We just moved to the area and was really worried about our cats because we had to travel somewhere for an event for a few days right after. However, I am very glad we found Club Cat! We actually came in unannounced a month ago during our apartment hunting trip, and the owner, Shana, still gave us a very detailed tour. Ever since that, we pretty much decided to board our kitties here. Shana was very friendly and welcoming, and you can really tell she is doing as much as she can to make the kitties feel comfortable. She put in so much effort into each cat and their space and accommodate every of them. During our trip away from the cats, we constantly looked at the camera they set up on our phone. One of our cats, Oreo, is a lot more shy and scared-y than Brownie, and she kept hiding in her carrier. We could see they tried to help her eat by moving things around, and these little gestures are so important to us because we know they actually care about each kitty. In addition, Shana was very clear about everything during the booking process and during our drop off and check out. She made sure she understood everything the kitties needed during the stay as if they were her own. If you feel unsure just based on the pricing, give them a call and take a tour! Boarding a cat is not ideal but if you need to do it, do it here! So unlike other places. Not cages, but a room of their own. They can climb into a lookout box above the door and we were sent postcards updates daily. Yogi's a big kitten who requires a good deal of attention. I usually board my cat at the Cat Care Clinic (they are fantastic) but the vet is only taking hospital cases due to the pandemic so I had to search for another place and read all of the glowing reviews about Club Cat! I called and spoke with Shana, the owner, who patiently answered all of my questions and offered to give me a tour of the facility, which I took her up on. Shana and her team, went above and beyond my expectations! I received multiple check ins and was relieved to know that my cat was adapting well and everyone seemed to love her! I was sent an email before the drop-off date with everything I needed to prepare for my cat's stay. I was given a QR code to scan and was able to check in with my cat via live video feed and make sure she was eating and moving around the space. On checking in, it was obvious that every cat being boarded was relaxed and happy. The facilities for the cats are clean, spacious, and well-designed, with places for the cats to climb and safe spaces for them to look out and see their neighbors and the CatFlix video, without feeling too exposed. The ability to check in on your cat with the webcam is wonderful, too. The people at Club Cat clearly care about giving each cat personalized attention based on their specific needs. I'm beyond impressed with ClubCat. Shana, Sol, and whoever else I was emailing were FANTASTIC. Before ClubCat, I had never boarded my cats. One cat is 12 and the other is 2. They both are very different and needed separate rooms. My partner and I were planning our move to Washington from SoCal to move, and I was so nervous about the whole process of leaving our kitties behind for a few days. I emailed ClubCat to ask about their facilities and got a call from Shana within a few hours. She was so kind and made me feel way less anxious. I was able to tour the facility and get to see exactly where my cats would be staying while we were away (I also felt comforted seeing the other cats who were staying there and how chill they all looked). In addition to having a safe space for them as we moved, Shana was able to give them a sedative for their flight on the day we picked them up. This made timing so easy and took some stress off my shoulders. When I checked in the kitties, I had a lot on my mind. We had a Uhaul to pick up and a house to pack by 7pm to make our deadlines. We chatted a bit and they ran through everything in detail, but we happened to forgot to set up the camera. It was no trouble at all, in fact we were so busy that I forgot a camera was an option! I emailed ClubCat and they got back ASAP. We were able to set up the camera while I was driving through Oregon. Shana also comped the days we didnt have access, which was so kind of her. I needed a place to board my cat, Milo, for a few days while I went on a staycation. I didn't want to entrust his care to just anyone. I am so happy that I found Club Cat. I love the decor and being a bookworm I appreciated naming the suites after books. I was pleased that Milo had a room to himself, instead of being cooped up in a kennel or cage. Our experience with ClubCat is nothing but spectacular. It was going to be our first time taking our 4 year old Oreo to a pet hotel, let alone being away from us for an extended amount of time. Me and my wife got married as a destination wedding so pretty much everyone who usually takes care of Oreo was not going to be available. We searched extensively on Yelp and Google, but ClubCat just