Better than every single Boba place in SOHO Makes a lot of Boba stores just vanish like a DODO More popular in NYC than f**king POKEMON GO Come and get a milk tea of perfection from COCO This is a cute little Coco, although the milk tea was a little bit on the watered-down side. Tapioca was chewy as usual but definitely a cute employee here, who was super friendly and I appreciated that. When they're good, Coco makes the best milk teas in town, but this was just okay.

Stopped by Coco to try some bubble tea without the boba. Ended up ordering their featured Pomegranate Cloud Black Tea (50% Sugar) 4 STARS. The cloud at the top is supposed to be pomegranate flavored on top of black tea. Didn't taste much like pomegranate to me although it did have a very light hint of fruitiness to it. Still pretty good nonetheless especially after mixing all of the cloud into the black tea. This location is decent but not the best out there that I've seen. Looks a little unfinished. Also, the language barrier can be an issue when communicating with the employees.

I used to go to Coco a lot since it was right across from my school and I thoroughly enjoyed their drinks. However, I started going less just to cut down on my boba intake. I came back today to try it out again. I got a large passion fruit green tea with bubbles. The cashier said that the bubbles are still being made and it would take another 5 minutes, which is fine to me. I thought that since it is being made fresh, the bubbles should be fresh and flavorful right? I was so wrong. Once I got my drink, I tried a sip of it and was immediately disappointed. The tea was fine. Although I asked for 50% sugar, it was still sweet, but it still tasted good. However, the bubbles were bland and disgusting. I don't know if it was just today or if it's like this every day, but good bubbles does not taste like that.

Came here on a Sunday early evening and got ourselves a large bubble milk tea. There was no line so we were served right away. The place is small and clean. The person who served us was kind enough to split the large bubble tea into two different cups for sharing. The place offers a wide range of bubble tea flavors and also toppings but we stuck to our usual. Both sugar and ice levels can be adjusted, just be sure to ask upfront.

Absolutely my favorite bubble tea in NYC. Was on a business trip and decided to try various bubble tea places and this place is a home run. Not overly sweet and over powered by milk. Very consistent as well, visited multiple times.

This cocos location is dear to me as this was the go to spot back in my college days! I remembered all the days I used to come here for my regular jasmine milk tea with bubbles to help me get through class haha. Anyway, I was in the area today and it is also Chinese New Year. Initially I wanted to get Starbucks but saw they had a little promo from 11-8pm where they were giving the first five customers in the beginning of each hour a red envelope! How cute is that- was sold to getting something from here instead and so I did! Ordered my jasmine milk tea with bubbles- large because I had to hit a minimum in order to use my card! What I did realize was the large cup was just taller that the medium however it is slimmer. I get it. Paying a little more for literally just a little more drink or perhaps the same amount that you would get from a medium. Not sure but not the first time I've seen this happen in bubble tea spots. I was there at 1pm and suspect I was the first of the hour. I ordered my drink and was waiting to see if they were going to do as they advertised! When I got my receipt and card back the cashier handed me a red envelope and said happy new year! Ah I was happy and didn't care so much of what was in the envelope but the fact that I got one! A big sucker for things like this! Anyway, my drink came fast, tasted great. If I was still a student I'd come more often but when I'm in the area I will be back!

This is the worst experience ever! This Sunday,December 1st, I went to COCO and wanted to order a drink as usual. However, the girl's attitude 'amazed' me , she stops me from coming back to coco. First of all, I was the only costumer in the store so I thought it was okay to stand in front of the menu and take my time to order. But the girl gave me a bad attitude as I had done something wrong, more than that when I place my order she was so annoyed. I guess this is because I stopped her from playing her phone and iPad. Sorry about it ! Last but not least, she was not even saying thank you when she took my money. Excuse me, Is this the attitude I deserve??? If this is it, I would rather go to ViVi next door. I was trying to figure out her name , but she didn't put up a name tag and uniform so I guess she is the store manager, that's why she don't give shit to me. Good luck to your business :)

Happy there's a bubble tea spot in this neighborhood. Good location on the corner. I was searching for bubble tea and did not want to trek across to the west side for Vivi in the rain. Ordered a passion fruit green tea. Love that they asked me if I wanted to customize my sugar level. Tasted perfect with 50 percent sugar. It did taste slightly watered down but not too bad. Total was $4.95. They accept credit card. Great afternoon pick me up when you need it. Bummed they didn't have the lychee jelly when we went. Hopefully they aren't always running out of ingredients. Fingers crossed. Prices are on par with Chinatown bubble tea spots.

I've never been to a yogurt store that makes you pay a set price first before selecting toppings, which also means toppings are limited based on the yogurt size (something I only realized later after looking at a picture I took in the store). The employee who was supposed to help me immediately gave me attitude, as if I was supposed to already know all the "rules" of the store. I said nothing that would have warranted that reaction -- I simply went over to the display. At the register, I scanned my rewards app then couldn't find the card reader to pay. After about 20 seconds, I realized it was sitting on top of a case of water bottles (pictured). The topping limit signage was also placed off to the side of the register where customers wouldn't naturally see it -- it wasn't even on my side and was partially blocked. I only found this out when I went up to the counter after I got my yogurt. While choosing toppings, I asked how many I was allowed, and she responded, "How many toppings do you think you're supposed to choose?" with a noticeably rude tone. When I chose cookie dough as my fourth topping, she only gave me a few pieces, dropped another on the counter (pictured), and ignored it. The cookie dough topping was stale too. I also noticed she did not seem to treat other customers the same way. I eventually went back to the register - I asked her if the yogurt was actually strawberry matcha because it tasted like vanilla. I also asked about her rudeness because I genuinely didn't understand why I was being treated that way for asking simple questions. She said the information was "on the wall," even though it was difficult to see. I actually ended up apologizing earlier because she made me feel like I was burdening her. The only personable thing she said the entire interaction was that I didn't need to apologize, but the tone still felt unfriendly. Two customers sitting nearby ended up leaving without ordering. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday and she appeared to be working alone, which may have contributed to stress. Still, I left feeling extremely shaken and even spilled yogurt on my jacket afterward. I would not return to this location. I used to come to this location sometimes, but after this experience -- and a previous visit where I ordered a tea and received very little -- I would not return.

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit at Port Authority 42nd Street's A, C, E trains and buses near the peripheral of Times Square.
