Bakery/café with options for days. I was both excited and overwhelmed. My daughter and I loved the ham and cheese omelet. It was buttery with just the right amount of cheese, and for a dollar more you can get it made with egg whites. We also shared an apricot/berry clafoutis, a puff pastry with crème, and a salmon sandwich. I could have skipped the puff pastry and salmon sandwich. They weren't bad, they just weren't as good as the omelet and clafoutis. There was ample seating, and you can tell this is a place the local retirees love. It stayed busy even around 1:00 pm. Definitely a place I want to visit again before I leave.
it was good! i wish the vegetarian options were better but overall the service was good despite a bit of a long wait and overall i would definitely recommend
Our server was fantastic and efficient despite it being really packed. My guy and I decided to split the Croque Madame. I appreciated the server/chef splitting the sammich onto 2 plates for us, but it made it hard to split only one egg between the two plates. Thankfully, the egg was perfectly cooked! Unfortunately, the sammich itself was bland and boring. We were glad we split it because neither of us would've wanted a full sammich. We took a look at the fresh baked pastries and they did look really good, but we decided to pass since we weren't impressed by the sammich. Overall, 2.5 stars.
Came up in my research for my trip and I'm so glad we were able to make it. We stopped here for breakfast on our last day before we headed back home. The atmosphere was definitely bustling, even for a Wednesday morning. We passed the pastry case on the way to the table and I was very tempted to get something on the way out, but didn't. Prices were very reasonable for the quality, which makes it a place I think we would frequent if we lived here. I ordered the coconut french toast along with a large orange juice and both were excellent! The OJ was fresh squeezed and so good, a perfect start to the morning. The french toast was phenomenal. Moist, lightly caramelized in spots, and topped with seasonal fruit and a generous sprinkle of coconut flakes. I devoured it and loved every bite. I love french toast but I'm usually hesitant to order it because it can turn out too dry or too thick, but this was exactly right. Our server was quick and efficient, and we didn't wait long for our food despite how busy it was. The only drawback for me was the design of the two person tables. The legs were so close together that it was tricky to sit comfortably without bumping into them. Not a dealbreaker, but something I noticed that made it sort of uncomfortable if you're in a slightly bigger body or like to sit closer to the table. Otherwise, the space was very cute. You know it's French style because it's the only place we had been to in town that didn't have a ristra hanging somewhere lol I thought this place was excellent and would love to come back someday!
What's not to luv about Clafoutis? Perhaps how busy and crowded it's gotten over the years Food is always delicious I brought friends who've never bn before - and luvd. Both hv bn to France and had a reference
Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The atmosphere and ambience were incredible, the service was top notch and the food was so divine. We're traveling to Colorado from Texas but if we ever come back through we will most definitely come here again. I recommend!!!
This is hands down one of the best breakfasts in the city. The customer service was excellent, and the space is nice and cozy inside. The bakery itself is amazing, and the lattes are absolute perfection. I ordered the pistachio latte, and it was so creamy, topped with whipped cream and chopped pistachios, which really took the flavor to the next level. Our server was great and recommended the Quiche Maison with artichokes, prosciutto, tomatoes, feta, and spinach. Chef's kiss. It came with a side salad and a delicious dressing that tied everything together. The crispy hash browns were also amazing. I will definitely be back and highly recommend giving this place a try. It does get extremely busy in the morning. We waited about 35 minutes, and they do not take reservations. I did notice the crowd died down around 11:45 a.m. to noon. I am giving this place five stars because everything was perfection.
Excellent food. The croissant was one of the best I've ever had. Really enjoyed my lavender latte and my partner had the pistachio latte which was to die for. We also had quiche and a crepe. The quiche was quite salty but still tasted good. It's a beautiful restaurant with lots of tables of various sizes. It was wildly busy when we arrived and waited 35 minutes. Staff was wonderful.
A bustling bakery with a huge selection of pastries and treats. It was very busy by the time I got there around 10ish on a Friday. The display cases are packed so it was difficult to choose! The croissants are very flaky and buttery, and I've never had a clafoutis before. It's tasty!

