I was searching for a specific BMW X3 vehicle which I found at Circle BMW. I had a nasty sales person which I was not happy with. Not helpful and rude!! I have not been treated in such a manner when going to purchase anything so expensive. If I could have done it again I would have walked away just based on my experience. Purchased my vehicle against my better judgment. The salesman didn't show us how to work anything in the vehicle and could careless. In addition, the interior was not clean enough. Detailing should have been better. And three months later I took it in for service at BMW of Bloomfield NJ. They found several issues including leakages in my vehicle. I was looking for an American-made car for months as my lease was nearing maturity; and stopped in to Circle BMW on a whim, just to look. Was immediately greeted by smiling helpful women who immediately had a sales professional to help me within seconds. No pressure; told him I was undecided and looking. I honestly dont know why so many people gave good reviews, they must be friends or told to review. Anyways if you want the truth about circle bmw here it is: I have been dealing with circle bmw for 10 years now and I know majority of the people who work there. I can say that their service department is great, I have nothing bad to say about the service department its actually the sales department. The salesman at circle bmw are absolutely horrible. They have fake manners and put on the face but when in fact they do not understand the concept of customer satisfaction. To prove this I can tell you that in my 10 year relationship I was never able to make a deal to get a car from circle bmw because they are just impossible and obnoxious. However, that did not stop me from owning bmws. I have owned 6-7 cars all bmws and none of them from circle bmw. So just to show my point is that circle bmw haopens to be the most conveneint as in location but every 2-3 years I go in and try to purchase another car I just am proven right and disappointed. I chose to write a review now after 10 years because I came in the other week looking to purchase almost 300,000 dollars worth in cars. An x5 M bmw and the new i8. Someone who is coming in to spend that much money deserves at least the minimal respect. I finally asked to speak to the sales manager Richard Frontero and then thats when I learned what was going on. Richard the manager himself could not even give me a second of his time and was extremley rude about it also. Now we know where all the salesman learn there manners from. Anyways I wanted to share and give a truthful honest review from somone who has 10 years of experience with this dealership rather than a person who came in bought a car and was told to leave a 5 star review. First off, I'd like to thank Cliff for helping me with my purchase of a pre-owned 428i. He was very patient with me the whole entire time and have been extremely helpful. He's not like any other sales person you see at the other dealership. Cliff is willing to listen to my needs and custom tailor everything to make my purchase easy and simple. I honestly have not seen another sales person like that, someone who can make you feel so comfortable working with him. There's absolutely no mind-games or shady act during the whole process. I so wanted to like this dealer, so convenient to work for service appointments. This was my third time taking my 2013 BMW here and my last. Tuesday morning dropped off the car, (to check high idle, get regular service, and airbag recall) an hour to get a "rental" car because they were out of loaners. The rental was the worst car you could possible give to a BMW owner! The side view mirror was taped on - yes taped on, so it rattled when you drove, however, that wasn't the worst, the smell alone in the car was as if someone smoked 10 packs of cigarettes before I got in. The mirrors, windows, seats, all were just gross. I felt like I needed a shower when I got to work. Tuesday night, car wasn't ready, said parts were on order and needed for one more day. I told them about the rental car and they basically said I needed to take it back to the rental place (out of my way) and exchange. When I arrived at the rental (serious bad area too), only car left was an SUV and the smell inside that car was even worse, big time chemicals, like someone went crazy with the lemon pledge and 409, the front window was so hazed over you could barely see out of the window. They were closing in 5 minutes, so I had no choice but to take it, I live 40 miles from there, so it's not like I could take a cab home. Drove all the way up the GSP with all four windows open and the front end pulling to the right - oh so much fun and so safe, right!. Next day, the chemical smell was gone, but now replaced by the pungent smell of dirty diapers - oh just lovely at 8am. Wednesday 3pm was told my car was still not ready and wouldn't be for two more days, when asked why, I was told "we just didn't get to it yet and are swamped with cars", I said I made this appointment two weeks ago, do you know how ridiculous that sounds? They said they won't get to it and there is nothing they or I could do and I would just have to keep the rental. I reminded them again about how unhappy I was with the rental but again was told there is nothing they could do. I requested my car back, and then promptly called BMW USA to put in a complaint. Two days suffering for nothing. Don't waste your time coming here, because one day you may end up in that same rental. read more