stood out and we can definitely see why. From communication and our first tour visit, they were responsive quickly to emails and calls and encouraged us to visit for a tour. ClubCat really is something special and you can tell the staff really enjoy their work. You get to care and play with cats all day! The rooms, play area, reception area, are all clean, bright, and airy which we really enjoyed. Feliway and air purifiers in use. TVs around the rooms with bird entertainment is just perfect. We loved that all the rooms had glass windows to see inside, some rooms even have outdoor windows which is awesome. What stood out for us is the ability to watch Oreo on a webcam 24/7 -- which we used as pretty much a baby monitor on our iPad and phones all day...everyday while we were gone. It was such a relief to watch all the ClubCat team as they made frequent visits checking up on him, plenty of pets and extended visits, to make sure he was acclimating as the days went on. Play days in the play room and grooming options as well. They diligently keep track of your cats feeding, food intake, urine and bowel movements, etc. As many cat owners know, cats tend to take awhile to get comfortable in new places and we were so appreciative of Shana and the team keeping us informed on his stay. The digital photo postcards made being away from Oreo more bearable and are just plain cute. And i'm sure just fun to draft up haha. My husband and I recently took our first long-ish vacation since the pandemic began. In the pre-COVID times we had a spot to board our cat, but the last time we left her there she came back with a respiratory infection that required antibiotics. We vowed to never use them again. So finally, after 2 years, a new opportunity for Jinx to take a vacation arrived. I did some research on Yelp and found Club Cat. I was instantly drawn in (and entertained) by the literary names of the suites; I was completely sold by the webcam access. The rest were just bonuses. The staff are so friendly and sweet here! The facility is clean and big. Each cat gets their own room, not a cage or crate like most pet boarding facilities. I booked a AristoCat window suite (the "Lord of the Furs" suite) because Jinx is nosy and loves looking out our windows. The suite also came with a balcony overlooking the hallway but I don't think Jinx partook of it, although I wish she did, because it looked like a lot of cats enjoyed it. The webcam is amazing to have and we looked at it often because we wanted to know what our kitty was up to. We also caught plenty of times where the Club Cat staff was playing and loving on Jinx. We also received e-mail postcards from Jinx (with the help of the Club Cat staff) letting us know what she was up to with pictures. They even gave us a goodie bag when she went home, complete with cat nip, a mouse toy (she killed one of her own during her vacation, RIP), and a Jinx magnet. I'm so glad that Jinx was able to stay at Club Cat for her vacation! It's about an hour down the 405 from me to get there, but it's truly worth it. **Warning: This review is pretty lengthy because I just have too many great things to say about this place...** My fiancé (this is my first time getting to type that :D) Crystal and I just returned from our engagement trip to Carmel-by-the-Sea and couldn't be happier with our first experience boarding our three furbabies with Club Cat! Every time we are planning to go out of town, we both get a pit in our stomachs when we think about having to board our cats. We never had any issues with the care at the pet resort we usually take them to, but we were looking for a place that had webcams where we could check in on them periodically and just help put our minds at ease. This is how my fiancé initially found Club Cat. We could tell from the questions asked when we were making the reservation that they were very thorough and we really appreciated that. When we brought our three girls to check in, we met with Kari and Sandy, who couldn't have been sweeter! We were basically a hot mess upon arrival - one of our kitties had an accident in her carrier on the way there and one of them also got sick in hers when we were bringing her in. We felt so bad and wanted to take the carriers home to clean them, but they reassured us that this happens all the time and that they would wash them there. They then gave us a tour, where we first noticed that all three of our girls' names were on an adorable "welcome" sign! So cute! All of the suites are named after classic books, but with with a cat twist! As fellow book lovers, we both thought this was adorable. Our girls stayed in "Brave New Cat" (Spencer and Marvie) and "Catterpurry Tails" (Margot). They have larger suites available that all three could have stayed in together, but Margot is our newer rescue baby and doesn't always see eye to eye (or whisker to whisker) with Marvie, so we booked separate suites to play it safe. Each suite has a cute bed and shelves for them to climb up on. The