The sports bar in the hotel where the Green Bay Packers stay and one that dubs itself a sports bar...you'd expect the game vs KC to be on, right? Had to ask to have the pregame turned on...and literally halfway through the first quarter they are still "working on" figuring out the sound. Sorry we gave this place a second chance. Watching the game in silence isn't what we expected at this Packers bar. Now the bartender is recommending patrons go elsewhere if they like the sound on. Really. Do better.

Decent Sports Bar, with better than average beer on tap choices and slightly below average food. So, why the hate for this place? I just don't get it. I have eaten here five times over the past four years. Consistently good service Good tap beer selections (not awesome, but not just PBR either) Prices are decent. Enough TV's so you can watch any sports event you want. Staff can be fun snarky. Food...well, kind of meh. Frozen burgers (might even be precooked), meh breaded fries. For all of that, still tastes ok. I almost want to go to four stars to make up for the chuckle head haters, but, it's really a 3 star kind of place. I would not make a special trip here, but if I am staying at the Radison on a cold winter night, its fine.

Bad food. Bad service. What else is there to say. They can't even get a hamburger right. Avoid this dump.

If you order a french fry you don't usually expect it to take 45 minutes to arrive.

The service was all-around incredible. The employees were warm, friendly, and professional, and they seemed to know exactly how often to check in without interrupting our meal. They spaced out our drinks, appetizers, and entrees just the right amount. Our server Andrew was particularly great. We had a soda flight of their craft sodas for a super super reasonable price, and every single soda was spectacular. We're spoiled in the craft soda department by virtue of living in Wisconsin (Sprecher, Potosi, etc), but this was definitely the best craft soda we've had. Even the wacky flavors like blue raspberry were rich and flavorful--they didn't taste overwhelmingly artificial. I cannot recommend their soda enough, although I imagine their craft beer is pretty good too! We also had a delicious mocktail, which always goes a long ways in impressing us. All of our food was reasonably priced and so, so, fresh and delicious. The Bavarian pretzel with the beer cheese was heavenly!! We loved our entrees as well. Even something simple like the fries were perfectly done--fresh, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside I don't think we could have asked for a better experience. Everything we had their was top notch, and despite the number of things we ordered, our bill was not very high at all (about $50 for a mocktail, a craft soda flight and a soda pint, an appetizer and two entrees.

Serving was very small. Chicken tasted like flour - it seemed more like frozen chicken - very dry and coating not well cooked. :( Although fries were brown they tasted ok while hot. Overall $40+ for disappointment. :( And when you only eat one meal a day it makes it especially sad. This was my one time for hunger satisfaction today and Mad Apple to satisfy.

The place is very spacious, so didn't have to worry about being too close together. We had a table for nine. Each ordered something different off the menu. I'm sorry we didn't capture any food pics...too excited to try the dishes. We'll be sure to catch some pics of the delicious menu items on our next visit! I did capture their menu when we first arrived. Menu items from the Ragin' Cajun Burger, Tenderloin Tips Salad, Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad, the Rueben Sandwich, the Maniacal Mushroom Burger, the Salmon BLT, along with Mozzarella Sticks and Chips and Salsa appetizers and their very popular side of Garlic Parmesan Chips and their Garlic Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Onion Rings and Hand Cut Fries were more than enough to leave everyone satisfied. Victor was our wait staff for this visit. He kept us hydrated and would return during the meal to see we were all well taken care of. Thank you Victor! Our first impression was a good one and one that will certainly have us return for another go at their great menu.

Ordered delivery from the Glass Nickel on 6/18/18. I ordered a fish sandwich and the "bacon blue"…read moresalad. Delivery was within the 30 minute time frame which I was quoted, and the food arrived very hot (sandwich) and cold (the salad). They definitely kept the two temperature foods separated. The Fish sandwich was excellent. Two fried fish patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, on a toasted long roll with a side of tartar. The fish was light with a crispy batter and not at all greasy. The bread was not soggy and had a bit of chew to it. The tartar sauce was nice and tangy. All told, an excellent sandwich. On to the salad. What can I say? When they say it's a "bacon and blue" salad, they mean "BACON AND BLUE". There was a good deal of fresh, tender spinach but the amount of bacon and blue cheese crumbles was amazing. The star of this salad was the the bacon and blue cheese. The spinach was there as a vehicle to help bring these two to your mouth. The salad includes walnuts, BUT they're plain. The salad would be so much better if these were candied walnuts, to bring a bit of sweetness to the salad, and if they included some cranberries or some other tart fruit, it would help cut through some of the richness/cloying of the bacon and blue cheese. These additions would have made for a bit of a more well-rounded flavor profile for the salad (hope someone from the restaurant reads this). I made the mistake of going with blue-cheese dressing with this salad. If you were to order this salad, I would say go with something like a vinaigrette, again, to help cut through some of the richness of the salad. I can't speak to the dining room, but I can say that you will not be disappointed by the food.

The roasted Brussel sprouts were covered, literally smothered in bacon bits and feta. The sprouts were fried beyond crispy. If you like your sprouts super charred and buried under bacon, this dish is for you. I, however, would have preferred my sprouts less burnt and far less toppings. The French dip was shockingly NOT a salt bomb - which was a pleasant surprise. It's the first time I've had a French dip where I actually wanted to dip it in the side of au jus to give it a flavor bump. The real gem is Tanner's amazing selection of sides to choose from - you can swap in a twice baked potato, kettle chips with French onion dip, steamed broccoli, grilled asparagus or potato salad! Any other place would up-charge but Tanner's doesn't. I chose grilled asparagus and appreciated the separate packaging so the sandwich didn't get soggy. I would come back and try other dishes as the menu is quite large.