I had the privilege of dealing with a few great people today at circle BMW. I went shopping for a new car for my wife. I went into circle BMW and was immediately greeted by the salesman Antonio. Antonio provided my wife and I with the easiest most comfortable experience. Not only did this young man make us feel welcomed he made it his business to make us feel as if we were friends for many years. The managers Sal and Greg also went above and beyond as Antonio did to make this purchase as easy and as smooth as possible. I have owned and or leased at least 20 cars in my life, but never have I had the experience I had today. I will be sure to tell all my friends and family. I went to this dealership to get oil for My M5. Service guy was rude and not pleasant (bald older guy) ask him if I can get 1 quart since my oil is almost close to the line where it will need a qt. he as if i bought car to them, I said the car is a 2013 with full warranty till 100,000 miles on everything I need is just one qt jst in case my oil light pops out. Had to go inside to find out. Spoke to parts guy (long hair guy) very pleasant too care of my request. As I was coming out to my M5 car is parked right on the service garage as i was coming out notice there was a car blocking both Direction gng in and out infront of me, i try to back up bald guy comes out and said dont back up!!!! Squeeze in between cars!!!! Like are you serious this is the quality and atitude that that a dealer promotes with their potential clients/customer. Very unprofessional specially me owning a Business i would tolerate this type of character and approach to customers. I WOULD NEVER!!! Recommend this dealer to anyone. Which i got full warranty till 100k on maintenance and cpo when i bought the car at 1700miles. I do preventative before it happens usual scenario is i go to dealer they run my vin and here you go ill top off your oil and here is another qt xtra we both know these type of cars consume oil every 1k miles or less. I ask if he can top off my oil, he said if I ddint buy the car at their dealer he cant help me. I have to talk to service. I dont care about the $15 oil qt its the principle of being in the Business and taking care of them and speaking to them with the pleasure of possibly returning just because service was pleasant. Poor Service Department Experience I brought my 2003 X5 to Circle BMW for diagnosis of a problem with the central locking system which developed after I had a dead battery. The locking system only worked with the key in the lock, but not with the remote or the lock button in the vehicle. After waiting for 2 hours, I was told by Service Advisor Brian R. that the mechanic (Lance C.) could not figure out the problem and he needed an additional 3 hours of diagnosis time. I had expected the expert BMW mechanics to have figured out the problem after 2 hours of inspection (total cost $203.25). Making things worse, Bryan told me of unrelated problems with a leaky engine valve ($485) and torn bushings ($635). So apparently the 2 hours I paid for were used to inspect other parts of the car and not to diagnose the problem I originally asked them to look at. I paid the bill and went home. After 5 minutes researching the problem online, the lock problem is apparently a very common BMW problem that develops after a full battery drain. The GM3 (general module) malfunctions after such a drain and need to be repaired or replaced. I found a site (bmwgm5.com) that would perform the GM3 repair for $130. The site included directions for removal and I sent it for repair. 4 days later it was back in my hand and I reinstalled it. The GM3 repair solved the problems. So how is this specific lock problem so well-known I solved it in 5 minutes of Google research, while the BMW "experts" could not do so in 2 hours? Based on this experience, I do not recommend Circle BMW for service. read more

Coming out of a lease with my Mercedes next month so I have been looking to lease a BMW X1 suv. I found a nice one online for the options I was looking for at 3 dealerships in the area. Circle bmw was one of them. I called one dealership and got a decent decent offer, I then decided to give circle a try to see if they can beat or match the deal and would lease from them instead. Called circle and gave them all my preferences and what I was looking for, and that I can do the deal that same day. Though they were nice, they didn't meet the other dealerships' price at first and said that I would get a call back which is fine. Got a call back a few hours later and they wanted to see my offer from the other dealer and can match it. I agreed and was told again they will call me back again. No return call. So I called them back and was told they 'will get back to me within a few minutes'.... That was 6 days ago. Business doing so well at circle bmw that you don't need anymore of it? If that's the level of service only based on making an easy lease deal over the phone then I suggest you steer clear. read more

Be aware of the Bad sales guy you meet when you first walk in. No knowledge of the vehicles they are selling. I was already set on the vehicle i was getting and sold based on the price on my knowledge of the vehicle. Sales Rep made numerous mistake during the process, I've dealt with many sales rep before and he was by far the worse. So i would not recommend seeing him. This dealership took my down payment on a car and then tried to get me to sign a purchase order for more than we agreed upon. So when I called them out on it they took my money and sold the car to someone else. The General Manager Barry Lamb is the one that told me that they were sorry and that it happened before I put the money down. I was going to leave this alone once I finally got my money back, but that was two weeks ago and now the car is still for sale at the dealership with a higher price tag on it. They did not want to deal with me since I am a deployed soldier and wasn't about to let them rip me off. I am sure they will say this never happened, like all the other negative reviews on this dealership. The fact is I did this all over email and have records of the entire process, from when there receptionist Jessica Ehlers failed to send me the information that I asked for, or set me up with a sales person for 4 days to the sales person Clifford Neubart who quoted me an out the door price and then tried to nickel and dime the price back up to well over what we had agreed upon. It is kind of funny that they did this to me seeming that I had a preapproved loan through USAA for over 10,000 more than what they were asking for the car. I hope they never sell that car, and I found another vehicle elsewhere with better options for less money. Shop elsewhere if you don't want to get screwed. read more
