Today must've been one of the hottest days of the year. And tonight was especially busy after 9p. I guess everyone escaping the evening heat with cold drinks. It has been a few years since I last came. So good thing tonight was a good night since it was like 85° at 9pm. (Haha and 85°C bakery is in the same plaza). Good place for snacks, meals, and late night treats. Came with a party of about, uhmm 15. Mostly kids. Came in for my normal frostys and teas. I got grass jelly with added egg pudding, regular chocolate milk, and mango frosty. Along side those yummy drinks, got shrimp & pork wonton soup. Kids were hungry for noodles (well, more like they felt too cold after their drinks, lol). And we were all satisfied. The soup was good. Like clean eating state. I'm giving 3 stars because the food is good. And usually the service is pretty quick. But tonight, it sucked! Kilee was our server and she forgot to put my spicy wonton soup order in. My hubbys fried rice and pork chop cane out like usual. 4 minutes go by, we're thinking. That's odd, but okay. 6 more minutes go by and we're trying to get the 2 servers attention but I felt they were trying not to make eye contact on purpose. 12 more minutes and I see Kilee going into the kitchen so I think yay, my foods coming. Nope. Another 2-3 minutes and FINALLY she makes eye contact as I politely wave my hand to get her attention. I asked where's my food. She says, as she's standing near the registers, I just asked the cook...and then mumbles. For sure my hubby says that she JUST put it in. No joke 3 minutes later, food comes out. Horrible. There's a special place in my heart for Class 302. We used to come here all the time for dessert back in high school, so now when I visit I'm reminded of all the times I had with my friends here. We'd come here after lunch, shopping, or a long day at the beach and order the Mango Mochi Shaved Snow. Oh boy let me tell you about the Mango Mochi Shaved Snow. It's big - enough to share with 4 people. And it's the best shaved snow on the menu. There's mango mochi and bits of mango scattered throughout ahe bottom is milk pudding. Class 302, a great spot when you have a sweet tooth and want to share a dessert. Cutely themed as a classroom. You sit in desks with a cubby, haha REMEMBER THOSE. First visit I had the mango shaved ice, sounds better than it is. The mango fruit alongside the mango ice didnt allow for flavors to be distinguished from each other. Second time I had the STRAWBERRY ICE, VERY GOOD, flavors complimented each other well. They do serve lunch, dinner and snack items such as hotpot, popcorn chicken, and STINKY TOFU but aside from Taiwanese sausage, I haven't had the opportunity to try them yet. Small bonus: water is overlooked at a lot of locations but not here, they add the perfect amount of lemons to it so as to allow the lemon flavored water to compliment your meal instead of taking away from it. Currently i say this spot sits at a healthy 3 1/2 stars with a good chance to move up as I sample more of the menu. read more

We have visited Class 302 for their Snow Ice twice and both time it impressed us with how deliciously amazing it was. The snow ice was so light and fluffy without being overly sweet and the toppings were so decadent on them. We recently enjoyed the Summer Farm Snow Ice while last time we were in town we enjoyed the Strawberry Chocolate one and the Mango Red Bean one. They were all amazing. The savory food looks great too, but we haven't had a chance to try that yet. The service was understated, quick, and polite. Can't wait to visit the next time we are in town! read more

