Bomb! Close in comparison to Boiling Crab. The 3 pound meal deal is such a good deal! You get 2 appetizers included. Between 3 of us it was the perfect amount of food. I forgot to snap a pic of the wings but I HIGHLY recommend. I got both bbq and buffalo, my favorite was definitely the bbq. They don't overdo it on the sauce and the wings are perfectly crisp. Food comes out quick and wait time on a Saturday afternoon wasn't too bad.

My favorite local go to spot when I'm craving shrimp boil. The flavors are delicious, I like the seasoning, the combo of garlic and spices compliments the shrimp perfectly. We usually add sausages and red potatoes to our 1lbs of shrimp. We counted 19 shrimp in our 1 lbs bag. Service is great. All the servers were very nice and tentative. Ambiance is nice, lots of booths and tables to sit at.

Peeled shrimp with potatoes and corn, I got the cannon ball with medium spice level. Garlic fries

My boyfriend and I love coming here! Place is usually not busy and the food is great! We live the garlic fries! If you can't handle spice get mild and lower. Medium is a bit spicy. The sprite was crisp as well! Loved it. The service is good too!

Dinner at Claws for the first time with a friend. I ordered the shrimp with all three flavors. The shrimp was really delicious, strong flavors and fresh tasting, and the service was great. The corn was mushy - which is something I notice to be common for seafood boils - although wish it wasn't.

Catfish fillet was not good. Quality of catfish was poor. The fish was not firm like the catch we have in America. It was a SWIA catfish. Really mushy not flaky.Cajun boil was good . Customers service was bad. Our server was more interesting on watching the tv and their phone than helping us. It was only 3 table that was there. Also he forgot to add our garlic noodle that we ordered. Only seen him twice , taking the order and dropping off food. The host did more work than everyone in there. All the servers suddenly disappeared. Also they charge for sauce when I ordered a side of sausage. Total was $11.25 for sausage with their sauce.

Came back to celebrate my daughter's 25th birthday. It was an 11 person party so we ordered 8 lbs of shrimp along with sausage, potatos and corn. Also came with fries and spicy edamame. Food was great! We were served by Aaron. It was his 4th day working here. He did a great job with serving us.

We ordered the 3lb combo with chicken wings and Parmesan fries. AMAZINGGGG!! So fire well worth visiting. Ordered peeled shrimp and crawfish with the cannonball sauce.. Big crawfish definitely a lot of me and the flavor OMG!!! Do not get the edamame not worth it.. but to each their own, just saying that that's all. We originally ordered that but the flavor was not it somewhat tasteless so we sent it back and they were so nice about it. I will say service and food here and the pricing is amazing.

I absolutely love the seafood boil here. The seasoning is on point and is spicy with flavor. Staff was good at checking the table. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the restrooms. Also the outside sinks were out of order.

The food in this place was PHENOMENAL, flavor was present and food came fairly quickly, everything came in hot which I GREATLY appreciated! However, the bathrooms were SO disgusting and had a VERY foul smell, also our server NEVER came to check on us, she just took our order and we never saw her again, my husband had to ask the host for our bill because our server was nowhere to be found. Apparently she was new but IMO that's not an excuse nor reason. I'm very mixed about this location so I'm not sure yet if I'll be returning. Maybe for a to go order I MIGHT.

Ask the Community - Claws Restaurant

    Can we reserve?

Are you you open? Phone number goes straight to voicemail :(

Are they open, call goes straight to voicemail?

Yes they're open. I think something is wrong with their end of the phone call because it always goes straight to voicemail unless you call like 10 times.

Does anyone know if they are open today? I tried to call but no one answered.

    I believe that are closed!

Does anybody know their hrs of operation? I have been trying to order for days now and nobody answers.

    Current hours are Thursday-Sunday 12-8pm 05/24/2020

    Do they take reservations?

No they do not take reservations

    Do they use msg?

    Nope

Are you guys open on Thanksgiving?

