    large Wonton Soup
    Serena W.

stopped here for a quick dinner, i ordered a large wonton soup and the vegetable dumplings. Vegetable dumplings here have the cabbage and mushroom filling with the rice noodles. Wonton soup was very good and I have no complaints. large soup has 10 wontons. Overall a really good experience the prices were extremely fair and i'll be back again soon.

Normally, when I write a review, I base it off of everything I experienced while at a location, but it's safe to say, I'm fading this off the incredible food only. I was actually in the mood for a hero, but my usual placed closed down. I noticed "Cloud Asian" on the side and thought, who's not in the mood for Chinese. I mean, I'm not waisting a trip. The parking lot is shared, but big enough if you decide to come. Inside the restaurant, it is dull, not much to the eye. But, I'm ignoring that. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I asked if he can make my sesame chicken crunchy and she said fine, he would have to put the sauce on the side. He went to work making my meal and out it came. When I got home I was surprised, the chicken was in strips and there was plenty. Once I tried it, I was on cloud nine! The chicken tasted like pineapple shrimp! It was delicious. And the sauce for the chicken and a good flavor, that was not too over powering or sweet. It was perfect. Normally, I don't get rice, I'm not a fan, but I forgot to ask without and so far the chicken was excellent. I tried the rice and it restored my like for the starch based substance. I couldn't believe I finish it all. Yo make sure it was the right place I tried the egg roll. That two was incredible. It was stuffed to the max and had a flaky exterior. My meal was excellent. This is my new Nassau County Chinese restaurant. Now, if I could find one this good by my house...

Good local place for dinner. Had Hunan Beef. Reasonably priced. Owner was very friendly.

Cheap and tasteless, just felt the oil in all the food. Wasn't expecting nothing great but this is just too low.

The food had no taste at all. The sesame chicken was all batter and no chicken. The chicken and broccoli was soaked in oil. I won't be back.

Long Island Restaurant Week win!…read more My best friend and I came here for Jade Eatery & Lounge during Long Island Restaurant Week and WOW -- everything was so delicious. The prix fixe menu gave us so much food. Every course came out beautifully presented, full of flavor, and honestly more than enough to leave us satisfied (and then some). From the starters to the entrées and dessert, everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared. The vibe is perfect for a night out -- stylish, relaxed, and great for conversation. This was a girls' night, but I already know I'll be back for a date night with my husband. It's that kind of place. Highly recommend, especially during Restaurant Week -- but definitely worth visiting any time. Can't wait to come back!

The only good thing about this place is the fish pond in the restaurant when you walk in but that's…read moreabout it. The food is probably one of the worst Asian fusion places I've had and I honestly feel like all of the money goes into presentation instead of actual quality. I've been here a few times and for some reason, have been around people that ordered takeout from here a few times so I've given them a chance more times than I should have and they have never delivered. The drinks are okay, definitely another one of those "presentation heavy" style drinks for some simple cocktails but I wont fault them for that. The real problem here is the food. I've ordered a few of their noodle dishes and it's honestly impressive how they manage to avoid having any flavor in their dishes. Like, I dont even know how you can get shrimp to taste like nothing but they've definitely done it here! The chicken I've had in their dishes is without a doubt frozen and if its not flavorless, its definitely rubbery and about as appetizing as eating a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Aside from the fact that their portion sizes are way too small for the prices they are charging. If you want Indian food, there are plenty of better options on the same street and same thing if you want Asian food. If you want to impress someone for about 5 minutes, take them to the actual restaurant, stare at some fish, get 1 drink and then high tail it out of there cause even the fish deserve better food than what they serve here.

The restaurant is medium sized, lots of booths, and was decorated for Valentine's Day. They take reservations and were pretty busy. Service was good, although a little slow at the beginning. I tried the following dishes: Cauliflower Manchurian (3/5): This dish was pretty good, but not amazing. I did enjoy it. Garlic Chili Noodles (3.5/5): Pretty good noodles, not very spicy but good flavor and consistency. Hakka Chili Chicken (4/5): I liked this chicken, but my dining partner did not. The chicken was boneless dark meat, which I really like. You can get it with no, light, or full gravy. We did full and had it with rice. I did enjoy this dish. Overall, I had a pretty good experience at HAKA. No dishes were real standouts, but they were all decent. It is not a bad option for Indo-Chinese in the area.

The menu has both indian and chinese dishes. It's not fusion just two different cuisines being sold. We ordered a roll that came with shrimp tempura, mango and salmon. It was very good, a warm grill that felt like a sandwich. The side galore noodles we ordered were dry and not very flavourful. We ordered shrimp with then and they came with fried/tempura shrimp, which we found odd. There was also egg on the dish but it did nothing for the noodles. We ordered the noodles regular so they should have had some sauce but there was none. The chicken dishes were both really good. The chicken wasn't overly fried or breaded. It tasted fresh and had a good bite to it. I like the spicy garlic chicken a bit more because of the spice. The haka chicken was more of a sweet and salty flavor. Both were tasty. If I'm in the area I'll come back here.

Given the culinary brilliance here, if you order one of your favorites, it'll be done well, but you're better off trying something unique that might not be on the menu at your local Chinese, Indian or Thai spot. Chili tofu and basil ginger fish were two great showcases for the complex spices available here. (I'm a real American hero, I ate fourths since my parents preferred leftovers that didn't have the top spice levels). And if you're spice-adverse yet chili-curious, the honey chili potato is worth a shot. These are essentially fries. Our server, Ten, was amazing. He adeptly handled the multiple time frames of our orders and is ready to provide suggestions for those who didn't spend 40 minutes researching on Yelp. Part 2. I wish there was editing capability for older reviews. I'm a two-sentence guy - are there fish tacos, does it have strange hours of operation and will they sneer at me for wearing Kohls? - and my first Kunga Kitchen attempt was a bit extra. It even had a narrative arc. I'm someone who thinks movies can be better if the character doesn't change or learn anything, but I tried for three-act structure and can't possibly top that original review so it would be better if I could a couple of recent entrees to the first one.