Disappointed. Worst breakfast so far. Pricey and yet bad. The crepes -- it's as thick as a pancake. I don't even know how to describe the taste. The nutella was the only thing that made it possible for me to swallow this crepe. The plate is a joke. 2 bacon and 2 eggs, charged $17.5. What?! The coffee was plain too. The service was good but I just care the taste of the food more.
Adore. Some places are so lovely that you smile ear to ear the entire time. This is one of those places.

Excellent service and great coffee. Table enjoyed French Toast loaded with fruit and a savory ham and cheese crepe as well as peach and pear tarts. All was delicious. Atmosphere was ok. I missed hearing French bistro music in background. read more

I can only speak to quick ordering up at the front bakery area. I hope to dine in soon. Service from the front counter was great! It gets a bit loud if they are busy. Clafoutis is the perfect place to treat yourself or stop in for a quick grab and go when you have guests. The bakery displays will leave you speechless with so many amazing options. Pastries, tartines, tarts, cookies, quiches.....there is something for everyone! Santa Fe is so lucky to have them! I would highly take some treats and coffee to go and head up to museum hill on a nice day and enjoy! I'm looking forward to returning to continue trying all the delicious items on display. I did have a not so great coffee cup to go - the lid leaked and overall was flimsy. I would love to see a better to go coffee cup and lid - pretty please?! A must stop when in town...parking is easy in the parking lot as long as their is space. I look forward to sitting outside next time. What a gem! read more
Clafoutis is good for me, not great but a solid good. Today I got a good croissant, and a diy omelette, everything was totally fine. The baguette lacked flavor but was light and fresh. The omelette was well cooked and flavorful. I've never explored their crepes but have had other pastries in the past and other things on the menu, including the two egg classic breakfast. To me its just always lacking a little richness, and depth of yumminess of other French Bakeries but its a solid spot with a solid menu, good service and a lot of space. read more
I'm obsessed with this place!!! Bright, open, airy with a pastry case reminiscent of the boulangeries I visited in Paris for breakfast. Sit-down breakfast is fast and tasty, and served with fresh croissant and baguette by friendly servers. Their to-go case is quick with soooo many choices of pastry and quick bites to go. Parking is a bit if a challenge, but this place is so worth parking a bit away and walking. read more
Could not decide what to get because everything looked so good. Was at a conference so got the custard filled beignets for my small group, slices of tarts for the meeting planner and a berry pastry for myself. Beignets are not the fried dough you think of if you've ever been to New Orleans. Instead, these are like donut holes. They were fantastic. Moist, really filled and perfectly sweet. The elevation definitely affects the rise of pastries but my berry pastry was nice and flaky. I ran there and back (holding a bag of goodies) from the plaza area snd it was totally doable. Definitely worth a stop if you're ever in Santa Fe. read more
I visited with a group of friends for the Memorial Day weekend. - I started of with a French onion soup which is subpar from what I had in mind and with very bland taste to it. - I had the caramelized fruits of the day crepe and had pears that were caramelized. Had good flavor to it but doesn't stand out however the crepes are well made. - I tried their Cafe Liegois - and expensive cold brew with vanilla ice-cream. Tastes more like whipped cream and doesn't have much coffee flavor to it. Was shattered by the taste. As a group we were able to share and I have tried the croissant (plain and Chocolate) - one of the best things at the bakery. - Quiche Asperges Jambon - flavorful and good portion for the price. - les omelettes - provengale - the best one of all the dishes we have tried. The wait time was t the best(45-60 mins) and the service was slower during rush hours. read more

Nice French bakery in Santa Fe where you can get sophisticated and scrumptious French pastries at the prices that won't break your bank. My friend spent a lengthy part of his life in France, so he naturally developed somewhat of a picky, high taste for bakery goods like bread and pastries. It was hard and a bit nerve-wracking to find something he would enjoy when his basis has always been what he was used to getting in France! Well, I'm glad there's Clafoutis around! There you can get croissants (their most popular items) and many other baked goods and bread there! The prices aren't cheap but are reasonable and within reach...so do stop by to grab/try some! My fav thus far has been a savory croissant with ham, cheese and even green chili to give it a new Mexican kick! For my super french influenced companion? He swears be the pain au chocolate (e.g. chocolate croissants in my laymen's term?). Check them out if you are around the area. Better, if you have time to hang around, grab breakfast/lunch there too. They seemed to be quite popular among locals and tourists alike! read more
Loved this French cafe when we stopped here for breakfast in our last day at Santa Fe . Cool ambience , nice decor, lots of French pastries to buy and simple menu. We had fresh orange juice , strawberry and peach nectar (bottled) to start with . Followed it with egg croissant and substituted meat with avocado . This was a warm sandwich and I loved it . My son had fruit crepes and hubby had egg white 3 egg omelette with cheese . Fresh and delicious! Finished it off with some hot coffee latte that my hubby enjoyed every sip of! Must visit at least once if you are planning a visit to Santa Fe ! read more

