Nice spot in a good area. I came for brunch with a few friends on a Sunday, and there was no wait, which was really nice. We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere. They have a good variety of brunch options. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, which were just average. I honestly wished I had ordered what my friends got instead. The grits were really good, though. Our server was friendly, and while the service was a bit slow, it wasn't too bad since we were catching up. Overall, it's a decent place to try, especially if you're with friends and not in a rush. read more

Prices reasonable, attentive wait staff. The food is miserable. Bennie muffins were soggy, one plate had badly burnt to black potatoes and another plate with potatoes that were cold. The manager brought out replacement potatoes that were luke warm and smelled like garbage. read more

The coffee great. I like mine on the stronger side and theirs hit the spot. The corned beef hash was seasoned perfectly and their potatoes are delicious. They have a Bloody Mary that looks amazing. It had a little slice of grilled cheese, chicken nugget, and shrimp. I will go back to try it. Our server Julie was attentive while getting slammed with the morning rush. Definitely a 10. read more

Came here for brunch! And it did not disappoint! Our waitress was so attentive - recommended the fried chicken waffles which needed up being our favorite! It's perfect for brunch followed with a beach visit - there's an access point one block away. The indoor area is so nice! And they even have a patio if you have a pet! We had the their amazing maple glazed fried chicken (yesss you heard right!) it was perfectly crisp and filled with white meat! The waffles added the perfect amount of sweetness! We also had the cinnamon bun French toast! It was delicious! I ended up eating the French toast as the base to the fried chicken:D overall 9/10 read more

Arrived and was able to get a couple of bar seats. Our bartender greeted us and was very attentive. I had to lobster roll and grilled vegetables. The lobster roll may be one of the best I've had in florida. My wife had a tuna bowl and said it was excellent. It's a great spot on the beach and will definitely visit again. read more

This GEM is off historic Cleveland St--they have the most CHARMING atmosphere...especially the Italian garden themed room with sky lights, pergola, and fountains too! It's splendid! We headed here after our sea screamer dolphin tour. It was busy but we were seated right away. We had an excellent server and our lunch was really delicious. I had the blackened seafood medley and my wife had the grouper Reuben. FYI if u come right at noon they are switching from breakfast to lunch menu and it may take a bit longer but definitely with the wait. read more

Of all of the places I dined while in FL for my recent work trip, this was by far my very favorite. Let's start with the ambiance. Who doesn't like a "beachside" cafe. Cute decor! Fast paced! People watching. There was life here and I was digging it. Next, service. It was on point. Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable but most of all one friendly human being. I hung on every word as she was dynamic, expressive, and she made a "busy coming across the bridge" story seem exciting as she knew she was arriving and going to make money! The food though, OMG, some of the best I have ever had small plate/app wise! We had dinner plans with our work folks, but I wasted no time ordering the Coconut Shrimp which were exceptional, Thai Chicken flatbread, the Hot Honey Pepperoni flat bread, and my husband got the tacos. All were divine, but that Thai Chicken flatbread was beyond exceptional. The fresh ginger on top was a solid choice for the peanut sauce and that chicken, which was amazing! I give this 5 stars, but I'd would gladly give them 20 more! Everything was top notch and I wished I could pack them up and bring the entire restaurant back home with me. I would go back every day if they were right around the corner. You MUST check this place out! read more

Excellent pancakes, eggs were delicious and waffles as well. We ordered the bagel sandwich, California eggs Bennie , square deal meal and kids pancakes. These were some of the best pancakes we had in a while. We got sat down quick and the food came out fast which is a plus with little kids. Overall the service was fantastic. The place was buzzing with people eating and leaving looks like it is busy all day with live music at some point. We did order a Bloody Mary and I would not recommend it . Great cafe spot and had a great variety of food. My boyfriend and I came for a late lunch and luckily had made it in time for happy hour. Our server was funny and efficient and also helped with drink recommendations. I had the 3 Daughters Orange Cream and it was flavorful. We ordered the grouper nuggets that came fresh with a tasty avocado aioli I had the soy ginger glazed salmon entree and the salmon was cooked perfectly and the rice was soft. My boyfriend also enjoyed his Mandalay chicken entree, the cream on top was delicious. Great food, definitely a spot to check out! read more

