It was an ok experience. I like their convenient later hours. But I'm super particular about clothes being nicely pressed after dry cleaning (my laziness for pressing or steaming clothes is half my reason for doing dry cleaning lol), but some of the items still could use some ironing. Cleaners LA is my go to spot for alterations, repairs and cleaning. Alterations: if you want your clothes to fit so perfectly that you want to wear them all the time, you have to 1) spend a few extra bucks to get the fit tailored to you and importantly: 2) also find someone who understands and has a sense of what you're looking for and can communicate it to the people doing the work. Babak and the team at Cleaners LA is unparalleled in their ability to do this. I have been to many many different places to get alterations and this is one of the few places (and the only one I've been to in Downtown LA) that understands and can execute on little tweaks to garments that make them look great and fit perfectly. I've had Cleaners LA work on everything from suits to chinos and jeans to athletic clothing and they consistently deliver the highest quality product. I'm even working with them right now on a completely custom shirt from a pattern that I had made and they are helping with a lot of the design and implementation aspects. Repairs: repairs are great here as well. I've brought in a number of different items of clothing that have gotten fixed up here- suit pants that needed re-weaving, sweaters, shirts, bike apparel (after a fall), a jiu jitsu gi, even a really awesome pair of onitsuka shoes that my wife got in Malaysia and had worn a hole in the canvas heel from wearing so often. Cleaning: if you have laundry or dry cleaning that you want to make sure is taken care of they can take that for you too! I don't use this service as often but it is a bonus in my view that they are a one stop shop for this. read more

I have been going to this cleaners for only a few months - a handful of orders. At a certain point, a cleaners is a cleaners and what sets one apart from another is customer service and a commitment to a promise. The folks who run this cleaners are nice people and, overall, the work is fine. The problem is that, with the limit number of orders they have done for me, they have screwed up about half the time. A particular problem is that orders won't be done when promised. One time they couldn't even find my order. They seem to be in a disarray there - poor organization and filing. Before arriving, I sent photos of the two blankets I needed cleaned to multiples cleaners in my downtown neighborhood (just to do a little quote shopping). Cleaners LA was extremely reasonable! When I showed up, they stayed true to their quote. Art's Cleaners tried to charge me 400% more than Cleaners LA did. Yes, I'm serious. Anyway, my blankets look brand new! Not the easiest location to go to since there is no parking nearby and you can get ticketed at the curb out front, even if someone is sitting in the car. That's the biggest drawback. Other than that, I paid $40 to hem my formal gown (only had 1 layer, they charge more for multiple layers). It took them a week to finish the work. There aren't many people working at a time on the floor, so it may take a little longer to get seen to. I spent about 20-25 minutes waiting, trying the dress on, getting measured, etc. But they're friendly here, they're trying their best, and they do good work. It seems like they're very experienced in the world of knowing how to technically tailor outfits/suits/gowns, so I'd be pretty comfortable bringing anything to them for tailoring. I've got no experience here with their cleaning services, but the lady in front of me came with some pretty soiled clothing, and it sounded like they were being very honest with what they could and could not accomplish. Tl;dr Cleaners LA is fantastic! 10/10 would go there again. I needed a pair of pants taken in around the waist and hemmed with original hem, and another pair of pants needed a simple repair. Having recently started a new job in DTLA, I wasn't sure where to take my pants so that they wouldn't get screwed up. I'm glad that I took them to Cleaners LA. The prices are very reasonable, and the quality is amazing. When I picked up my pants yesterday, I couldn't even figure out where they had been altered. Parking is a bit tough in this area. While I understand that no business is perfect, this cleaners did not even so much as apologize, take responsibility, or offer to fix it. Cost of the service 3. Time it takes to get your items back I give this place the following grades Quality - A. Garments didn't smell like a bag of chemicals, creases were symmetrical and shirts weren't over starched. Cost - C. Little pricey when compared to the time it takes to get your clothes back Time - F. 7 days? For two shirts, two blouses and a sweater? I should say they provided a time of 5 days (Which is still long) but when I went to pick it up, they said they needed two more days (so aggravating) . Why the delay? Is this an airline? Got some of my kicks cleaned here. $25 a pair. Came out clean and brand new. The worker is a chill dude. I think all the cleaning machines are upstairs. The only down side is parking obviously. Just throw your hazards on, park in the red run in drop your stuff of or pick it up, be in and out in 60 seconds you should be fine. read more

To be honest it was a night mare from literally the Moment i came into the store. I had called ahead of time to make sure they could do my dress for my friends wedding in two days because it was a little too big. They said no problem it'll be a rush fee for you to get it done in time i said no worries as long as it's done in time. It's now the night before the wedding i had been promised my dress by 6pm it's close to 7 and here i am waiting for my dress. They Even made me pay for the dress before picking it up. Which i thought was weird but now it makes sense because they're scammers. It's close to 7pm and I'm waiting here late to leave for my friends wedding because i paid for a rushed dress and it's still not ready so I'm just standing around and i have to drive 10 hours for my friends wedding this is ridiculous. What a joke. I wouldn't refer someone here if it was the last cleaners on earth. I wish i never brought it here this place is a joke. Worst customer service ever and the curly hair guy with the bowl cut on his head is the rudest most unrealistic person to work with ever.
