This was the first and the favorite meal I had in Santa Fe! Everything I tried was delicious, and I would absolutely come here again and again if I could. I shared the Durango omelette and Huevos rancheros, then we got a cinnamon roll and French toast for the table. Everything was fantastic. I slightly preferred the Huevos rancheros over the omelette, but you can't go wrong with either. The cinnamon roll was massive, almost the size of my whole hand in length and width. I thought the cinnamon roll was amazing, but then I had the French toast, which is made from the cinnamon roll, and I was blown away. Absolute perfection. They have a lot of seating both inside and out, with big tables that are great for groups. We had a group of 7 and many of the tables would've comfortably sat us, and some with room to spare.

Wonderful variety of food. They have seating for large groups as well as small. Nice patio area that has shade.

It was freezing out so a bowl of spicy soup was warm and comforting. The place is nice, comfy, and the menu has a large variety that can hit any craving you could have. The cinnamon rolls are as big as my face.

We came here on a recommendation from a local for coffee, but we decided to stay for breakfast since the menu looked really good. I saw reviews raving about their cinnamon rolls, so my boyfriend got one to try. He was a little disappointed that it was a little dry and not as magical as everyone hyped it up to be, maybe because they didn't warm it up for serving. We got the Durango Omelette and it was very good. He loves green chile anything, and he was very impressed by theirs. They have a lot of seating and community tables, with a very laid back vibe. Lots of toys and games for kiddos, too. We'd definitely come back for more next time!

"Short" iced latte lol. Was strong and good.

After 7 years I decided to update my review to include my Mediterranean Plate I had today, because the hummus was just that good-in fact the best I've had in Santa Fe. Greek salad also great, tho the sprouts on top and ginormous carrot shavings on bottom confused me. Still, it all tasted delicious (including the Spanakopita), and the warmed pita bread was a bonus. Also, 7 years ago they didn't take cards but now they do - with a 3% charge (so bring cash). Finally, remember to get your own napkins and silverware at the station - they don't tell you that and I had forgotten. The noise level is still as loud as ever inside but hey, that's the price you pay for delicious food! I couldn't resist the piece of poppyseed bundt cake and was glad I got it as it was heavenly and perfectly moist.

This pet friendly restaurant was perfect for breakfast for my pup and myself. We were able to sit outside in the back area and enjoy our meal. The food was so delicious and flavorful. Very welcoming staff and beautiful decor.

try as I might, I do not like this place. First, do not. Ask me for a tip when you do. Absolutely nothing to earn it. I have to get my condiments, salt and pepper, napkins, go box, and I'm expected to bus my table. Also, I'm on a roll, I ordered a tuna sandwich. No onions, and no sprouts. I get a tuna salad, but the onions are in the mix, they should've told me that in the beginning. I went back to ask about it, and they said the girl said no. You ordered tuna with no sprouts, and no tomato, and I held up the tomato on my plate. If I didn't order tomatoes what is this. Do you want anything else? Absolutely not.

Two of us went to Counter Culture today. It was my second visit and it's a place I'd recommend. As I did last time, I ordered the Half Sandwich, Soup, AND Salad for $14. I thought that was a good price. I chose the tuna salad on whole wheat which came with lettuce, tomato, red onion, sprouts, walnut, celery, and Dijon mustard. Very tasty and quite large. I really enjoyed the fresh-tasting sprouts as well as the crunch from the celery and walnuts. I'm picky about tuna salad and this hit the spot. For my soup I ordered the vegan split pea. Hearty and something you don't see that often. The side salad with was made of lettuce, sprouts, tomato, red onions, cucumber, and carrots, I requested balsamic dressing. One tip is to order your dressing on the side as they were quite generous with it. My friend ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, salad with Cesar dressing, and clam chowder. I'm not sure how often the soup menu changes. He also mentioned a little kick to his sandwich. To drink, I had an herbal iced tea with Hibiscus and he had the Thai iced tea. And we also bought a blueberry muffin for later. We pinched off a couple of pieces while waiting for our food and we can't wait to finish it tonight. The restaurant has a very nice variety of sandwiches, several salad choices, breakfast options, as well as specialty items like spring rolls and beer battered salmon tacos. You order at the counter and they deliver the food to your table. The decor is simple and clear. Definitely worth a visit.

