Cleveland Draft House is one of our FAVORITE spots in the area! The food is always - and I mean ALWAYS - amazing. Some personal favorites are definitely the fish sandwich and the chicken parmesan sandwich but I've sincerely never had a bad meal there. This place is the twilight zone! We went in Saturday about 5 and sat at the bar and the two bartenders were very nice, then it went downhill. The other bartenders started trickling in. The service went away. We were then ignored for a good 10 minutes to order food because they were all drinking a new liquor on tap. The one bartender loves to drop f bombs, the other was showing everyone her phone and something that happened to her dog, the other was so stoned out of his mind I don't know how he could function, and the other was vaping while working. No one asked how the food was- which was sub par at best. The chicken was chewy and fries were stone cold. Service was okay but besides that this was probably one of the worst restaurant I've been too the fried pickles were unbelievably salty, the "Hot" wings had no flavor. The onion rings had to much batter and wasn't cooked all the way nothing that we tried was actually appetizing. read more

We have been here 3 times allowing the opportunity for the draft house to redeem themselves. The beer and selection is great! The food not so much. Worst server ever. Just a suggestion... if the service is slow... don't say " It'll be ready when it's ready". That crawled all over me. Things happen and customers do understand when it's put to them in a way that lets them know the server actually cares. I have been to the Drafthouse at 40/42 and always had good food, good service. The Clayton experience was very different. It started off well, getting our drinks quickly and submitting the order. But it was an hour before the food came out. The waitress abandoned us. Other servers brought the food. Even then it came two orders at a time for a party of seven. The folks next to us had their order come out in two trips, 15 minutes apart. The chicken was definitely not " blackened", more like just cooked and over-seasoned. While waiting for our food, a horrible noise came from the bar. It turned out to be one guy "playing" electric guitar and making a painful noise that was supposed to be singing. I recently visited Clayton and checked out this food joint. The food was very delicious and they got my order exactly right! The tall foodrunner with brown hair is amazing, he had tentative service throughout the whole time and had good manners. They had a huge liquor and beer selection, which my husband absolutely loved! Cool establishment that offers a nice blend of dining and pub style atmosphere. Great beer selection, including plenty of local selections. The food is well prepared and tasty. The ribs are my favorite. There are two separate areas - a dining room only area, and a sports bar area with pool tables and plenty of TVs showing all the games. Great place to hang out with friends for a few drinks, or to bring your family for dinner. NO SERVICE AFTER 40 MINUTES. MANAGER DIDN'T CARE. Arrived at 6pm Friday evening. Sat on the patio. 20 minute wait and no service or menus. Others on the patio were waiting as well. Bar tender came out with some patrons, they sat down, he took their order, he ignored everyone else sitting at tables on the patio that had been waiting a long time, he turned and left. Turns out no server is specifically assigned to the patio so it is random who and when they go out and what tables they serve. Ok, so in we go to the bar area high tops. The table was dirty, not wiped down. Server came by, she wiped the table, gave us menus. She dropped off waters, we explained our patio story. She apologized, explained the lack of clear assignments for patio service, said she would be back in a minute to take our order. 15 minutes later, 40 minutes after walking in, she had yet to come back, we left, never to return again. On the way out the door we asked for the manager...he was standing right there chatting with the hostess rather than managing his restaurant on a Friday evening (clearly he needs to be walking around giving his servers some pointers!). He just said sorry as we walked out the door. Have you ever had service that bad before??? The entire lot of them aught to lose their jobs or go through retraining on customer service. Nobody expects no service after 40 minutes. The restaurant was maybe half full at the time so it wasn't that they were crazy busy. Something is not right here. Poorly trained servers. Lack of clear responsibility for the patio tables. A manager that is not on top of his wait staff (hey, after 40 minutes we should have seen the manager walk by at least once?). Sad to see a business run so poorly. ...oh and all the manager can say as we walk out is "sorry". What about "dinner is on us, let me personally take care of you?"....no that would take effort and a manager that cares. Sad. I hope the owners wake up and turn it around. read more

We love the Garner location so we decided to try the Clayton location because they have more taps. BIG MISTAKE. The wait staff was horrible. Our food order was brought with NO tableware. Unfortunately, we didn't notice until the server was gone (put the food down and took off). We sat, trying to get somebody's attention then finally went to the waitress "station" and got our own. Sitting with an empty glass for 20 minutes is bad, but when you are eating, it's ridiculous. Trying to wave at a waitress was ineffective so we finally held our glasses over our heads, hoping somebody would notice. It didn't work. We probably won't go back to this location. read more