doors have glass windows so the kitties can check out any action going on outside (and easily be checked in on as well) and a perch with a window above the door so they can climb up there to see out also. They have TVs throughout that play CatFlix to keep them entertained and had calming treatments in each room to help put our babies at ease for their first night. After getting our girls situated, it's never easy to say goodbye, but we left feeling so comfortable in knowing they were going to be well cared for and loved on. During our trip, we received daily postcards via e-mail with pictures of our girls with updates on how they were adjusting, which were so very appreciated! We also spied on them quite frequently and every time we did they were being cuddled and looked completely content. Margot and Spencer are pretty affectionate, but Marvie can be a little shy and take some time to warm up to new people/places. Despite this, we could see she was comfortable and didn't seem stressed at all. We also paid a small extra fee to have a Zoom call with our kitties one of the days we were gone. Kari facilitated the call and couldn't have been more patient and funny (we joked about how silly we all probably sound talking to our pets), but it was so nice to see them, let them hear our voices in real time, and see how happy they were there. Ending a vacation and coming back to reality is always rough, but we were so excited to be reunited with our babies. Shana (the owner - love that this is a woman owned/run business!) and Shannon were there to help us check out and also could not have been nicer. We could have talked to them all day! They helped us get our girls and all their items packed up. They also gave us parting gift bags including a cute magnet with the kitties' photos in them, a toy, cat nip, etc. Talk about going above and beyond...it's the extra special things they do like this here that really show how much they care about their customers and appreciate their business. The only thing we were worried about our entire time away was that our kitties clearly loved it there so much that they probably didn't miss us and wouldn't want to come home! If you're a crazy cat parent like us that worries about leaving your babies when you need to get away, the love and care the entire team at Club Cat provides will help put your mind at ease. So glad I found club cat, it's meowvelous! This was my kitty's first time being boarded and it was a long-ish stay (10 days), drop off was a breeze as was pick up. They noticed how scared she was her first night so they covered her bed with a blanket so she had a little place to hide. It was great being able to watch her on the webcam, i could tell she was definitely more comfortable after a couple days. I loved getting her postcard updates on how she was doing, so cute. There arent enough words to express the gratitude I have for the wonderful people at ClubCat. We are first time kitty parents and as you can imagine had some anxiety when planning our vacation away from our sweet girl for the first time.  We booked our cat's stay online which was pretty simple. They are also very thorough asking your cats specific needs, emergency contacts, and energy level of your cat. The room selections were very cleverly named:). We chose a window suite because out cat loves staring out our windows at home to look at the birds. We were able to tour the facility just my husband and I and were very pleased with the cleanliness and space of the rooms the kitties get. All the cats seemed so content.  They even have a small balcony the cat can climb up to. Leading up to our cats stay, every phone conversation was so pleasant. Shana was always very sweet and understood any concerns I had as she is a cat parent too. My husband dropped off our girl without any issues. They were very thorough asking him questions about our cat and how she likes her food and whatnot. We felt very comfortable leaving her in their care. Our first day on our roadtrip we were put at ease being able to use the webcam to see our precious girl. She seemed so content we even caught them playing with her a few times. One day I saw on the webcam what appeared to be vomit and of course it worried me. I emailed Clubcat and within 30 minutes they answered me ,saying it was just a toy and she was doing great.  