Went out to the beach to meet friends of ours for dinner . This place was great. Our waiter, Robert, was one of the best we have had in a long time. Being at the beach, the ambiance was great, we parked in the free parking lot. My wife had the birria bowl . I had the turkey club wrap. Never eating here before, I didn't think the bowls would be this good. It's a restaurant in a strip center at Clearwater beach. I wish I got my own bowl. My wife never finishes a meal , so I finished hers. The turkey club wrap I got was good, the bowls were better! The food, drinks and overall service were great! Will eat at this establishment again and will recommend this place to others. It's right across the street from hulk hogan place brother. read more

This was a solid place for breakfast. Our server was friendly and the food was good! I got the burrito sonora and my husband got the banana Nutella crepes. My burrito was super good and he enjoyed the crepes but wished the portion size was larger especially for the price. The place was busy but we were seated promptly. Went for an early thanksgiving lunch and got the braised short rib grilled cheese and all I can say is everything with short rib will be amazing here. It's perfect every time. Our server was such a kind person! They were always smiling and seemed happy to help us even though they had to be patient to get my whole family's order. I got the breakfast quesadilla and I enjoyed it! I'm a big quesadilla fan. I liked the sour cream and salsa on the side. Went here for my friends 21st birthday breakfast and it was amazing. Got sat right away at a freshly cleaned table and our waiter was quick to come help us. A 5 star restaurant in our opinion. The menu is very diverse with so many options. Kristina L was our server and really made our night enjoyable. she explained the menu in detail, as well as the specials of the night. my wife and I had the Black Grouper special and the Tuna Nique salad. both were delicious.. First night in Clearwater, staying at the Sandpearl and of course I made dinner reservations at Clear Sky Cafe. I had the grouper dish with risotto and I am NOT disappointed. The spinach on top was perfectly seasoned and steamed. The grouper was absolute perfection! I was over the moon with my meal and the service by all!!!!!! Wish they had one in Colorado, where I live. Made a reservation on a phone. The lady was really charming and polite. Our server was very nice and super helpful. The menu had verity of food to select from. We ordered chicken wings for appetizers. The wings were delicious and generous portion size to share. We ordered seafood jambalaya and Cobb salad with fried shrimp. The shrimp was really tasty and crispy! The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious. We ordered chocolate cake for dessert. The food here is normally better. Today crab eggs bennie was not good. The eggs were hard, hollandaise sauce dried out, muffin soggy, crab very strange, and the potatoes not crisp. The weekend bloody mary bar is the best part. I would not have eaten it. My friend eats everything and just said it's okay and I was hungry. read more

This place was highly recommended by people at the conference so we decided to check it out. When we arrived we were greeted and told they'd be a wait of 15-20 minutes which we were okay with. While we waited, we sat on a table that looked like a waiting bench but turned out to be an actual table. When the waiter saw us sitting there he asked if we wanted to stay there (outside) and we agreed to, so the wait was more like 7 minutes. Our waitress gave us a few recommendations and after some thought I decided to get the chicken piccata with a side of mash and asparagus and fries (yes!). The chicken was juicy and moist, the sauce complimented the chicken and the mash. It was delicious! The fries were also perfect and crispy. The only downside was that because we were outside, it was a little windy so our food got cold almost immediately. It was good regardless but I imagine that warm it must be way better. There an entrance to the beach from there too. I walked over when the sun was setting and another breathtaking sunset. read more

We've had meals here on past trips to this area - had breakfast there today and were really disappointed. Quality of food across the board was below average - the smoked salmon had significant brown/grey patches throughout - sausage gravy was awful and had to be sent back. Portion sizes were really odd - a double serving of bacon is two slices!?!? In what universe is one slice of bacon a serving. Toast slices were mini - two slices of their toast combined didn't make up the size of a single slice of bread. Overall it seems like a place that's trying to cut corners everywhere. My advice - go somewhere else for breakfast. read more