I came here to celebrate with a couple of friends for my 21st birthday. It was a great venue, very clean and not to crowded. We were very excited to have a fun night out. However, When we arrived the female bartender was very bland and didn't give us great service. We asked for a drink suggestion and we were given idk.... the drinks are VERY overpriced. One shot of crown and cranberry juice was $8. Not to mention the female servers were very rude when we went to order food. They do not try to make the experience enjoyable. She walked off before I finished telling her my order... Then came back and asked for a credit card to put on file in the middle of us eating incase we would walk out without paying... On the plus side, The food was very good and came out very quick.... Overall, This place really needs some help in steering their service in the right direction, it ruined the whole experience. If I could give negative stars I would. I've never in my life had to take my dinner home because everyone at my table got their food correctly and ate it before I got my remake back to the table. I got the blackened chicken alfredo, no broccoli sub mushrooms. Server entered no tomato sub mushroom. The plate went back, they took the broccoli off, poured more sauce on top so I wouldn't notice and still had no tomatoes. The same plate was brought back twice to me, why they couldn't grasp I wanted tomatoes and mushrooms just baffles me. The time we came before this was the day you get $1 off each sandwich, the server charged us full price, then fixed it, charged our card again, and days later the cheaper price got taken off of our card, the manager came and talked to me tonight and didn't even seem to care that much. Our experience on 12/17/2021. We ( Senior Citizens ) had the worst Waitress ever. We had to continually, request Tea and wave to her, to get what we needed. After getting appetisers we had to actually, specifically request napkins and silverware, so we could dine. After a very long wait time for our Entrees, we finally got them. The Burger I ordered was burned black and the baked potato was unwrapped and cold. After taking two bites of both, I sent entire meal back and requested to not be charged. The so called "Manager" made zero effort to come speak to us and according to the Waitress, only deducted $6.00 off the bill. This was after the Waitress had dared to question me and argue that the burger was prepared exactly the way I'd ordered it. Instead of ordering two more meals to go, which we had planned, we boxed our leftovers and took the bill to the front register. The belligerent Waitress followed us and angrily complained that she was supposed to process our payment. She then processed it, then angrily slammed down the receipt and my visa card on the counter! Well, this aggressive, angry attitude and disrespect toward us, especially after having sent back an entire meal, directly resulted in no tip, absolutely zero. So, as we turn away and begin to exit, the Waitress shouts out "Merry Christmas, Asshole" ! Again, the Manager never came to speak to us about sending a meal back or if there was anything that could be done to satisfy. What an extremely memorable and disappointing dining experience! Horrible! Based on our experience tonight, I definitely Do Not Recommend Cleveland Draft House. Don't expect too much when giving this establishment your business and perhaps you'll even be called an Asshole, on your way out the door. I believe, if a Police Officer had not been standing there, in the front lobby, that waitress would have physically assaulted me. She was Livid! ( We said nothing. My wife and I went in last night for a bite to eat at this establishment. Our server was very friendly and since it was our first time she helped go over the menu with us and answered all our questions. This review has nothing to do with our service or the food, but with the management. We were interrupted during our meal by loud yelling and arguing occurring just feet away from our table. An older woman, I presume a manager since she was dressed differently, was yelling at two of the waitresses, including ours in front of the entire dining room. If this is how issues are resolved at this restaurant, we will not be coming back. It was hard to enjoy our meal with this going on in front of us. I suggest finding someone with less temperament or who knows how to handle a restaurant instead of who is acting manager now. read more

Yikes it wasn't good. Sweet fries appetizer was over-fried and tough to eat, Caesar salad was soggy and coffee stale. All of it at 11 am, seconds after they just opened. Maybe it's much better if you drown all of it with beer but if you dont, you are left with lasting after-taste of garbage meal. The ribs here are consistently amazing. I have had ribs all over America and have found none better than these. The meat falls off the bone, and the sauce is quite good. My fiance & I have frequented this establishment since moving to the community. We will NOT be returning, as well as spreading our most recent experience with the surrounding community. We went out Thursday night, to celebrate my fiance's recent accomplishment. We sat at one of the bar booths. Towards the end of our meal, my fiance asked me to turn and look at a gentleman at the bar who was staring at her. I turned, but not far enough. Nearly 5 minutes pass & I see her growing more uncomfortable. So I turn and look again. This time I looked back far enough to see a man staring directly at her, not breaking eye contact for a second. I stood up, blocking his view of her. With our server no where in sight, we walked up to the bar to pay our bill. As we were paying our bill this man stood up, and walked past us, to sit down at the table closest to the exit. As he walked past me I noticed the, rather large, tote bag he was carrying. As we left, this man hollered for our attention, only to tell us that he hoped we'd have good night, as he eyed my fiance up and down one last time. We walked out the door only to find that in the VERY FIRST parking space there was a man sitting in the driver's seat of a utility truck. He watched us walk to our car, never breaking eye contact with me. This experience, although it has nothing to do with the service or employees themselves, is unsettling & in my opinion requires some attention. Unfortunately when we went back to the draft house to share this with the General manager, we were told that not only did he "not have the time" (for paying customers) but that "every manager is just too busy." This type of response, is down right sad, & unprofessional. This situation could have been much worse than it turned out to be. Furthermore, I would think that you would want your customers to feel safe within your establishment. This is no longer the case for my fiance. I'm sorry that you "don't have the time" to discuss an issue such as patron safety within your establishment. I can only hope that upon reading this SOMEONE will take the time to review your DVR. Thursday night, we arrived shortly before 10pm, I was wearing grey shorts, a black polo, and a grey batman cap with a neon bill. My fiance had on blue jean capris and a black shirt. The gentleman we had an issue with was sitting at the bar, two or three people to the right of the gentleman in the salmon colored polo. He was an older guy, grey shirt, and had a baseball cap on.