DEEEEEEEEEEEE-WISHOUS! What a fabulous spot. The food and service are both perfect. Nice people and great food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Everything we tried was wonderful. Whether you're a local or just passing through on a road trip, this is a really good pick for breakfast or lunch. If you don't have time for sit down dining, they have a ton of delicious options in their bakery ready to go as well. Also - They have very pandemic-friendly outdoor seating! read more

Wonderful place for breakfast and lunch. We have been visiting Clafoutis for over a year and could eat here every day. The assortment of pastries, breakfast items, quiche, omlettes, and soups are amazing. There is always a daily special, too. The servers are wonderful, and we have gotten to know a few since we visit frequently. We are always greeted with a smile no matter how busy the place is. Whether just wanting good coffee and a sweet or a full meal, Clafoutis is sure not to disappoint. It's one of our favorite restaurants in Santa Fe. read more
Such a gem in Santa Fe. As a tourist, I definitely love this place. All the pastries are well made, not too sweet. It's hard to find a brunch place like this in the area. Tried the French plate, pretty tasty. Parking is easy, the wait is about 15mins not too bad. You can get into the line to order some coffee first. read more

There is just no place like Clafoutis! We were back in town visiting family on our way to Sedona and this time we got to dine in. Soooo glad we did! We sat outside in the tented seating area in the parking lot. They are certainly embracing how to be successful and providing a Covid safe space. My husband and I split the ham & cheese croissant and the coconut French toast. Oh my! The presentation and taste were incredible. Of course we couldn't stop with just breakfast and got pastries for the road. It is so hard to choose from all the fabulous items and I wasn't the only customer marking multiple rounds before making a selection. We all agreed it's hard to choose. I'll never get tired of coming to Clafoutis and wish them a long successful business. read more

I so rarely award anything over 4 stars. This is not a 4.5 star restaurant. It is a solid 5. +Good coffee (the bowl is a little unwieldy unless you have strong hands or are using it for dunking your chocolate croissant) ++Great cappuccino +++Great pastries +++Great quiche (we had the special, which was spinach, potato, bacon and leek (a large cut from a pan rather than the smaller individual rounds) not overly dense or cheesy like many American quiches. +++ special breakfast on menu looked small on the plate but came with a big basket of baguette, a croissant, butter and jam. read more

Enjoyed a fantastic French-style breakfast at Clafoutis! Despite the busy Christmas weekend, their service was outstanding. Delicious Croque Madame and a delightful Quiche with Salmon and Leeks. Truffles and macarons made in-house. Didn't get the chance but to try bakery'. Highly recommend - never expected this authentic French culinary experience in the high desert. read more
Delicious!! They literally sell "bowls" of coffee!! We went for the Croque Madame but ended up ordering a few other things and several baked goods from the pastry counter. The food was delicious and the service was good!! We traveled to Sante Fe to eat good food and this fulfilled our mission!! When in Sante Fe stop my Clafoutis if only for the bakery, you won't be disappointed. read more

