They appreciated I was an experienced rider, knew what I wanted and didn't try to oversell me on something I didn't want and gave me a fair price for my trade in. My previous scooter dealers/mechanics have given me a wide range of mileage for routine maintenance. Mike and Ben gave me an easy, clear number to remember so I bring my scooter in for routine maintenance based on the specific scooter I bought. Every time I call for an appointment Moto Java gets me in fast and finishes earlier than estimated. They also give me an itemized receipt of what was done and a heads up to what the next maintenance bill will cost so I'm not caught off guard. My review is based on my scooter that I bought from Moto Java. He wrote me up…read morea contract for a good slightly used engine, but what he neglected to tell me was it comes with poor compression, an intake valve leak from front cylinder, completely seized beyond repair oil pressure release valve so pressure was through the roof, and oh I can't forget about the terrible crank shaft end play issue! End play was so bad that the compensating sprocket was kissing the inside of the outer primary and grinding away the outer primary from the inside out. Also it is forcing me to remove the engine myself (which I've never done) and split the crankcase (also never done) in order to figure out what exactly he did wrong, if it's fixable how much it'll cost but if not how much it's gonna cost to replace what needs replacing! Oh and due to the end play problems the clutch basket and hub are now being worn down by the primary chain bc they are no longer in alignment with the compensating sprocket! I will never trust him with anything mechanical as long as he lives!! I strongly suggest you stay clear of his place of shady business dealings! If you're unlucky enough to have your bike there now, I'd rush and get it moved somewhere else!

The entire time he had it, he would give me updates.As it turns out, it was just me being a noob and not using the fuel reserve correctly. Shawn was very helpful and professional throughout the whole interaction; I was only charged for the cost of fuel. Shawn and the team did a thorough front-end inspection, including test riding the bike, checking alignment, and identifying that the steering head bearings needed to be replaced. On top of that, they had no issue honoring my request to double-check the wheel bearings, front suspension, and rear wheel alignment. It's now been 1,500 miles and a full track day since the service, and I'm still extremely satisfied with the results. The bike feels planted, smooth, and confidence-inspiring. Took the Valve Adjustment Workshop last month with Lawrence and recently had a 1-on-1 set up with…read morehim as well for my suspension setup and fork seals/oil change. This shop has all the tools you need to wrench on your motorcycle and is located in a quiet corner of Treasure Island. It's a major plus for riders living on the west side of the bay as we do not need to pay toll to get to the area. Plenty of parking out front! Since the Valve Adjustment workshop is an advanced workshop, I highly recommend, especially for sportbike owners, to know how to dismantle your fairings alone. The instructor will not hold your hand during that process. Perhaps due to being a small class, me and another rider only, the instructor helped me remove the gas tank (I've never done it before surprisingly). Otherwise, they do mean it when you need to get to your valve cover alone or at least know what it is and what to remove to get to it. Therefore, I'd recommend at least knowing basic maintenance or have done it before on your bike before taking the advanced workshop. I cannot speak to the beginner workshops as I have never done them before but from this workshop, I gained plentiful knowledge, there was ample time for questions, and feel more confident getting to the valves by myself now. Lawrence was patient and explained everything clearly. I'll probably be coming here for future maintenance needs when I don't have the tools at my own place to do the job. It's well equipped and the lift makes a HUGE difference on my lower back. Consider taking additional courses here if you have never done any maintenance on your motorcycle!

Nini at the front desk was absolutely perfect for the job imo: compassionate, reassuring, and exactly what a first-timer needs before throwing a leg over a bike for the first time for real. Freddie and Henry were great too, really easy dudes to talk to and very helpful with sharing tips and other pointers for me. I'll be honest, I dropped the bike an equal number of times on both sides over the weekend, all at zero mph (embarassing af). Symmetrically bruised ego, perfectly balanced. Returning it felt intimidating, but the whole team handled it with zero judgment and genuine professionalism. I didn't try to hide anything and they made the whole process painless, albeit with some monetary penalties caused by my inexperience (I own up to this though). I'm leaving with my wallet lighter but with my heart genuinely fuller for the experience. The environment this shop creates for nervous beginners like me is genuinely rare, and it made me feel supported and motivated to come back and do better next time. Will absolutely be back for my next rental and keep getting ride time in, because real experience gained like I did is priceless. Brought my Ducati in for a safety inspection and servicing. Unfortunately, one of the parts I needed to replace took a long time to arrive from Ducati, and it took over 2 weeks to get my bike back.
