When her computer needed time to be turned on, another bank administrator offered to help and was very friendly as well. In the end, I not only updated my information, I was offered a new credit card. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, so I feel they deserve a nice review.

There was a number of issues I have encountered but I will try my best to list them: 1) came here for a debit card replacement FYI they do not do temporary debit cards!!! I was told this after the fact.... 2) They reported my card "lost" even though I'm showing them the damaged I need to be replaced card IN PERSON!!! (Is there not option for damaged cards.....) 3) the manager and banker kept insisting I was there to open a new account and I had to several times tell them I only wanted a replacement card. Finally on the last time I had to curse and say "I am not fucking here for a new account, I only want a fucking new debit card to replace my damaged one....I DO NOT WANT TO OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT!!!" 4) after finally ordering a new debit card and told they do not offer temporary cards anymore they insisted I can just add my old one they reported as "lost" to my Apple wallet but of course that didn't work because use the old card "is reported as fucking lost!!!" Finally after this branch dropped the ball and left me with no devise card for the next two weeks I have made the decision to move to Chase once this fiasco is sorted out!! Note: if anyone is considering the same thing Chase is offering an incentive that if you move your direct deposit info with them you will get $300 free. Looking forward to moving to chase end of the month once this card gets here and I will never bank with bofa ever again! now I don't have a debit card for 7-10 days. Ontop of that the manager that was helping kept insisting I wanted to open a new account....several times I had to correct the manager I did "not want new account created, I want a new debit card only". This is a great credit union! I came to Southland to open up my first ever auto loan, I shopped…read morearound for a bit, as I was looking for the best rate. They were giving me a rate I couldn't refuse, I was told over the phone to do it online, but since this was my first ever loan I truly wanted to go in person so I can ask questions, and make sure I'm doing everything correctly! The person who helped me over the phone, informed me about a service they had which was CarScouts! I told her I already had a car, but I would love to hear from them since this car might get sold at any moment! John from CarScouts then called me and was giving me all the information about them, at this point I still didn't start the loan process, but I knew that I wanted to go with Southland! He told me to stop by this location in Downey and to speak with Edgar, he said he would be there and could answer all the questions I had. So I went in and immediately I sat down with Edgar and we instantly clicked! He made the process extremely quick and painless! I am very appreciative of him for helping me with all the questions I had! The car that I planned on getting was sold, so I picked up the phone and called John from CarScouts, and in the matter of a couple of hours we had a car ready to go for the next day! I purchased the vehicle on Jan 21, and I'm extremely thankful for both Edgar and John, and especially thankful to Southland Credit Union for helping me in this chapter of my life.