We were able to really enjoy our time away because Clubcat takes such good care of their cats there. We boarded our cat here while we were moving locally and it was so nice knowing our cat was in good hands and would come to our new home a happy guy. I scoped out a few other options. While Club Cat was a little more, the quality of the rooms, amenities, services, and ease of booking was far superior to everything else. Also one of the benefits of having a cat is that we don't have to board him very often so we figured we do it right when we had to. I love that it felt like a bright and friendly environment, and the hand painted murals with cat puns were cute. The owner Shana here goes above and beyond. When our moving days got shifted, I was able to add an extra day in with no problem. Our cat also got a little cat sick on the ride over and threw up. As soon as we got there, Shana was very sweet, cleaning up our cat and carrier. The little touches here are nice and just show how all the staff really care about their furry guests. Shana and her team were excellent and I had a great experience boarding my 7 month kitty over thanksgiving weekend. Shana is super personable and a joy to talk to, and the other staff were so pleasant anytime I spoke or emailed with them. We boarded our kitty once before at the vet, and he was pretty miserable the entire time. He's a very active, high energy kitten so after boarding the first time I searched for places where he'd hopefully be happier in the future with more space, attention and play time. We checked on him often through the camera, and he seemed to warm up and settle in quickly. Anytime there was someone attending to him or his suite they were so sweet and gave him lots of attention. Although our fur baby was not the best guest (a.k.a. Hissy McHissyPants), we could not have placed him in a better, safer, cleaner, kinder environment. By far the most appealing element for us was the sheer fact that we were not at all worried about his well being and could check in on the cat-cam at anytime to see him safe and cozy. The staff and owner are fully invested in making the experience, decor, amenities, and 'kitty-suites' first-class. They go out of their way to personalize the check-in, sanitize the room, and create a pet purrfect stay for our loved one. They even accommodate the strange habits (without a fur-ball of judgement), and were comfortable with our feeding schedules and patterns to make the lil kitty-baby settle in. Now, this all being said, our cat-boi was not well behaved, but they didn't balk at allowing us a 2nd chance. We trust that he will grow more comfortable over time and look forward to being able to take more trips knowing he will be safe and loved. read more

We were very nervous about leaving our kitty, Gracie, anywhere while we vacationed. We checked out Club Cat and could tell she would be very well taken care of by these kitty-loving hoomans. She had a web cam in her suite so we could watch her whenever we wanted to. The hoomans were so kind to her and we felt very happy with our decision to let her stay there. We received daily photos and postcards of how she was doing. She loved her stay at Club Cat! We will definitely let Gracie vacation at Club Cat the next time we plan our next vacation. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place and everyone who works there! Shana the owner is awesome! I had reservations about boarding my 3 & 1/2 month old kitten Zues for 6 days and the guilt about leaving him was overwhelming. However, shortly after all my concerns and guilt were erased! It's a one of a kind place and my kitty had a blast! They even sent me occasional post cards from Zeus with photos and it was such a special touch! Plus I could see him on camera at any time. If you have a kitten I highly recommend booking extra time in the salon to help them get their zoomies out and release some of that crazy energy! I will not take my kitty anywhere else!! If you need a place to board your kitty, look no further than Club Cat! My girlfriend and I went on a road trip last week and needed to find a place to put our fur princess Penelope for a few days. Normally we would have friends or neighbors come into our home to check up on her, but given the COVID pandemic, we didn't feel comfortable with people coming into our home, even if we weren't around. I came across Club Cat per the recommendation of my vet, The Cat Care Clinic in Orange (also highly recommended)! I had never boarded Penelope before and had a bit of separation anxiety, but Shana and the rest of the team at Club Cat were extremely responsive and helpful and answered all of my questions and concerns. I opted to book the luxury suite for Penelope which gives her a huge window to look out of, which she absolutely loved! There's also a 24/7 webcam that you can view on your phone to check up on your fur baby, which definitely helped to ease my anxiety while being away from her. They also have several add-on services such as nail trimming (or Paw-icures, as they call it), combing and brushing, and extra play time for your cat, among other things. I will say that although this place is far from the most economical option, it was 100% worth it given the level of attention and care that they show in their work. Plus, it's cat-only. If you're going to board your cat, cat-only is the way to go. They even gave us a little treat bag when I picked her up which came with a small toy, some catnip, and a magnet with a picture of my cat on it! I am beyond pleased with Penelope's boarding experience and will definitely be a return customer any time that I need to board her! read more
