A hidden gem of a restaurant and incredibly deserving of five stars. If I could give them more stars, I would. Upon walking in I was greeted by a kind and attentive server. She immediately brought me water and a menu. She also graciously answered my questions on different soup bases and ensured my glass of ice cold water was refilled consistently throughout the meal. I ended up ordering the agedashi tofu appetizer and the soft shell crab udon for my entree. The tofu appetizer was a perfect way to start off my meal - lightly fried, and served with delicious sauce. My entree came shortly after. The noodles were cooked to perfection, the portion was well worth the price, and the soft shell crab packed the entire dish with flavor. The interior is cozy and they have limited seating. I'm excited to return and try all the other udon options!

If you want enjoy authentic Japanese food, you will love circle noodle. When I saw the reviews, I was a bit swayed but wanted to try this place anyways since I truly enjoy circle sushi and circle sushi h. The food did not disappoint. The agedashi tofu's broth was so flavorful and the tofu batter was new. The tofu's texture was good. The shrimp tempura was so good. The quality of the shrimp is good. The broth for the udon was light, yet VERY flavorful. The beef was super tender. The ambiance is very cozy and the service was fast considering we were first. If you are in the area and are looking for yummy lunch please go here. Next time we will come in again and order more tempura bc it's so addicting!

Este lugar me hace sentir como en casa de mi abuela, la comida,el ambiente del lugar y el servicio al cliente son cosas muy importantes las cuales ellos tienen.

Back again for lunch. It did not disappoint! We got the udon with assorted vegetables and gyoza.

We had high hopes for Circle Noodle. The Zenbu Udon, which comes with everything, looked kinda meh. It came with a bunch of different types of karaage, which were a bit bland and not worth it. The udon was bland as well. They were understaffed, which made ordering and getting our food take a long time. For the two of us, it took over an hour to order and eat our food. I'd stick with their more traditional udon noodles rather than their karaage ones.

Cozy hidden Japanese udon restaurant in Roswell. At first I thought it was something like Marugame udon but it's not. They offer more than the traditional udon, but fusion dishes. Love the cold Bukkake udon in Japanese styles. This one is very refreshing and comforting especially in the summer. Cold udon just done right, cold and chewy. Pescatore is a modern fusion Italian seafood udon. Interesting but I guess it's my least favor. The homemade tomato sauce can be a little thicker and umami to bring out the flavor. Also the udon is overcooked, it became too soft and loose the al dente. Assorted tempuras are standard. I like all assorted vegetables and shrimp tempuras. Purple Kari Kari gyozas are something not so usual. Purple cabbage with ground pork, nicely wrapped and fried.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The food was well balanced and cooked properly. Unless you are familiar with Japanese or Japanese fusion cuisine, this place may seem bland or just "okay"...but then all Japanese cuisine should be boring to you. Their dishes are about balance and simplicity of flavors. Proper cooking/prepping techniques...Nothing will be overly salted or packed full of spices and heat...you're not going to leave overly stuffed and needing a nap. That is the point of the cuisine-balance and attention to details. The place was clean and wait staff was attentive. The AC was not able to keep up with the heat of the day and all the heat from cooking-that was my only negative about the place. The Tempura was crispy and the batter was super light. Shrimp and crab were fresh-not briny at all. The okra was our favorite, but the squash and eggplant weren't too far behind. Kakuni Udon-The pork belly is braised until it basically falls apart, the broth is slightly smokey and slightly sweet...noodles were cooked perfectly. Pescatore-All of the seafood was fresh, the sauce was light but packed with flavor. Veggies were tender and soaked up the broth...This was probably my favorite dish in terms of flavor and variety over the course of eating it. Zenbu Udon-Simple and understated. This dish isn't going to wow you or punch you in the face with flavor. The ingredients are as they should be, so if you are looking for a break from all the spice and heat and just want to enjoy simplicity-this is your udon. Dumplings were cooked properly and the chili oil that came along side it was not a variety I'd had before, but ended up getting more and ate it with everything else. This veggie dumpling was a nice break from the meat filled dumplings we are so used to eating. Little on the plain side-but I enjoyed them.

Def was worth the trek for us from ITP for some solid udon. Reminds me of udon from Japan actually! -Purple Kari Kari Gyoza: really unique and on the soft side on the inside -Zaru Inaniwa Udon: perfect dish for the summer! The Inaniwa udon was a great texture, consistency, and thinness! -Assorted tempura: solid, standard tempura -Niku udon: this was a huge portion! Beef was tender and the flavor was clean

***FOOD: Great Food. Tasty & Different. Soft Shell Crab-absolutely amazing, Chicken Cutlet Don (Oyako Don)- just the way I remember it when I was young juicy chicken over rice with sauce & mixed in egg major comfort food moment, zenbu-delish, purple kari kari gyoza - this was a little different for us but it was good-ok, hanjuku tomago tempura - so light and mouthwateringly good ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $ $ mains from $12-16 Ok cost ***DÉCOR: wood everywhere, very japanese homey feel, accent with circle art ***SERVICE: older lady server, attentive and friendly, food came out pretty fast ***RECOMMEND: Would Recommend and would definitely go back if we're in the area

Absolutely my favorite Japanese noodle shop in the whole state of Georgia! From the delicious consistent authentic Japan dishes to the impeccable and accommodating wait service this place is a 10/10. The lady who works there is so nice and knows me everytime when I come in and makes me feel like family. It gets quite busy on the weekends and they are only open for lunch so better get there early. The ambiance is very pleasant and it's a great place to go for lunch with friends or alone you will never leave hungry and without spending an arm and a leg.