This place was a delightful breakfeast place, although i cannot say i was wowed as much as i wish i was, or thought i would be.. I tried their cinnamon roll as well as the waffles, and while both were good, they were both rather cold. The first time we went in we stood in front of the hosts desk and had waiters and hosts pass by and go up to the desk just to walk away over and over, the waiters also seem to only come by exactly when you think "wow are they ever going to come back?". Now, all that being said, my sister adored her strawberry Nutella crepes, and the ambiance and visuals of the place is so beautiful. I love that theres a little bakery in the front and it all looks delicious. This wouldn't be a place i would come by a lot but its nice once and a while... my true rating would be a 3.7 if i could. read more
Loved this place and I am not sure what I loved more ,the food or the cute French Vibe . We came for brunch on a weekday and man was it full. I mean for a weekday this was the longest line I had ever seen but it was a bright nice day and we just hung around the front patio and waited for our number. It probably took around 40-50 minutes . You are greeted by an inviting aroma as you walk in and the cornucopia of fruit-topped tarts, chocolate and vanilla éclairs, plum galettes, sugar brioche, and of course clafoutis are what you would notice on display .The ambience is very Parisian and pretty with cute knick knacks adorning the tables along with items for sale . We were seated in the front room , pretty close to the display side and I had a hard time stopping myself from ordering every second item on display . We got the Croquet Madame and Sandwich prosciutto with brie and Cappuccino as well as a Mango Elixir. The mango drink was exceptionally good and reminded me of a beverage back from my childhood days. The cappuccino was boring at best and wasn`t even hot .The food though was pretty amazing and I have to say that the Baguette sandwich really knocked me off . The bread was fresh yet crispy , the fillings soft and delicious and the combination of brie with prosciutto and tomatoes was just so delectable . I ordered a few bakery items too but they just never brought them to the table . One thing I will say is that the service was not at par with the popularity of this place , it took forever to take our order , to clean the table , to ask for a check and to even get to-go boxes. I had ordered a few bakery items but they did not get them to the table and I just ended up cancelling them because we were long done eating and were heading out of town after that .I would highly recommend this place to everyone who likes baked goodies. The wait times can be a deterrent but remember most good things take time , you will be rewarded I promise . read more

My fav bakery ever! I love coming here for brunch and taking home tons to baked goods. Havnt had anything I didn't like here. My kids get the crepe or waffles but I love their quiches and omelets. The croissants are the best too! read more

Overall experience 10/10! Came here two times in a row for brunch before leaving the city. The store has a pastry display case with so many delicious country styled tart, macarons, eclairs, tarts, and more. I definitely recommend trying some pastries in addition to the brunch items on the menu. Customer service: amazing! The employees are incredibly patient and checked up on us throughout our meal despite the store being completely full. Food: so delicious I ordered the french toast with fruits, the chai latte, and the french plate. The plating of the food was incredibly aesthetic! The french toast was flavorful and completely worth the price. The chai latte was one of the best I've ever had: it had such an aromatic and heavy chai flavor. The french plate, on the saltier side, reminded me of a chacutterie board which I absolutely loved! Thank you for the amazing experience at Santa Fe!! read more

Authentic French bakery is in Santa Fe. Open at 7am for the early birds this place is perfect to start your day on the right foot. Great breakfast but the most surprising item on the menu is the humble granola yogurt. Honestly not an item I ever order but due to time constraints; on a whim I ordered it (among other things) & what a wonderful thing it was. Not your typical yogurt which is usually synthetically sweet this is the real deal. Can't wait to visit again. read more

Wow! My parents are regulars here and always talk about it. Today my wife and I came with some friends and let's just say we went overboard with all the delicious, scrumptious looking desserts. We left with two boxes and full tummies. We arrived around 8am and the restaurant was full already however we sat down right away. I would highly recommended going early to get a great seat and a perfect time to choose pastry's. We ordered Croquet modem and asparagus and ham quiche. The quiche was so fluffy and delicious. Perfectly seasoned. My wife didn't speak as she eat her croquet modem. It was a great portion, the egg was cooked right. The customer service was wonderful and there outfits are super cute! I absolutely loved the atmosphere and how authentic, French it is! I'll be back! read more

Lovely French restaurant. From the time you come in to the end, it was a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and the food delicious. What make this place special is the attention to details from the minimal landscape, decoration, colors, and the service of the food not to say that the food was very good. Definitely a place to come back. read more
I saw such high ratings on yelp of this place and was super excited to try it out and it did not disappoint! When you walk into this place, you can immediate smell their freshly baked pastries which makes you hungrier than you already are. We ordered their french onion soup, croque madame and buckwheat crepe. They are all savory and flavorful. The eggs on the croque madame was cooked perfectly. We ended our meal with their strawberry pastry - the texture was perfect and it was not overly sweet. Would highly recommend this place if you are around and I can't wait to come back next time I am in Santa Fe! read more
