I came today 08/19/2022 to purchase my lunch and to redeem my $5 off coupon that Cluckin Bun sent me for my birthday, The guy and the lady Vanessa refused to let me use my $5 off for my food because they said that the email was sent on July 31st and that I couldn't use it (even that it says to use it between 08/01/2022 till 08/31/2022). That doesn't make sense because they sent me the email on July 31st. Night for my August use. This place just lies to the customers sending coupons and then when you go, you can't redeem it. Last night we tried Cluckin Bun for the first time. Other reviews said better than Dave's and Canes so we HAD to try and it was so worth it! Erica was working and she was so amazing. Made us a truly delicious meal. We're only in town a few days but we will be back for more next visit! Highly recommend the clucker meals and the tender meal. Imma start by saying the lady at the counter (4-19 7pm) was so sweet. I really wish I got her name but she is so accommodating, funny, and friendly. She made the experience all the better. Food was absolutely delicious. I got the mother cluckin with medium spice. I honestly could have gone spicier and I'm kind of a whimpy when it comes to spice so I'll try to get the Hot next time. Soft Brioche bun with coleslaw and sweet butter pickles holding a spicy, juicy chicken tender. Every bite was so good. I'm a huge fry snob and these were perfect. Crispy crinkle cut fries with seasoning. Finished the night off with the strawberry churros. I usually don't like churros but since these were fresh and jelly-filled, I loved them. So so good! I just heard about this place today, and as a fan of the chicken sandwich (and living only about five minutes away), I decided to go here for lunch. I got a Cluckin Sandwich (with slaw and pickles) to go, and as a lover of spicy food, I went with the highest spice level, Cluckin+. About a third of the way into the sandwich, I thought to myself "this is pretty spicy." By the time I got halfway through, my tongue and lips were starting to burn. With only a couple of bites left, the heat had gotten to the intensity level that I considered not finishing the sandwich -- but I did. That was more than lunch; it was an all-consuming experience. This was one of the spiciest things I've ever eaten, and as I mentioned earlier, I love spicy food. I finished the sandwich an hour ago, and I can still feel some of the burn. The chicken is good quality, the flavors are spot on, and the brioche hot dog bun is a unique twist. With the sauce and slaw, this sandwich is going to get on your hands. The restaurant itself is bright and small, with three tables, one of which I sat at while waiting for my nuclear-spicy sandwich to be prepared. I was the only person in the restaurant while I waited, so I hope more people learn about the place. The guy who took my order and prepared the sandwich was friendly. I got the feeling that he was probably an owner of the place. This will most certainly not be my last visit to Cluckin Bun, but I suspect that next time, I'll turn the spice level down a notch to Cluckin Hot. I went here at 6:30 on a Tuesday and there were a few parties inside waiting for food and a few more more in line. There are only 3 tables, so it's supposed to be mostly a take out place. I ordered the mother cluckin combo with one cluckin hot and cluckin + sandwich and a strawberry churro. The Cluckin + is the spicier one and it packs a really good amount of heat. The chicken is pretty juicy and the seasoning gives it a nice flavor. It is a slow burn though and my mouth was pretty numb afterwards. The pickles are some of the best I've had. The Cheeto dust adds just a very small hint of flavor and it helps. Overall, it's one the better food options I've had in the desert and will come back! read more

This little restaurant serves a very good fried chicken sandwich, in fact it surpassed my expectations. I waited while my order was being made. There were 3 small tables that one could have stayed and dined in. The 2 walls had painted murals depicting chickens oozing with hot sauce. Maybe my interpretation was off, but it was definitely one of a kind art work. The taste of my sandwich was absolutely spot on. I believe their description was Nashville style, which I chose med hotness. It was the right choice for me, and I ate all of it including the fries that came with it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nothing piques my interest more than fried chicken, so of course I had to check this place out. I had been meaning for ages to come by but it's not often I come by Cat City, so I never had the chance. I was pretty happy to finally give this place a shot when I did. I suppose I could chalk it up to the face I ended up not getting exactly what I wanted. I came in intending to order wings, but they only have ranch and not blue cheese. That's a dealbreaker for me and wings, so I skipped that and went with some tenders instead. The chicken was fine, but again, there was nothing remarkable about the taste or texture of the chicken. I did like the mac & cheese though -- the hot Cheeto crumbs gave it a nice crisp texture, which really helped balance out how mild the cheese sauce itself was. They were at least relatively busy when I went so it does look like they're doing reasonably well for themselves. Just not quite what I was hoping for. Stopped by here based on the reviews. But I was disappointed. I got the mother clucker combo with mild level heat. And unfortunately the seasoning over powers the flavor of everything. The cluck sauce helped a little, and the chicken wasn't crispy, it was a bit dry and seemed like some buffalo chicken tenders you could get from Costco. The only two things that tasted good, and hence the two stars, are the Mac & Cheese and also the churros. I would say the Churros (6$) was a bit spendy for small portions, but the Bavarian cream filling was pretty good. read more