The only problem about this amazing small restaurant is that they are not open 24/7! It's great, the food is amazing, the lady hosting and serving is the kindest, what else?? Oh yes, prices are absolutely fair! This is true food! Authentic Japanese! Here are some more pics! Give Circle Noodle a try you won't regret it!

I got the nabeyaki udon with vegetable tempura The vegetable tempura was disappointing. I received it hot but it wasn't crunchy. The batter was bland and was heavy so I tasted more batter than the vegetables. The veggies were pumpkin, sweet potato, and jalapeños/peppers. All of the veggies under the batter were bland as well. As time went by the batter tasted really oily and soggy. It put a bad taste in my mouth and put in a bad mood when the udon came. However, the udon's broth was light and flavorful. Nothing special about the noodles- it's as it should be. The broth was the highlight of the udon. Comes in a pot with some chicken pieces, mushroom, spinach, and poached egg.

Delicious and very good customer service.

Best Udon in the metro Atlanta area. This is a brand new spot, so they still have a few bugs to work out, but the food is on point.

Ask the Community - Circle Noodle

    Are they closed permanently?

No! But their hours have changed and are somewhat limited.

    Where are the noodles made?

The udon noodles are made in-house.

Are reservations recommended? How is the wait on the weekend?

I think they do take reservations. We went on a Saturday at 5:00 and it wasn't busy, but the place became full within the hour. However, that's not hard to do because it's a small place.

Do they serve beer or sake?

the resturant is byob, theyll provide glasses and bottle openers

Are there any vegan options @Circle Noodle? I so hope so!

They use fish broth in all their ramen bowls. :-(

Are there any gluten-free items on the menu? (question for a friend)

I think there are very few gluten-free items since most of Circle Noodle's menu is comprised of udon. Udon is a wheat flour noodle. You might be able to eat some of their apps like agedashi tofu or edadame, but it'd be difficult to get full from… Read more

This is not your typical sushi restaurant as evident from its long sushi bar to its upstairs private booths. We were one of the first to arrive for a weekday happy hour and enjoyed trying various sushi, miso cod, and cold Japanese beer. We wish that frenetic Lily's was not the next sushi exploration stop on our progressive activity as we were spoiled by Edo's tranquil environment and quality food at Edo. The hamachi kama yaki was a lovely presentation of a very large grilled collar. Our request to modify the orange blossom roll for regular tuna instead of spicy tuna and no mayo was not a problem either. The jalapeno yellow tail roll was generous portion and again- hold the mayo please! Very pleasant and non rushed service. Only odd note were the photos on the menu- guess that was needed before diners became more familiar with the cuisine. Plenty of parking in its private parking lot in the N. Point shopping area. Looking forward to our next visit!

The rolls were missing the tuna, the fried noodles were ok but the prawns were not fresh. The Hokkaido miso ramen had two slices of meat and the rest was all noodles..hat was the best dish. The octopus appetizer was sketch soo I did not try to. We went to celebrate a birthday and they did give the birthday boy a nice birthday treat. For the cost we could have gotten better food elsewhere.

There are so many thoughtful little details in the décor that make it feel special. Every server and staff member was genuinely kind and impressively hospitable, offering a level of service that honestly surpasses some higher-end restaurants I've been to. Now, the food. Their ginger salad might be the best I've ever had. They use romaine and green leaf lettuce instead of the typical iceberg, which gives it far more flavor and texture. The dressing was smooth and creamy--not broken, watery, or overly acidic like so many ginger dressings tend to be. The miso soup also had more depth of flavor than most versions I've tried. A bonus surprise: they have more lunch options than what's listed online, and the in-person prices are actually cheaper. So don't rely on the website--come in and look for yourself. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and sushi roll combo. They offer a generous selection of rolls to choose from, and I went with the Alaskan roll. The filling was plentiful and well-balanced. The rice on the outside was slightly thin in a few bites where the seaweed peeked through, but the overall flavor was excellent. The chicken teriyaki was outstanding--juicy, tender, perfectly seared, and full of rich teriyaki flavor. I also appreciated the unexpected cold bean sprout salad on the side, which added a nice contrast to the meal. Overall, this was a wonderful lunch at a very fair price--only $15. I'd happily return and highly recommend stopping in rather than making assumptions based on appearances or online listings.

The last few times there's been the same 2 workers male and female Asian workers working when I visit over the weekend. The cook is normally Mexican, and a great cook. I asked for extra teriyaki sauce and salad dressing since the cook doesn't put extra. They wanted to charge extra for the extra sauce and half of portion cup of salad dressing. I normally order the same thing when I visit, teriyaki chicken bento box combo and maybe shrimp tempura. The male worker told me that I could only get the small drink with the combo and the female smirked. It's sad that people in the service industry act so ugly and unhappy with their job. Sad part I attempted to leave feedback on the company's website but it wouldn't allow me to submit y. You'd think they'd rather get the negative feedback and nip it in the bud, nope. If there was an option to select zero I would have.
