The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I paid them a considerable amount of money to pickup and store my furniture and other goods. I also paid an additional fee to have my items insured. As I paid monthly on my credit card I had to phone in occasionally to change my card. When I eventually got all of my statements together I found that they had charged me across numerous cards. When I phoned their SO CALLED customer service manager they refused to refund the overcharges and spoke to me as if I was a criminal. They owed me over $2500! DON'T use them. I hate writing reviews but I feel like it's a disservice not to alert anyone who thinks that using Clutter for their move would be a good idea. It was the worst moving experience and return experience of my life and I have move across continents back and forth and around the country many times. My neighbor actually recommended them to me and then when I called her to tell her what an awful experience I had she said she had the same terrible experience. I have no idea why she referred them. First of all I was moving out of our large family home for a 6-8 month home renovation. The clutter truck arrived with 3 young men who absolutely had no idea what they were doing, nor did they arrive with the correct packing supplies or knowledge of how to complete a move. My contractor arrived after 4 hours of basically packing up one bedroom ( mind you this was just large items ( beds etc) and sent them away. He ended up bringing in his crew putting all of our furniture in the center of the living room and taping it all up. I also got another storage unit nearby and ran loads of stuff to it. I waited to complain to clutter because they had some very expensive pieces and I didn't want something to happen to them because of writing negative reviews. When it was time to request the return of my stuff I selected everything from the online menu. Again two very young guys returned our stuff- completely terrifying as they were definitely not moving men. Also they damage one of our new stone stairs because they weren't strong enough to carry a table and tried to use a dolly. I thought I was done with clutter but notice another charge on my credit card and saw that one box had not been returned to me and they were still charging me for an enormous storage unit and I had no recourse other tha. To request another delivery ( which was an additional cost!) this place is a terrible scam! I am going to report them to the Better business Bureau. Do not use them! I would give them and negative star review! read more

I'm updating my review a year later after I received my items back from clutter. To begin, they lost my box spring and it's no where to be found. Second I have a dining table that I paid almost 2K for and it's completely destroyed. When I requested my items back I specifically wrote a note stating that this marble table is extremely heavy and needs at least 3 people to carry it. When the movers arrived there was 2 and one of them weighed maybe 125lbs so it wasn't looking promising. When I looked into the truck everything looked smooshed into the truck and I could see the table was leaning and the blanket covering it looked ripped. The movers told me the table was broken. The table was missing a leg and the ripped blanket off as from the table being chipped and cracked. They removed the blanket to see where else there was damage and they attempted to carry the table without a blanket and because it was so heavy they struggled the entire time. The screws to the legs are stripped the table was ruined even more by them dragging it on the concrete and I'm afraid this 400 lb table will fall on me at some point. I filed a claim and they responded with an email offering me about $350, I've been trying to reach someone and they've been pretty unresponsive and I was told that there was a glitch in their system and they hadn't received the email. This company is a joke. The mover guys are very nice and considerate but the way the business is being run is a joke with no one wanting to take responsibility. The missing box spring is still missing and they haven't offered the money back to me that I paid for it. Find another storage company because clutter is a hot mess when it comes to returning your valuable belongings. Again it's not the movers (they're great) it's the warehouse and dispatch that have been awful. read more

Clutter is really simple. They store stuff for you and have an easy interface. You can just log on and make edits to your appointment and change to different plans. A few things I wish were better that is very minor would be to have a grace period on the reservations if they get cancelled. I was 10 minutes off of putting my CC on file, but since I did not place it on time, my appointment was cancelled and my time slot was not reserved. I'm not sure if it is a delay in the system but when I went to rebook, the full day was already booked, and I had to switch the day.
