The menu price is not what they charge. Ever since the original.owner retired, this continues to slide. First it was portions and increased prices. Now I guess they just charge what they want.

This spot is a local favorite of my boyfriend's family. The one thing they get every time are the nachos! As a nacho enjoyer, I had to try it and I have not been disappointed. The nachos are loaded!! We often pick up after ordering online - everything is made quickly! On occasion I do feel like the chip ratio is uneven but one thing to note is that it will never be the toppings that are lacking. With this many toppings the chips get soggy easily but that's an average experience for most loaded nachos. The pickled veggies are flavorful and spicy. The meat is always soft and tender. For one person these nachos take at least 2 sittings to complete. There's just something unique about Mexxi's nachos. It's certainly good in its own way and definitely worth trying for the amount that you get, but the price (about $18) can feel high.

Mexxi's Restaurant has been here for decades. The separated blackboards are confusing, doesn't accurately portray what is offered. Just ordered my usual standby: tacos. Decor just a few mural pics on side walls. Offerings: appetizers, burritos, ala carte entrees, soft tacos, platters, quesabirrias, street tacos. Aqua fresca not seen/listed. Chips not gratis. Not a fan, no issues. Bites: fish tacos (5.67) -2 medium pieces of "cod" fish crispy, moist. Fish Meat not tastable. Soft taco a plus. Sour cream, salsa, quac faintly tasted. Lettuce, tomato, lime provided the flavas. Crispy taco (4.07) -fried taco shell with a few beef pieces not tasted covered with lettuce, salsa. Juicy crunchiness it was. Chicken al pastor (4.63) -slightly charred, moist chicken pieces with tastable sour cream, black beans, & tomato bits. Salsa faint. *all served on individual plates with forks, **tacos not the usual suspects. Miss the option of choosing salsa variants. 3.5 stars-service not an issue. Cooked to order tacos arrived in about 10 minutes. Prices charged slightly hogher than posted prices. Credit card surcharge?

Awesome beef tacos and excellent spicy sauces. There were plenty of tables and service was exceptional. Will come back for sure next time I'm in town.

DO NOT order the quesabirria for delivery. I received super soggy tacos. Like as if they dumped the consome all over it. Only the meat was salvageable. What the heck guys? Not cool

"Good food, Service So-so" This is a small restaurant located in the shopping center near walmart. Parking is really easy. The interior is a bit dated now, but still comfortable. Some of the furniture is covered with plastic wrap. I'm not sure what that's all about My wife and me each got one taco and one enchilada. Just as tasty as I remembered. The salsa is especially good. The menu says they charge $4 for chips and salsa. They also have bottles of beer, but nothing on draft. For some reason, the service has declined. I do not understand why the owner seems gruff. They have an odd policy where they charge 3% extra for credit cards. I don't see that very often, and this seems cheap to me. I think there are better choices nearby. For example Los Pericos on Village Parkway.

This was a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant that was unexpectedly around the corner. There was a pretty good variety on the menu. There's a pretty good selection of beer and drinks as well. The gentleman that took our order was very lively and friendly. We were able to occupy the colorful booth outside on a nice summer day. We ordered the nachos grande that was loaded with cheesy goodness, pickled carrots and jalapeños, shredded chicken, and guacamole. The tacos were the highlight of the meal as they were authentic with the lime, cilantro, and onions. It was paired with delicious al pastor and pieces of pineapple that were crispy. The burrito was pretty good with carne asada!

Menu and owners! Great family owned small business.

Fortunately, a brisk 10 minute drive over to los pericos is definitely where it is at. It's conveniently located in a plaza that doesn't get much traffic so it's pretty easy to find parking. The only busy spot in the whole plaza is los pericos. Upon entering, we were 5th in line to order and with bout 2-3 spots left to dine in. We ordered the super burrito and wet burrito both with al pastor. The prices are more than fair for what you pay for and it comes with bottomless chips and salsa (15-16 usd per burrito). Overall, los pericos is one of the best places to get Mexican food in Dublin. Definitely worth the visit if you're hungry for Mexican food!