    No they are not

Do they sell their sauce by itself? If so, how much is it?

No, they do not. You would have to purchase one pound of seafood per extra sauce on the side.

She patiently took all our orders with a cheerful attitude and made sure everything was correct. The food was good, came out in a timely manner, and Cindy checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything else. Toward the end of the meal, she kindly split the check per couple, which we really appreciated. The best part? We were surprised with fried Oreos and ice cream on the house--such an unexpected and delicious treat! Then, to top it off, the manager came by and offered us a second round of fried Oreos and ice cream, also on the house. How cool is that? Nice place, good food, and excellent service. The sauce in the bag felt a bit... watered down like it went for a swim before meeting the seafood. For a party of four, we ordered: SHRIMP LOVER COMBO, LOBSTER ROLL, SIDE OF RICE, BASKET OF SEASONED FRIES, AND MAD DOG XXX SAUCE on the side. Portion-wise, we left comfortably full and only slightly questioning our life choices. The Shrimp Lover Combo can't be modified. We chose Stinkin' Special and Spicy, which came with a plastic glove so you can dig in like a civilized gremlin. The Stinkin' Special was a generous blasts of Old Bay and enough garlic to ward off vampires. The Mad Dog sauce wasn't shock-your-soul spicy, but it definitely lingered. I was still feeling its friendly burn hours later and well into the evening. The LOBSTER ROLLL was tasty but fleeting. It's one of those dishes that makes you realize the meal is almost over right when you're hitting peak satisfaction. A little emotional damage there. We wrapped it all up with deep-fried Oreos and ice cream, which was an instant win. Sweet, cooling relief after all that heat. I also super enjoy the $1 shots of soju. It's 6 shots max per person, but that puts you at a nice buzz for your meal. It's fun to sit at one of the covered outdoor tables (make sure you find seats and get the table number before you order, since that's how they tie your order to your table) and face the kitchen ramp. You'll see the servers coming out with tray after tray of amazing looking seafood: whole grilled fish, shrimp, as well as corn on the cob and garlic bread. My friend got the ceviche with tortilla chips, and I got the massive shrimp burrito. Stuffed full of potatoes, gently cooked shrimp, cabbage, tomatoes and some cajun seasoning, it was really filling and is one of the cheaper items on the menu. If you come with a group, the seafood tray seems like the way to go. We saw so many people with them. Shrimp & Chips had food flavor and breading to them but everything came out cold. My only conclusion for this is that we are in outdoor seating and it's always windy here, so I recommend sitting as close to the Kitchen as you can if you want a hot meal. I'm a little saddened that the experience wasn't great despite only hearing amazing things about this place, but I will return when the permanent location opens up.

She did not let me down as we walked in and noticed how truly authentic it was going to look. Chinese decor on the walls and boxes of restaurant supples in the corners. Just as it should be. The bonus was that they had a TV showing the NBA Finals when we arrived. Pretty nice touch and in the back of the restaurant so as not to distract everyone. We went with a couple of our favorite dishes to run along and the Chicken Lo Mein was pretty good. Crispy pieces of chicken and soft noodles and veggies to go with it. We chose to get Mongolian Beef and it was absolutely fantastic. Crispy celery, green onions and decent sized pieces of meat in a terrific sauce. I would love to try to replicate that. My wife wanted a shrimp dish so she ordered the honey walnut and it even looked good to me when they brought it. She loves egg rolls, so she got a four piece and said they were pretty good. My biggest wow of the visit was their vegetable fried rice. MY GOD. If it's busy, it can feel pretty cramped, and you'll probably have to squeeze between tables and chairs to get around. If it's not crowded though, it's much easier to move around. The service was fast, which I appreciated. The only downside was the food runner who brought out our meals. He wasn't very friendly and kind of just set the plates down wherever there was space, even on top of the plates we were already using. It felt a little careless and took away from an otherwise good experience. Overall, the food was definitely the highlight, but because of that experience with the service, it'll probably be a while before I come back.
