Ordered to go, entree was so so. Not the tasty entree I have experienced in the past. Service was quick and friendly staff when i arrived to pick up my order. The restaurant seemed to be semi busy for a Thursday night.

Coconut Bay is a hidden gem with a warm, inviting vibe and stylish interior. Came during happy hour (4-6 PM) and the drink deals were solid--perfect way to unwind after work. We ordered the pineapple fried rice, chicken satay, and calamari, and every dish delivered. The pineapple rice was flavorful with the right balance of sweet and savory. The chicken satay was tender, well-marinated, and paired with a rich peanut sauce. The calamari was crispy, light, and not greasy--easily one of the better versions I've had. Service was friendly and the atmosphere felt relaxed yet elevated, great for both casual hangouts and date nights. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for both the food and happy hour value.

We were a party of 13 celebrating Christmas dinner here. The guys ordered the appetizers while each couple ordered their own main course. I enjoyed the Crab Rangoon but the Garden Fresh Roll appetizers were bland. The Pad Thai was alright. The Panang Chicken Curry was too spicy with huge cuts of Jalapeno peppers. The Garlic Prawns seemed half cooked and disappointing. I tried the chocolate cake and the Thai Ice Tea which were both delicious. Their dishes in the past were good but some of the new dishes we tried were not up to par. Lacking consistency. They used to give you a free Thai Ice Tea after you check in but that was discontinued,

We came here for the happy hour between 4 and 6 PM and we absolutely enjoyed every single dish that we ordered and the margaritas were amazing and the Thai iced tea was phenomenal

Greetings to all , well lm back to the Coconut Bay. It has been a while since my last visit, but I see that things have remained the same, still very dimly lit in the whole restaurant but visually comforting; street parking only. The service was great as usual, although I must say that the wait staff are on point with their menu and will politely repeat your request after taking everyone's order. We had many different Tasty dishes, l will only give pix of some of them in this review. All of our dishes were very Tasty and I will continue to come back and try get everything in the menu. Once again Coconut Bay, Nice job and keep up the good (Cooking- Work ) .

We arrived around 4pm on a Sunday and were seated right away, which was a nice start. Place is decent, can accommodate a large group if needed. The Thai iced tea was just okay--not much flavor, and it came in a surprisingly small glass (pic looks big) I finished it in about four sips. We ordered the Angel Wings, which were decent but nothing memorable. The eggplant basil and panang curry were passable, but we've definitely had better versions elsewhere. The biggest letdown was the American fried rice--it tasted like old rice mixed with vinegar. Unfortunately, no one at our table could eat it. The garlic quail was quite chewy, making it difficult to enjoy. In the end, the egg rolls turned out to be the only thing we actually enjoyed for dinner.

Been here before, actually remember to take photos this time around. Big party of 12 on a Sunday afternoon, service was fast, waiters/waitresses were attentive, and the food was great. The interior is very clean and updated, great ambiance while eating. My favorite is their roti with curry sauce, panang curry and thai iced tea! I wish their portions were a little bigger but the amount of flavor in each dish makes up for it. Highly recommend anyone trying this restaurant if in the area!

We were famished when we arrived at Coconut Bay. It was one of the only open restaurants for Thai food at 3PM. We were doing a late lunch after arriving from the airport, we were very grateful that they stay open in the afternoons! We ordered an appetizer platter that allowed us to taste eggrolls, roti, chicken satay and crab rangoons, this felt like a good deal for the amount of food and variety. We really liked the roti and chicken satay! We ordered drunkard noodles (pad kee mao adjacent), highway noodles(similiar to pad see ew) and pad Thai. The portions are large and tasted great! It really hit the spot and filled us up. I wish the drunkard noodles was a bit spicier. Service was quick and they have plenty of seating inside!

This is hands-down my favorite Thai restaurant. I could eat this all the time. Parking is a bit tricky sometimes, but so worth it. We always order the Thai ice tea, pad thai, dumplings, peanut sauté, and pineapple fried rice. Staff is nice, service is good. Restaurant is clean and welcoming.

Decided to give this a try on a Monday night. It wasn't that busy compared to other restaurants in the area. The first thing I've noticed is how the menu items have different names here. It threw me off a little because I had to reference yelp to see what the dish actually is. I ended up getting the papaya salad, veggie pad see ew and pork fried rice. Everything was excellent flavor. Service was good especially since the waiters came by to check on us frequently and refill our waters. One star off for the extremely sticky floors. There might have been a spill but it was very very sticky!