Love this location because I can adjust the sugar level!! The class 302 in Downey has self serve stations that don't let me adjust the sugar level. Even half sugar is pretty sweet. Not only did they get the tea wrong and the toppings on the shaved snow wrong but they also completely forgot our cream puff! They did not apologize but instead became defensive. When I was trying to pay for the bill the man who worked here was too busy yelling at people to help out! Also what the heck why do you only have one person working the floor? There were other waiters loitering around doing nothing. This restaurant offers appetizers and desserts to full course meals. I ordered the Japanese Miso Hotpot as it was rated one of the top two. I thought the soup flavor was kind of a bit too salty. The portion was very generous as it kept me really full and I could not even finish the whole thing by myself. Definitely recommend sharing with a friend if you plan to try their desserts afterward. The meat quality was not the best; it was mediocre. Their drinks were also very generous on the portion. I bought a Iced Almond Latte afterward. The inside atmosphere was like a classroom where you sit at a desk to eat. The chairs were kind of old and dusty. It's a cute little cafe for Taiwanese comfort food. Admittedly, I always go to Taiwanese cafes for the popcorn chicken! This one, however, disappoints. The chicken popcorn looks good but actually lacks in flavor. Let's just say I had better popcorn chicken for the same or lower price. They have plenty of options for drinks and food which is good! We ordered the Peppcorn Beef meal and it came served in a tray dish and rice on the side. It was really good and had huge portions. I also ordered the same for takeout for a friend working night shift and a Crispy porkchop for a friend. They both loved it. I wanna try the Peppercorn Garlic Chicken next time we come back. I ordered the frozen mocha with boba for my drink. I actually like it. It has I think are Java chips that made the drink more interesting. Smooth mocha, chewy boba and the crunchy chips make a really good combo. I would see Will and Tim check in here after soccer on Thursdays (in the LA area) and wonder how this place was... I finally got to go this past vacation!! And it's good because it has free parking, closes at midnight, and wasn't that crowded! Service could be better - maybe there was a communication glitch? I have been coming here for YEARS because of the THAI TEA FROSTY. It is not the same as normal Thai Tea. If you love sweet, this is the drink for you. This stuff is addictive. Pretty decent Taiwanese food for America. I'm from Vancouver, so it's hard to find decent Taiwanese places. It's a pretty good place to satisfy your Taiwanese food craving if you're not in Taiwan. I ordered stinky tofu because I miss Taiwanese stinky tofu. It's not the same, but it's pretty okay when it comes to the texture and the taste. It could be a bit more flavourful, but I would order it again. I also ordered the spicy wonton noodle soup with thin noodle. I loved the noodle, it was like ramen. There was quite a bit of noodle in there, and five large pork wontons. The soup broth was not too spicy but it was pretty yummy & creamy as well. I really liked the soup! I also ordered the guava lemon green tea with aloe. There was a little bit too much lemon but it's a great flavour concept. The food came relatively fast, but there was only one server. She did a great job for being really understaffed. Chinese businesses tend to be understaffed a lot which makes it hard on the servers. I suggest to hire more staff! read more

Shave snow anyone? After a satisfying meal at Gen KBBQ, we walked over here to get something sweet and salty. There was no wait for a table so we got seated in a jiffy. It's classroom style seating thus the name, Class 302. Chairs are small and uncomfortable but it's more spacious here than the Irvine branch. Staff are friendlier, more attentive, and easier to communicate to so that's a plus. One thing remains, it's CASH ONLY. There's quite a few choices of shave snow to choose from but I say, create your own! We got the regular shave snow with a side of azuki beans, boba, and fresh mango slices. Let's not forget the condensed milk, of course. The snow consistency is just spot-on. Creamy, silky, and milky! Yumm! The Azuki beans added a nice texture and sweetness while the honey boba was perfectly soft and chewy. What a fun and great dessert this is to share. Yes, please do share...a regular can feed 2-4 people depending on your appetite. I simply can't resist the urge for a drink so I got myself their strawberry milk tea. If I wasn't watching what I was eating, I would've gotten honey boba and egg pudding with it. It's still good but it felt incomplete without the add-ons. The cups here are huge, although it's different and looks fun, I'm not a fan of it. Never was and never will be. Function before form people! It's too big for a car cup-holder so on the way home it spilled all over the car. Major bummer! Came here last night with a few friends for food and their infamous snow. We ordered, food came, we ate. Everything was going well until... my friend finds what looks like a CATERPILLAR in her noodle soup. We're all at the table trying to come up with other things it could be... a mushroom, some kind of weird vegetable. It took a few minutes to finally hunt the waitress down to look at it. The waitress made a disgusted face at what we now believe is a caterpillar and says sorry and goes back to the kitchen to ask the staff. She comes back out, handles a couple cash transactions before coming over to our table to tell us the creature probably came from the vegetables and that they'll comp the soup. GROSS GROSS GROSS. I came to Class 302 over the weekend to satisfy my boba cravings. I've heard great things about their other locations, so I why not try them? We picked up two items: a mango icy and a taro milk tea. You could choose from small or large, but the sizes are more like large and ridiculously large. The boba was nice and chewy. The price is good, especially considering the serving size. A special note is that the extra large fits the cup holders of a Toyota Camry. The large for some reason has an enormous bottom and can't fit the cup holders. If you have tiny un-American cup holders, choose the large drink; otherwise, there will be shrinkage if you put it between you legs. read more
