Amazing boba!!! I was so excited to try this place after hearing rave reviews. I had the pearl milk tea with brown sugar boba and my friend had the mango popping boba with a mango slush. It was all so so good and the brown sugar boba was perfect. The milky tea was not too sweet. HIGHLY recommend!!

We came by Gong Cha on Saturday August 31st while waiting to eat Dim Sum in Chinatown. This is a little spot where you basically get Togo boba and keep it moving. My caramel mill tea with boba was excellent. They've got a lot of options for drinks, both milk teas & smoothies, and plenty of toppings too. I would grab a boba from here again if back in Chinatown.

Again, Gong Cha never disappoints! I can definitely taste the quality of their tea leaves when I sip their teas. This time I got their large iced Earl Grey Tea with bubbles without ice and 0% sugar. Their tapioca bubbles are very fresh and warm. This is a mini Gong Cha place that was not here long ago because their old location was around the corner on Bayard so now this new one is at Mott Street. There is a mini long high table without chairs to relax and drink or sip your teas! Slow asian ballad music playing in the background leaves a cool and relaxing feeling for customers as they're waiting for their drinks to be made. There's also an external bench outside of the tea parlor for anyone who wants to be outside sitting drinking their teas. Mostly tourists gather that bench. Now they have one kiosk where you can do self checkout if you don't want to do in person order or save time from long lines.

Very small space, but they had a lot of options on the menu--something to suit every taste! The staff was a little standoffish and tried to hurry us along, which made decision making a little stressful. I can't remember exactly what I got, but I do remember really enjoying the strawberry jellies I added in! This would make a nice quick stop to try some bubble tea in Chinatown.

Small location but drinks are always on point. The staff is always very friendly as well. I tried the milk tea with strawberry jelly. It was very sweet but in a good way. Definitely would come back and try the many selections!

I got the creme brûlée brown sugar milk tea with boba. I customized it to 50% sugar (you can't do lower sugar level than that) and less ice. The drink wasn't too sweet and just the right amount of creaminess. The pearls are a bit small but still the right texture - soft and chewy. The drink came out to be $9.25, which is a bit expensive in my opinion for GongCha. Service was very fast - the drinks came quickly.

This is my go-to Gong Cha spot, the employees are always so efficient. I usually order the Passionfruit Green Tea with Lychee Jelly however, I switched it up this time for the classic Bubble Tea and egg pudding. It was super good, and their new location looks extremely nice. Sometimes they give less ice then preferred which is why it's important to select your ice and sugar level!

First time trying this location. We got a basic bubble tea. Order served was as ordered. Good tea flavor. Bubbles are smaller size than the one I am used to. Less chewy than what I like. Service was fair. Nothing much to mention. Cashier was doing her job.

    I ordered light ice.

Not worth the money. Only a few white pearls. I asked for light ice. The service was fast

INCREDIBLE PLACE!!!!! Definitely worth to try it! The boba tastes so fresh, and chewy! Crème brûlée is my best recommendation!! They burn the sugar on top, smell soooo good and sweet. You can even change the tea base if you want! I like the oolong tea and green tea! They taste the strongest The customer service is good, every employee has good attitude and great patience!

Every time I order my milk tea here it is perfection. Spent 3 years of my life in Taiwan, and Gongcha in NY vs there is literally a perfect match. My pearls are always the perfect texture, and not hard like most US tea shops, and the milk tea is the perfect brewed tea with added milk, and not your white milk base like a lot of tea shops trend towards. If they had a supersize I would get it, because my husband usually drinks most of mine before I've realized it!

went to get tea at 11:05 and they were closed. the hours of operation on the door lie and are not true. the woman inside waved me away as saying "your annoying and should go away we no want money".

Do not get it! Would not recommended. Low quality drink.

I've never been to a yogurt store that makes you pay a set price first before selecting toppings, which also means toppings are limited based on the yogurt size (something I only realized later after looking at a picture I took in the store). The employee who was supposed to help me immediately gave me attitude, as if I was supposed to already know all the "rules" of the store. I said nothing that would have warranted that reaction -- I simply went over to the display. At the register, I scanned my rewards app then couldn't find the card reader to pay. After about 20 seconds, I realized it was sitting on top of a case of water bottles (pictured). The topping limit signage was also placed off to the side of the register where customers wouldn't naturally see it -- it wasn't even on my side and was partially blocked. I only found this out when I went up to the counter after I got my yogurt. While choosing toppings, I asked how many I was allowed, and she responded, "How many toppings do you think you're supposed to choose?" with a noticeably rude tone. When I chose cookie dough as my fourth topping, she only gave me a few pieces, dropped another on the counter (pictured), and ignored it. The cookie dough topping was stale too. I also noticed she did not seem to treat other customers the same way. I eventually went back to the register - I asked her if the yogurt was actually strawberry matcha because it tasted like vanilla. I also asked about her rudeness because I genuinely didn't understand why I was being treated that way for asking simple questions. She said the information was "on the wall," even though it was difficult to see. I actually ended up apologizing earlier because she made me feel like I was burdening her. The only personable thing she said the entire interaction was that I didn't need to apologize, but the tone still felt unfriendly. Two customers sitting nearby ended up leaving without ordering. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday and she appeared to be working alone, which may have contributed to stress. Still, I left feeling extremely shaken and even spilled yogurt on my jacket afterward. I would not return to this location. I used to come to this location sometimes, but after this experience -- and a previous visit where I ordered a tea and received very little -- I would not return.

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit at Port Authority 42nd Street's A, C, E trains and buses near the peripheral of Times Square.