Clear Sky Restaurant in Clearwater Beach is a very good place with a great atmosphere, great staff, and most importantly, great food. I visited on a Saturday for brunch and although there was a line out the door, we only waited about 20 minutes which was totally worth it. Our server Danielle was amazing and very attentive. She made the experience even better by providing impeccable service. The menu options at Clear Sky Restaurant are endless, and we tried several items. The mimosas were great and a perfect way to start our meal. In addition, we also had fresh squeezed orange juice which was very good. The heart attack biscuit, which is three eggs your way, fried chicken, gravy, and cheese served on a buttermilk biscuit, was nothing short of amazing. The biscuit was perfectly crispy and the combination of flavors was just perfect. We also tried the Mexican Skillet which is a skillet with Chorizo sausage, guacamole, sour cream, pepper jack cheese, and a side of ranchero sauce. This dish was bursting with flavor and definitely one of our favorites. The chicken burrito was equally impressive with grilled chicken, two scrambled eggs, peppers, onions, cheddar-jack cheese, topped with guacamole, sour cream, and ranchero sauce, served with homestyle potatoes. The dish was filling and delicious, with each ingredient complementing the other perfectly. The Beignets & Berries was a delightful and light dessert that I highly recommend ordering for the table during brunch. This deep-fried French pastry with fresh berries and caramel, topped with powdered sugar, was a perfect end to our meal. I also recommend ordering the breakfast potatoes crispy as they were the perfect accompaniment to all our dishes. Overall, I highly recommend Clear Sky Restaurant in Clearwater Beach. We had such a wonderful dinner experience at Clear Sky Cafe! Kristina and Rashid were amazing and provided excellent service from start to finish. When we first arrived, we chose to sit outside but changed our minds due to noise. The vibe outside was very different than inside, just a more lively and inside was a little quieter and calmer. Take your pick!!! They moved us inside without any hesitation and were so kind and accommodating about it. I am currently following a strict low-FODMAP elimination diet, which can make eating out extremely stressful. Kristina was incredibly helpful and patient with all of my questions and concerns, especially regarding gluten, dairy, garlic, and onion. She went back to the kitchen multiple times to check ingredients and even helped brainstorm possible substitutions so I could still enjoy my meal safely. I ended up ordering a margarita-style pizza with olive oil, mozzarella, basil, and bacon, and it was great! Every time Kristina came to the table, she asked whether I had any additional questions and made sure I felt comfortable with everything I was eating. She was also funny, friendly, and genuinely made the entire experience much less stressful. My family was still able to enjoy meals that looked amazing, while I felt completely taken care of. It can be very difficult to eat out with strict dietary concerns, but Kristina and Rashid made the experience so much easier and more enjoyable. I truly could not have asked for a better experience. I will definitely ask for their help again the next time I visit. They make a great team, and this is an overall fantastic restaurant! read more

Beware of this location! The Dunedin location does a much better job with the food. Different menu, much better selections. Over priced for drinks, same as the draught haus but it makes it ok if I'm getting good food. Balsamic glaze blue cheese kettle chips were more of a bowl of balsamic soup with a blue cheese n chip garnish. Ordered the booze burger and was served with a thai satay sauce. Sent the burger back, only to have the server tell me that the kitchen wants to know if they can use the same patty and just scrape off the sauce and toppings. As I thought to myself, why do I want someone handling a patty that I already took a bite out of, I should have said yes because my second "rare" burger came out well done. Bloody Mary bar has great selections, however, the bartender was very slow and by the time I got mine dressed and ready to consume, half the ice was melted. Tip: don't do a Bloody Mary bar out in the sun! Luke warm toppings and mixers is not very appetizing! Overall grade, D-. I've heard and read so many great things about this place. 800 sq ft of sitting on top of each other is not a good time for me. Not to mention the tourist next to me feeding the seagulls. One more tip, I don't have respect for mangers that sit outside and smoke when your on a wait. Good luck at your next job! read more

Ate there 4 days in a row just this week with the family, and all 4 times were really, really good. Staff was very attentive and friendly (thanks to Spenser, Joel, Luigi and our first waitress whom I forgot the name, sorry dear), and food was top notch. At first glance Clear Sky seems more like a regular beach joint, one you find at any beach area with live music, but no, they are absolutely a few steps above that (not that there is anything wrong with it). I mean, I had their pork chop and it was perfectly cooked and with a mustard sauce out of this world (+fingerling potatoes and a oven baked tomato - yummmm). The mussels we had the last day (white wine/garlic) were also fantastic, worthy of a Michelin star (no kidding) - and they brought us fresh extra garlic toasts to finish up the abundant broth. Live music outside was fine, but a bit loud (our choice though as there was plenty seats available inside. Only thing I could say is a negative (and the reason we did not seat inside), is the outdated décor, but wouldn't take a star out because of it. Anyway, congrats to the chef and all staff. BTW, thanks for the free lava cake you gave us for my daughters birthday, it was very much appreciated. Will be back soon as we travel to Clearwater often and stay right across the street. read more

