Not sure why my other post was on an account I don't use, but I prefer to put my face to a review so I have to post this again... I've been coming to Clarkie's for quite sometime time and I had to come on here to piggy back off of the negative review left the other day. The staff at Clarkie's has always treated people with respect, even the horrible customers who are rude to staff and other customers. The "handicapped man" is not handicapped, he's known in the community for being violent and rude and has created issues for them in the past. The business has the right the refuse service, and they've been tolerating his behavior for quite some time especially when he comes in screaming vulgar obscenities. I come here because everyone is so friendly, it truly is a family oriented restaurant and very welcoming. The food is great as well. read more

This place is still a 5 star in my book! My family and I have been coming here for a few years now and have never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly and some even greet us by name and know what we are going to order. The food is always delicious and plentiful and they have never messed up the order. Their coffee is the best around! Even with the COVID regulations, they are still pleasant and accommodating; covered and heated patio in case it rains and side patio if you prefer the sunshine. P.S. I had a ginormous club sandwich with perfectly cooked fries that passed the test when I brought them home and rewarmed them in the air fryer and they didn't fall apart. My hubby got a medium rare cheeseburger and loved it. He is hard to please. The ingredients were fresh. Well played. The server got a 40% tip BECAUSE it was lunch rush and she still managed to refill our drinks, bring us napkins and AND check on us frequently to see if we were OK. I ordered bacon, sunny side up eggs, a LARGE blueberry pancake. The food was super tasty and the cinnamon strusel was amazing. I had never tried anything like that before. A must try spot. Worth the drive. Food: portions are more than enough. My go to is the blueberry/pecan waffle and it's 5/5 Coffee: good and staff fills it up before I even ask for a refill. I was hesitant going in after seeing some of the reviews, but in the neighborhood, we had too many people telling us to ignore the few negative reviews and go see for our selves. So we did and we're not disappointed. Got to go in both times before the B rating changed to an A and before it became takeout only due to Coronavirus. And both times they were point on with the food and service. I had that mini muffin which was yummy and the breakfast platter. Hubby has the big breakfast plate which he loved. Second time he had the burger plate and I had a simple egg salad sandwich which was delicious. It's a simple country diner with variety on the menu. Just the way we like it. Can't wait to go back to dine in, but for now please support this and other local businesses in this time. read more

One of our favorite spots when we are in the area. They are now open for Dine In on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. We stopped in yesterday for breakfast, no wait, nice and cool outside and the food was delicious as usual. They have the best corned beef and eggs around and their coffee cake is absolutely amazing. We love this place so so much :3 it's so so yummy. And it may seem busy but they get to you so fast and food is always good and hot.

Love this place, always good food & great customer service. Only if they opened on Sundays it be perfect, but no biggie.

I've been living in Beaumont for three years and I just barely had food here for the first time today! Holy cow what was I doing! This place is delicious! Great food huge portions and you definitely have to come in here hungry. I made the mistake have something earlier the day before coming here. Now I know! Haha. Busy most of the time it looks like but the wait time if I had to guess is average 30 minutes. So if you do not like waiting for great food well you do not know. The place is nice and quaint with a good family environment. All employees within the restaurant were all very helpful and provided excellent service. I have been to Clarkies Diner for breakfast, lunch and dinner, each on a separate occasion. The first thing that you realize is that their portions are large! I have yet to be able to finish my food. I take it home to enjoy later. Every one of the staff were very friendly each and every time I have eaten here. Even when the place is packed they are courteous! The Cinnamon streusel muffins are delicious and if you haven't tried one, you MUST! The onion rings are a must-try as well! They are fantastic! We've visited twice since we moved here. Little diamond in the ruff as it's not in the greatest area but the inside was clean and decorated cute. Great little place with excellent food and service. The chicken fried steak is the best I've ever had and their streusel muffin was to die for. Will definitely be a regular breakfast place for us! Only bad thing is the parking. We were visiting my sister in laws home in Corona and heard about this establishment in Yucaipa. We decided "Hey why not". I ordered the Club Sandwich with fries and my spouse ordered a pancake breakfast of course with sausages and potatoes. We had to try their most requested cinnamon streusel which OMG mouth-watering deliciousness. We were honored to meet the owner and she is absolutely a spit-fire, adorable and we absolutely love and adore her. Every time we visit this establishment we feel like we are coming home for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and always welcomed. We often bring family and friends from out of town and no one has left disappointed.
