Attention all military...this place does not honor your service! This was a place we enjoyed and went several times a week and they always gave a military discount. After returning from a 2023 deployment members of the rescue squadron went, and they were told they could only have a military discount if they were in uniform. Anyone can get a uniform from goodwill, but only an ID proves you are really military. Also, who wears their uniform on their day off? This is a slap in the face to the men and women who risk their lives for this country. This is a loop hole so the owner can say they offer military a discount and get the public affirmation, but in reality they know that many military do not wear traditional uniforms during the day (like the rescue squadrons). It is a shame our hero's cannot pick and choose who they want to protect when they are fighting for this country. Show this business they cannot brag to the public they support military, then lie! Our military are expected to protect us 24/7...not just when they have their uniforms on! read more

Just disappointment after disappointment. We waited 30+ minutes just to get our orders taken. 30 more minutes for hummus. I asked if it would be possible to get something without cilantro, they said it would be no problem without mentioning that half of the dish would be taken out of it haha. After waiting another 45 minutes for the food, I ended up needing to order a new thing that took an extra 15 minutes and the turkey Ruben had a bad ratio of sourkrout cuz all we tasted was just that. We were expecting more of a sports bar with darts and some games but it was basically a restaurant with tvs. My biggest disappointment was the service. Our wait staff name was Reagan. She was pleasant enough but never really tried to make us feel welcomed. My wife and I felt we had to work hard to make ourselves feel welcomed. I've been coming here since I moved to the Space Coast in 2014. There are several things to comment on. 1. Their staff is great, most of the servers and bartenders have been there for years. Many longer than I've been coming. That says a lot about the environment and the owners. 2. The sheer quality of their food. Not the creativity, which is also exceptional, but they clearly go out of their way to get the best ingredients they can find. 3. Their ever changing menus and weekly specials, including "exotic burger". (My only negative is that sometimes they have items on their special menu that I love and they disappear) 4. Their burgers. You simply won't find a better burger. I've brought several out of town friends and too a man no one will say they don't have the best burger they have ever eaten. They always have an "Exotic" option: bison, wild boar, ostrich, kangaroo, lamb and many more, these can be hit or miss. But still fun. 5. Their beer menu. I'm not really a beer man these days. So, I've been to Coasters a couple times now. Nice abidance. They have a cool outdoor patio in the back, and some interesting local brews on their beeer list. The wait staff is friendly and inviting. Seems like a cool place to watch a game or just relax with friends or co-workers. My first visit (seated on the patio), I had a catfish sandwich with a side of cheese grits, and others at the table had an assortment of wings. My meal definitely put a smile on my face, and I'm assuming the wings and beer contributed to the smilies on the other faces at my table. All around 5 stars for that experience. During my second visit, the wait staff and ambiance were just as pleasant. I ordered the shrimp and grits this time. I wanted to like it, but the tomatos overpowered the other flavors and the sauce turned out more like a stew than the roux I was expecting. Sadly, only 3 stars for that visit. Averaging out the two visits, I will give it 4 stars, but I'm open to giving it 5 stars next time I go. read more

My wife, 2 year old, and I came here for dinner one Friday, and overall were impressed. We started off with the deviled eggs and hummus, then enjoyed their southwest salad and Manhattan clam chouder for our meals. The deviled eggs and hummus were both very tasty starters. The southwest salad had a ton of flavor with a spicy dressing, jalapenos, corn, and black beans, but could have used less of the lettuce stems. My wife also seemed to enjoy the Manhattan clam chouder very much. On to drinks, and the best part of this place. They had an excellent selection of craft beers on tap both local and from across the country. I was surprised to see selections from our favorites across the country including Green Flash and Dogfish Head. An added bonus is that they fill growlers! Overall we really enjoyed this place, and would recommend to others who love beer. The service could be improved though (slow / server could have been more attententive), some fine tuning with the food, and perhaps some sort of happy hour specials. Since we just moved to town, we'll enjoy trying this place again soon. read more

I loved Coasters so much. The food is amazing considering it's pub food, but it is definitely not your typical pub food. Everything was delicious and fresh. I went here for dinner on my birthday with my boyfriend and both of us started with some beer. I got a hot cider drink with rum (this was in November), and he got a cold light ale. The hot drink was especially tasty. The spiced rum really added a nice warm flavor. For dinner we got a burger and fish and chips to split. This place has the best burgers in the area, hands down. Big, juicy, delicious, and flavorful. They have very unique burgers here and it was cooked perfectly. The fish and chips were also nice. Light and flaky, not too heavy on the batter. Service was great too. Our server let us try out several different beers before making a decision and she was cracking jokes all night. Very attentive and friendly. The outdoor seating is also a must. They have the cutest little backyard area with string lights and picnic tables. Adorable! We will definitely be back :) read more