I have taken my visitors from out of town to visit this establishment RELIGIOUSLY for the past 2 years, since moving here. After the service I received this weekend, I WILL NOT be returning. My server, NICOLE was condescending, completely inattentive and overly RUDE! Any time we asked a question regarding the menu, her response was, "Read the description". I had already read the description and wanted a little clarification, which she was unwilling to provide. She then forgot to put in my husbands' order and when we pointed this out, she stormed away and returned to tell us that we never ordered it!!!! She never once apologized or tried to make our dining experience pleasant in any way!! I can not even fathom how she gained employment here or made it through training. She then took it upon herself to add gratuity to our bill, when we were only 4 people! I didn't notice at the restaurant and tipped her on top of that, and she never bothered to point out that we DOUBLE TIPPED her ACCIDENTALLY. I am guessing she does this often. The whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will be taking my company to Caretta on the Gulf, where the customer is ALWAYS right and treated with respect. read more

One of our favorites in Clearwater. The menu is extensive, so good for families with "picky eaters". I had the Blackened Grilled Seafood mix. You get 3 shrimp, 3 scallops, and a generous filet of fish served with grilled veggies and rice. Our waitress (Rachel) recommended an upgrade to grouper as the fish and Diver scallops. I accepted and was glad for the recommendation. It did cost about $12 extra. The food was excellent. It comes with a spicy mayonnaise dip, which I liked also. I had one of the cheaper Chardonnay's, and it paired well with my dinner My wife chose the Cajun Chicken Pasta, and she was very happy with the food. She could not finish the entire bowl. The kids got the flatbread Hawaiian pizza and the BBQ stack burger. The fries with the burger were like a hybrid of waffle fries and potato cakes; they were very tasty! Great experience, great service, great food. We will be back for sure. Ps we ate at Frenchys original the previous night. No comparison in our opinion. Frenchys smells strongly of seafood upon entrance. The seating is too close proximity, and the servers were overwhelmed. The margaritas were tasty. read more

My family and I recently dined here, and our experience was beyond amazing. We chose to sit at an outside table under an umbrella, which provided a lovely atmosphere for our meal. The service was exceptional, thanks to our sweet and attentive server from Pennsylvania (I wish I could remember her name!). She ensured we had everything we needed throughout our visit. I started with a strawberry mimosa, which was delightful. A quick tip for those sitting outside: the heat can get to your drink, so don't hesitate to ask for some ice if you need it. For my main course, I ordered the lobster omelette, and it was phenomenal. The portion of lobster in the omelette was perfect, and it was cooked to perfection. The grits that came with it were equally fantastic. Our son had two eggs with cheese, grits, and sausage, and he devoured his meal. My husband ordered the Huevos Rancheros, which he described as very satisfying. He says it had the flavor that he was expecting in a Latin genre of breakfast. Overall, our experience here was wonderful, and we will definitely be returning the next time we're in Clearwater. Highly recommended! read more

Beware of this location! Go to Dunedin if you want good food from this brand... We waited 20/25 min to sit, server did a good job, kitchen not so good. Ordered a burger rare, made the wrong burger, then asked if they could scrape off the toppings and re-use the same burger with the correct toppings, after I already had abite out of it. As bad as that sounds, I should have said yes because my second "rare" burger came out well done. Balsamic glaze chips with blue cheese on top was more of a bowl of balsamic soup and very little BC. Tip: don't do a bloody Mary bar with ice in the glass! Give the glass with vodka, then let the bar serve the ice prior to adding toppings. Super nice girl but way to chatty with everyone to finish my time sensitive drink. Tables way to close together! I enjoy sitting in public eating, I don't enjoy sitting so close to the tables on either side of me that I can smell their breath. Very pricey for food and drinks for fast food at best. I came to Clearwater Beach from the Northeast 2 years ago. The first place I ever went was Clear Sky recommended to me by a realtor. It has become my home away from home I work in the medical field, therefore, I am not home much. Clear Sky became my 2nd family. I got there at least 3 times a week. I enjoy the happy hour with 1/2 pizzas, however, I love the booze burger with the whiskey sauce and black and bleu fries. Also, when I had family in town, we had entrees which were wonderful with the best calamari you could have. I highly recommend it. Coming from the Northeast, sitting on the patio with the sun shining and being able to see the gulf goes without saying. I highly recommend Clear Sky for a fun, friendly atmosphere with great servers and great food. read more

