Can someone please help me understand your special on Saturday? I ordered the classic special which I thought was a chicken salad pita, potato salad, additional side and lemon cake for $12.99, but I didn't get the additional side.If I would have ordered these items separately it would have been $11.58. Can someone please explain the additional charges since I feel I was over charged. The cashier was no help. Update: thank you for the explanation and this makes sense . Tried this cozy, family friendly place today. Very inviting, welcoming, and warm staff! The restaurant, itself, offers a wide variety of specials and sandwiches. I ordered the half sandwich special which came with a side and a soup/salad. All of their soups are homemade and the sandwich I ordered (the reuben with corned beef) was absolutely delicious! Let me start off by saying that I love Clara's Tidbits restaurant. I have been several times and have never been disappointed. Everything is always fresh and excellent. Today they had a special with chicken salad in a pita with a side of potato salad, a piece of lemon cake and a drink. I couldn't pass up the special. I had never tried their chicken salad before so I gave it a shot since it is one of the items they are famous for. It was excellent just like everything else I have tried. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful no matter what location you visit. If you want great food and a good price this is the place to go. read more

Very good and fresh. I was looking for that ALL American Turkey, Ham, Bacon club and they don't have that. So after building my own to get that as the outcome, made it very pricey. Add a a club like this to the menu and I'd be there every Saturday! read more

A few of my colleagues and I have ordered from here through door dash a number of times. The food is delicious! They are very prompt on confirming our order and making sure it is ready for the door dasher to pick up and deliver on time. I will say I have gotten the chicken pita both times and the first time I just got the chicken chunks which is the way it comes but found that it was a little too dry for me. It is definitely a healthier option but I found myself adding some mayonnaise to my sandwich. So the next time I got that I swapped out the chicken chunks for chicken salad. I really enjoyed the chicken salad better than the chicken chunks. Both were delicious and I would recommend anything from here . Chicken salad would just be my personal preference. The portions are very good and the prices are fair. Most of us can never finish all the food we get. read more

I love Clara's Tidbit's. I love their Tuna salad pita with chips and an ice tea. I have also had their grilled reuben sandwhich which is on the smaller side but very good. I find in Jacksonville they don't always serve the reuben grilled. Sometimes it is served on warm bread, which I find odd. They also have excellent potato salad! My husband has had the tuna plate which was generous and delicious. They have indoor and a handful of outdoor tables but keep in mind they close at 2:30. read more

Okay here TRUTH - FOOD was not worth money at all. Potatoe salad was mashed potatoes with no taste. Reuben had no sauerkraut with no taste, my kids grilled cheese was not melted AT ALL looked like toasted bread with cold cheese put in middle and what was with chicken found in sandwich. Cute place and tasty sandwiches. It was my first time at Clara's Tidbits and I enjoyed my meal. I ordered a Tuna Salad Sandwich (with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, green peppers which were substituted by pickles by mistake, and cucumbers) on a croissant. As a side, I asked for their pita chips. The sandwich was very full (and filling) and tasty, too. The pita chips were seasoned and a great side. The staff was very friendly and enforced the using/wearing of masks while inside! read more

Reiterating 5 star rating! Really appreciate when businesses see and reply to reviews. This place clearly cares about doing a great job. Based on Clara's reply I decided to try something new and went with their Tidbit Special Salad. Person at the counter suggested their blue cheese dressing (I had previously tried their house ranch on a side salad, unfortunately the ranch wasn't my favorite...not much flavor). Salad was bursting with flavor and felt super healthy. Blue cheese dressing probably technically not super healthy but sooo worth it. It's some of the best you'll ever have. Can't wait to go back and continue to try new things. This place knocks its out of the park. i tried their chicken salad for the second time. others may like that type of chicken salad but i am not a fan. it really does not have much flavor at all. i like my chicken salad with cranberries or grapes with pecans or walnuts. it was just mainly chicken and mayo which is not that tasty. My boyfriend got the Poboy and also a side of potato salad. They are known for their potato salad it is very good. Called in order To-Go and it was ready when I walked in. Then I noticed the dessert specials so I asked to add a dessert. It was no problem. They had it ready quick and home I went. My lunch was absolutely delicious! Got The Salad Sampler. Super-fresh, tasted great and very large portion. First time I tried TidBits and I'll def be returning to try different things. I love this restaurant. The food is always delicious. I've eaten at the restaurant and had it catered to many events and the food is always excellent! They have wondrrful service. I'm impressed with how efficient they are about handling running the restaurant during the pandemic. They all wear masks and seat people apart. I highly recommend this restaurant! read more
