicy sauce on the bun gave an unexpected oomph. And the sides - the rice is flavorful and plentiful and the black beans are soooo smooth. I can't speak to the quality of bar drinks because the one time I had dinner I was the designated driver and the other times were work lunches. As another reviewer indicated, the restaurant is spotless (including the bathrooms) and the decor is pleasant. If you're a fan of sports, the many TVs (playing silently) show whatever is going on at the moment. (Not much, recently, for obvious reasons.) I don't go out often and the fact that I've gone here more than anywhere local except BHOP should be evidence enough of how much I like it! read more

Absolutely incredible! One of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to and tucked in the adorable town of Bristol, NH! The jalapeño margarita was amazing, table-side guacamole amazing, salsa fantastic, poblano tacos incredible! The service was also great! I live in Phoenix Arizona and happened to be visiting a friend in Bristol. He suggested this new Mexican food place just around the corner. I estimate in my life I've eaten Mexican food over 3000 times. Some at home, some at a typical chain place, a lot of small family owned places... needles to say there has been a lot of them. Ceilito's is at least in the top two if not the top place I have ever eaten Mexican food. We started off with the tableside made guacamole. It was absolutely perfect (and not a small amount either). I ordered the Molcajete on the advice of both our server and one of the owners. I was not disappointed. I live in a city with 4 million people and who would have thought the best Mexican food I have ever had is 3000 miles away in a tiny town in New Hampshire. Well done folks. read more

I live here in Bristol and can't say how lucky we are to have such fantastic, authentic Mexican food so near by. Been there maybe 10 tines since they opened and I have to say, the staff is ALWAYS very friendly and welcoming. Sometimes it's a little wait because sometimes they get really busy! If you're anywhere near Newfound Lake this is a place to go for a great meal. California Burrito is HUGE and tastes great. Salsa and guacamole are always fresh, fresh. Great chips. Full disclosure, I think that this place has the potential to be a great place, but I am rating purely on my own experience. It took an hour for us to get our food as we watched several other tables that arrived after us get their food and eat it before our waitress finally approached us to say that our food would only be 7-10 minutes. When we asked for a manager, instead of explaining what had happened, he just took responsibility and continued to explain that our food would be out shortly. All we were looking for was an explanation of why our food had taken so long. By the time our food had come out, we were not in a great mood anymore and they even messed up some of our orders. I would try it again, but I was really turned off by how long our food took and how the manager handled the whole situation. read more

I went there twice. Both times the food took over 30 minutes to arrive. The first time was decent, with a fantastic dessert. The second time I ordered food to go, and the meat was dry, tasteless, and all around bad. The calamari was supposed to have fried jalapeños and sauce, but there were no peppers and the sauce was a squirt at most. For three items it took 45 minutes, and to top it off there were two other people who ordered. It should not take that long for three items off the lunch special and appetizers. It was around lunch time so we stopped in for a small bite to eat...which turned into us ordering dinner and dessert. Wow! This place is phenomenal! My husband, brother and I had dinner there tonight and were blown away by the awesome staff - so friendly and engaging. The guys got a Mexican dark beer that they really enjoyed. I had a mojito. The waitress brought it to me and said the bar tender said it was the best mojito I will have ever had...he was right. We ordered the shrimp quesadillas for appetizer and could have just had that for a meal. Everything was bright, fresh and vibrant. Very awesome. I originally ordered the poblano soup as my meal but was disappointed to find out they didn't have any. Apparently only one person makes it and she wasn't there. Hopefully next time! So back to the menu to find something else. My brother had the diabla shrimp and my husband picked out a pulled pork dish. I finally decided on a pescada (fish). Everything was great. My husband felt the flavor on the pork could have been more assertive but otherwise enjoyed it. My fish was huge and loaded with veggies. My brother's shrimp was just spicy enough. And of course we had our arms twisted to order dessert. We went with the Mexican bread pudding. Rich and cinnamony with a sweet caramel sauce. Perfect for 3 people to share. All in all, this is a winner. If we lived closer I know we'd be back frequently. As it is, I'm thinking of moving here from New York just to get more of their food! read more

This is easily one of my all time favorite Mexican restaurants. The authentic cuisine is fabulous. Service is friendly and attentive and the drinks are amazing. This is our new "go to" when we want a night out or just don't feel like cooking. My favorite so far is the chimichangas and I love the Coco Loco! I always end my meal with with a Horchata Martini! Great food and great service. I have been there a total of four times and everytime was amazing.

This place has great food and presentation for a small New Hampshire Mexican restaurant. All of the food was delicious. The biggest problem with this restaurant was that they over sold everything. While the drinks are expensive, that isn't usually a factor in my recommendations. But more than twice we were sold items we didn't request. During our visit we received and were charged for table-side guacamole that we didn't order and when the pineapple habanero margarita was too spicy (be warned it is intensely spicy) they still charged us for it. The waiter pushed us to drink more all night on a Sunday night. Good place and great atmosphere, even good service, but be prepared to pay more than expected and do not expect any customer service treatment. read more