I had a nice meal here last night, great location on beautiful Clearwater Beach. Th efood was delicious, I had a flatbread Pizza and an app at the bar. Service was excellent at the bar, nice good looking chap, very friendly, even as he was being berated by who I thought was a drunk obnoxios patron, and turned out to be the owner. What an ass! This guy needs to get some anger management or get off the bottle?? I am a local resident on Clearwater Beach and dine here at least once a week and each and everytime I have friends or family visit. My 8 year old twin grandsons won't go anywhere else and have said to everyone that Clear Sky has the best Pizza ever!! I love the calamari salad and any of the seafood items. You can't beat the happy hour specials that feature 1/2 price pizzas !! The service is always friendly and attentive and themanagement makes you feel special. oh!! My daughter went online and found this place since it's our first time visiting were not sure what we were going to see. When we got there were seated outside which was nice, not a big place cozy and small. I liked our waiter RIO she was really nice she knew the menu and did recommend a lot from it, I had the seafood jambalaya had to add more spice (I like it spicey) was looking for red beans but everyone makes it different, food was good it was pricey (just a heads up). We are vacationing in Clearwater beach and randomly chose to eat here. What a happy accident! Our server, David was very professional and passionate about the food here. The restaurant was also very kid-friendly, which we were worried about before we arrived. I had the amazing Korean Short Rib which just fell apart it was so tender. Stopped for a quick bite to eat. Joel our server was very informative and helpful with making suggestions for appetizers and the evening specials. The tuna nachos are simply amazing.The portion size is large enough for the whole group. Our main entrees came out looking very nicely presented. The blackened seafood plate was delicious. It was our first time visiting Florida, especially Clearwater. We had made a reservation at Clear Sky Cafe at 5:30, but we had got in early before our reservation time and they were able to sit us down. Our waiter was Rio she was very friendly and recommended delicious food that we should try especially the drinks which were my favorite including the hush puppies and Mahi dish. If you get a chance go to this place and have the bloody Mary oh my gosh best around here I've had since I was in New Orleans. I do like the steak and eggs it's kind of cold updated the filet we could be a little bigger but I'm a big eater. I said at the bar when I go there and I got a Telya the bartenders at home and sweet kind and very helpful. Good friend of mine Brad is there multiple times a week. He anticipated our every need and went above and beyond in our expectations. There were no issues with the bill and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant itself if beautifully decorated. The sunset was stunning and the drinks were tasty. Everyone enjoyed their food and the steak (unfortunately not pictured) was the standout. It came with a chimichurri sauce that was so good. If you're in the Clearwater area and looking to treat yourself to a nice meal and dining experience, you'll have to visit SHOR!

Crabby's was exactly what we were looking for. The sunset views over the Gulf were absolutely beautiful, creating the perfect setting for dinner. The food was excellent--I had the locally caught Cajun red grouper, which was fresh, perfectly prepared, and one of the best meals I've had on this trip. The plantains were also outstanding. What really made the evening special, though, was our server, Tom. He struck that perfect balance of being attentive without hovering. He was warm, personable, and made us feel like regulars even though it was our first visit. Great service like that makes all the difference. Between the food, the atmosphere, and Tom's hospitality, this was one of the highlights of our Clearwater vacation. We'll definitely be back. The live musician was also pretty amazing too!! From the beginning, the staff, the atmosphere, the food, and the scenery is top notch. Justin was a quick and efficient waiter. He recommend me the grouper cake, which wasn't an option I thought of and he nailed it! The veggies were outstanding, the rice delicious, and the grouper cake amazing. My wife got the surf n turf. The smelled and tasted fresh enough though. I would not get those again. The pie looked amazing! I didn't like it though. I'm not big on sweets and this was very sweet. I was hoping for more lime and tartness. I know we will be back on our next beach visit.
