The cookies are chewy which is my preferred textured instead of crunchy. The price is also reasonable. I've gotten the chocolate chip and the snickerdoodle. I wish there were other flavors though. I decided to check this place out while waiting for my daughter to complete her appointment across the street. The woman who came out to greet me was very nice and sweetly gave me a cookie for my daughter when I told her I was waiting for her to come out. The cupcake flavors are pretty nice. My family and I have been loyal Cinderella cake customers for the last 10 years. We have ordered no less than 23 cakes for all our three children for their birthdays and religious events. Since we live Tustin we would use the Costa Mesa Cinderlla store before it recently closed. For most of the time visiting that store we were helped by an experienced designer who would help design all our kids cakes. The cakes would end up coming out fantastic and i felt the money we paid for them was worth it. Unfortunately, the costa mesa designer/employee left the company and since then we have been helped by employees who would try their best but really had no idea what they were doing. Being loyal customers we kept coming back. Recently, we decided to go the south county Cinderalla cakes since we were told experienced designers would be there. So we went, but once again discovered inexperienced designers. When we had questions (on two incidents) for the actual cake designers who were working in the back, they would tell the employee in the front they didn't have time. We kinda knew at this point this company lacked customer service skills. Today, 10-25-25, we decided to drive down to the Anaheim Cinderella cakes (home base for them) where we were told they had their main designers and service to order my sons cake. I brought my 8 and 4 year old daughter with me but unfortunately my 8 year old had to urge to go the restroom. She could not hold it anymore and i asked politely if my daughter could use the employees restroom which i could see. Immediately we were told "sorry, we have no public restrooms." I pleaded with the employee that she was just a child and could not hold it and that we were their to order a cake and to make an exception. Once again they said no. I asked if they could ask a manager since I felt clearly someone with common sense would allow a child to use their restroom to quickly pee since clearly we were their to buy a cake. The Employee asked, and one minute later they said the manager said "no public restrooms, sorry." So you can imagine how a parent would feel after being a loyal customers for so many years and still coming back after seeing the company lose their ability to treat their customers right. So there i went running across their Parking lot with my two little ones to use the thai restaurant's bathroom who allowed my daughter to use their restroom without hesitation. I grabbed my kids, told my wife over the phone this was the last straw and drove off. This provably explains why they had to close their costa mesa store and reviews about how they get the wrong ingredients on wedding cakes wrong. The owner will tell you they have been in business for 80 years, but I know for a fact he's only been running a few months and looks like the wheels are already falling off. He bought the company for the family who owned it so that's why hell say they have been in business for 80 years. The good news is that we found a nice bakery in Tustin, which designed a nice compatible customer cake for my son for a much better price, and that treated us and my kids great. So do yourself a favor and go to a different bakery. They are not the same bakery from when they appeared on tv. read more

TL;DR save your money and stay away from Cinderella Cakes unless you want to disappoint your child and your guests. I wasted $450 for a small mediocre cake that had spiders and didn't follow the specs I provided. Earlier this year, I ordered a custom cake from Cinderella Cakes for my daughter's birthday party and boy was I disappointed with the results. I went to Cinderella Cakes thinking they were one of the best and I was willing to pay any price. I really wanted something to match my daughter's birthday party theme of Kuromi and friends (a Hello Kitty character) so as a designer myself, I spent a few hours creating a PowerPoint that had the specs: characters, colors, examples of other cakes I found, etc. The owner Timorie reviewed my specs and quoted me $420+ for a small cake which I agreed to thinking I'd get quality results. They confirmed they had everything they needed and understood the assignment. On the day of the party, I was running around so I sent someone to pick up the cake and when it arrived, I was disappointed and embarrassed that I let my daughter down. I hyped up the cake for days only to have something mediocre delivered. They really missed the mark and didn't follow any of the specifications I emailed them. The colors were wrong, they added creepy dark black spiderwebs all over the cake that aren't even part of the theme and their version of Kuromi and friends looked nothing like the characters. I paid a premium price for characters and cake art and the least they could have done is try just a little bit when everything was handed to them on a silver platter. The day after the party, I emailed the owner Timorie about how badly they failed and even sent her pictures which she ignored it. When I followed up two weeks later, she made up an excuse about how she replied to me but gave me the runaround about email problems and her email server. WTF! She didn't address the problem and never bothered to reach out again. Long story short, save your money and use another provider or just grab a cake from your local supermarket. It will at least taste better. read more
