    Marlin y Hasbleidy so sweet!

Marlin & Hasbleidy went above and beyond to make us feel welcome at breakfast! It was delicious and they were very hospitable! Super nice! Thank you for making my girls feel special :)

We got free tickets for two dates with an "end of year" promotion. Even so, it wasn't too crowded...we'll be back next month! My 7 year old had a blast. She went on most rides alone (water was WAY too cold for me). Most families seemed to be doing the same...the park is small with lots of staff present.

I recently stayed at the CoCo Key Orlando Resort and overall had a great experience! Check-In Experience I arrived earlier than the standard check-in time and learned they charge a $50 early check-in fee. Since I didn't want to pay the extra cost, I left to do something else to pass the time and returned later. When I did check in, Brian assisted me, and he made the process incredibly easy and stress-free. I appreciated how friendly and helpful he was from start to finish. Room & Comfort I booked the King Suite. While the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, it's not very upscale or modern it definitely has more of a motel-style vibe. That being said, it met my needs perfectly, and the best part was that it was located right near the entrance to the waterpark. As a mom traveling with my 7-month-old son and a stroller, that convenience was a huge plus! Resort Fees & Parking Just a heads-up breakfast is not included, and there's an additional charge for parking. You pay for everything in full at check-in, so it's best to be prepared for those extra costs. Breakfast Experience I decided to try the breakfast, and it was excellent! A big shoutout to Sandra, Valentina, Eli, and Marin, who were so kind and helpful. Since it was just me and my baby, they stepped in to help me juggle making a waffle and getting eggs and bacon. That level of service really made a difference in my morning. Waterpark & Activities The waterpark has a lot to offer for kids of all ages. Even though my son is only 7 months old, we spent time in the low areas and had a blast. For families with older kids, there are several fun slides both small ones you can go on with little ones and big ones for the thrill seekers. Check-Out Checking out was a breeze. I simply gave my room number and name, and that was it quick and easy! Overall While the rooms could use a bit of updating, the service, convenience, and amenities more than made up for it. The friendly staff, great breakfast, and family-friendly waterpark make it a fun and practical choice, especially for families with young children. I'd happily return for another stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and all the fun amenities they have. We loved the water park, pools and hot tub. We also enjoyed the bar and food for breakfast and lunch. My only two complaints is there isn't any elevators to go on the second floor with luggage easily and a lot of the staff that works the property don't communicate well when looking for help. But we had a great time and I appreciate all the fun nightly themes they have too like the foam party

    Breakfast buffet

We had breakfast at the buffet our first morning and Sandra was so sweet and welcoming! She felt like family and made my brother feel special on his birthday.

This place has changed so much over the years. Take a look at the new changes. Rooms are being updated and all food and beverage area are getting some huge upgrades. Check out the photos.

UNSAFE!!! Stay away from CocoKey Resort in Orlando!!!!!!! I've been traveling for over 22 years with my children's sports and I've never felt so unsafe or grossed out by a lodging facility. Can't say hotel because it's definitely a motel category. My poor teenager said mom I don't feel safe here can we leave. That interior door shown on the video by the restroom doesn't lock and yet it has another door that can access the room we were given. There are approximately 9 buildings in this facility and we were placed in a building with no other occupants and yet they claimed they were at full capacity during check-in; yet when we walked around our building no other souls were around (outside or even in the rooms) and all upstairs and downstairs rooms (2 floor building) had blinds fully open with no one inside the rooms. When we went to the lobby and asked for a supervisor, they claimed no supervisors were in. I told them how unsafe we felt and he didn't apologize. It don't even phase him. He also stated that if we wanted another room we needed to pay more and the money for my 3 night stay wouldn't be returned. Stay alert, stay safe, and stay out of this place!!!!!!!!! Smells horrible, tub doesn't drain, and opening the front door of this room requires full force!

Typhoon Lagoon is shipwrecked tropical island themed with the biggest wave pool in the country. The waves reach 6 feet high and are intense enough to slide a bikini down (so I've heard). There are slides for 2+ so you can adventure together. Lazy River is pretty spacious and has floaty chairs -game changer. Not sure how I can go back to a standard tube after that. Loungers, chairs and picnic tables were available first come first serve. The reserved areas were booked up but we found the perfect location for all five of us. Sun and shade with the nearest bartender just a few steps away. The Mai Thai and Rum Runner were absolutely delish. Was happy to see hard cider available. Disney's magic is keeping the park clean and beautifully landscaped all day long. The water was always that perfect cool and refreshing temp, and crystal clear. Food options were limited but the souvenir beer cup came with the cheapest drink refills I saw in any park other than the bottomless resort cups. I did not try the body slides so maybe there is something there? Again, a great way to recover mid long trip, but not terribly fun. Def go on check-in day for a free park day!

