We will come again every time we are in town! We had our girlfriends gathering here for brunch but we missed it by 15 minutes (ends at 1). we loved everything about it. The tuna bowl was excellent so was their octopus. Coconut shrimp was delish! So was the Caesar wrap. They sat us outside because of our large group and we were perfectly cooled by their large outdoor A/C and ceiling fans. Excellent pancakes, eggs were delicious and waffles as well. We ordered the bagel sandwich, California eggs Bennie , square deal meal and kids pancakes. These were some of the best pancakes we had in a while. We got sat down quick and the food came out fast which is a plus with little kids. Overall the service was fantastic. Great cafe spot and had a great variety of food. My boyfriend and I came for a late lunch and luckily had made it in time for happy hour. Our server was funny and efficient and also helped with drink recommendations. I had the 3 Daughters Orange Cream and it was flavorful. We ordered the grouper nuggets that came fresh with a tasty avocado aioli I had the soy ginger glazed salmon entree and the salmon was cooked perfectly and the rice was soft. We've had meals here on past trips to this area - had breakfast there today and were really disappointed. Quality of food across the board was below average - the smoked salmon had significant brown/grey patches throughout - sausage gravy was awful and had to be sent back. Portion sizes were really odd - a double serving of bacon is two slices!?!? In what universe is one slice of bacon a serving. Toast slices were mini - two slices of their toast combined didn't make up the size of a single slice of bread. Overall it seems like a place that's trying to cut corners everywhere. Being at the beach, the ambiance was great, we parked in the free parking lot. My wife had the birria bowl . I had the turkey club wrap. This place was highly recommended by people at the conference so we decided to check it out. When we arrived we were greeted and told they'd be a wait of 15-20 minutes which we were okay with. While we waited, we sat on a table that looked like a waiting bench but turned out to be an actual table. When the waiter saw us sitting there he asked if we wanted to stay there (outside) and we agreed to, so the wait was more like 7 minutes. Our waitress gave us a few recommendations and after some thought I decided to get the chicken piccata with a side of mash and asparagus and fries (yes!). The chicken was juicy and moist, the sauce complimented the chicken and the mash. It was delicious! The fries were also perfect and crispy. The only downside was that because we were outside, it was a little windy so our food got cold almost immediately. It was good regardless but I imagine that warm it must be way better. Clear Sky Beach Café was absolutely packed when we dropped in for breakfast - every table full, even the bar - but it never felt chaotic. On an oddly cold, windy morning in Clearwater, it was also a very welcome haven from the chill, warm and lively without being too loud. The coffee is solid and serviceable, but the food is where this place really shines. Presentation is simple but beautiful, and everything tasted very fresh. The fruit bowl came with a generous amount of fruit, and the granola leaned into walnuts and shredded coconut with just enough oats to feel tropical but still wholesome and fiber-forward. The berries and beignets were a standout. The beignets were flakier and fluffier than usual, making the dish feel light and breakfast-appropriate rather than overly sweet. The caramel and powdered sugar were used sparingly - just enough to complement the fresh berries without overpowering them. Service was impressively attentive given how busy it was. Our waitress was clearly juggling a full section but still checked in and refilled coffee. Paying the check was quick and easy with table-side handheld payment, and we never felt rushed or had to flag anyone down. The place is hit or miss. I've had pretty pleasant dinners there in the past, but, last night, I was served a raw ribeye. When I pointed it out to the waitress, rather than displaying contrition and concern that they had failed to safely cook their meat, she was rude and condescending. Now, I understand that in Florida you are probably bombarded with retirees sending meat back because it isn't burnt to a crisp, but this was literally raw. It would have been a health hazard to eat it. And, regardless, even if you disagree with my assessment, you are supposed to keep that to yourself ("The customer is always right."). I'm not quite sure it was pear versus pomegranate but it was good. It was hard to choose which seafood omelette to get with all of the amazing options. Search out this restaurant on you guessed it, yelp started with the tuna nachos and the char grilled octopus both good appetizer to start. Grill tuna and sushi bowl as well as the braised short rib for the entrees. Entrees were all good my braised short rib was very tender and seasoned well. We're back! I absolutely love this diner. Came back here to Clearwater Florida for Phillies spring training and was so excited to come back to this cafe. Ordered the lobster omelette and a coffee and it was so delicious. Our server was so nice and attentive. We always get great service here at this cafe. We were seated outside and the weather was beautiful while enjoying the food. Vibes were just amazing here.