The Thai food is absolutely flavorful here! We ordered string beans, pad Thai ( the noodles are thinner than usual), the fried fish with string beans and chicken basil (I thought it would be minced but that's ok!) Also ordered steamed rice and it came in this cute container! Also, I must say I like the entrance with flowers and neon sign and LOVW how they appreciate Art! Loved looking at the artworks, makes this place a gem!

    Panang Curry
    Lauren T.

The panang curry wasn't the best I've ever had. It came with a mild to medium spice, though I wish they had asked how spicy I wanted it. I chose the panang because it came with a nice variety of vegetables, which was a plus. Service was decent, but inside the restaurant was a bit uncomfortable. It was over 80 degrees outside and the air conditioning wasn't on inside. Making sure your patrons are comfortable would really go a long way.

The place is quite pretty. We opted for a small table outside , which is much quieter. Our waiter was a bit stiff around the collar. I suspect he is an old timer, and clearly, we are not regulars. Regardless, the food is great, and the prices are reasonable. The Food: Zucchini Cake, $15 - 4.5 Stars Menu: crispy zucchini cakes with cucumber & mint-yogurt dressing These cakes are ball shaped, deep fried, and made a healthy veggie taste naughty type of good. Very yummy. Lol Tzatziki, $9 - 5 Stars Refreshing and delicious, the tzatziki is an excellent complement to the meal. Octopus, $19 - 5 Stars I really need to stop eating octopus, but when I am in a Greek or Spanish restaurant, I am weak. Grilled octopus legs are soooo good. Their version is grilled just right, not too much char, plus they smartly removed the hardened tips (common) before serving. See photo. Lamb Shank, $34 - 5 Stars Menu: aromatic braised lamb shank with orzo & myzithra cheese The lamb meat is tender and falls off the bone. It is cooked just right. Mykonos Souvlaki, $31 - 5 Stars Menu: herbs marinated tenderloin, shallot & rosemary skewers I enjoy a tasty protein and produce meal, and this dish is perfection with tender pieces of tenderloin over a pile of veggies. It is everything I want.

Entrees did take a little while longer to be served but I don't blame the workers for the crowd. Service was attentive (server, food runners, & bussers). My drink: Post & Beam Cabernet Sauvignon red wine - rich, full bodied, mildly sweet with a smooth, long finish. Complimented my entree very well (lamb shank). No clash in taste going from eating to drinking. Appetizers: Calamari: Not a huge fan of calamari personally but it was okay. Crispy and chewy squid inside as expected. Greek fries: Typical fries. Crispy and garnished with 2 sauces. One has a mild spice. Nothing super special but it was good as a choice of "sides" from the menu that turned into an appetizer. Had some leftover for my entree that paired well with it actually. Zucchini cakes: crispy shell on the outside but a mushy, hashbrown-like inside of a flavorful mix of vegetables. Really enjoyed this one. Would recommend it. Entrees: Mine: Lamb Shank: soft, tender, the meat melts right off the bone. The sauce is amazing. Tasteful down to the garnish. There was one end that was super fatty and slimy and then different side of the same end that was really chewy like bubblegum but other than that, still my favorite dish from everyone else's. Glad I chose this. Fisherman's Pasta : the presentation is immaculate, very proportional ratio of seafood to the pasta. l like the variety but honestly, this dish is bland. Good thing I got the lamb shank! Arnisia Paidakia (Lamb Chops): Didn't eat but the person who ate it said it tastes good but kind of dry. What he enjoyed about it was that the rice was made of wheat & savory as well. Lobster Risotto - wasn't my personal order but I got to try a bite. Had some flavor and and enough meat from the tail to eat with the savory rice. Free birthday Baklava desert: Never had it before but I got a bite and liked it. Ended up giving the rest to everyone else. This place is good for its variety of choices so I may come back for the good food and atmosphere.

However, the menu felt much more limited than I remembered from several years ago, when it seemed more interesting and expansive. My friend and I shared the Chutney Prawns for $18 and the White Elephant Dosa for $26, along with one cocktail and one mocktail. Unfortunately, I was not especially impressed by the food. The prawns felt underwhelming for the price, and my mocktail was not particularly memorable. The dosa was visually impressive at two feet long, but it is ultimately still a very thin dosa and very crispy, and I found the seasoning somewhat overwhelming. The gunpowder and spices overpowered the dish for me, although the sauces and potato masala were flavorful. Our total came to approximately $90, and for that price, I expected a more satisfying overall experience. Service was also inconsistent. It was slow initially, and while our server was cordial and kind once he assisted us, he did not return to check on us after taking our order. We ultimately relied on the bartender for items such as an extra spoon and the check. The ambiance is beautiful, but between the limited menu, high prices, uneven food, and inattentive service, I do not feel the experience justified the cost. Unfortunately, I do not plan to return. For Michelin rated I expected more.