The entrance was quick and easy. We arrived at 10:30 which was way later than the opening time and were able to find great seats by the volcano. We didn't get a locker since we took only a few things. But they do offer lockers. The park wasn't too crazy since it was a Tuesday and the day right after Memorial Day. The lines were very short. I think only maybe two rides had a 35 minute wait which is pretty great. I love how in the bathrooms they have changing rooms and also a changing room with shower where you can rinse off and change. The family rooms are a bit different. They have a bathroom with changing table and shower in them which is very helpful with little ones. The park has these burst of water that shoot at your feet so your feet are always cool. Which i thought was pretty awesome. They have multiple food spots around the park and places to get snack. I got the waturi fusion ice cream and let me tell you it's worth the hype . It has banana, blue raspberry, orange, and strawberry and those flavors worked so well together. We ordered three and our whole family loved it. Our family loved TeAwa, The Fearless River. We spent two hours out of our seven hours at the park there. Everyone must wear a life vest while in that water. Its a 10000/10 highly recommend. In all our first time at volcano Bay was amazing. We loved it and would love to come back again.

Our longest wait was for Krakatau, and we still went twice in an hour. It is an awesome water coaster (unless you ask my 4 year old, who was terrified -- whoops!). Other favorites included the Puihi Round Raft Rides, especially the green line. I think we rode this one five times in an hour today, and twice yesterday. Ika Moana is conceptually similar, and also excellent. Overall, Volcano Bay may be our favorite of the four Universal Parks. I'm shocked to be saying that, since I've come to Universal several times, and never been tempted to visit Volcano Bay. Nevertheless, I need to say it; this is a legit great water park.

From the moment we arrived to when we left, everything was really well done. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which set the tone right away. They have a buffet for breakfast and lunch with a good variety of options, so I feel like most people could find something they like. There are also smaller stands with snacks, pizza, and ICEE stations. Now let's talk about the drinks. There is just something about a frozen daiquiri when you're by the water. Highly recommend getting the drink package and trying a few... or all of them if you can handle it. I loved how many different areas there were to explore. Seeing dolphins swimming so close to the beach was actually kind of magical. They also have a monkey island which I was really excited about. It was closed when we got there, but I could still see them from a distance and I loved that. The aviary was really cool too. Tons of birds, but also tons of people. They recommend going first thing when the birds are most active, which we did, but so did everyone else. We got there about 45 minutes after opening and the birds already seemed a little over it. Honestly, I don't blame them. The Grand Reef was such a cool experience. I didn't really know what to expect, and even though it's man made, it still feels really immersive. Some of those rays are huge and have zero fear. They will swim right into you. My guy had never experienced anything like that and he loved it. I also liked that there were shallow areas and deeper sections if you wanted more of a snorkeling feel. The only downside for us was the Wind Away River. There are spots that get deep really fast, and that day they were apparently out of floaties because people were hoarding them and claiming areas. Staff even acknowledged it, which was frustrating because nothing was being done about it. It made parts of the river harder to enjoy than they should have been. Other than that, everything else was great and it made for such a fun day. Also the bar swings were a highlight. Loved those.

A lot has changed the second time around. The pros: 1. Close to Orlando theme parks 2. Decent waterpark The cons: 1. Outdated and dirty property (garbage smell and dirty hallways, and elevators) 2. Dirty rooms and broken furniture 3. Poorly equipped rooms- we only had 2 towels and 2 facecloths for a family of 4 that were in the master bath. Second bathroom did not have towels or facecloths (we had to call the front desk for items) 4. The Kitchen was not fully stocked (no pans for oven, no sharp knives for cutting food, and no cutting board) 5. No housekeeping (we were there for 7 nights and not once did they show up). Did not have broom in the room or cleaning supplies. I had to empty all garbages in room the full stay and place bag in hallway. Garbage was only picked up once a day in hallway. There were always garbage bags in the hallway. 6. You are provided with a "starter kit" of supplies (one sponge for dish washing, one small liquid dishwashing soap, one dishwasher pack, one Tide for washing machine. One paper towel, one pack of toilet paper for each bathroom and 1 box of Kleenex for each bathroom). Once supply is depleted, you are responsible for purchasing additional items. 7. The pool area is overcrowded. If you do not get in line at 9:30 AM (pool area opens at 10 AM) you will not get a seat. I found people go to the pool area early (9:30 AM) drop off their stuff for the day and leave area. That means if you don't get there early to scoff up a spot yourself you are left standing. However, you have the option on spending extra money to 2 rent chairs $$ ($69) or a Cabana $$$ ($250) for the day. I had mentioned this to management and they said there is no way of monitoring this. That if I wanted a guarantee area that I would need to reserve/rent chairs or a cabana. 8. Expensive resort fees, daily. They charge resort fees on the day of arrival and departure. 9. Issue encountered with a booked transportation reservation (through resorts concierge) back to resort (from Epcot). Was left in an extremely dangerous situation by the resorts contracted bus driver. Me and my two kids were left stranded at Epcot. He "did not have the time" to take me and my kids back to the Grove (again, this transportation was pre-booked). He asked us to get off the bus at Epcot. He had to go to another resort (me and my two children were the only guests returning to the Grove). Bus driver said he ordered and paid for an Uber for me and my kids to go back to the Grove (all lies, as he did not order us alternate transportation). Tried calling the resort at 10 PM phone rang, selected front desk and was on hold for over 15 minutes. Was not able to get in touch with front desk at resort (no answer), Finally hung up due to frustration. I had to pay out of pocket for an Uber back to the resort.
