I brought in my 2011 X5 (originally purchased CPO at Princeton BMW, now with 109k) for the airbag recall. I was advised that there was an additional drive shaft recall. I left 6 hours later and realized I had a problem with the drive train. I brought it back for additional diagnostics and was advised ($187 later) that there was a problem with the transfer case and a repair could cost in access of $3800. I was advised by the mechanic that the problem was totally unrelated to the recall repair even though the transfer case is attached to the drive shaft. I'm calling bulls$$t on this point. If your mechanic messed up the job, you should pay for the repair, not me. Wanting to elevate my complaint, I was given a telephone number to call at BMW NA and they've not called me back for several weeks now even though the case was "escalated". This is my fourth BMW and the first time I've ever felt screwed over by a dealership and BMW NA. It's probably time to look elsewhere for a brand and dealership that cares more about its customers. Updated... Many thanks to Bob Datri and Circle BMW for re-affirming my faith in BMW as the premier luxury car brand in the world. I took my keys back and I took my car to STS tire center they took 30 minutes compared to the 90 minutes that the BMW estimated . read more

I had my BMW X3 serviced today at Circle BMW in Eatontown. Robert Haydorn spoke to me on the phone before, during, and after the service. My car needed new brake pads and rotors. Robert was great. He was professional and very honest and fair. He had a loaner car ready when I arrived, and I was out of there within five minutes. When I returned the car and picked up my car, I, again, was out of there in five minutes. My repairs were done quickly, and I could not have asked for better service. Just a brief note to describe 2 experiences. The first, an aggravating, i would venture to say, moronic experience with a dealer who shall be nameless, other than they claim to be the BIGGEST MAZDA DEALERSHIP INTHE WORLD, The scenario is the typical tragic/comic one that anyone in the business knows all to well; I won't waste verbiage on it-the price wasn't the price, the deal wasn't the deal, the follow up calls & emails were insulting at best, profoundly ignorant and ritualistic at worst; these guys should still be wearing double knit polyester suits, and slap each other on the back. The 2nd was my time with Mr Frontero & Circle BMW. Low keyed, no hustle, the first price was the total price, no add ons, no b.s. When i came to pay and pick up, the car was detailed exactly as requested, bluetooth connected to my very non-smart phone, something I couldn't do even if I tried, and richard laughed at all my inane jokes, probably a personal or genetic failing on his part, but it surely made my day. A great guy, a pleasant experience, and even though I'm a member of the last generation of Jews who would never dream of buying a German car,(sorry, guys), I would highly refer anyone to the dealership who would, or anyone looking for a no-frills, straight forward by of a good used car. read more

I recently bought a pre-owned 750i and since its a bit expensive i came to this dealer to check it for me before i finalize the sale with my dealer (was not BMW dealer). They charged me $200 for the service and told me the windshield bump need to be replaced, i asked how much would it cost so do it while is there no one gave an answer, i called and left few voicemail no one got back to me, so i decided to go to freehold BMW (im glad i did) it was not the bump, it was something with the hose that lead to the wipers. They are nice but they dont follow up with u, i guess they lost a customer. read more

I've been servicing my car here for two years, but have not purchased a vehicle here... yet! Most all BMW dealers are upscale, and so is Circle. They offer a loaner car for just about any service, even though I didn't purchase here, which not every dealer offers. If you want to wait while your car is serviced, they have several customer lounges to wait in, with great coffee choices on offer. They also have a computer lounge waiting area and even a small gym (!) with several pieces of cardio equipment, so you can get your cardio on while waiting for a vehicle. Yes, service is expensive, but it's extremely high-quality, guaranteed, with fantastic customer service. For things like tires, they will price match other vendors, if you feel like calling around to try to save a few bucks. Well worth the price, and always a pleasant experience with the staff and the facility when I come here. read more

So it's about 2 years later , about 12000 miles have passed its time for an oil change and a once over of my low mileage BMW. First of all I was greeted by a legend, a Mr Pete Squires a legendary former Olympic & world class runner. He noticed a sticker on my car and we engaged in some real uplifting ( for me) talk about how after I get finished with some major health issues he would be there for me. I was flabbergasted. What a gentleman. The service advisor was very welcoming as well and promptly applied coupons to help reduce the price for my needed services. After washing my car and returning it to me like new, I was given a detailed 6 page document that explained some up coming maintenance complete with pictures that I should anticipate in the future. No hard sell, no panicked delivery of up selling just a detailed summary of what I should anticipate ( gives me time to budget) . Thanks this is greatly appreciated. Hate surprises. None today. Do I look forward to going to get my car serviced ? Hell no but Circle BMW certainly makes it less painful. read more

Ouch. What a shame. Such a beautiful dealership .. And? I walked in saying "I would like to get this car" .. "It's the 5th time I look at this car"... and the salesman couldn't care less. I told him exactly what model and optionals I wanted and after looking in his computer for 2 minutes he simply told me "sorry we don't have it". That's it. Let me walk out. Really?? They should really go see how they treat customers at the Porsche dealership to learn a thing or two about customer service and how to deal with someone that wants to buy a car. Its about two years since my review and while I was happy with my sales representative, the Certified Pre Owned vehicle I purchased cost much more than I anticipated to maintain and it spent too much time in the service center. Sold it at a loss due to my fear of what the next lurking issue was. $400+ for a spark plug change? I respect that the car is a performance car but $400 is steep for four spark plugs. Apparently the car requires two hours of labor to get to the plugs. As far as repairs, within a year and a half my CPO car needed new brakes, radio needed repair three times, engine heat sensor repair, variable valve timing system and others. Disappointed that I paid more for what I considered a better used car. read more

When your ultimate driving machine can't drive car it no fun. Fortunately the staff at Circle BMW service department are amazing. In particular, my service advisor Bryan Raiken, is knowledgeable, polite, respectful, and most importantly effective at getting your car turned around in a minimum amount of time. The entire experience starts when you drive into their service bay and are greeted by the staff who start the process. Your next step is to meet with a service advisor, Bryan in my case. You can explain to him the most obscure sound or issue and he will either know what the problem right off the bat or ask intelligent and pointed questions to assist in any initial diagnosis. Bryan will also look up to determine if any services or do and suggest them. Unlike other dealerships this is not a hard sell to increase the bill. This has saved me the hassle of a second trip to the shop. His suggestions are always been right on target. Once Bryan has written up the service order he will pass you to the department, just three feet from his desk, that will get you into a loaner car. While they have your car you will receive either a text or a phone call as the work is completed. Once you arrive to pick up the vehicle, Bryan will most probably run through the work that was done if he had not informed you over the phone. Overall I am extremely satisfied, hence the five stars, with the service I received at Circle BMW. I would also recommend Circle BMW to any BMW owners that need work done read more
