You can count on Cluck U for consistently good chicken wings. The ribs are not bad either but this place is all about the chicken wings. Cluck U must have a farm of hormone fed chickens because the wings are always big. They are fried and doused in buttery hot sauce or other types of sauce to your liking. I usually get 911 hot sauce and it has nice kick to it but not that bad. The wingers are not crunch and more saucy. I think Cluck U's wings are more about the size and the sauce. This place is busy and sometimes hard to call in an order. But I never had my orders wrong so thumbs up for that. This Cluck U is extremely poorly run. The employees have no idea what is going on. Management clearly does not communicate to them the new deals or promotions. Went here because of the coupons sent in the mail. Also went here because of the 25% off on Mondays... they advertised it, but said "we[they] don't do that anymore." When I arrived (minus-1 star for false advertising) Purchased: Item#1 Small- Onion Rings- 2/5- too soggy/greasy and too crunch in other spots... probably cooked in oil that was too hot and not given time to properly cook. (they are currently hiring for a new cook staff- 8/2014) (minus-1 star bad food) Item#2 10-piece boneless chicken strips... completely smothered in hickory bbq sauce... to the point of soggy breading and tough chicken pieces(minus-1 star make breaded chicken crunchy and covered in sauce, not swimming in it! ). I love bbq sauce... but it was pretty unappetizing. Item#3 honey bites... wish I had saved my money... they were tasty, but the honey spilled out of the container and onto all of my other containers and untensils... I called fo delivery on Friday night at 12:30 am. I was told my delivery would come in 35 minutes. An hour and ten minutes later, the delivery driver called to tell me my order had arrived. I fell asleep and did not get the call. I called back an hour later (when they were still open) and the driver refused to redeliver the items that I payed for. I called back again the next day and they still refused to resend my order. The male who opened the store and who was answering the phone on Saturday, October 7 was very rude and started making fun of me because I fell asleep. I was trying to speak with this person to tell my issue and they mocked me. For a $25 order, I feel that this large corporation could have met me halfway to come up with a better solution than telling me no and making fun of me. There is nothing worse than a food service who tries to be up with the times, such as offering online ordering, and completely fails at it. The system Cluck U has in place for their online order is HORRIBLE and because of the disservice it has done to me I will never be back. You shouldn't have to call the company you use to process payments to ensure I paid online and/or wait for a fax of my payment and then manually enter my credit card information - it's a backwards, insecure system and is definitely not efficient. read more

When my kids went to Mo-Beard ...it wasn't a weekend without Cluck U in the house...when they went off to Bucknell l would stop and pick up a bucket before getting on 80 West...now they have moved back to the area....and last weekend they asked me to stop on my way over...yes...they do own a car...l got a 20 piece and now I am hooked again.....there is nothing like it anywhere! My tip is if you are taking it out or having it delivered...ask for the sauce on the side...l find that it keeps the breast bites crisper. I was very disappointed in the service of these establishment. I came up to visit some friends and where I like there are no click u's so it's always a must when ever there is one around. We ordered a 3 piece boneless Caribbean jerk, 10 piece boneless garlic cheese, and spuds with bacon and a side of ranch. We also payed for 2 extra thins of blue cheese. Upon recovering our order I discovered they did not provide us with any of the sauces that we had to pay extra for. Which is fine I understand some people forget. The real kicker is when we got back home and opened our order it was completely wrong. The sauces were completely what we didn't order. The 10 piece was hot buffalo and I honestly couldn't tell you what the 3 piece was. We ended up throwing the entire order away. Very disappointed. Would not recommend. read more

This place used to be great. Great as in we would order at least 2x a month. However our last 3 times here have been a disappointment. I was pretty harsh in my last review, the owners comments made me re-evaluate my last judgment. Cluck-U has made a name for itself within the North/Central Jersey area for their wings and sandwiches. I personally don't think they are the greatest wings out there, and I think that establishments like Buffalo Wild Wings use higher quality chicken. However, Cluck-U is open until 3am on weekends, and when you've got the munchies they're the place to call. I have ordered from this establishment on multiple occasions. There usually isn't a problem. However, tonight during a food delivery when going to pick up my food I took a little longer than the driver had liked. After paying and proceeding to walk away the driver called out to me, "Nigger". When I called up to speak with the manager who said his name was Josua Andino, he told me that no further steps would be taken because the employee (who he said was Louis Contreas) had been working there for 6 years. I expressed my concerns about the delivery man's racist comments and he repeated, "I'm sorry, but he has been with us for 6 years". So, I guess 6 years is work more than a costumers comfort. OK, I'm a little biased, since I've been eating Cluck-U for over 20 years, now. The bottom line is: You come to Cluck-U for the wing sauces. Everything else they serve is average to above average, but the wing sauce and anything they put it on tastes great. The service is not nearly as good as it once was, and lines are the norm, sadly, especially at night. Like everything else, the prices have gone up, but if you pay cash on Monday nights, you can get 15% off, I believe. I'll say it again: The reason to come to Cluck-U is for the wings (boneless or not). Don't bother with anything else on the menu. It can be hit-or-miss. Also, unless you're insane, don't try the 911 wing challenge. Most people rarely get past 3 wings before losing it in the bathroom...Once that 911 sauce hits your lips, nose, eyes, or any other mucus membrane, it's over and you'll wish for a swift death. read more

My 7 and 11 year old son love Cluck U, but my last to go order was a disaster. They forgot my sodas and when I got back home my kids mini bites order was so hot that it melted the styrofoam container. Bits of styrofoam were on 5 or 6 pieces of chicken. My boys ate the rest and when I drove back across town to get the sodas I showed the person behind the counter the styrofoam container he just said "oh" and threw it out.