Bartender Cathy could not have been nicer, knowledgeable on the many draft beers, attentive and professional. Our second visit she had our beers poured as we sat down! Menu is extensive and well balanced (vegetarian in our group) and absolutely delicious. The hamburger I ordered is in my top five of all time from around the world. I absolutely love Coasters! First tried this place years ago based off of a Google review in searching for "good wings in Brevard county", and can consider myself a regular when in Melbourne/Space Coast area. Coasters is hidden away in a Winn-Dixie/Wal-Mart shopping plaza, so it's not easily visible from Eau Galle or A1A. Tucked away in the back corner though, you'll find a great little pub with excellent food and one of the most expansive beer lists and tap offerings on the Space Coast! Inside is standard sports pub with tv's playing sports (obviously), sports memorabilia on the walls, and TONS of beer stuff! I love it, especially being a beer snob! The place is split in two, on one side is the bar and high top tables, and on a raised section is the casual dining, but both really share the same space. So suffice to say, if there's a hotly contested game on, you'll be a part of the enthusiasm. If you don't like a pub atmosphere, they're recently created a Biergarten outside that is actually really nicely done. It's quiet, and when the weather is nice, a great place to enjoy your meal and drinks. I'd suggest going straight outside if you're looking for a quieter sit-down experience and plan on conversation, however inside is not unbearable as it may sound, especially when visiting during non-rush hour times. The food is fantastic all-around, with the wings and burgers being the standouts from my experiences. Some of the best I've ever had actually. Definitely add cheese to the order of crispy fries, as it's the appropriate mystery gas station "nacho" cheese that is simply the only cheese suitable to top crispy fries next to your burger. The only meal I didn't enjoy here was the buffalo chicken wrap - as it had limp lettuce, which instantly ruins anything it's on - but everything else I've had has been fantastic! They also serve up a "exotic burger" that is made from a rotating choice of exotic meat (think bison, ostrich, etc...), and along with their current beer theme (ie: Oktoberfest), they'll have a few traditional specials to go along with their beer focus (like Sauerbraten with Oktoberfest beer). There's more thought into their menu than the typical pub, that's for sure! If the food doesn't impress you, then the beer will! The only thing this place is lacking is an actual brewery, but it makes up for it in terms of how many beers they have on tap at one time and the HUGE list of bottles. This is not such a big deal anymore as tons of places are touting huge beer lists, but Coasters does it better. They'll change the taps regularly, and have special events with a focused type of beer, like "Oktoberfest" during the month of October which focuses on German beer, or "Belgian Beer Fest" which highlights Belgian beer naturally. They know what glasses to serve the beer in, what temp, and can expand on just "here ya go!". This makes all the difference in the world to a beer connoisseur or as I call myself "snob". Coasters is a very solid bet if you want great pub food and great beer choices, and don't bank too much on subpar reviews, as this place would be annoying to someone who's not looking for the aforementioned and will skew their experience. Great burgers and beer. So many beers and at reasonable prices. Burgers are actually seasoned and aren't cooked until they're bone dry. You can actually order Well Done or Medium-Well and get a delicious burger without worrying about getting charcoal or a raw slab of meat. They've got a selection of always-available beers and several changing beers. Makes it worth coming back over and over... also great for bringing out-of-town visitors and having a good time. This is by far the best pub on the beach. With a wide selection of beers, great menu and friendly staff, you can't go wrong at Coasters. They have the best wings on the beach and I've never had a bad thing on the menu. Again, the amount of beer they have to choose from is impressive. I recommend the Green Flash IPA or Cigar City IPA. I most enjoy sitting at the bar with my wife and watching all the baseball games. read more

This spot is definitely a hidden gem. Especially if you wanna bring fido along When you first walk in it looks like any other bar, although it's above par for a strip mall bar next to a Winn Dixie. It's dark with a good bar-food menu and an excellent draught and bottle selection. But nothing really sets it apart from any other 3 star bar in the area. Until....You walk out back to the Biergarten. It's a small area but a really well manicured outdoor space with several large picnic tables, AND...as the proud owner of a new puppy, it was amazing to find a great place like this that is dog-friendly. They even have dock cleats on the table to keep your dog tethered with the leash and doggy water bowls at the tables. Local ordinance only allows them in through a separate entrance because they can't enter into the actual bar/restaurant area, so if you are bringing your dog along drive around behind Winn-Dixie and enter through the rear into the biergarten. The food was good but not outstanding, I had the Fish and Chips. I don't live in the area but if I were to go back I would try the big roasted pork hoc or whatever it was...looked amazing. The prices are decent especially for what you get. The service was great all around, but be warned...The grass is not for potty time so come prepared or they will quickly let you know. read more
