The front of this building is Coffee and Tacos so we couldn't find Clucking Good, went around back and saw several different restaurant posters with QR codes, seen Clucking Good poster scanned it and their menu came right up decided to try this place because fellow yelper Liberty G gave them a great review and she is honest with her opinion she recommended delicious dishes !!! We ordered the crispy chicken comes with garlic rice and consomme and the hainan chicken it also came with garlic rice and consomme, the hainan chicken was delicious the rice fragrant and so tasty the crispy chicken was so crunchy but could have used a little salt but it came sweet chili sauce for dipping and was perfect together we ordered extra cucumbers worth the 2 extra dollars we were so happy with our meals. The service was fast the prices were reasonable unfortunately there is no where to sit because it is in a ghost kitchen. We ended up sitting on some benches on the side of coffee and tacos it was nice and shady. The food was so delicious i am so thankful for honesty in yelp reviews come give this place a shot your taste buds will love it.

Cluckin Good is in the Sactown Eats space and is available for pickup or on Door Dash/Uber Eats. If you're picking up, I'd recommend coming during the day time because turning into the area can be scary at night! We tried: - Samplers Plate/Half & Half ($16) - Crying Tiger ($22) - Thai Tea ($4) Their consommé might be my favorite Hainan chicken side soup ever!! It was sooo deeply flavored and felt like such a warm hug. The chicken for the poached Hainan chicken was a bit drier than expected, but I dunked each piece in the consommé before eating and that made it better! I know that Hainan chicken/khao mun gai should be super soft and juicy, so I'm just chalking it up to having an off serving. The fried chicken of the sampler was great and went perfectly with the sweet chili sauce. Their Crying Tiger is to die for!! The fat on the steak is perfectly rendered so each bite is wonderfully rich. The sauce that goes with it is tart so it completely balances the meal. However, the Crying Tiger does NOT come with rice, so make sure you order some on the side!

    Consommé was so intensely flavored

Tried their orange chicken and it's delicious. Super crispy breading on tender meat. Eat it right away so it doesn't get soggy. But if you have leftovers, I popped mine in the air fryer. Comes with plain white rice. Also now that they're in their new ghost kitchen, you get to meet the nice owner of the Cluckin Good!

Amazing amazing Hainanese chicken!! Got this for $16 bucks and was worth every dollar. Quality is amazing and great quantity would order again. Definitely recommend and one of the best food I had in sac

This is one of my new favorite place to get poached chicken which is so tender and juicy. I love the ginger sauce that comes with it and you can drench that over the chicken or the rice. They also have some flavor rice that cooks with ginger and garlic and the poached chicken juice and it is so flavorful and savory. I also tried their crying tiger which is their Grill stick and it comes with some Spicy Thai lime juice which is so addicting after you dip it once. The steak has perfect Grill marks but the steak was a little bit overcooked so next time I order it I will request medium rare to have a little bit of pink. I love how the crying tiger comes with some fresh cucumber so when it gets a little spicy it cools down the taste bud. I also try to grill pork which was grilled to perfection but it was a little bit on the dry side as well a little bit too overcooked. I also love how I got the crispy fried chicken which was perfect and tender and it comes with some Thai chili sauce which you can dip it in and it is very sweet and savory and crunchy all in one bite. Also don't forget to try there Thai tea which is really refreshing and milky. The setup of a ghost kitchen is you order online and you go there and pick up your order after you ring the doorbell and the sweet Mama comes and bring out your food to you and then you go on your way. This is located in Midtown Sacramento on 22nd Street near Zoe tacos. Have you been and would you check it out? Thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day.

We ordered this via DoorDash. I got the hainan chicken. It came with rice, soup, and some kind of sweet sauce. The chicken was tender. The sauce was too sweet for my liking. The soup was kind of sweet; i was expecting a more bland and very chicken-brothy broth if that makes sense lol! Overall it looked unappealing, and tasted very bland to me. It tasted like something I can easily and quickly make at home. I don't think i would get it again.

I absolutely love Cluckin Good. Perfect 10/10 experience for my take out order. The Hainan chicken and crying tiger are my must order menu items. The meat was tender. The NY was cooked to my prefer temperature of medium rare. I love the Thai spicy BBQ sauce as it compliments the NY. The garlic rice was so fragrant and delicious. The Thai iced tea was perfect. It was not water downed. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

They had a plaque about the green book and the history of the time period and what it was. My history loving family found that super cool. The atmosphere inside was great. The artwork was beautifu. Also he service was impeccabl. Our server, isis, was incredibly kind and helpfu. The service was speedy which is great bc my grandma was tired and usually had dinner at four (it was 7). However we still had enough time between appetizers, the meal, and dessert. Overall my family and I will be going back and I think we found our new favorite restauran. I can't wait to tell and bring everyone I know here! thank you to all the staff for a wonderful night.

I'm beginning to notice a pattern: these aren't cookie-cutter restaurants. They have personality, a playful spirit, and the feeling that some people actually enjoy creating places where people want to gather and belong. The staff are genuinely welcoming, the portions are generous, the comfort food gives solace, and breakfast lovers can rejoice because it's served all day. Whether you're there for a hearty meal or simply soaking up the atmosphere, Roc & Sol has earned its loyal following for good reason. A special note on Janah and Alicia (pictured), who made our family breakfast feel like more than just a meal. With effortless expertise, warm conversation, and infectious energy, these adrenaline junkies created the kind of experience that keeps people wanting more. They seemed to feed off the positive energy they shared with their guests--and gave even more in return. I hadn't been since last summer and was happy to return. Parking can be a bit hectic, but once you're inside, the atmosphere makes up for it. It's a family-owned spot, and you can feel it right away -- everyone is kind, welcoming, and takes the time to check in on you. We came for breakfast, but they also offer lunch and barbecue options, so there's plenty to choose from depending on when you go. They've also expanded and now have a location in Elk Grove. I ordered the French toast plate, which came with thick-cut slices of bread, eggs, and bacon. The French toast was soft on the inside with a nice golden finish, full of flavor without being overly sweet. The eggs were well seasoned, and the bacon was cooked just right. BB ordered the cheeseburger with fries and a side of grits. The burger was juicy with grilled onions and melted cheese, and the fries had that crispy, beer-battered texture. Everything came out hot and satisfying. Overall, a great spot for comfort food with genuinely friendly service. Definitely planning to come back -- especially for the biscuits and gravy next time.

The Standouts: * Oh my goodness get that octopus dish back in my mouth. Wow, I can't describe adequately the unique texture they were able to get on it, with a crispy exterior and tender interior. There was a generous helping of garlic sauce which came with it and the potatoes that were on the side were also fantastic. Easily the best dish of the night. * The Ravioli was also delicious. It comes with a herby, earthy pesto on top and a delightful balance of cheese filling. * Lovely selection of Italian drinks including alcoholic and NA options * Interesting bruschetta flight - 4 pieces of toast each with a different type of topping. The onion Jam and pesto ones stood out to me. The Improvement Points: * The AC was not working very well when we were there. I felt I had to really chew to get it down, and I just wanted a nice snappy skin for some textural juxtaposition. For my entree, I got the Bolognese which was definitely full of salt. The pasta was wonderfully thin and bouncy, but I feel the chef may have had an off-day. My friend and I had to down like multiple cups of water with our meal which made it hard to enjoy. Plus, the garlic bread felt like biting into a brick. The inside was quite fluffy and soft, but the crust was simply too crispy. I almost felt like my teeth were going to give way. Honestly, I can't in good faith recommend this place to my friends, so neither would I recommend it to you. (aside from the pasta classes)