Nine members of the Santa Fe Foodies group enjoyed their meal in the lovely 2nd (back) patio, and everyone seemed very pleased with the food. I had my standby, the Durang Omelette, always great, one of the best in town. Red Chile was outstanding. My wife had the Nicoise salad with Salmon, which was very good. Fun vibe, very good service, a great place to eat, and super dog-friendly (we didn't bring the pups but met several lovely dogs). Parking is challenging, but that's the only minus. Food is fresh, clean, and delicious!

Think this was a tuna dish and gratefully, it was very good.

Fully self serve but expecting a tip at order. Some dishes can be excellent at times and yucky at others. Completely unpredictable. I hate having to do all the labor myself aside from cooking. After 6 years in Santa Fe I've given up on this place.

Did takeout from here and it was delicious. Greek salad and Asian plate very fresh. The standout was a gluten free dirt bomb. Omg, fabulous! And we aren't even gluten free but it looked so good that we had to try one. Fun ambience, good service. Nothing fancy, just good!

Let's start this Santa Fe week off right! They accepted credit card - just need to update 'cash only'. The menu is quite vast & a cup of dark coffee seems to be alright. The vibe, that is amazing. Kids friendly & Barista are cheerful. Everyone plays their parts. A lot of patrons working on their laptop at the cafe even in the morning. I sat the front patio for the morning breeze & the price is what you'd expect for a trendy place. I am not sure, this is Hipster spot but I d come back next time. ( No hippies in the cafe as far as I know, hey this is " Counter Culture" #ykyk). Again, this is Santa Fe, NM if you feel particularly not welcome, it is not about you. Learn how to blend in first, which I know local folks here, so I ain't surprised. The SouthWestern Pride :) There is a parking lot & the small galleries in the compound!

    Find the two dogs. ;)

They are no longer cash only. Yay! I have given it another try because we loved it SO MUCH before covid. Happy to report that the staff was friendly & the food is still delicious. Love the hibiscus herbal ice tea... it IS slightly sweet but not too much for me. I am still disappointed that they continue to use Styrofoam & plastic to go containers, but I have HOPE that they will correct this. (The food is so good I seldom have Leftovers, but I won't order takeout here until they get sustainable containers.

On the food side, Palacio cooks their red Chile for over 8 hours, making it in my opinion one of the best and most flavorful in Santa Fe. Most other places I get Christmas style, but here, the red Chile is just perfect. On this trip, we had a smothered breakfast burrito and enchiladas suizas. Both were perfectly cooked, served hot, and resulted in another visit of what we expected from Palacio - great food and friendly service in what had quickly become our favorite Santa Fe restaurant.

We also asked another staff member if we could use one of the patio umbrellas (they were all closed for some reason), and he was prompt and friendly, which we appreciated. We ordered a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, a meat-filled empanada, a honey latte, and a cold brew. The cold brew was a little too dark for my taste, though coffee preferences are definitely subjective. Interestingly, there's a place in Albuquerque that has an almost identical flavor profile. The toasted everything bagel was very good, but it didn't come with quite enough cream cheese. The single cream cheese packet also felt a bit lackluster presentation-wise. That said, when we asked for more, the response was friendly and accommodating. The honey latte had beautiful latte art and great flavor, definitely a highlight. The empanada, filled with ground beef, green chile, and piñon, was a bit over-toasted, but the filling itself was flavorful, even if somewhat sparse. Overall, I think 35 North has a lot going for it and could easily elevate the experience with a few small improvements to consistency and customer service.
