This is a solid pizza joint. We've tried both crusts and the breadsticks. I definitely prefer the thin crust. It is probably the thinnest crust I've ever seen and is pretty tasty. I was less impressed with the thicker crust, it is a foccacia (sp?) crust and it just wasn't for me. The sauce, however, *is* for me. The perfect blend of sweetness and spice. And the breadsticks are garlic-y, buttery, cheesy goodness. A definite benefit is the price. Last night, we got a 14-inch thin crust and 2 orders of three breadsticks (because who wants to share) and it rang up to $17 and we could pick up the order in 15 minutes. I love this little shop. It's inexpensive and never takes long to get your order. We usually pick up since we live 2 miles away, but even delivery is quick. Their pizza is thin crusted and full of toppings. Get their subs too, classic subs, full of meat. I like their bread sticks, with and without cheese! Did not like their wings though. read more

I looked at reviews and even noticing the recent reviews being 1star, I still ordered, I asked first if they had pizza with thick crust, not thin, the employee said yes we do have that, then I proceeded to order a pizza specifically without thin crust. The order takes about 35-45 mins which is fine, but tipped the driver well, the order was $18 I tipped $12. When I got inside and opened the box it was thin crust. So I called, calm and nice as I have worked in restaurants, and just explained the situation and my un-satisfaction, even explained I'm not going to demand this be fixed now and to send out a new order that's correct ( it was 5 till close when I called and like I said I've worked this industry) he promptly let me know that's not an option lol, although that's what customer service is lol. so I simply asked "is their a way you can work with me here. Unfortunately I paid cash so they could not refund, which is fine, but most importantly the employee I talked too could care less offered to "take care of another order within a week" then as I was about to ask who to talk to or how to be accommodated when I would possibly order again, mid sentence he just hung up the phone. The customer service at this location is piss poor at best. The hours on Saturday night are till midnight. I ordered my pizza around 11 PM and took my time to pick it up. I arrived at 11:57 and the manager (I assume} was in his car with the open sign turned off. He says sorry we are closed but it is not midnight and I already paid for my pizza. He said we tried to call because we decided to close a little early and he cancelled my order. I took the time to drive there which if I charged a delivery fee like they would it would be a few dollars not to mention where was my pizza? I mean they must have made it then decided we will close early and probably take it home for themselves. It certainly was not thrown away. So I am pleased that at a minimum someone got to eat my pizza. Of course the business was out the $19-$20 that it cost but hey that's just bonus pay. I have run several pizza shops and if we close at midnight and we get a call at 11:59 we take the order otherwise what do the hours mean? Additionally the prep and clean up takes a minute before you close up shop so if they are out the door at 11:55 57 58 and they have it all buttoned up then they pre planned bolting early. If I were the owner of this establishment I would not be thrilled. Needless to say I will never be a patron at this pizza shop again. read more

When the food is made correctly it is delicious. Unfortunately, it seems that 80% of the time our order is wrong. If I order a sub plain I expect it plain. That means no dressing! I was just there to pick up a sub for my husband. I ordered it plain. I opened the wrapper and it was covered in dressing. I was told that plain means no vegetables.....not no dressing. Sigh.....In what world does plain mean cover it in dressing? read more

This has been my family's go-to pizza for 20 years, and I consider it to be among the best in the Columbus area. Since we only live a mile down the road, we always order for pick up. The parlor is in a tiny, unassuming building off Sunbury Rd. next to the Duke gas station. I think that adds to its character. I live in Chicago now and pick up a Classic pizza every time I'm back in town. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend the supreme. read more

Unique, outstanding consistent quality. Low range spicy, (depending on topping's, referencing classic pep. here), toppings good compliment to VERY good sauce, price on the lower scale for product, coupons ALWAYS available online. As a connoisseur of the ONLY major food group, (IMHO), you won't be disappointed. I'm very disappointed in this pizza place! I wanted some good food and called before 10pm. To make my order and no one would answer. This is the 3 rd time that this happened. According to the classics website they are open until 11:00pm. I drove up there and they are closed at 10! Very highly disappointed! read more

First off I'd like to state I have been ordering from these guys for years and lately they're customer service has gone down. In this particular case on a monday night it was 20 minutes to close. Upon answering the phone the very rude employee said thanks for calling classics sorry we're closed and abruptly hung up on me. I called back three times with the same result. The funny part is I was about to order a very large amount of food for a last minute get together for some friends. It turns out Donatos answered the phone first ring and took care of me promptly. I will not be ordering from them anymore due to repeated cases such as this. I have always tipped them well and this is the thanks I get. I have always tried to support local business as opposed to big box stores, in this case this business won't support me and my family.
